l. g.Just an average hotel, can tell that it's a bit old and it's been redone but it's good for a little getaway. Found some massive spiders in my room and some rubbish hidden underneath the curtains but other than that it was okay.

I. F.First time staying. Unhappy that I requested a king/double bed, spoke to the guy at front desk and made sure it wasn’t 2 beds just pushed together because I’ve had that before at other hotels, but he ensured it was an actual double bed, only to find it was just 2 singles pushed together.
Air conditioner does not work at all, only goes down to 20° but you absolutely can’t feel any air blowing out. General upkeep and maintenance is needed.
The breakfast was pricy and not worth it. Also costs $30 extra for parking.
Average hotel, staff are nice and informative, but I wouldn’t consider staying again.

Breakfast was terrible. No food was ready by 7am (I had to leave early for a tour to Rottness Island). Staff and chef were both disoriented and seemed not informed.

T. M.My partner and I really enjoyed the location and the room. Parking in basement is a little cramped I would suggest that you don't take a big car down there. The hotel room is very comfortable, very peaceful and quiet. Late check out was approved free of charge when requested on the morning of checkout.

T. M.Australia, and Perth in particular, is a very expensive destination even for companies employees. I could feel the bass from the music going through my room and could hear cutlery and plates clattering constantly. The staff (well the lady who served us) was rude on checkin and check out.

S.For the price these rooms are very reasonable, older yet renovated. Downstairs the bar and restaurant filled with professional yet friendly employees.
B.Lovely hotel. Nice clean cosy room. Friendly and attentive staff. Needed to to book the parking in advance so be prepared to search for a space on the streets. We have booked the room for 3 adults and when we've arrived it was made up only for 2. The mistake was dealt with quickly and we were able to enjoy the stay. Great location. Easy access to highways.

S. R.Very average stay. My husband and I decided to book spontaneously as we needed a night out. Our stay was a little disappointing and we won't stay again. The TV is extremely small for the size of the room and the bed was very uncomfortable. The toilet paper is ridiculously thin, probably 0.5 ply!! Our aircon was so noisy and sounded like it was struggling all night. Although you have both sheer curtains and normal curtains, they are not blockout so the light was coming in. There are no plugs next to the bed for phone charges to be plugged in. No reading lamps on the bedsides and the main light switch is at the front door so you can't turn it off from the bed. The rooms lack personality and the decor is so outdated. The only water available is from the tap or else you are paying $4.50 for a 500ml bottle... this should be provided for free!!! I have no idea how this place is getting 4 and 5 star reviews. It is in desperate need of a renovation. The only good things were the front desk operator who was extremely friendly and the fact that it is in close vicinity to the CBD. Can't complain about the cleanliness either as that was fine.

Unfortunately the facilities were pretty average: TV with patchy reception, slow WIFI, and the only cupboard+safe were in the bathroom for some reason. Worst was the noise, with paper thin walls providing no insulation from food trolleys and guests going past at all hours, not to mention the loud sliding doors to neighbour's bathrooms.

This wonderfully unassuming hotel easily equals any hotel we have stayed at - regardless of price - when it comes to service. Honestly can't fault the friendly, no request is too hard manner of the staff here. This can't be understated when traveling with an infant and it really made the difference for us. Special thanks to James who helped us move rooms which really was the extra distance that made us go 'this place is awesome'. We will be back next time we visit Perth!

Lemonade. Waited over an hour for our meals. When they did come it was the worst caprese salad ever. I couldnt eat it. Bad enough having to wait so long! Would still use the hotel though.

There are two seating sessions the first starting at 12:00pm. Each session lasts for 90 minutes however they shut down at 2:00pm so the 1:00pm session was a bit rushed. I would highly recommend the 12:00pm session for a more leisurely meal.

Uber from train station $7 but only a 5 minute walk, or bus port 400m away.

J. F.Stayed two nights and I must the staff were excellent. They went above and beyond for me and my partner celebrating our two anniversary. The room for the price (Groupon two nights with premium package) was lovely and the bed was comfy. The shower isn't the best as temperature knobs are unbelievably confusing to use. The television is good although it can be hard to see from the bed. The free buffet breakfast was definitely the biggest let down. The food is sub par and only being I had already paid for it I would have opted to find somewhere else for breakfast. The food for lunch and dinner is way better and definitely worth the amount you pay (note that the pizza sizes are rather large and could be shared between two people) the bar staff also are great at creating drinks with the staff member "Nathan" in the bar creating the greatest lemon and lime bitters I have ever tasted. The closeness to the shopping districts and restaurants was also a nice bonus. The hotel on the outside may look pretty outdated however it isn't that way on the inside this don't judge a book by it's cover. All in all a lovely two nights away.
C.This is quite a new hotel so the decor is up to date and the rooms and beds are comfortable. There is a restaurant and bar selling good quality meals at average pub prices. The only thing that was disappointing is the staff. They were quite unhelpful when I asked for a fresh towel and water and they didn't seem to know anything about where I could hire a car or what attractions where good around the local area. They also didn't have any public transport brochures and where again unhelpful with public transport times or where we could catch a bus. One girl had a particularly bad attitude and could be seen as outright rude to our group. Wouldn't recommend due to unhelpful staff at this upmarket hotel.

J. R.On arrival the lady at the desk was quite abrupt, and could have used a little more initiative. I booked 2 nights in a King Room. Our first night was in a small room, with a queen bed, not what I booked. Jillian at the desk fixed our booking and we were relocated to a King room which was much more comfortable. In general the place was clean, some of the furniture could be replaced, but it's close to everything in the city. Just be aware of the parking fees...which are not mentioned. Thanks Jillian for making our stay much more enjoyable.

Z. D.While it is quite disappointing that the attendants did not bring the bath plug as requested, the entire experience was still good. Since the hotel is near the city, it was easy to go out and about the city centre. The room had TV for leisure and an option to watch movies for a price - though quite expensive in my opinion as it would have been just as easy to go online rather than pay for a movie that costs about a whole month's worth of subscription on Netflix. It can also be noted that the noise from across the hall travels into the room, but nothing to a point of annoyance. Overall, it was a good experience for something affordable and accessible at the same time.

j. c.The staff at the front desk were efficient and very friendly, however the staff in the cafe were a. Almost non existent and b. Not attentive. My visit was at 7:30 and it was dead (in hindsight that should have been a clue.)
Generally my room was clean, however the bathroom could do with a decent clean ( particularly the exhaust vent) and the toiletries appeared to be half used.
I have stayed in rendezvous hotel in Brisbane which was amazing. I probably won't return to the Perth location

We always maintain that provided the room and particularly the bedding and linen is clean that we can put up with other shortcomings and our room passed this test well.
Although the hotel was close to the freeway, traffic noise was minimal. However the noise from slamming doors and running water from other rooms at night was annoying at times. Also, the bed was a bit hard for our liking and the wardrobe door was stuck open.
The staff were friendly and very helpful, but the Buffet Breakfast was very expensive for what it was.

B. Q.I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this venue, and happily told R. on reception as I finally tore myself away on the last night to get to the airport for the red eye back to the east coast that of many reasons to recommend Rendezvous Hotel Perth Central, the main reason is:
The people.
The staff here are wonderful. They were interested in my tales, but equally, I was fascinated to hear theirs.
While receiving the sort of professional hospitality service you'd expect.
From the check in by the amazingly engaging S. including directions to a late night eatery, to my last drinks at sinfully cheap festive prices from the blur of action that is T. behind the bar, I have a shopping list of names and maybe one word that immediately summons to mind five days of incredible interactions.
And I spent most of my days out and about in the CBD, Mirrabooka, and Trigg Beach.
