had my quarantine here. the room is nice and clean with a bathtub. the food was sometimes good but sometimes it's just a boiled and still raw chicken in salad which didn't taste much. checking out took long, theyre said the lift was constantly being used and i waited more 45 minutes in the hallway waiting for my turn. i had to tell the security person that i had a flight and then they quickly let me go.

Stayed for a weekend and it was excellent from day one. The staff are amazing, and the rooms are beautiful. Location is great also. Near shops and restaurants and walking distance to circular quay and darling harbour.

The Amora Hotel is in a great location, easy access to everything, Airport transfer to Wynyard station by train was easy, Hotel close to Wynyard Station and George Street Light Rail. Circular Key is within walking distance. The check in check out process is seamless with friendly staff. The rooms are clean, tidy and nicely appointed. They have a pool, sauna and gym on level three and a buffet breakfast on level one. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Hotel

The location is central
Rooms were a little out dated but clean and well stocked.
Nice to have a bathtub and a large seperate shower.
We got a good deal with our room it included parking and breakfast and a 4pm checkout.
Also a bottle of red wine and 2 bottles of water were given in the deal as well
Breakfast was adequate with enough choices.
Great value for a city 5 star motel
Definately recommend the Amora hote for a short stay.

Nice room high floor, bath tiles need replacing some missing in need of repair. Be warned after telling us they hold $50 on your credit card, they held $587 for over a week, we complained nobody called back we called 3 times and they just said its the system and they couldnt do anything about it. SO FIX YOUR SYSTEM, very angry.

Stayed at the Amora on Feb 12th. Great hotel, rooms were very good and hotel staff very good. Would recommend it as a place to stay but never book for dinner at the Croft Restaurant there, We booked for an early dinner at 6pm because we were going to the theatre. We left after an hour having only had an entree each because we were going to be late for the theatre. For most of the hour we were the only people in the restaurant apart from a couple of people who came towards the end of the hour. Unbelievably slow service , even after we asked if things could be speeded up because we had to leave soon. They totally forgot one entree and we had to reorder that as well. They didnt charge us for the entree and drinks in the end but that didn't take away from a ruined dinner .

Not up to their usual standard.Could be due to post Covid staff issues, specifically numbers & inexperienced new staff. Room was spacious and the bar was well priced at Happy Hour

The room we were in was a bit run down.
Overnight staff was terrible, ordered room service and toothbrushes and the food never came or was ordered. Toothbrushes came after complaining after over an hour.
Staff were lovely in the morning and apologised and even waved the mini bar costs due to the screw around however it did dampen the experience.

We were here in quarantine for 14 days and the experience was much better than we expected, thanks to Amora. The food was really good with generous portions and a great variety of different dishes and cuisines, albeit with some repetition in the second week. The staff at reception were super friendly and helpful, bringing up our deliveries very quickly, extra supplies and even printing out documents for us whenever we asked.
Of course, there were many limitations to the service, but that was driven by NSW quarantine rules rather than poor service by the hotel.
We consider ourselves very lucky to have been allocated to the Amora.
Thanks to all the staff who made our quarantine stay so bearable.

Was in isolation for 2weeks and it was a pleasant stay. Nice food and good view but not Harbour Bridge view as it was blocked by building in front of my room😭.

We hadn’t expected quarantine to be as good as this. Seriously the Amora hotel really looked after us, nothing was a bother to them (printing documents for us, delivering groceries, coffee etc). The hotel food was excellent only feedback was the portion sizes for lunch and dinner were huge which unfortunately meant some waste.
The room was fantastic - very large with wonderful view of Sydney sunny skies (now looking forward to getting out in the sun)
It was truly a great experience and thank the hotel staff for our last 2 weeks.

I spent 14 days in quarantine at the Amora Hotel recently and the whole experience was wonderful. The quarantine food and the service was excellent. The room was clean and modern. The view from the level 24 was awesome. They created a FB page for all the quarantine people to interact with each other which was very helpful. They also used to give away 10 free coffees every day which was bonus. My overall quarantine experience at this hotel was wonderful.

Excellent service nice rooms.
Excellent breakfast menu.

Very nice experience in a very good location friendly staff and a great buffet breakfast

Spent 14 days quarantine in this hotel, room was clean, spacious and have great views. Bathroom especially is huge with a big window just by side of bathtub. The beds are very very comfortable. Food menu is set for 7 days and starts repeating after that and it is not bad. The service was also quite good.

Covid quarantine Hotel. I was in Sydney last December (20) and this hotel is a huge improvement over the Novatel. Large room with separate lounge, even a view!

The team at Amora went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Food is excellent, and the beds are like sleeping on a cloud.

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care I received at Amora during my quarantine stay of 14 days. Food, Service, Staff, Armed Forces and Health Professionals were tremendous. Highly Recommended!
K. A.
From the first day to my last I was wonderfully taken care of by K.C and the Amora 'A-team'. Food, room and service was all outstanding and I look forward to visiting again in the future. The location is extremely central and is walking distance to lots of breweries, restaurants and shopping. Hotel food is very delicious if staying in and room service has good selections. Room and bathroom is very spacious. Rooms also have a mini fridge and kettle.

Me and my partner stayed at the Amora during quarantine and I cannot speak highly enough of the service and overall experience that was provided by KC and the team.
They were able to turn what could have been a long, monotonous 2 weeks, during Christmas and New Years, into an enjoyable time. Everything from the food, the room itself and the marketing's team way of keeping people engaged was first class.
Looking forward to staying at the Amora in the future, might even ask for our old room to reminisce!

Polite staff, good quality food, reasonable price. Excellent location,,all in all very satisfied.

Stayed here for 14 days! The staff were incredible and accommodating in such a strange situation! I can not recommend them more! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big and the bed is almost too comfey! Thank you AMora Jamison for making my stay as lovely as possible!
B. H.
Absolutely wonderful hotel and service! My wife and I are here for our mandatory hotel quarantine after returning from our life overseas, and Hotel Amora have made the quarantine process a breeze. The room we have is excellent (such a relief!) and the food is delicious and nutritious. They surprised us on our wedding anniversary with champagne and sweets, too - could not be happier. Wish I could add more stars to this review!! Thank you so, so much for making our return to Aus so easy. It means the world to the both of us.
H. T.
Best bed ever!! I haven't slept on such a comfortable bed, I thought mine was awesome but this one was amazing, I'll have to find out the manufacturer. I booked one night's accommodation here. Great location, done a lot of walking. Booked the car space online, under the hotel, through the parking website. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
C. B.
Had quarantine here and it was great. Honestly the food, staff, activities, and overall room was great and I couldn’t have asked for a better 14 days of hotel prison. I will definitely stay here again the future when visiting Sydney.
K. S.
We stayed here for our anniversary. The hospitality is great and we also received complimentary upgrade with champagne and sweets. The room was very comfortable and welcoming with great views. The location and rates is what made us select this hotel amongst other options. Good size pool and spa. Surely recommended. Thanks Amora for your lovely hospitality.

I arrived 5 days ago for quarantine I must say all the food has been excellent!
Good service and no issues with delivery.
I live close by but would recommend this hotel for corporate and for travelers.
Cozy and don't mind staying here longer if I have to!
S. A.
Currently still in quarantine at this hotel but I had to write this review and commend them for their service.
Quarantine is not easy, and given the volatility of the virus situation in Sydney, it makes it more challenging. I've heard horror stories about quarantine so was initially apprehensive.
Amora, however, have been fantastic. The room I'm in is immaculately clean and the bed is awesome. They are keeping us engaged with mini quizzes that comes with our lunches and supporting us, returning travellers, through simple gestures that means a whole lot. I'm initially bummed that I'm spending Christmas and NY alone in quarantine but the warmth from your team (albeit via door knocks and deliveries) is making it a tad easier to go through.
Thank you Amora! Will def opt to stay here again, post pandemic - in better times. For now, 11 days to go! 💪

We booked one night in a 5 star hotel.
On arrival we were met as the taxi pulled up and a door man took care of the suite cases and they were delivered to our room . Excellent service.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Went into the room which was very clean and tidy. However, there was lots of teak panelling and a fake leather headboard which made the room feel very out of date..
However the bathroom has recently been updated and was excellent.
Have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels and this doesn't quite reach the mark.

I spent 14 days in quarantine at the Amora Hotel recently and just want to congratulate all the staff on a job well done. I had read some reviews of other hotels whilst overseas, but was wonderfully surprised by what I found at the Amora. The food was excellent , that extra touch on Australia day was much appreciated with lamb shanks and hot dogs! The meals were always on time and nothing was a problem for the staff regards delivering beer or supermarket deliveries and everything, although I couldn't see any faces, I am sure was delivered with a smile. You made a necessary inconvenience enjoyable , Thankyou

Unfortunately in this hotel during a very trying quarantine, so can only comment on room which was adequate with a mattress that could spoil u 4life. I travel extensively & have only found 1other so comfortable in past 17years. Centrally located, close to harbour, light rail & railway stations
E. F.
I stayed here for quarantine and going into it, was very overwhelmed by the thought. Arriving at Amora, they had games, puzzles, and a Facebook page for all of us to be connected. The team was great and super helpful and I can not wait to stay again and use the full facilities. The way they treated me in quarantine was lovely and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Look, quarantine isn’t easy for any of us. Those having to do it and the people working at the hotel.
Considering all that the Amora has done an amazing job. A nice Facebook group to join where we got info and fun challenges. Great food made in house. It’s obviously not top quality, but for having to provide 400+ meals three times a day it was awesome. Healthy, fresh, and a good piece of protein and veggies with the meals. They always kept dreaded olives abs mushrooms out of my meals. I know other quarantine places gave lots of snacks which in theory sounded appealing, but really it was nice to have plenty but not too much to eat. When you only have your room to exercise in that’s not a bad thing!
Had a minor blip halfway through at linen change with missing some items, then getting items with old stains. Don’t get me wrong, they were clean, just old weird stains so I asked for new of those items which I got. (Altho the housekeeper was suspicious, lol)

Up: Great location, very close to tram station. Most comfortable bedding I've ever slept in. Great service.
Down: Occasionally there is a loud noise from vibrating water pipes, showing some age of the building. There is a large gap between toilet doors, which is very awkward. Room is small considering its price.
E. H.
Had mixed feelings overall. Stayed there for two weeks. Sometimes the service was 100% top class. And Sometimes the service was piss poor. I believe it might be for the staff who was working on the shifts. Overall I am satisfied.
A.
I love the location! The hotel is very close to everything! The room was clean and modern and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool is an indoor pool and was heated so we still enjoyed it in winter. They also had a jacuzzi, a dry and a wet sauna.
The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was we asked for an extra blanket but was given an old blanket with a hole and lots of hair!!! Not just a strand but pieces everywhere with one part with a whole clump stuck into the blanket fibers. Disgusting! The room service guy who came to our room never apologized but he gave us a new and clean blanket. I’d give the hotel a lower score but other friendly staff in the lobby made up for it.
Despite that one bad experience, I still recommend this hotel for its great location and facilities.
-No toothbrushes provided.. if you’re someone who expects a hotel to have one or two ready during your stay.
-universal adaptor provided (at least when I stayed)
-lots of power plugs

Nice place, however for 5 stars one would expect that the air conditioning be in a working condition. Had to spend the night without it dropping below 24oC in my room, only to then be told the following morning (after having to spend up to closing time in the pool just to keep cool the evening before) "I'll be honest with you, the whole hotel is like this at the moment."
Just be up-front and honest with your staying guests Amora!

We had a lovely night. We booked a deluxe corner king room and they put us on the 26th floor facing the harbour. We could see the harbour between the buildings. The bed was really comfy and plenty of space in the room. Nicely appointed bathroom with views from the bath. Definitely needed to close the curtains as our room faced east (even though we r early risers!)
J. A.
Super clean and comfortable hotel. I enjoyed my stay there. The place is very centrally located in Sydney. The concierge is very helpful. I loved the big buffet breakfast, which has something for each taste. The rooms are comfortable and the beads are soft, I had a good sleep.
P. S.
Good hotel at a a great location. Better than good but not over the top. It's a really good place to stay at the most convenient location. Rooms are generous in size, bathrooms well presented and very clean. Beds can be over soft 😏 but depends on taste. Never disappointed but not blown away. So one would have to say outstanding
A. J.
Staff were super friendly, and were super quick when you needed something for the room. Nice pool and spa area, as well as a pretty cool little gym area with a view. The hotel is super close to the train station as well as the tram station too
S. I.
Excellent amenities at the Hotel. Better than the other ones that I have stayed ealier in Sydney. Good place for the mandatory quarantine period.

We had an amazing stay here. It was a special occasion and there was champagne in our room on arrival. Staff were very attentive, location is fantastic (very close to Wynyard) and room was lovely. We also managed to leave some stuff behind at check out and they saved it for us. Overall I’d highly recommend this ad a well priced place to stay in Sydney.
M. G.
We book a king executive suite for our Anniversary and they end up upgrading our stay with a one bedroom suite with champagne and chocolates. Lovely hospitality and good service will definitely recommend this hotel. Only thing is the buffet breakfast say there will be a chef cooking omelette or poached eggs. There wasnt any chef and variety for the hot buffet is not many selections.
R. G.
Pretty good 5 star hotel. Room decent. Bathroom decent. They lost a star in this review by souring breakfast. Asking $2.50 extra for a proper coffee is just a cheap shot. No need for this at all and just turned the entire thing sour. Apart from this, difficult to fault
A. J.
We stayed here for a week over Xmas in a corner deluxe King room on the 26th floor. The views from both windows were amazing, especially at night. The best thing about this place is the staff, they are so friendly & helpful especially Justin in the bar and the restaurant manager
(Can't remember his name but he's from Holland)
Would definitely recommend this hotel

A little tucked away but always worth consideration. Good location. The rooms without views seriously have no views... We pulled the curtains when we arrived and left them closed because it was preferable to the building we looked out on.

Fantastic rooms, location, and cheerful staff. It's just a few blocks from the Circular Quay and the fabulous shopping areas. We were there at Christmas and had a wonderful time. Didn't try their restaurants due to the bad reviews I read, but it was convenient if you can afford it.
Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. All in all I'm very pleased to recommend this hotel :)

Reception is professional, and welcoming. Location is excellent. The corner King room with city views is very nice, it's got huge windows, modern smart TV, very nicely setup.
Mattress was ok, pillows and covers are clean and very comfortable. Everything inside the room worked, it was very clean and tidy.
I wish the towels where a little thicker but they are clean and ok.
Parking is underground and very tight but they offer valet parking. Also if your driving the street is a bit tricky to enter.
Well priced and highly recommended.

Amazing place for a day spa ! Very relaxing and worth the money. We did a couples body scrub, body wrap, massage and a facial. It was so worth the 3 hours !! Self pampering and self care is what you need in this busy life !

Fantastic hotel loved it from moment we arrived, treated well and staff are very friendly and felt like home. Location is perfect to circular quay, Barangaroo precinct etc Thank you we highly recommend this hotel for anyone deciding to stay in city the facilities here are amazing. We will come back
M. J.
This is a very nice hotel and place to stay in Sydney. I enjoyed the helpful staff and their attitude towards the guests is second to none. Breakfast is varied, although when the restaurant was busy the staff were very pushed and some items were slow to be replenished. I suggest not enough staff were employed on these days. This is a management issue. I stayed for 14 nights and was sad to leave.
S. B.
Clean place. Spacious room. Beds are soft such that one sinks in (most unusual and not entirely comfortable) and pillows are voluminous (though you can ask for different ones). Other thank these two criticisms, hotel is fab. Spectacularly quiet. Fast lifts and great location.
M. S. W.
Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay at this hotel. It's very central and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We got good help from the staff and we didn't meet any problems during our stay. For those of you who like a little sweat on your holiday I must say that the fitness room is very small. Other than that it's a very nice hotel.
A.
The girl that checked me in was unbelievably rude - very hostile & confrontational. The facilities were great. In the restaurant $27 for one piece of pork belly is a joke but the duck dish was absolutely outstanding. Beds are very comfortable.
B. N.
We were very happy with the Amora for our stay in Sydney. The room was clean and modern, and we loved the indoor pool and adjacent sauna/steam room. The hotel is conveniently located, with great restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores just a short walk away. It was also easy to get here from the airport via the train, so no driving required.
M. N.
Everything was great. Staff was nice and informative. Rooms were clean and tidy. Pool was crystal clear as well. The only downside was the bed was a bit too soft for me and the pillows were a bit too high. They do have an option to request different pillows though so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
m.
Stayed 2 nights while visiting Sydney. Great location & comfortable room. Pool was a bonus. Staff friendly.
Never understand with internet banking & an Australian credit card I am still waiting 10 days for refund of security deposit.
Was also charged for a conversion plug pack even though none in room or not needed. Guests beware of these hidden charges.

After leaving another hotel we were having a terrible experience with we booked into the amora the day of. It was fantastic. Everything was sparkling clean. Despite not being in a wheel chair we were given a wheel chair accessible room. Although this did not bother us one bit. In fact it was great to see that they actually had rooms like this. The beds were so soft. Like sleeping on a cloud. Good tv. Great shower. Just hands down amazing. The breakfast was delicious. I couldn’t of asked for a better hotel. We will be back!!

We hit the quarantine jackpot with the Amora Hotel Jamison. Amazing staff, room and even the quarantine food! Can’t wait to to come back as a ‘real’ customer. Special shout out to the marketing team for making our days in iso way more bearable!
M. M.
Really lovely hotel, service was excellent. Beds were really comfortable and rooms and facilities clean. Staff were always on hand when needed and opened the doors every time we were bringing in bags etc. I dropped one star as the in house food menu can be crazy expensive, otherwise top notch!
t.
Really nice hotel with a good location, just off George St and very close to most areas. Would like to note I am writing this on my first night at the Amora. From the moment we got out of our airport transfer, the staff were really friendly and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble. Really lovely lady loaded our luggage onto a trolley and after confirming our room number took it straight up to our room and had started unloading into our room. I have never had this level of service at previous hotels. Well done. We received a complimentary room upgrade to a corner room on the top floor, however it didn't include access to the Jamison Club as it would normally if you booked the room type which would have been nice, save purchasing breakfast which is $34 for the full buffet. The view is pretty good though, we can see the Heads, Circular Quay (between two buildings) and Darling Harbour. Love the large TV in the room that pivots to enable you to watch in bed.
B. H.
Staff were very helpful, always smiling, opened the doors for you took the bags up to your room straight from the taxy. We only stayed one night but will definitely stay here again in the future when visiting Sydney. We also dinned in the restaurant which was basically empty, only one other couple where in there. The staff were just as good in the restaurant and the food was also brilliant. We had the steak and lamb. Yum.
V. H.
Didn't actually stay but fantastic customer service. They took the initiative to call me and offer free cancellation for my booking (even though made through a third party as non-refundable and already paid in full) prior to COVID-19. Will be back when we can travel again to visit family!

Couldn't be happier with our stay, overall. Well appointed hotel, professional stuff who are comfortable enough in their jobs that they're not stuffy (hard to find in a hotel this highly rated), spacious room, we had a great view, the bathroom is roomy and the bed is oh so comfortable. We also had dinner and drinks one night (delicious! The bar food came fresh and in generous portions. Cocktails were served promptly and had a nice balance of flavours), the buffet breakfast ($40 rack rate, and a good spread, but not anything above what you'd expect for this kind of establishment and price), and spent some time in the pool (clean and pretty with a warm and bubbly spa and two types of sauna). Only two tiny pieces of constructive criticism - the balance of water pressure to drain rate / shower basin is not quite right, and if the shower is at full strength (while very relaxing) water will end up everywhere in the bathroom. And the towels are tiny.
R. K.
A clean and comfortable stay (bed and pillows to die for) but service needs to step it up a notch (concierge the exception, they were always attentive and polite). Very disappointed on the second morning (a Sunday) when I was woken by (not at all quiet) housekeeping staff cleaning the room adjacent to ours at 7.45am. They were chatting to each other, vacuuming and cleaning the bathroom with the door open for us to hear...robbing my husband and I of a sleep in on our child free break away.
Overall a pleasent stay but at a 5 star rating, I expected a bit more.
A. R.
Amazing king size bed in a nice quiet and comfortable room in a great area.
Unfortunately, the prices for some room service items are pretty steep - almost $40 for a green chicken curry is too much no matter how much you earn. They seem to have normalised the price structure, which really doesn't work. However, the food we did order (burgers) was delicious and not priced too highly, considering.
Bathroom was also very nice and all staff were lovely.
Overall would very much recommend for a pampered stay when you're feeling flush.
S. K.
Service was fabulous service and friendly, understanding, courteous and polite staffs
A. C.
It's clean, Friendly and the breakfasts are delicious. It has a large array of food. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable. Their rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. Definitely a good place to stay.
T. M.
An outstanding hotel experience from beginning to end. The service, cleanliness and quality of my room (sized more like a suite), and hotel location were simply excellent. My check-in and out were timely and smooth and other front lobby …
b. f.
Friendly and professional staff, delicious food, comfortable seats. Some guests were watching rugby in the pub next to the dining area with no separation in between. Their cheerings caused disruption in the otherwise quiet and relaxing dining area.
a. b.
Best customer service, I have ever experienced. They tick every box for wary traveler. They are passionate, empathetic and most of all available to assist you at a moment of notice.
Our room was on a high floor with amazing view. The bed was super comfortable and amenities just amazing.
There breakfast is too good to be true, and the location perfect to explore Sydney.
You cannot go wrong with this Hotel.
P. H.
Nice Hotel. We had a king suite. Thanks for the upgrade Amora! Nicely appointed, very clean and tidy. Average view (into Wynyard park). Was $58 to park overnight. I'd definitely stay there again.
R. P.
We booked the room as a mystery 4 star hotel in Sydney. The entrance to the parking station was a bit on the tight side and guest parking was difficult to distinguish. The staff though were very friendly and the room was clean and everything worked. The bed was comfortable and the room had good seating and desk area. We had a full bath in the bathroom which was a bonus. Would very happily stay there again.
S. G.
My first stay here. Very nice hotel. The breakfast spread is amazing. Room was nice, spacious, comfortable. Downside, the exhaust fan overhead the bath was terribly dirty. Probably not cleaned out in months. The complimentary coffee, sugar n milk sachets were not supplied regularly, and we had to call and request every morning. However they were quickly sent.
The major dampener was the lady at the reception on the evening of checkin. Our room had breakfast included. When we reconfirmed the same with her she was curt, stiff, unfriendly and stressed that it was only for TWO people whereas our booking clearly stated we were 2 adults and a child.
She kept on saying we had to go to the restaurant next morning, and ask the manager there. We don't mind that someone wouldn't know, but at least they can offer to help in getting to know. We thought of complaining but decided against name and shame. The otherwise lovely Amora Jamison in our opinion can try to overcome this attitude.
M.
I booked the deluxe corner king room the night before getting on a cruise (which is a 10 minute walk to overseas passenger terminal) and it was amazing! Check in was smooth, front desk was extremely nice, and the room/view was amazing. To see a room tour, please see my YouTube channel: Morgancita video: Royal Caribbean South Pacific & Fiji Cruise Part 1.

Stayed here for 3 nights over a busy weekend, everything was made easy for us when being checked in 2 hours early. Room was spacious and comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous with a huge shower and bathroom.
Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic luxury hotel in the heart of downtown Sydney. The rooms are very well appointed, beds soft and comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious and include a tub and separate shower. The staff has been extremely helpful and courteous, from registration to concierge. Breakfast is quite good and filling. Easy (<20 minute) walk to the harbor bridge, opera house, and other downtown sites. Highly recommend staying here if it meets your budget.
C. P.
Stayed on a Saturday night for just one night to crash in the city. Good location, less than 5 minute walk from Wynyard station. Room facilities were great and room was very clean. There are limited tv channels, but we didn't stay in the room long so that wasn't an issue. Very comfortable bed and the complimentary breakfast included was delicious. Would stay again.
m. g.
Hotel location is excellent, Rooms are good, quiet. Room service and hospitality can be improved a lot and not up to the mark of 5star hotel. Need to request for complimentary drinking water also. Front office staff are not flexible, stub born and don't know many details like phone call charges. All these things could be improved for longer business relation ship.
R. N.
The location is great. It's a 10 minutes walk from circular quay. Room is modern and furniture and fittings function well and looks great. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable (we were there on NY eve and they were up to date on road closure information.) Parking is expensive but there are cheaper secured parking a block away.
R. G.
Stayed here twice this year now and been great both times. Excellent CBD location not far from Circular Quay. Spacious and very comfortable rooms/beds with no noise at all from outside. Friendly staff and good facilities.
M. R.
Location was great, staff were helpful. We paid for the corner room standby which was $44 extra so we got good views which was nice. We had 3 of us in the room but everything was only catered for 2 people - towels ect. But we did get a early check in which sorta cancels that out. My main dislike was the bed. It was advertised as a king size bed and it was in a way but in reality it was two king singles pushed together which was restricting in how the bed was used. I also didn't like the shower head in the shower. Overall if you got the room cheap like we did it's an alright stay but I wouldn't have been very happy paying full price ($250~)

Disappointing, did not live up to the 5 star rating we were expecting. Reception staff were a little bit blunt and not overfriendly. Cleaning staff woke us at 7.45 Sunday morning, outside our room chatting and laughing, cleaning the room next door with the door open, we could hear everything. We have never experienced this in any other 5 star hotel in Sydney.Food was good, friendly serving staff. Don't know if I'll go back again.

Very clean and well maintained hotel in downtown Sydney. The employees are very friendly and courteous. Our room was on the 8th floor, it had a king bed which was very comfy, in-wall TV, closet with robes and sandals, safe, iron and board. There is a small fridge stocked with alcoholic beverages, sodas and water. The bathroom has a separate shower and tub, very roomy.
J. S.
Beautiful, immaculate rooms. The spa is a great amenity, and the room service and mini bar fees are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is just fabulous, an easy walk to Circular Quay, the Opera House and other famous landmarks. Would highly recommend.
E. E.
Thank you Amora for the wonderful quarantine stay. I am very grateful for the hospitality, daily competitions, and good food!
L. G.
The Amora Jamison would have to be one of the best hotels i have stayed at. The staff were humble and welcoming. The room was spacious with a nice modern feel. They accommodated all request made without hesitation. One of the biggest selling points though has to be their beds, once you lay down you never want to get back up.
J. C.
The concierge and reception were extremely helpful and happy to do so. Our room was impeccable and the view overlooking darling Harbour was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone needing a getaway.
M. T.
A great experience from arrival to departure. Friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a lovely room with a great view. At breakfast they were kind enough to allow our two children to eat for free and then when I was paying for breakie upon checkout the receptionist only charged me $50 for two full breakfasts instead of $80- he said it was to wish us a happy new year. The location is excellent, right near Wynard train station and not far from Circular Quay. Beds are really soft and comfortable
M. B.
Location is a little hard to find - GPS struggles amidst the tall buildings, signage is small and the entrance is on a tiny back street. The rooms are nice enough, maybe a little small. The views are obstructed. The bathroom interior is new, but my god the bathroom doors are airy and lacking privacy/sound reduction. Not much closet space. No washing machine or dryer facilities in the building.
S. L.
Amora Hotel is quite close to Wynyard station via Woolworths Metcentre walkway. The room is perfect for its amenities and facilities. It's clean and tidy with large bathroom and comfortable King-sized bed. The tariff is also quite reasonable considering it's situated in CBD area with easy train access and future light rail access on George Street.
G. P.
Five stars for an excellent 5* hotel.
Amora Jamison is a great hotel in the CBD close to Circular Quay and the Rocks. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and large. The staff is friendly and attentive.
I can also recommend the breakfast.
There is only one aspect that must be improved: the size of the gym. However, this has no impact on the overall rating as the stay was excellent.
J. K.
The hotel is in a very central location. Close to just about everything. The tools are very nice and have extremely comfortable beds, blackout blinds, in room spa service, separate bath and shower, and plenty of space. The staff has been extremely pleasant and helpful.
M. L.
Very comfy bed! Good location with easy walking within the city. Big bathroom. Unobstructed city view. Great AV options with device connectivity. All staff were friendly and professional.
D. L.
Lovely location in the centre of Sydney where it would be easy to get anywhere in Sydney. Rooms were fresh and clean, however the standout was the bathroom with an actual free standing bath. Such luxury. Bed was comfortable, and there was a rather large screen tv. Very nice hotel.
R. D.
This is a really nice hotel. Very conveniently located in Sydney CBD. Unfortunately my room wasn't clean. Carpet need both vacuuming and spot cleaning from dropped food by an earlier guest. I ordered a room service burger and specified no onion but the meat patty was full of onion. I stayed 4 days and never once saw the elevator request buttons clean of very noticeable finger marks. Staff very helpful. Hotel cleanliness is not up to standard.
L. N.
This is from a life time Titanium Elite MARRIOTT BONVoY review about this hotel, first time stay here due to 14 days lock down. i was surprised that i ask for some ices to the room, hotel said they dont have this kind of service, hotel ask to use the fridge to chill the drink...oh do the hotel understand the different between the cold drink and the drink to have with ice...and this hotel being grate a 5 star hotel...dial 9 with the answer no ice to the room ....
E. N.
I book the Amora Hotel event space a few times throughout the year. The staff are always very professional and accommodating to last-minute requests. The space is really well-presented and they treat their customers really well. Love using this venue space.
E. C.
By far one of the greatest places I've stayed in. The receptionists were all lovely and super welcoming upon arrival. The room itself was amazing, the views were lovely, bath tub was incredible, and the bed was very comfortable. It is also the perfect location for being able to explore many of Sydney's attractions by foot, such as the Sydney Harbour bridge, and Opera house, of which is only a short distance away. If you are wanting a luxurious get away I would highly recommend Amora.
S. S.
Decent 5 Star hotel in the heart of SydneyCBD. We really enjoyed the spa even though the steam room could do with some renovations. Room was very nice and the staff was friendly. The buffet breakfast had tasty food but the range could be improved especially given the price point.
E. A.
Large rooms are actually fairly small per American standards. Internet/Wi-Fi was spotty and pretty slow. Service was top notch and friendly, except housekeeping was not as good as one would hope (obviously dirty sheets not cleaned) and kept having to request more face cloths and towels. Another oddity was not being able to carry drinks from the bar to the room. If you are able walk, I suggest not renting a car. A majority of the tourists sites are in reasonable walking distance and parking is expensive everywhere.
T. M.
The rooms at this establishment are nothing short of pure excellence. The location was central to all the functions we needed to get to. Excellent staff and service at check in and Jamison Club. The breakfast was good but the ambience would have been great if the staff has put up a smiling look.
E. B.
It was easy to get to location wise. Close to public tranaport. The rooms were beautiful. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The food was nice, a little expensive, but nice. Overall a lovely experience. Very relaxing.
C. W.
Great location within walking distance to most of Sydney’s attractions. Staff friendly room cleaned daily. We were very pleased to be offered an upgraded room from level 5 to the top level 34 with a great view if we didn’t mind waiting another 5 minutes. Of course movies, food and drinks were not complimentary (aside from tea/coffee) but this is expected at such a hotel anyway.
C. S.
Conveniently located, modern, and well trained staff make this hotel a good choice. Easy to walk to trains and Circular Quay. The rooms are well equipped with nice furniture and bathrooms. The only major downside is the fitness room being very small and lacking free weights. They need to upgrade that area.
P. W.
The rooms were very beautiful. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful on our stay giving us good directions to any place we wanted to go in Sydney. Free WiFi was a huge plus. Would stay here again if we were to visit
B. Z.
Great service overall, facilities were beautiful and the spa is an experience to go back for. The only negative was one night my wife asked for an extra blanket and doona from room service, and the boy who brought them up had this incredulous smirk on his face and kept rolling his eyes. Apart from that, we had a good experience overall
M. T.
Loved it would recommend :)
Amazing staff , great room service desserts beautifully designed rooms and bar & not to pricy .
The rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfortable.
Thank you for having me :).
G. B.
You can score great value deals here for this full service five star hotel that's just not quite at the high end. facilities are great, plenty of stuff around all the time. A great location close to famous bars and restaurants and close to Circular Quay. I've been enjoying this hotel through all 3 brandings since it opened about 1998.
A. A.
Nice room. Good size. Terrific views on level 28. 👌 Only problem was, there was way too much give in the mattress on the bed. It was hard to roll out of or get up from the bed because when you lie down and sink into it. I imagine some couples will find some activities rather challenging in those beds. Haha
K. K.
I was pretty impressed with all the tech in the room including audio in the bathroom, Bluetooth, smart TV, etc. The pool is also nice clean and cute. The booking is expensive but not as expensive as a lot of other hotels and it's very comfortable. I would totally stay there again
D. H. G.
Worn down rooms incl. Bathrooms. View was an office building 5m from our window so had to have closed curtains all day and night. Not well cleaned rooms, found a lot of hair on the carbet. Friendly staff. Very nice new pool.
C. F.
My Wife and myself, had our 10th wedding anniversary here. Not only did we get an awesome room, the bed was the most comfortable that I have ever had at a Hotel. They treated us like stars and helped give us a very rare these days night away. Thank you to all the staff at the Amora, we will be back.
C. T.
Comfy bed and pillows, quite, and great room service. Fitness centre and the pool were really nice, as was the free breakfast and concierge. Will stay again.
I. R.
I love this place. The beds are super luxurious. I just wish they would offer cheaper parking like $30 for over night and not $65. Food is great, lots of facilities and close to everything m.
B. M. S.
Very luxurious and tidy hotel!
Professional staff and nice facilities!
Rooms have great views of the city and the wifi was super fast!
Comfortable bed and good air conditioning!

beautiful motel, great location right next to George St in the CBD. rooms are amazing, some of the top floor rooms are stunning. extremely professionally managed, staff are fantastic. beautiful breakfast and meals, this motel has special touches that makes you feel very welcome. love staying here.
A. A.
Great for a mini break in the city. Good quality rooms for a very reasonable rate. The staff were very helpful. Excellent location, close to CBD shopping and entertainment and only a couple of blocks from the Harbour and the Rocks district.
M. C.
This hotel is very nice, quiet and clean. It is right in the CBD.
The only remark I would do is the price for a breakfast. $30 for a continental breakfast and $40 for an English one. I reckon it is a fairly high rate.
A. W.
Facilities were beautiful and the spa is an experience to go back for. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location is just fabulous. An easy walk to many attractions. Overall, we had
a wonderful stay.
S. L.
Great value and location. Super soft bed and spacious bathroom.
Pool and spa were also great.
The coffee in the morning downstairs was excellent.
A. M.
Excellent service! I came to stay for a business trip and my stay was very comfortable. The hotel staff are exceptional and make the stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and I highly recommend it.
A. b.
Fantastic and friendly staff. Very comfortable beds and lovley and clean rooms. Great for children as the pool is a hit. Fantastic city views from my room.
A. B.
I booked in for a body scrub, massage and facial in the day spa and it was the best day spa experience I have ever had, 150 minutes of pure bliss! If you are considering it, do it! you will not be disappointed!
S. T.
Neatly tucked away between george & york streets this hotel is a hidden gem. We had a double room which was ample size for a family of four. We paid $15 extra to be given a room on the higher levels which was worth it for the views. Would highly recommend and we will be back
M. S.
Exceptional value with some great attention to detail. Beds and pillows very comfy. Love that this hotel has gone digital and so there is plug and play for all your digital needs in the room.
C. B.
My first visit to Australia and I have to say I really like it. The country has a great dignity about it and the people are polite and friendly.
The Amora doesn't feel like a 5-star hotel. It's more like a greedy 4 star, to be honest.
We arrived at 9 pm after a 20-hour flight and were told to take a walk for half an hour because the rooms were not ready. No upgrade or effort to make right - nothing!
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The AC works well and the nice deep bath is a welcome addition to the room. The policy of scattering the contents of the minibar around the room to try and tempt you to spend ten bucks on a chocolate bar is vulgar and cheap.
The price of breakfast is a disgrace. It's $40 each which means for a family of 4 you are looking at $160 a day for breakfast. This is not just expensive it is HIGHLY offensive.
WIFI is free but it's slow and there is no option to upgrade. So if keeping in touch with your business is important to you - avoid this hotel.
Staff are generally friendly but sadly I would not stay here again.
J. L.
Great location, fantastic service, and very good wifi. Spent two nights pre cruise and would love to have stayed longer. Easy walking distance to both Darling Harbor and Circle Quay.
T. M.
The lady at front desk were nice to us and explain everything in detail. Staff were friendly and welcoming and willing to answer questions. We were in a deluxe king room on the 16th floor. I could not fault anything about my stay at the Amora and have raved about it since leaving.
T. L.
Excellent location right in the middle of Sydney's CBD. Walking distance to the rocks, darling harbour, botanical gardens, QVB. Staff are very polite and helpful and it's reasonably priced got the location. Bathroom was nice and clean, comfy bed, black out curtains. Would definitely stay here again.
H. Y.
The cleaning lady kept insisting to keep cleaning our room even though we said we didnt want it. Some might say it is a invasion of privacy but she was very handy as we needed more soap and body wash. The air vents were broken on our first night and was dangling down from the ceiling and it was fixed the next day when we told the reception on our first night. Reliable place to stay in CBD Sydney but I dont think I will be coming to Sydney :( as the city itself is a letdown
N. K.
The location of the hotel is great, 5 mins from Wynyard station, 10-15 mins circular quay, and 15-20 mins from darling harbor. It is also very close to Martin place, which has buses that go to beaches like Coogee and Bondi (Coogee Bondi coastal walk).
I think the hotel is on the older side, but the renovations made it more modern. We stayed in the deluxe king room on the 18th floor. The carpet, and the wardrobe are a bit old/dated. But bed frame (the mattresses are probably due for new ones, they "sink"), bedding and the bathroom are new and modern.
When we arrived, our drying towels smelled a bit, but since we are so tired from our flight, we just used it. But other then that, our stay was good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a small pool, steam room and sauna. Which we have used few times, after a long day out and about.
We will definitely return, and recommend Amora to our friends and family.
A. K.
love our stay here, rooms are clean and beautiful, its our no. 1 pick for sydney cbd stay every time , very cost effective as well
2nd time stay - did not give any complementary water, charged for 1 extra night valet parking ( though refunded on asking ) , did not provide all the necessary bathroom stuff - shower cap, sanitary bag. It really lowered its standards from last time so changing 5 stars to 3 stars
P. L.
Spacious room family friendly hotel
Most of the hotel in Sydney CBD won't allow 2 children and 2 adults in one standard room, but when we book this is one of the few hotel allow that so we booked for our vivid night out.
Room is big enough for 4 of us (2 & 4 years old) and beds are comfy
Breakfast was nice with good quality food
A. J.
Great hotel and customer care. I had to cancel my booking due to personal reasons and even though I booked a non refundable room, they still cancelled the room. Great service will book again.
A. D.
Very relaxing place to stay. 5-7pm happy hour was great before dinner, and a perfect location for the best parts if the city especially at night. 2 minute walk from circular quay, the rocks, restaurants and bars.
Will stay again :)
T. M.
I have a big family & the services at this Motel was unbelievable We all felt like we were in a castle. Location wise it is a easy 20 minute walk to Darling Harbour and 10 minute walk to Circular Quay. High floor rooms can give you a great view of the city.
N.
Stayed here for a weekend and checking was seamless and we were able to checkin a few hours really. Checkout was just the same and just simple and easy. The staff were wonderful and made the stay pleasant. Will recommend and stay here again the next time I have a night in the cbd.
K. S.
This was our third stay at the Amora, the first being more than 10 years ago! It is a really lovely hotel. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable, and the service is good.
N. M.
Not sure who came up with staffing the venue with police and defence force personel but it worked. My free 2 week stay was enjoyable and noone seemed to be acting up when everyone you talk to is armed. 9 or of 10 covids. Would quarantine again.
j. m.
Worst WiFi I've ever experienced. Kicks you out every 15 seconds or so. Reception needs to work on it's customer service skills. Comfortable rooms, though.
J. J.
Dining options have gone off badly over the years we have been staying here. Saturday night was $200 for 2 but it fairly ordinary, slightly over spiced
with exception of chilli chips which were just ordinary fries and meals were not hot. By all means stay here but eat out.
Concierge and parking very very good
I and the even if you parki nggoodng very good as

Attended the hotel for a professional event. Ballroom was in great condition, nice fitout, and good space for a speaking event. The staff are friendly and the food/drink service quality and attentive. Would go again.
A. W.
Great hotel location, walking distance to Chinatown, Circular Quay. Clean, spacious, modern room. Nice deep bath tub and separate shower in the bathroom. Bed was clean and sheets were very comfortable.
E. K. C.
After much research for my first trip to Sydney, I decided The Rocks - with it's central location, architecture and rich history - was the ideal neighborhood to stay in. After scouring AirBnB's limited inventory, I did a quick search for hotels and was thrilled to see a deal on the 5 star Amora Hotel in The Rocks area. The hotel was visible from the Wynyrd station and just a few short minutes walk. The doormen/lobby/service upon checking in was wonderful, and the woman at the front desk gave us a room on a higher floor so we could have a better view (though the view is completely obstructed by an enormous office building across the street, which is my only complaint - blocked all visibility of the skyline and was usually occupied by people who could easily see into our room any time of day with the windows open). The room was clean and well stocked, the bed was super comfortable, and he daily cleaning service was trustworthy. We also booked a couples massage through the spa which was lovely (a bit pricey, but it was a special occasion) and open until 8PM which was very convenient. The location was overall superb - walking distance to Central Quay, the Rocks, the Sydney Harbour Bridge (where we got engaged during our stay!), lots of restaurants, shopping, and walking tours. Would not hesitate to recommend the Amora to anyone.
T. M.
We had an excellent stay at the Amora Jamison Sydney. We had a fab room on the 34 floor. Their staff are very friendly and accommodating to any need you may require. The location was perfect too it was a short walk to Darling Harbour and the main city center.
M. J. G.
awesome location, right in the middle of everything Sydney. easily walkable to opera house, harbour bridge, and Sydney tower. enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar. staff very attentive and courteous, room very comfortable and clean. highly recommended!
R. L.
Well-located hotel straddling the CBD and The Rocks. 5 minutes walk to Circular Quay and it's fantastic ferries. Smart rooms with super soft beds, a pillow menu with different levels of firmness, and a nice pool and gym as well. Rooms come with large bathtubs and adequate showers as well.
L. W.
Awesome hotel that borders many cool areas in Sydney. You can hop onto the train/subway or walk to Chinatown within 20 minutes so things really aren't that far from here.
The hotel staff are excellent, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are huge! I'd stay here again if I came back to Sydney. There are a lot of food options close to the area as well.
T. H.
Super impressed by this excellently located hotel. Friendly helpful staff, well sized room with a view of the park (in the Deluxe Park Suite) and exceptionally clean and well serviced.
M. M.
We ended up in a rather nice room for the second night of our two night stay after having serious problems with water pressure and water temperature in our first room. The staff are very pleasant and the location is good but the rooms are getting a little tired.
M. B.
Great location, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Great choice at breakfast, really friendly staff. Will definitely return.
c. P.
My husband is in lockdown there now. The room is great, food is very nutritious (though a microwave in the room would be great to re-heat some of the meals when they arrive.
S. R.
Great location, walking distance to both Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. Room was nice, loved the shower and the tub, big soft bed. Would definitely stay again.
T. I.
Great Christmas Day Lunch, not too expensive considering it was on Christmas Day. Huge selection of foods in a beautiful buffet style presentation. Pity it was only half full this year, perhaps because the drink wasn't included this year apart from a welcoming glass of sparkling!
S. B.
5 stars for a 5-star hotel. We stayed in a Suite which was absolutely huge. Very comfortable bed, beautiful bathrooms and a lovly view from the lounge room to the Wynard. I would absolutely recommend staying here.
J. L.
The hotel was a great experience and I was able to get a great view of the city. The room was also spacious. The staff were friendly and polite.
Y. M. L.
Great location, beautiful room, love the staff! For the price, I would highly recommend coming here! It's an easy walk to the most recognizable scenes (OperaHouse, Bridge, Darling Harbour) and around a great food scene! Everything you need from a great hotel!
L. M.
I was pleasantly surprised by Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney. It wasn't a hotel normally on my company's 'stay here' list. After my recent experience, it will definitely feature on the list.
Amora has a brilliant location. It in the CBD, which is great for us business travellers, and is a 10 minutes easy stroll to the harbour bridge, opera house and the beautiful Quay.
My room was lovely and quiet, my bed so comfy. The second door between the entrance and the sleeping quarters blocked out all light.
I had the best sleep I've ever had while on a business trip.
I'll definitely be staying here again.
K. F.
The Amora staff are looking after us in quarantine. Awesome rooms, food and service. Couldn’t be more comfortable. Cheers!
R. B.
Very nice rooms, great location. Property has a new feel, and is well maintained. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Near many restaurants, and attractions.
D. F.
Hidden costs ($7 surcharge for room service) , was there for a corporate meeting, advised I didn't have to give my credit card for security but they still charged my credit card for the 1 night stay. Had to contact my head office to have refunded. RECEPTION STAFF DID NOT WANT TO LISTEN. No soap dish in the shower had to put soap on the floor
T. M.
I must make mention of the extra yardage my In room Dining staff member Olivia took to make me feel comfortable. For the small extra cost it was well worth being up among the clouds. We are hoping to come back again next year and this time bring our teenage daughters with us.
C. B.
The Amora Hotel is amazing!! Very modern and stylish rooms, and the inclusion of modern amenities (usb charging ports, audio/video connectons...) As that extra touch. The staff were excellent - polite, professional, accommodating, and friendly. This is our preferred hotel when staying in downtown Sydney.
D. Y.
The guest facilities here were top notch, including an indoor pool, spa, steam room, and sauna. The on-site restaurants were expensive and there are better options nearby. The room was clean and kept up well, and the bed was comfortable.
A. T.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Amora Jamison last night to celebrate our 10th anniversary and we loved every minute of it, the staff were great and very accommodating they gave us a free upgrade with a bottle of champagne and chocolates. The hotel was beautiful and the room they put us in was just so devine. We had the breakfast buffet the next morning and it was one of the best breakfast buffets i have ever had..
N. M.
Very nice. Very soft beds. Robes and slippers in the closet. There was no coffee pot in the room but there are a lot of cafes in the area to go to.
S. M.
The Amora is of a consistently high standard. When travelling for business, it's my first choice in Sydney. Central location, great room service menu after a long day, very comfortable rooms.
l. d.
Nice hotel with friendly staff service. Can relax in first floor looking out at the busy life in city. Buffey style food available, restaurant may need to pre book. Function room looks grand, with a fee different size to choose from to hire.
Toilet clean and nice, seating to relax in is comfy.
Located so close to train station and Martin place it's perfect if you need to stay in Sydney CBD for business.
J. S.
We went there for a group meeting. The hall was big and luxurious. Staffs were friendly, cupcakes and finger foods were delicious. The venue suitable for wedding and birthday party.
K. R.
I had the forest mushroom bruschetta for my appetiser, pumpkin risotto as my main and a trio of dessert to end my supper. I had a pleasant meal and to top that off was very friendly and hospitable staff, where they asked me how was the meal after I finished my main was really a plus!
C.
Great room, very friendly staff, good location. The mattress was very soft, which is ok for us, but if you prefer a harder mattress, that might be an issue.
T. M.
Chose the Amora Hotel through its combination of location and value for money. The kids and dad had a ball, its walking distance to restaurant the quay and westfield. Upon arriving at the hotel our bags were taken care of out of the cab and …
K.
From the very warm welcome given to us, from the front door and reception staff on our arrival to the attentive staff in the dining room all added to our very comfortable stay at the Amora Hotel.
I would highly recommend this top end hotel.
J. B.
Beautiful hotel in perfect location to see the sites of the city. Really close walk to the Harbour, the rocks and the bridge. Perfect location for new years. Staff are wonderful, rooms lovely and breakfast sensational.
R. M.
The Amora Hotel Jamison is a lovely, private establishment, nestled in the northern central end if Sydney CBD. Check in was a breeze and the park suite was lovely, with plenty of space, gorgeous king size bed and generous free standing bath. Service was excellent and checkout surprisingly swift. Would definitely visit again.
D. L.
Room was clean and comfortable. Minor nitpicks with the bathroom layout (i.e. Tray for amenities had gaps too wide to contain soap/shampoo caps, no towel racks nearer to shower).
M. R.
My experience of Amora was at a corporate/business function, at which I was presenting. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were extremely professional, flexible and responsive. Everything was premium: the food, the equipment, the presentation.
I. G.
The old saying, you paid for what you get!. So the price is more than others, but the staff where wonderful and helpful. The bed was OMG good....And the same for the bathroom.
Location ideal for the Rocks and inner CBD. Train station only 2 mins walk.
A. S.
Beautiful hotel, great location. Really disappointing breakfast though. My poached eggs where hard, my husbands omlette was tasteless and the fruit juice wasn't fresh. We love our food so this was a huge downfall to an otherwise great hotel
P. C.
Quarantine Hotel. It's rated 5 stars. Have a balcony but I don't think I am allowed to use it. Pity. I will check.
t. c.
I loved this hotel. Close to everything, refined, pool and spa. Very good service. The food was delicious. Will stay again
S. R.
Great hotel great service
Parking is under the hotel. Has a pillow menu, breakfast was awesome and there was nothing that we couldn't have asked for.
M. M.
Nice place. Conference facilities were fairly good. Room needed some maintenance but overall it was fairly well looked after. Foyer area outside the conference rooms was small however.
R. W.
Great location, excellent service, clean and spacious family rooms and bathroom (level 31)
Being in Level 31, we gained exclusive access to Jamison Club on level 31 - handy!! They serve buffet breakfast (in the morning of course) and canapés and drinks served from 5.30-7.30pm.
I also went to Amora Day Spa for a body scrub and a massage. An hour and a half of peace and relaxation. Beautiful, courteous and friendly therapists.
The kids enjoyed the spa ("the hot tub") and the pool. Overall, a wonderful and pleasant stay for the whole family. We will be back for another 'staycation.'
C. S.
Great room. Very clean and great views. Very friendly staff.
R. G.
Clean rooms, friendly staff and the location overlooked the city. 5 stars for sure

Was heaps of fun DJ'ing for Super fast business dinner. See you again on the 12th of March for the next event!! 😃💃💗 💫 love to exhibit some art if possible? Thanks

Conveniently located, modern, and well trained staff make this hotel a good choice. Easy to walk to trains and Circular Quay. The rooms are well equipped with nice furniture and bathrooms. The only major downside is the fitness room being very small and lacking free weights. They need to upgrade that area.

Hotel was really nice, clean and staff very friendly. The buffet breakfast had a great selection of food, the gym was a little small. Location was right in the city

Excellent hotel in heart of sydney. Well worth a visit if the price is right.
C. W.
Great location with shopping, dining, and transit all right nearby. Some fantastic views and the rooms are imoeccable. Staff is super friendly and helpful. In all it is an ideal place to stay in Sydney

Lovely hotel, well located in the end close to trains and circular quay. Great service and inclusions. Enjoyed staying here!

Absolutely fabulous. Excellent Location, great amenities, wonderful customer service. Love the VIP club. Will definately stay again. My 'go to' place to stay in Sydney

Stayed on a Saturday night for just one night to crash in the city. Good location, less than 5 minute walk from Wynyard station. Room facilities were great and room was very clean. There are limited tv channels, but we didn't stay in the …

Location is a little hard to find - GPS struggles amidst the tall buildings, signage is small and the entrance is on a tiny back street. The rooms are nice enough, maybe a little small. The views are obstructed. The bathroom interior is …
P. M.
Excellent customer service and first class club rooms and facilities. Very good breakfast.
Close to wynnard station and the Rocks
S. D.
Excellent location for a city view, qualitative breakfast and good amenities!
J. L.
Great location, fantastic service, and very good wifi. Spent two nights pre cruise and would love to have stayed longer. Easy walking distance to both Darling Harbor and Circle Quay.
C. O.
Not a bad hotel. They were ding a bit of construction while I was there. However, the location is great. There are several restaurants within a block of the hotel. If you don't mind walking a few blocks you have access to even more restaurants and several mass transit options as well. You are also within walking distance of several tourist attractions including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, and the Botanical Gardens. From Circular Quay you can easily get to several local beaches, Taronga Zoo, and just about anywhere else you want to visit in Sydney.
B. J.
Went there to attend a professional event and while the venue was nice and well equipped, the place was rather small for what I'd guesstimate to be around 400 attendees. Rooms where also really hot (and it's only August!) though this might partially be due to these being so packed!
J. J.
Very nice hotel. Staff was professional and courteous. The breakfast buffet has everything including barista coffee. Good place to stay if looking for a place in the Sydney CBD.
R. S.
Hotel is well maintained. Location is good. Rooms are sized decently. Amenities aren't that up to date.
M. Q.
Top class service by the staff here in all aspects, they can't do enough for you. Nicely appointed rooms and a quality hotel overall.
H. S.
I spent 14 days mandatory quarantine here. Everything was perfect. Thank you!
G. H.
It's central to all attractions. Very warm and clean. No washing facilities was the only thing. I like to do a wash before we leave but that might not affect many people.

I had the nicest Christmas ever at their buffet lunch on Christmas day. The food was so fresh and the variety of the food was amazing. My 6 year old daughter also loved it. As we walked in through the hotel lobby, there was an actual gingerbread house (about the size of a small car) made of real gingerbread bricks and lollies. Inside the house was a basket with little brick biscuits for you to eat! There were oysters, prawns, mussels, crab legs and a whole salmon fish backed and decorated with what looked like a cream cheese topping. There was a gorgeous sushi/sashimi selection, a table with hot meals with barramundi, slow cooked lamb, etc and then another hot table with roast turkey and pork. I have never seen such a spectacular buffet spread in my life! It completely blew the Intercontinental's Cafe Opera buffet out the window. The Santa was amazing and went round and gave all of the children presents that were really good ones (Proper Play-Doh and bucket) and the adults got vodka coffee martinis to take home - and they're pretty strong! He also spent time talking with each child, not just hurriedly dropping off presents and on to the next child. He was young, very fit (no big round belly on this Santa!) and had beautiful smiling eyes. One of the best Christmas lunches I've had.

Spacious rooms, very polite staff. Love the bathtub! Howwver pillow menu is limited and the lovely pool and jacuzzi was crowded.
J. K.
I was here on a business conference and it was the most comfortable and convenient location to stay. Staff was exceptional and the conference room was great. thank you!
F. M.
The room was nicely appointed with a lovely big bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for my liking but overall pretty comfortable.
T. M.
Location was the reason we picked it and it worked out great - easy 7-15 minute walks to all the main scenic spots Room was clean and have usable for the two of us with all our luggage
J. S.
Excellent experience. Nice spacious room. Friendly service. Breakfast was great. Will definitely stay again.
T. A.
Absolutely fantastic buffet breakfast in the Gallery Restaurant! It makes Food Fantasy at Jupiters Casino look like a Sizzlers. A beautiful, fresh range of breads, cheeses, muffins, croissants, eggs, bacon, soups, fresh fruits, yoghurts, and more. A serene atmosphere and not crowded. Very reasonably priced, all you can eat, and you wont be hungry again until dinner time!
Beautifully appointed and unique furnished rooms, with outstanding city views from the higher level rooms. Good, efficient service too.
A. L.
A nice place, with sizable rooms, though they were a little old. Still, everything was sparkling clean, and the staff were really hospitable.

We have just had a long weekend stay at the Amora and we couldnt fault anything . Very clean hotel great rooms 5 star for a reason Would stay here again in our future visits and will be spreading the word to all our friends .😀
I. P.
After flying in from the UK, it was nice arriving at the Amora Hotel, friendly staff and very helpful.
The kids loved the pool.
Good location for city break.
K. A. J.
So convenient as everything is within walking distance. The room was lovely, large, and clean. Wouldn't think too much about choosing to stay here again.
A. C.
A beautifully appointed hotel. Easy walking to almost everywhere in the city. The room is fairly spacious, and I like the soft bed.
D. B.
Over all a nice hotel. Food quality great. Fitness centre a little small but has basics. A good stay for business.
A. C.
I always really enjoy my stay at the Amora Comfortable, clean rooms with excellent beds. Rooms have also been updated to include hmdi, pc and usb connectivity to the entertainment system. Broadband wifi throughout.
L. L.
We were able to stay only one night, and it was rushed, in mid afternoon and out in mid morning, so an extensive review would not be possible nor fare. But what we saw of the hotel we were impressed
A. T.
Had to stay there under quarantine rules. Pleasant room, always friendly staff and good / great city views.
D. P.
Super modern, clean 5 Star feel room, enjoyed the sauna (they have a steam room as well!) and the spa, nice pool heated pool too. Great location as well
D. M. T.
Came as tourists over the easter weekend. Location is in the middle of the business district. A lot of restos were closed so had to travel away from hotel. Rooms were good, lobby spacious.
M. T.
Always a luxurious stay at Amora. Staff only too helpful and facilities are great to relax. Location great, we walk everywhere we want to go in Sydney
C. W.
Really nice hotel with comfortable beds definitely so lux. The only thing is the single use plastics in an ‘environmentally friendly’ hotel but apart from that small fact amazing!!
L. M.
Very centrally located and close to some good restaurants, but the food is good in the restaurant too. Rooms were modern and comfortable. Service was quick and efficient. The lobby is nice to sit in.
J. D.
Only stayed for a night and was a very nice hotel. Didn't get to enjoy all the features but my one criticism is that the pillows were so large it was impossible for me to sleep
P. O.
Very comfortable room. Large bathroom. However, no dresser or drawer space therefore needed to live out of our suitcases.
M. K.
First time here and very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. The room is beautiful and clean and great views.
S. C.
The estandby upgrade to the Jamison Club was particularly great value for our family of 3. Fantastic spread for breakfast and evening canapés - you don't need to go out for dinner. Would have given 5 stars but for a few hiccton check-in. I think they were extraordinarily busy on the Friday evening and some less experienced staff were not supervised well. Once we got over that, a 5-stat experience all the way!
K. D.
Loved this hotel! Gorgeous pool, comfy bed and beautiful bath tub! Conveniently located and wonderful staff.
S. C. (. H.
Is a great quarantine hotel. Would be a good hotel to stay in if I were to vacation or have a business trip in the Sydney area!
K. S.
Lovely room, bed was a little on the soft side but overall really nice, clean. Service was excellent
s. c.
Centrally located, nice gym, pool, spa facilities, friendly staff, great breakfast buffet. You get a decent view only from the upper floors rooms
D. C.
Super spacious rooms in a convenient location in the CBD near The Rocks. Of particular note are the large bathrooms and king sized bed, both of which allow for plenty of room for activities!
W. D. P.
The staff are friendly, very clean. A great Hotel to get rid of jetlagged 😅very central. Thanks for making me and my family stay s op pleasant.
D. C.
A good hotel with very nice bigger rooms. The bathrooms are also good. Our room was facing the Jamison Street. The Sydney Harbour is at a walking distance as are various malls on the George Street. Apple store on the George street was also on a walking distance.
R. O.
Service was good, they don't give you drinking water while most of the 4 and 5 stars do. Spent money to stay with good hotel but this sucks
C. M.
Great hotel in central sydney. Has pool, great services & staff. Walking distance to most places & circular quay. Train station virtually underneath. Would stay here again 😊
A. C.
Absolutely fabulous. Excellent Location, great amenities, wonderful customer service. Love the VIP club. Will definately stay again. My 'go to' place to stay in Sydney
S. G.
Decent room for the price and good location. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet adequate.
D. C.
Have stayed at this hotel several times over the years, extremely well located and within walking distance to Opera house, Circular Quay, The Historic Rocks and for the ladies SHOPPING ! Great value for money & always good service
G.
Cost was alright hit don't expect to get anything for free. You'll sleep good and it's clean and we'll mannered. Would recommend if you're on the go.
S. F.
Great comfortable hotel, would have given it 5stars but we had some issues with our door lock 1307, Saturday night fixed Sunday 11am ish, staff very friendly and helpful
E. M.
Convenient location, staff all friendly and efficient, nicely furnished and appointed room. Bed a little too soft and bouncy, bedside alarm was going off at 6:45 am and pm.
m. h.
Beautiful, clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Best buffet breakfast I've ever had!
S. G.
Nice hotel. Good location. Beds are way too soft and food is expensive plus the room service fee.
M. F.
Rooms are excellent and service wonderful very central location though street closures made getting to the hotel somewhat challenging. Road closed at George st end and so a bit of mucking about required to get there
T. a.
The services are clean and comfortable. Restaurants are fantastic and with fast service. Wish there was a bigger or another bathroom for rooms with 4 guests
J. R.
one of the best hotels that i stayed in , had great views, fabulous breakfast and exceptional staff
D. A.
Had a business conference day event there yesterday. Welcoming staff, good facilities. Very close walk to well-connected Wynyard Station. Great food and refreshments... Would recommend!
L. C.
Nice hotel, great stay. Just be mindful that they will charge you $5 for a 600ml bottle of water.. which is extortion.
A. P.
Great hotel that is centrally located to all that Sydney has to offer. Staff are really helpful and friendly and the rooms and amenities are fantastic. Will most definitely stay again.
R. B.
Great place for inner city stay. Great service, the rooms available are quite big with plenty of space.
R. R.
Five stars because of location, location, location! Unbeatable location - close to a food court, train station, Starbucks, money exchange, you name it. Very good service compensates for an ok room and ambience. Recommended!
S. S.
What an amazing place to stay. Wonderful view and fantastic service from all the staff. And the wife really enjoyed her massage.
L. H.
Great location about 5m walk to circular quay, good value, friendly service. Indoor pool, sizable rooms with big tv's and comfortable beds.
p. p.
It's absolutely not a 5 stars hotel.
Room's interior old and used , the make-up room is not good and do not clean well.
They have to improve. They are a low 4 stars hotel.
J. O.
The staff at Amora were very friendly. The rooms were clean and well furnished. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
R. B.
Good. Feel the room needed to be better cleaned, and the furniture given a bit of TLC.... otherwise it was adequate for a 4 Star. Not really 5-Star in my book.
G. Z.
Clean, gorgeous and elegant. Wonderful position! Only thing I didn't like is that beds and pillows too soft (at least for my standards!)
D. H.
Centrally located in Sydney. Close to transportation and The Circular Quay. Clean and comfortable, bed was too soft, but all else was good. Would recommend this place.
C. M.
I used the carpark to attend a function in the city and it was very reasonable and a convenient place to park. The hotel staff were very pleasant and welcoming, even though we were just passing through.
A. F.
One of my most favourite hotels in the city. Always a lovely place to stay with beautiful rooms and a great location to access the city.
R.
Great hotel and friendly staff it's middle class and it's not to expensive very enjoyable and clean and comfortable.
J. “. P.
Really nice accommodation in a very convenient location but the vehicle parking situation is incredibly difficult and not good value for money. I would not stay there again until something is done about the parking options.
M. H.
Lovely hotel, well located in the end close to trains and circular quay. Great service and inclusions. Enjoyed staying here!
P. M.
Excellent customer service and first class club rooms and facilities. Very good breakfast.
Close to wynnard station and the Rocks
A. M.
Clean, good location, friendly staff. Soft bed, comfortable but if you prefer firmer mattress probably not for you.
P. C.
Good location about 10 mins walk from the harbour. Good size rooms and decent breakfasts. Staff very helpful and attentive.
M. P.
Attended a breakfast seminar here. Not sure if it was Amora or the host's fault, but the food was limited, space was cramped and the bathrooms on a different floor. Don't recommend.
P. J.
A very nice hotel, for business functions the rooms and facilities are perfect. Great sound quality and spacious room for 150+ people.
G. P.
Was heaps of fun DJ'ing for Super fast business dinner. See you again on the 12th of March for the next event!! 😃💃💗 💫 love to exhibit some art if possible? Thanks
K. H.
Clean, great location, nice staff. All extras are exorbitantly priced. i.e $25 cheese toasty and $40 per head, below average buffet breakfast.
J. W.
Amora Jamison is positioned perfectly, right next to Wynyard Station, and allows you to easily walk to most places in the city. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff are lovely.
C. L.
Location is on a side street which access is easy as it's not on a main road... There is a taxi stand right next to it so it's easy to get around. The restaurant had good food and good service
L. L.
Decent hotel. I lived there for a week. The room cleaning service in the last few days is not very good.
I. S.
Beautiful hotel; I attended a breakfast function which was very professionally catered. Nice facilities and great location near circular quay & wynyard.
D. S.
In the middle of the city
Woolworth is just around the corner, and a few night clubs nearby which is fun and convenient
The down side is I was surrounded by commercial buildings and offices, and I can actually look into someone's office. I can't quite enjoy the view or pull away the blinds
R. D.
Fantastic location. Close to all of the Sydney highlights. Room was great. Bed was way too soft!
A. S.
Am so glad that I get to stay at the Amora hotel Jamison for my quarantine it's got great rooms and the menu is amazing
K. B.
Service was as should be expected. Small things like having overly soft pillows are the only negatives. Simple and enjoyable stay
L. S.
Great rooms, nice food, comfy beds, plus sauna/stream room, pool and gym...can't ask for much else!
J. D.
Excellent service very friendly staff. The room was very clean and well appointed. Enjoyed our stay.
S. G.
Nice hotel, great location right in the thick of things. Rooms are a good size and everything has been well maintained.
L. M.
Staff were lovely as was the room and the free upgrade we received for my partner's birthday!
P. D.
Well priced hotel for the business traveller. Nice meeting place and bar upstairs and good sized foyer and lobby area for casual meetings.
O. M.
We had a great time even though it was only one night! Wow great value for money! I recommend it for anyone, and wish I could for longer.
M. M.
Great Hotel. Excellent location central to everything. Attentive staff. Comfortable bed.
D. L.
Really nice hotel, tho my room could use a little privacy. The neighbouring offices could see right through to my room and bathroom if the blinds are not closed
P. N.
Conveniently located and pleasant stay; rooms are a good size and have a decent setup. Good for a quick trip.
D. W.
Nice l short stay superb bed and bedding choice of extra luxurious pillows close 5 min walk to circular quay only down was our room had building to look at from lounge no good
K. S.
Extremely comfortable spacious room and bed. Very helpful staff and convenient to everywhere.
H. C.
A great hotel in the city centre with an excellent restaurant and breakfast.
You can get a good value deal if you book early enough and a convenient location to access everything in the city centre
R. D.
Rooms are nice a bit small, had a nightmare with the key cards, kept in deacrivating and the gym is very basic. Good location walking distance from everything.
T. P.
Friendly staff, very clean and upgraded hotel in a convenient location to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. Really enjoyed my stay here.
H. V.
We hosted a business event at Amora and it was superb...seamless, faultless.
Brilliant team of professionals who went above and beyond to service our every request.
S. S.
The Amora Hotel is a great hotel well located in Sydney to the major attractions. The rooms are nicely designed and the bed is very comfortable.
S. P.
Stayed there for 10 days on a business trip. High-tech hotel, friendly room service, walkable distance from opera house (~1km its walkable for me :-) )
Overall it was a good choice...
W. S.
Very good service. amenities are good. service is brilliant I including room service. identified and arrange for a return of our lost properties.
J. G.
Attended drinks. Very few staff serving drinks. No table service, had to go to bar & wait until someone showed up. But this is a small gripe.
K. M.
I always enjoy staying here. One of my favourite hotels in Sydney. Club rooms are perfect for travelling
S. T.
The place is great. In CBD, near to everything. The hotel is clean, spacious. I really enjoyed my time.
H. E.
Good sized room. Very clean and super comfy beds. Delicious breakfast with good selection of food.
J. M.
Beautiful and staff were amazing, breakfast a little too expensive but otherwise fantastic. Would recommend to everyone.
C. E.
It was surprisingly amazing venue. Never thought there is a five star hotel there. The service and fingers food served were non but excellence. Love to attend event there.
N. J.
Hotel is pretty good. Nice location. Service is a bit stilled. Only one towel each.
C. K.
Nice hotel, big rooms. Located in a perfect location, short walk from circular quey. Definitely will come again
D. M.
Comfortable room. Quick check in and out. Bar staff were very helpful.
P. J.
Comfortable, clean, impeccable service, great location near CBD & trains, but could use a little refurbishment as signs of wear and tear are present.
J. B. (.
Great place. Nice buffet breakfast. Spacious room with great views. Pleasant and friendly staff.
D. N.
All ways a nice place to stay. Friendly staff and room service food is always good.
K. P.
This hotel has that wow factor. Bed was super comfy, room large, I was able to watch a movie in the bath and staff are lovely.
K. T.
Great clean hotel in a good location. Everyone is friendly and has paid parking in the building which is the best you been ask for in Sydney CBD.
u. k.
Neat clean , 200m far from wynyard station. Its using for quarantine purpose now a days.
F. B.
Amazing location. Super comfortable bed, and the best staff from the door to the restaurant
F. A.
Location is perfect, close to wenyard train station and only 10 minutes walking to the harbour! Rooms and cleaneless is good
L. M.
Nice luxury hotel within walking distance of The Rocks & Circular Quay & directly next to an exit from Wynyard station. Great hotel for nights out in the city.
J. S.
Great hotel. Sydney is very overpriced when it comes to accommodation but this place seemed worth it. Highly recommended!
S. L.
2 mins from Wynyard station, and 10 min from Circular Quay. Nice staff and clean room. I enjoy my stay here!
T. R.
Good central location, friendly staff. The room was vey quiet and the bed super comfortable!
N. z.
Location was great with everything within walking distance from the hotel. Room was lovely and clean too!
T. W.
Great service. Easy check in. Fixed up TV issues immediately. Comfy rooms. Brilliant location
P. B.
Incredibly attentive staff. Good indoor pool with sauna. Central so walking distance to most Sydney attractions.
T. J.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was well appointed and a lovely breakfast.
A. E.
Pleasant enough meal. Service was prompt and food was fine. No issues with the meal, as expected. Staff were friendly.
P. M.
Just had a meeting, lobby was small, construction going on, no place to sit and wait. Had the meeting in the breakfast area, you'd think they'd have a few bookable rooms.
