Great place - excellent location and friendly helpful staff. Bathrooms are a bit tired but you don't spend much time in there. Most awesome is that you have balconies surrounded by trees and you can have REAL AIR instead of the recycled garbage most hotels deal up. The free off-street car park is also worth mention, as is the access to the CBD via the foot bridge just across from the front door. Great place to stay.

Great little unit. Clean and well equipped. Easy check in.
Close enough to walk into Perth City and Kings Park.
No problem finding a parking space. Will return.

Stayed there for a weekend recently. Great location, wonderful staff, and the room was perfect for my needs. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The rooms are gorgeous.
The food is amazing, so delicious.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The coffee is the best part. Which was hard to pull off because the whole experience was fantastic 🖤
R. W.
Limited parking but fine outside the weekends, really helpful staff and a nice layout. Rooms are dark with black out curtains and blinds.

This is a good spot. Nice size room (triple room), comfortable beds, a lovely little balcony and the most comfortable armchair I have ever sat in ☺️
O. B.
Riverview and Tribe are probably the best of the mid-range boutique hotels in Perth.
Riverview has bigger rooms with a kitchenette and very comfortable beds. The hotel is stylish but not pretentious and we felt immediately comfortable. We checked in late and left early so didn't really interact with staff but the whole process was without hassle and access was easy.
Walking distance to the city or there are free buses. Great hotel and would recommend without hesitation.

It's a nice place.
There is private bathroom a kitchen, balcony, etc and It's very close to the center and to river too.
There is a Snap Gym near and really nice places to go.
You can see all Perth from the top, 400m walking from the Hotel.

Absolutely value for money!! The room could do with a bit of a cleanse but we were very happy. Location is fantastic, staff were lovely and the Cafe was a hit!
My only negative is the parking. The car park was a very tight fit for a large car with minimal spots. Roadside parking was generally full.

A great property and lovely staff don’t listen to the wingers of the world!
Im currently staying here @ “Riverview on Mount”and am mostly happy with the hotel and the cafe attached, Kate who managers the cafe is awesome and so are her crew of lovely ladies & gentlemen wait staff. Chefs are amazing to watch while sitting at the bar it’s like dinner and show lol
I’m reading a few reviews from the recent lockdown and I too like many of us have been affected, losing money form being locked out of work and spending coin I can’t afford…..
To you people who are complaining about the lack of credit or refund from the recent lockdowns of June/July 2021 you can clearly all write but have trouble reading!! IT’S IN VERY CLEAR PRINT BEFORE YOU CAN BOOK NO CREDITS NO REFUNDS ITS SO CLEAR THEY EVEN STATE THEY WONT CHANGE THE BOOKING EVEN IF ITS COVID RELATED OR AFFECTED!!! It couldn’t be clearer to me that you should be focusing your losses and frustrations at yourselves not the hotel who have been upfront and honest before taking your booking and quit rightly so your money too……..
I do however agree that phone manners can be rather curt from some of the girls as I too have experienced this but blame you bloody wingers for giving them an unwarranted serve for not reading the very clear T&Cs of this great little property.
People please be accountable and responsible for yourself and stop ripping it up hospitality people for your lack of same! They do a great job for the most part serving us every single day and please spare a thought for the next hospitality person you come into contact with be considerate and kind and these amazing people just might surprise you…….
BTW just recently I Inadvertently booked a budget room and had to be moved but that was my fault and Eric the managers went out of his way to ensure I was moved quickly and smoothly.

Awesome location and friendly staff, had a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s and old building with an interesting past, all renovated to a high standard. Our room was nicely modernised with a useful kitchenette. Location is great. A short walk over the pedestrian bridge and you’re in the city. The magnificent Kings Park is just up the top end of the street. The on-site cafe is excellent and very popular. Our interactions with the staff on the front desk was always professional and pleasant. We will be back.

I stayed here for about 7 weeks during the lockdown period, was just perfect for my situation. It felt like home and I was sad to leave. Received great service from the wonderful employees at reception. Cleaning staff did an amazing job as well.

I'm staying here for the first time and love it. The hotel is in a fantastic location as kings park and botanical gardens are 1 min walk away and the CBD is 1min walk in the other direction. Rooms are modern and have a great kitchen with gas cooktop and microwave, kettle toaster and all the stuff to cook a meal. The rooms areas nice as in the pics. Friendly staff
N.
Good sized rooms with a fair sized balcony. We stayed here for a week and even had a good chat with the cleaners. Very friendly service and genuine people. Felt like home and we felt comfy. Rooms are equipped with cooking pots and pans. Free parking is available which is a bonus. Laundry services are available and costs around $5. Laundry detergent is complimentary. Very modern industrial vibe. You can smoke in the balcony but have to ensure that the smoke doesnt get into the room which we felt is a fair call since its a small studio hotel with great services in a convenient location.

Stayed here for a week for work. The Hotel itself is quite pleasant, lovely area and only a short walk to the centre of town. Staff were all also reasonably friendly. The issues I had were with the room and restaurant.
The room, now don’t get me wrong the room was clean, bed was comfortable and it was spacious. However, the seating was poor, and it was very dark, at no time of day was it light enough to read without the light on, despite the large windows. Having said that, it is dark due to the trees outside which make it look very nice. The bathroom was also average, toilet is so close to the wall it’s difficult to sit without hitting the wall. I also never had a consistent temperature shower.
Other issue was the restaurant. The quality of the food and coffee served in the restaurant is not in question, it was the nicest coffee I had in Perth, and the breakfasts were delicious. However, as a Hotel guest I was unable to get a seat for breakfast on two mornings due to the runners, cyclists and Blue Collars who reserved the tables and stopped in. It is not a large restaurant but surely hotel guests must have some priority over walk ins, I was flabbergasted that hotel guests had nowhere to sit? Secondly, there are no dinners served in the restaurant, and given its location there are no other eateries nearby so you MUST go into town to eat dinner, which is fine if it’s not raining or you are happy to pay for an Uber. But some nights you just want to stay in.
There is free car parking on site, so if you have or hire a car, this could definitely make up for any of these flaws.
C. J.
Great location, very reasonable price. The cafe out front does good coffee and breakfasts.
It's an older building that has been renovated - room amenities are nice. No oven, but we had a 4-burner gas cook top. Bathroom could be a little bigger.
Free parking is nice, but it's first-in-best-dressed (street parking is free weeknights and all weekend).
J. D.
Solidly average. Location is good, but actual rooms are quite old and have just been given a bit of paint and new furniture to make them look nice. Small bathroom, wonky shower and TV only received a few stations without interference. Good budget option if you want to be close to, but not in the CBD
J. R.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms were clean with adequate facilities for cooking simple meals in your own room. Alternatively, Mount Street Breakfast Bar is right downstairs and offers lots of yummy options. Only downside was the uncomfortable pillows which had seen better days.
A. V.
First off, don't rely on parking your car there. Street parking is paid parking, and the free secure parking at the back has very, very limited spots (less than 16 spots). The view from the room was decent. The room itself was very clean, very pretty, and had a good amount of space. Walking to Kings Park is quite close, but requires a trek up a steep hill. Getting into the city shopping center is a few kilometers away but is downhill.
G. S.
Brilliant staff at the Riverview made this hotel my “home away from home” during COVID. Excellent location, nice large rooms with balcony’s or courtyards and the cafe downstairs has amazing food!
J. L.
Room was ok, bathroom was like a sweat-box that was poorly designed for excess condensation. Overall the hotel was nice but having to pay for the wifi is like a flash-back to 2002. Location next to Kings park was fantastic and the cafe makes great food and coffee.
S. Z.
A very nice place to stay in Perth. Quite near from the cbd, about 10 minutes walk to Elizabeth quay station. Or you can ride a free green CAT bus to go to the city, about 5 minutes walking. Nice staffs, clean bed sheets, clean room. They provide small kitchen so you can cook your meals, and also all the kitchen utensils you need for quick cooking. Definitely will stay here again next visit. Very recommended
R. D.
Very quiet room, nice comfortable room.
G. M.
Have stayed twice, both booked through corporate traveller. Same check in staff member unfriendly on two separate occasions. Location is good, Room comfortable and modernised.
One night was I told to leave the laundry at 7pm whilst I was waiting for all of my clothes to dry - the only time I can wash them around work hours. Was told "I'll get in trouble unless you leave". Guests really should get some leeway with regards to these things, reflects somewhat poorly on management if staff are "scared of getting in trouble" to assist in a once-off thing.
T.
Stayed here twice in two different rooms both clean and comfortable. Great location short walk to the city and kings park. Good rates. Will recommend.
S. V. L.
First of all, don't expect any river view. Decent and large rooms. Clean and reasonably well maintained. Some condensation problems in the bathroom, but not a real issue.
The parking is a bit annoying to enter as the gate doesn't fully open., which leaves a very narrow entry way.
No 24/7 service but wasn't a problem for us.
E. T.
Very good option for a lay over in Perth. This is a serviced apartment style place. We really liked the space and how quiet it was. Green cat is a very short walk from the front door (200m). Nice patio to crack a bottle of Pinot Gris! Some info people should be aware of:
1. The front desk is NOT 24h! Arrival after 7 pm should be pre arranged.
2. We came at 230 am and our cellphones were dead, thanks God our driver from the airport did not leave and he called provided # to get an access to the lock box. THIS WAS VERY STRESSFUL! Hotel did a BAD job communicating this to us!
3. You can only store bikes in the parking area and there no security.
4. Cleaning lady was banging on our door at 730 am. Bad idea!
5. Hot water was on and off.
6. There is no USB charging ports in the room and hotel reception does not have adaptor for the plugs. Big NO NO ourdays...
7. Our room and a door to another suite and it was very loud next door.
Overall, it was incomparable to our stay a week ago in Hilton Perth, but it served a purpose...
D.
Room was one of the budget studios. It was clean and tidy. With all amenities you could need. Only problem was housekeeping kept ALL the supplies next door. Linen cages outside the walkway. Mops & buckets by the front door. And 6am start with the water running & cleaning duties! No noise from other guests or patrons of the bar. Staff were all friendly if maybe slightly aloof in that Hipster kinda cool way?!?
G. W.
Ive stayed here twice grate value for the price
B. B.
Great! Lovely!😀, Professional & friendly service! Rooms are very clean & comfortable! Great location to the Perth Cbd, public transport & beautiful Kings park!
S. B.
A friend mentioned that I should head to Riverview to grab my regular morning coffee - and I am so glad he did! The restaurant area is small, but clean and funky and the staff are extremely friendly and personable. I decided to stay for breakfast; they have a small menu but serviceable and I decided on the scrambled eggs. Without a doubt, these were the best eggs I have ever had. Period.
The coffee is 5 Senses - a blend that I hadn't come across before and the barista's know how to get the best out of it. I have a new coffee spot and would recommend that if you are a fan of quality coffee, good food and friendly service, then give Riverview a go - you won't be disappointed.
J. C.
Unfortunately I was not able to complete my stay at Riverview due to COVID travel restrictions however the staff were extremely helpful in facilitating a refund and I would definitely consider staying there again in the future. Thank you for being so understanding.
N. S.
Good location, nice cafe, good value, however, they allow smoking on the apartment balconies which are separated only by screens. Your room can become filled with smoke from neighbouring apartments when the residents smoke. Also, wifi was $70 a week.
M. P.
A little disappointed that my husband couldn't get a refund for a night due to me having surgery at SJOG Hospital and being discharged early, being from Bunbury, apparently 24hr notice was needed! I would have understood if it was peak season!!
O. K.
Great sized rooms with everything you need, close to the city centre and Kings park. Lovely accomodating hosts too.
My favourite place to stay whilst in Perth.
A. W.
A really lovely place to stay. Very clean, and comfortable. Awesome staff, I highly recommend. Thank-you for our stay, you'll see us again. ☺
C. W.
Beautiful room, delicious breakfast & coffee. Excellent stay will definitely be back. :)
R. K.
Had breakfast here for the second time and the menu wasn't as good as the first time but the fit out of the place was still as lovely as before. Service was good, and the dish I ordered this time was also good (the chickpea dish), and a huge serving. Would like to come back at dinner time.
L. T.
Historical building. Frount counter staff member could be more enthusiastic. Nice decor and good sized rooms. Only issue was the bathrooms were small. Cafe was excellent.
M. D.
Omg this was so clean and tidy. Cafe below was awesome. All staff were friendly and helpful. Position was great too walk acroos bridge to the CBD of Perth. Kings Park just up the hill.
J. M.
Great location. Walking distance to everything. We were going to a concert which was about 7 min walk-perfect. Quiet location, self contained, clean and comfy bed.
S. H.
Nicely renovated, comfortable rooms wish I could stay there myself.
B. l.
So close to the city, and very affordable, we happened to be in a room under the car park, but those on the front with a view are the same price. Clean groovy Reno. Staff iffy, breakfast exy. Still great value for posi.
P. C.
Fabulous hotel for the price. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Nice rooms. Enjoyable stay, thanks.
T. F.
Need to buy wifi whenever it has to be used but considering the price you get the hotel for it's totally understandable. One of the downside is that there is no room service.
J. v. B.
Generous room sizes with comforts and good aesthetic, boutique feel but services aren't quite as modern as expected. Can't beat the location, nice coffee downstairs.
s. c.
Excellent rooms. Walking distance to CBD & Kings park. Great staff. Friendly & informative. Will definitely be coming back.
d. c.
Large rooms good kitchette poor amount of utensils good tv, great location no balcony or Riverview, mattress is tired & needs to be replaced, powerful aircon, clean & neat.
S. W.
french reception lady was rude and not helpful. Rooms were large, beds were very hard. hot shower. laundry only open during reception hours.
G. A.
Great inexpensive place to stay. Nice rooms, free parking.
N. M.
Clean, easy stay. Sometimes can hear showers running next door. Good breakfast bar. Friendly staff
L. M.
Close to where we needed to go. Clean and friendly. Stove top microwave and fridge. Not luxury accommodation but comfortable and affordable.

A convenient location for the CBD and King's Park. Room we had was a fair size but can't say I liked the decor personally, bit to modern for me.

(Translated) One week stay in the New Year. It is large enough for two adults and a six-year-old child. There is a kitchen and dining table where you can cook yourself, which is very convenient. The room we stayed this time had a bad view, but the room on the Swan River side looks good. There is no bathtub but no problem because there is a hot shower.
