Booked in late notice after local caravan park left a lot to be desired. Absolutely wonderful staff, very helpful and lovely, was able to accommodate my campertrailer out the back while I stayed in a room. Room was very clean and tidy, spacious and shower was absolutely marvelous! Highly recommend.

Welcome from owners on arrival was wonderful after 12hrs on road. Nothing was a problem. Food delivered to our room ( due to covid) was lovely and the room was exceptionally clean with crisp sheets and comfortable bed.Bathroom very nice with large showerhead and plenty of water pressure. Well done to owners.

Room and bathroom fully renovated, very clean and comfortable compared to the photos showing up on the booking sites with outdated rooms and bathrooms. New air conditioner as well as ceiling fan. Nice big salt water pool to relax on a warm summer day. Very country feel and plenty of space to walk around. Friendly staff. Nothing to complain and will stay again.

By far the only hotel I have stayed at with the biggest TV.. would have being 50 inch.. also the toster was huge as well. Clean and spacious. Super friendly staff (they are looking for someone to take over the restaurant if your interested) and would stay there again.. just dont forget the bug spray.

How good is this place. Spent 12 hours in a truck, walked in and greeted with a beer and a good chat. Recommend the homestead to anyone. Rooms are great, pool is magic and perfect to get far enough out of town but still close enough to go in and do what you have to. 5 stars

Have stayed at several other motels in this area, as we have been working here the past couple of months. NONE compare, whether they were cheaper or more expensive. Tammy and Mick are doing an excellent job. Great rooms. Good scenery. Amazing and friendly service. These owners will bend over backwards to help out their guests and make them feel welcome. Could not recommend them more

Rooms were extremely C lean & Comfy I flew in late & would have been waiting for a cab for an hour or more so the owner came and picked me up then when I flew home I forgot some of my luggage then my luggage got delivered to the airport 👌 unbelievable service much appreciated and also had beer waiting for me when I checked in late best service ever 🍺🍺 will definitely be staying here again 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍❤️👌 me up or

Staff were very friendly, room was very nice and clean, bathroom modern with excellent shower and bed had crisp sheets and a very comfy bed and pillow. Everything I needed. If you stay you must try try the food, the restaurant had a very cozy atmosphere run by lovely people and my t-bone was cooked to perfection with reasonable prices. Plus there was a lovely little area by the bar to relax and warm up by the fire. All this for under $100 will definitely stay again

Service was great and friendly. We got moved to a bigger room once the owner realised we were two guys with heaps of work equipment, which was a nice touch. Free breakfast was super handy: another thing we didn't have to worry about while on a work trip. Will stay at the same place again next time we're in town.

My pre-teen daughter and I stayed here on our way back from Geelong to Sydney. A little bit out of the way but a nice change vs the usual Albury. I was pleasantly surprised when we drove into the motel. Very modern looking. Our room (Queen and single) was a nice size with a very nice bathroom. TV was huge - about the size I have at home but much bigger than most motels I've stayed at. Bed was comfortable which was nice after the hard bed I'd been staying at in Geelong :) The lady in reception was lovely to deal with both at checkin/out and earlier when I'd rung to try and change my booking date due to a change in plans (which they did at very short notice). My daughter and I spent a few hours in the small but nicely presented and very clean pool. After we'd been there for a few hours one of the owners (Mick I think) wandered in and handed me a tinny - very appreciative on a hot day. Was good to have a chat to him and find out their plans for the place and how much had changed in the 6 months or so they'd been running the place. We had dinner at the restaurant which is owned separately. Also recommended but covered in another review. But nice to have a few drinks at dinner and have a nice close room to walk to.

Wow ..what lovely people and terrific place..we wish them all the very best. We needed to be close to the airport to fly out early ..4 mins away! Large, spotless room and bathroom ..$99! The owner organised an in-room breakfast as we would be gone before the free breakfast would be available from the restaurant. The restaurant was fabulous too ..the yummiest creamy garlic sauce on surf and turf.

We booked on line and was not sure of what we would be getting. It was was a great pleasure to be greeted by the host with a warm smile and a hello how are you. We were directed to our roon witch was roomy and very clean and comfortable . Went to the resturant for pre dinner drinks and was greeted by a friendly waitress who looked after us with no fuss. The meal was good and not expensive. Over all rating for this motel is a 10/10.

We recently travelled to Wagga for a three night stay from Inverell (ten hour trip) to be welcomed by the friendly staff at the Australian Homestead Motor Lodge where we experienced great rooms, great food and great hospitality. We would like to thank all you guys for makings us feel so welcome and found the open fire place and lovely warm wood heaters very appealing after a fresh day outside. We highly recommend this Motor Lodge for any traveller that is chasing good value for their dollars.
