D. P.Overall an enjoyable stay with no major issues. We stayed for a special occasion and decided to go to a "high end" hotel. The room rate was about three times what we would normally pay. I wasn't sure what to expect as a difference to our normal price hotels, so I went with an open mind. We received a birthday amenity (aka cake) which was nice. Some of the room service food was great (smoked chicken sando + brussel sprouts) and some was average (dry aged burger + hot n spicy chicken). Pool was nice and a good temperature but can get very busy. Pool side service was good. Most of the calls to guest services were handled well except for one (made about 5-6 calls total). The room make up service was reasonable but the first one forgot to give us any water and the second one forgot to refill our coffee pods. Not a major issue at all but very similar service to what we have experienced in a 250/night hotel. Overall, I don't feel like you get $500 a night of extra value per day but I have no specific complaints or issues and it was an enjoyable stay.
H. P.Probably the most extravagant hotel in Perth... with a price tag to match. You can't really fault it in any way, all aspects are handled in the manner you'd expect for the price you pay. It was thoroughly well thought out. Probably not 3 times better than the DoubleTree just across the square, despite being 3 times the price, but it's a fantastic place to stay if you've got cash to burn and want to treat yourself.

However the service can at times be a little slow, and sometimes requires ringing up a few times, and like others have mentioned you can wait a while to get your car from the valet. And the two lifts can cause delays when checking out, and at times the key cards didn't work. Also the hotel does at times lack a bit of finesse in the rooms, and things like ironing boards and an iron in the rooms (you have to request these things while most other hotels include this).

Very spacious room and the bathroom is just beautiful. The tub is enormous and sits within the shower enclosure so it doesnt matter if the water splashes. The blinds (sheer and blackout) are automatic or you can manually control them - they just add a touch of elegance.

We were really happy and content with our overall experience. The room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The view from our room was awesome especially at sunset. The services provided by employees from valet, front desk, concierge, lounge and restaurants, pool and spa are highly commendable. They were all very nice, attentive and welcoming. A.Excellent Staff, Delicious Food, Centrally located. Bonvoy Platinum recognition good, given last minute booking. GM Dario greeted at reception. However, room was a dust magnet, cleanliness behind the bed needs to be improved, especially when it's within line-of-sight.

Massive delays on check in meant rooms were not ready for us on arrival at 5pm when it opened at 3pm. We were instructed to wait in the bars and would be notified by phone when the room key was available. Both bars were full partly due to bad weather or other waiting guests. Our phone numver was never rung to notify us the room was ready but we did enquire after an hour/90 minutes.. We did appreciate the complimentary finger food and drinks though. We were told it was an IT issue but we suspect it was a housekeeping staffing issue as we also did not receive a room clean during two night stay. The room Make Up bell was disabled/broken.
Pool views ruined by dirty glass pool fence. Likewise at the vitality pool for leuvred windows (gendered spa baths). To be honest the pool view wasn't great at time of writing due to the two big construction which is out of their control. Ladies vitality pool is visible from Bell Tower viewing platform again out of those control.

O. K.Location is a huge contributing factor to this 5 star review. Crown, which is Ritz-Carltons biggest competitor in Perth has very nice rooms and quality service much like the Ritz, though the locality and proximity to city life can only be found at the Ritz. The ability to take a ferry across to Coco's for dinner is a huge plus. The rooms and views are great too, with automated everything basically. The room came with a chrome-cast which was very easy to connect with. Nice restaurants on ground floor as-well. Thanks Ritz

This is amazing! “Were the first words that come out of my mouth when I handed my car keys to the valet and proceeded to the to check in counter, where I was greeted by the most friendliest young girl (forgive me I don’t remember her name but it started with a C?) that it come across in conversation that myself and the wife rarely get a night kid free, that not even 10mins after we’ve stepped into our amazing Premium King river view room, there was a knock at the door with a complimentary bottle of bubbles and a hand written note from the girl on the desk - that put a very “special touch” to the start of our Saturday evening. We will definitely be back again in the future, everything in the room and ensuite was sooo nice. I can’t fault anything about this establishment at all.
D. N.I was with a party of 6 adults and 2 children who celebrated birthdays for 2 of the adults at the Ritz -Carlton for high tea. First the good things. Because we were celebrating the birthdays, the adults were greeted with a glass of complementary champagne. Since we had two children they were given the option of a child's menu instead of paying for a high tea which was perfect for our group. The food was excellent. The first 'course' gave each person three savoury items, followed be scones jam and cream and finishing with three deserts. The two birthday girls were given a decorated plate with two very small chocolates but no candle. Tea and coffee were provided with this food which was the cheapest of the high tea options at $65. The service was friendly and adequate but below the 5 star we would have expected from such a hotel.
Now the bad news. The outfits worn by the staff were poor and uninspiring. The name "Ritz" conjures up elegant and memorable, but this was certainly not the case at this hotel. The worst was the ill fitting calottes worn by the female wait-people in the dining room. I am sure the designer presented wonderful sketches to the directors and would have looked good on super model figures, but not on 'ordinary' people. Every one at the table commented on this. The men looked a bit neater but not what you have expected from a world class establishment. Even the maître de didn't have his name badge straight. From the point of view of giving a good 'visual' impression I think the Ritz has some way to go.
Having said all that, the food was good and we had a good time.

c. r.This is the second time I have booked into the ritz Carlton every time the staff have been lovely this time we were served by Gopu Nayar and it was the best experience I have ever had whether it be a hotel or just in general, I walked away from the front desk feeling so happy it started our night on a great foot. Thank you to the lovely team will stay here time and time again just based on costumer service but it does help that the rooms are amazing!!

As a Bonvoy platinum member I’ve stayed in various top rated hotels In the world and Perth ritz is right up there with the above points, specially Considering the current climate with covid. The staff was also easily reachable on the Bonvoy app and have many non contact/ social distancing practices that obviously have been well thought through. Unfortunately due to covid some hotel services are not fully open and that’s understandable and we look forward to trying the full offerings hopefully in the near future. Keep up the great service.
