M. L.Wonderful stay. Very welcoming and accommodating. No 'spa' per se for treatments but in room spas are a great size. You could easily fit three people and still have plenty of room. They are almost too big for an intimate setting for two. Pool is lovely and warm but still refreshing on a hot summers day. Pool towels arent provided in the pool area or in rooms, but are available from reception/housekeeping upon request.

R. T.My wedding reception was held in the Restaurant. I had a bad experience with another venue and gave the Pagoda a call. Their service was exceptional. Alice was an absolute legend. She took all the pressure and worry out of our hands. It was a wonderful occasion and I really can’t thank the Pagoda, and in particular, Alice enough. A memorable occasion and everyone at the wedding commented on how great it was. A huge thank you to all the staff that worked that night to make our day as we would have wanted it. If you are thinking of a wedding reception venue, do not hesitate with the Pagoda. Alice will make your day stress free.

S.Booked for the long weekend but ended up only staying for a night due to the lock down. we booked on a non-refundable rate through booking.com, it was impossible for us to get through to see if we can cancel the rest of the stay for a refund. The lady at the reception was most helpful, offered us a credit for a return stay the next time. We managed to get some dinner at the restaurant that evening, food was really nice and a few cocktails to down our disappointment for having to cut shirt our plans.
Only option for breakfast the next morning was room service only, the restaurant was closed due to the lock down. Pretty decent room service breakfast. Everything about the place is nice, room beautiful, people lovely and we can't wait to go back soon.

T. S.Great place to stay and a convenient location. Free street parking is great, and it's great been so close to the zoo and local shops and cafes . The staff were very friendly as well.
This place also has a great pool which the kids and us loved, but would be great if they had a bit more shade.
some other feedback to make our experience better:
We stayed in a 2 room apartment, which had plenty of space and 2 ensuites. The room was spacious however in need of maintenance, the kitchen cupboards were rotting at the bottom and the dishwasher very old and leaks. The room could do with a paint and eventually a renovation (new carpets, bathroom, kitchen). The balcony door is risky as there is no lock. there were also some cigarette butts around the balcony (no smoking policy).
The other slight downer was the fact it took over an hour for our room to get ready, and there seemed to be a real lack of cleaning staff. The hallways were quite dirty and we also didn't have towels for the first few hours after checking in (I will note it was a public holiday). Also our rooms didn't cleaned to the later afternoon due to the lack of staff.
I also wish they had more rooms with showers only so people that can't step into a bath could stay there. The accessible rooms are very very small.
Overall we do like this place, and would be back again. Would be great if they could refresh the property and rooms. and maybe get more cleaning staff then it would be better

k.I have stayed here often , the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and for a spa suite it's such great value for money, and is hard to find comparible facilities at other Perth hotels for such a reasonable price. Am a little disappointed that currently visitors who are not registered guests are not permitted in rooms due to covid restrictions, but that's not the fault of the hotel. Although it would have been nice to know this upon booking instead of after check in, as now I have to leave the hotel to catch up with my friends and family who were planning to drop in throughout my stay with my birthday presents! But other than that, I love this place. .. must go now, it's time for a spa.
Oh and I was gifted free a bottle of wine in my room!

A.Our wedding was at the resort, a special thank you to our wedding coordinator Alice who did a brilliant professional job, she
incorporated plan B, C when things didn't go well, she also made her personal touches which were absolutely amazing and helped me with a tiny project as a surprise for my "husband", a special thank you to Sandy behind the bar when our hired DJ was sacked as his computer didn't work and didn't have any backups, Sandy wired our phones to their speakers, a big thank you to every staff in Pagoda, we couldn't fault them, they made our special day really special, I highly recommend them.

L. W. C.Quiet place with plenty of free parking in the vicinity. Well presented and friendly staff. Food is alright, but expensive. I stayed in their 2 bedroom and it was clean and neat.
However, rooms are small. They do not provide dressing gowns and/or disposable slippers.
The bathroom is slightly mouldy and doesn't have easy access shower. You've got to climb into the spa for a shower.
Though the kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, a microwave and a kettle, they do not provide complementary tea/coffee/sugar in the room. I thought this was now a standard.
One of two available lifts wasn't working the whole time I was there. However it was never tagged to be 'out of service'to let patrons know.

A. Y.Booked a high tea at the restaurant for my sister's kitchen tea celebration - the manager and all the staff were so accomodating and helpful. The service was excellent as was the food. Maybe would have like one or two more savoury options though. The restaurant is beautiful, and even though it was small and we had a group of 20, the room fit us perfectly and it wasn't too noisy or crowded at any point.

The people at the esplanade River suites are very helpful and will always say hello as you go past recepo. The staff were fantastic. We loved the location and the surrounding area of Como and South Perth. The price is justified.

Shower is in spa bath so difficult to get in and out of if you are elderly or disabled. Had to ask for extra towels etc as only 2 of everything instead of 3.

J.Stayed for a wedding and the resort needs updating, especially the rooms as they are outdated and the beds were mishapened and uncomfortable, there was a big difference between the two beds in the same room. Key cards kept playing up and we had to get them fixed many many times throughout the stay. Overall cleanliness was an issue. The staff are lovely and very accommodating and they are probably the best part about this accomodation, but the venue is showing it’s age and needs a facelift.

M. C.Attended for Christmas lunch and it was alright. I understand you pay a excess for Christmas, but I don't feel it was worth the high price tag for what you get. Service wasn't great, and difficult to get which meant the extra paid for drinks being included meant I got 3 beers in the 3 hours I was there. Food was nice, but mains were a little underwhelming and expected a bit more for my money. Overall I can't say I'd recommend it, but I'd give it another go during normal service periods.

The food was delicious, although low options for those with dietary issues but more associated with the event that was on I think and their choice of food offered. The cost $199 was fairly good though and the buffet breakfast inc in this price was great. An adequate choice for business although I not sure I would recommend it for a ro***tic getaway.
S. L.The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, providing us with a room with beautiful river views. Even though this meant facing the highway as well the noise was practically non existent. The bathroom facilities were fantastic, and we has a nice relaxing spa, though I have stayed at places with nicer smelling soaps the ones supplies did the job, having a bath oil or soap for the bath is would have been nice for that extra little bit of luxury. The free mini bar supplied was fantastic for a change, the pictures on the Web did show a kit-kat included which ours did not it was very nice to have some drinks supplied. Breakfast in the morning was interesting, the buffet had a mix of Eastern and Western choices, playing it safe I only has the food I was familiar with which was a bit of a let down. The fruit was nice and fresh but the croissants and muffins were on the dry side, the scrambled eggs on the watery side and a lot of the other offerings were a tad on the cold side; all entirely edible but not as enjoyable as my usual Sunday morning Sizzler buffet breakfast. Would totally recommend staying here to others, but maybe find an alternative to breakfast (and not room service, the costs for that struck me as excessive and totally unnecessary to charge a delivery fee when that should be part of the cost already.
m. h.Great Stay, We arrived Christmas Eve and from the time of arrival at reception and leaving on Boxing day the service was 5 star. The room we had was well appointed ,comfortable bed and best of all nice sun blocked curtains. Had a balcony room so if wanted could sit outside lovely view of the pool.Christmas lunch was 5 star all the way there was nothing you could fault, food ,service and the atomsphere GREAT. I would recommend anybody thinking of having Christmas lunch there do it. Thank you the staff of the hotel for your service Christmas day was lovely.

T. M.After a long trip from home, arrived late in Perth and looking for reasonably priced accommodation at short notice. We had wanted a room with a balcony but they explained that we had been allocated a river view room which had been totally refurbished. Great service and relaxing stay.
X. S.A lovely ambience at this place inside and out. Was here for a training event with buffet dinner. Food was good but I would only rate their dishes (served on the night) somewhat above average overall, some were very delicious while others were of standard taste. Didn't have much interactions with the staff there but they all walked around with a smile and appeared very friendly.

T. M.We booked a spa suite for new years eve and were greeted by friendly staff at the front desk. Easy access to Perth City and surrounds via freeway. Didn't make me feel too comfortable leaving anything of value in the room. I’d be happy to come back to the Pagoda.
T. M.I have stayed here ***y times over the years and always enjoyed it, I was pleasantly surprised on my visit this time to find the place had under gone a refurb. Restaurant was really nice and very tasty. There was a smaller bar fridge in the living room fully supplied.
J. F.A nice hotel, set in a very good location, the customer service staff seemed slightly abrupt, but having three wedding receptions going on on the night may have had something to do with that. We weren't able to use the restaurant, as one of the receptions were using it, so I can't speak to the quality of the food. The room was mostly clean, however on walking in there was a used (washed) coffee cup sitting on the sink, and the cupboard with the toaster was full of crumbs, from the toaster. Our room was a double king suite, with two bedrooms and two spa bathrooms. The decor was slightly dated, and not of great quality. The bed was clean and comfortable, however the television in the room was mounted poorly, and was on an angle. The bathroom was atrocious, the toilet cistern was only just hanging on the wall, the spa bath was noisy and rattled when the pump was used, the washing machine was placed far too close to the toilet. Additionally, the shower was over the spa bath, which was not ideal. Finishing on the room was also poor, with one light switch lacking an outer cover, and a sign posted with all the air conditioner remotes that they leaked when used under 22C. The balcony was serviceable, however if anyone wanted to be on the balcony, the door had to be left open, otherwise they would be trapped on the balcony. This let in a high amount of traffic noise from the freeway and made it impossible to control the temperature in the apartment. The lifts were glitchy at best, one was stuck on level 2 for over five minutes, and the other one was out of service the next morning. Overall, whilst convenient, and 'nice', I will not be staying at this hotel again, and feel that the venue has passed its prime, and the public are being made to pay for it.

I. J.I have been to the Heritage Room for High Tea with family and recently for a social event which included a two course lunch. I found it to be a very enjoyable experience on both occasions. I would have no hesitation recommending the Heritage Room to others. It is spacious and elegant and the food was very good indeed.

T. M.Stayed at the hotel overnight for business as I will be doing on a monthly basis (from Melbourne) as my office is a short walk away. Fortunately there was no noise from the traffic on the Freeway. The room was a very good size and well laid out. The Pagoda came up with a reasonable rate and my daughter used to work there.

In the restaurant some of the dishes weren't available and you didn't know this until you ordered. For the price they charge I would expect alot more than was offered. K. O.My partner and I decided that for one day we were going to treat ourselves to a nice hotel room with a spa so we can relax together. We paid for the Romance package and upon arrival we were told that they couldnt get roses which were apart of the Romance package, so they have upgraded our room to a delux room and added extra chocolates into the room! The hotel room was beautiful with a huge bed and an area with the spa bath and comfy robes, we also had a balcony attached.
We were told that the resturant would be closed for the night as it had been rented out for a wedding which was fine. We ordered room service, my partner got a steak sandwich and I got the fish of the day which was probably the best fish I have ever had! After dinner we had chocolate strawberries and champagne bought to the room (all apart of the package) and we hopped in the spa to enjoy our evening. Never felt so relaxed.
The morning we made our way down to the resturant where we saw they had a massive buffet for breakfast. I tried so many different things that I’ve never had before, was perfect end to our time away. 😍

T. M.After a long trip from home, arrived late in Perth and looking for reasonably priced accommodation at short notice. We had wanted a room with a balcony but they explained that we had been allocated a river view room which had been totally refurbished. Great service and relaxing stay.
D. P.We went for Xmas dinner. It was OK. The buffet was not good. All the meat was overcooked and quite bland in flavour. It wasn't really a buffet, they brought out some plates and the table had to share them and if you ran out there wasn't any more. So if one person at the table took too much that would leave little/nothing for others. I prefer a traditional buffet or individual servings - this hybrid buffet setup doesn't work. To offset the bad meal, the drinks package was great. Free flowing jugs of 100 Lashes all night long with efficient service from the bar staff. The waiters were fairly clueless though. You could tell they were brought in from overseas for cheap labour.

There was a choice of parking in the hotel for a fee or there was plenty of parking for free on the street. The buffet breakfast was also great. Where the hotel was situated in Como made Perth extremely accessible and was right next to the freeway. It is also close to multiple dining options.

K. R.Being on the side of the freeway I was worried about noise but wasn't bothered at all. Nice and clean, check in took a little longer than expected but over all no problems. One issue was that the balcony lock isn't too great as if you don't turn the knob it will lock you out side in the balcony which is what happened to us haha thankfully staff were walking below on the path and we could let them know but if this had happened without a phone and at night could be a big issue. Other than that great stay

The buffet breakfast was great & I had steak & chips my dad had steak & mash potatoes very very Nice. There is a scent of incense around that creates an exotic atmosphere (although I didn't see any incense). Street parking and a carpark next to the park are available and free. Handy to the zoo and golf course.
