C. E.A beautiful gem hidden in the Fremantle Markets. The rooms are so cute with a rustic yet modern touch.
Our short stay came with the mini bar and 2 vouchers for the cafe/bar downstairs - a complimentary drink and breakfast for each day we stayed. A hotel worth the price.
R. R.What a fantastic little hotel, lots of history, beautifully restored whilst keeping the original elements and providing all the modern amenities you expect and more. In room on tap chilled, filtered water in both still and sparkling was a new one for me!
Everything is a bit quirky with the hotel fitting into the spaces available, so expect odd little turns and hidden little bits of interest. As an example the original outside windows are still in place, but modern double glazed sound insulated windows have been fitted on the inside of them, thoughtfully important for a hotel in the middle of Freo.
The staff in reception and the cute Gimlet bar were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, they were really happy to chat about the hotel and show off some of the nods to the 1800s layout like the different coloured paving that shows what the back yard layouts used to be like.
Unusually just about everything was included, the mini bar contents including the wine, beer and chocolate. An evening drink in Gimlet (great range of gins) and breakfast (good quality but limited to a continental style because of the tiny size of Gimlet), the on tap sparkling water, even a lime and a lemon on a little chopping board in the room were all included, a lot of other hotels could learn from that!
For standard hotel stuff, superb location right in the middle of Freo, quiet (due to the sound insulation), great bed and linen, large well appointed bathroom, will be back again 🙂
N. J.This was a mini staycation for our anniversary. We've been wanting to check it out since eating at Emily Taylor when it first opened. Amazing staff, beautifully renovated rooms with classic modern touches. We loved the sparkling water on tap and complementary mini bar. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Being in the heart of Freo, it was surprisingly quiet. Being so central, everything in Freo is walking distance away. We loved the little bar Gimlet, great cocktails and our morning coffee and pastries were on point. The team who created The Warders Hotel should be congratulated on bringing back such a special piece of Freo's history back to life. We will return very soon. Thank you
R. R.What a little home away from home! The cosiest, quietest, spaciest, stylish hotel you could think. Think of all the good parts of Freo and roll it into a hotel and this is what you get.
I can’t imagine the thought that went into the design and refurbishment of these little spaces, but boy did they hit the nail on the head. It’s so well thought out, utilised and respectful of the building’s history.
Everything from the fresh limes, to the sparkling water on tap, to the softest robes, to the floral arrangement in the cosy reception helps you to feel like you’re living in an absolute dream here.
Can’t wait to go again and make the most of this historic and beautiful hotel, centred right where you want to be in Freo.
f.Excellent location, beautiful room & decor, sparkling water on tap in the room (very cool), complimentary minibar. The room was quite & had blockout curtains, so it was easy to have a nice sleep in. Adjoining bar Gimlet was very handy, good wine, great service & then coffee & pastries in the morning. We will be back again.
D. R.Great location, easy walk to all points of interest in Fremantle. Loved the complimentary drinks and snacks in the room. Room was clean and comfy with really modern amenities. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Only reason for not giving 5* was the cost. It seemed a bit pricey!

Warders Hotel is doing "boutique" just as it should be. Understated, and luxurious.
The touches such as free in room mini bar, and complimentary drinks before dinner, this is an experience not to be .issued when visiting Freo.
S. J.Everything was perfect. We stayed one night and the room was perfect. Free minibar, sparkling and still water on tap and bed was super comfortable. There is a nespresso coffee machine and kettle for the first morning cuppa, before heading down to the Gimlet for complimentary Barista Coffee (large) and gorgeous pastry (we had a Portuguese tart). Service from all hotel staff was excellent, happy smiling friendly faces and cant do enough to help - special mention to Scarlett on front reception and morning waitress at the Gimlet.
Food and service at Emily Taylor was also exceptional - Delphine and Roxie - waitstaff were fantastic and food was on the table within 5 minutes of ordering. Once finished plates were collected within 1 minute.
Cant recommend the accommodation or the restaurant highly enough. Do yourself a favour and go :-)

L. M.Warders hotel was very epic it had cool water taps and it was cool, 4K TVs, very modern (from the inside) and well worth it, free mini bar with 2 beers, wine and a soft drink. Don't let the pictures fool you it's so much better than that.
