G. R.I was worried when I first booked my accommodation with Bay Hotel Motel, only because I was familiar with the area and the photos didn't give it the justice that it deserves.
I was very happy when we turned up, the staff are super friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy an sooooo much better and roomier than the photo's suggest. If you are in the area this is a very nice place to stay, reasonably priced and super convenient because it was close to shops, bottle shop & bar. I highly recommend the Bay Hotel Motel.
J. B.Overnight stay with our small dogs. Room was clean and tidy upon arrival and had everything we needed. Comfy bed was also a plus. Will definitely stay again if we decide to drive interstate in the future.
T. S.Relaxed, friendly staff, dog friendly, nothing was a problem. Shops were hand y for a meal, coffee etc, Coles and chemist. Rooms are nice and everything in the room works well.

Z.No photos but wow what an unexpected surprise. Fresh, clean, and the staff were amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. A must while you are there also is the pub attached, we only stayed 1 night but it was worth it.
A do not look past it if you are in lakes entrance and want reasonable accommodation

J. M.Been here a few times over the past couple of years. It's great pub grub, family friendly with some great craft beers on tap. But today the meal was a little 'tired' tasting, not-so-fresh meat and seafood.

C. C.We had the chicken schnitzel and the vege burger at the bistro. Husband chose pepper sauce for the chicken schnitzel. It had pepper corns and was delicious. The schnitzel was large and tender, great. His side salad was plentiful and chips were excellent. I had the vegetarian burger which came with chips even though the menu didn’t mention it. Great burger. Service was very friendly. High sanitation evident. We sat in a large glass atrium that looked into greenery and watched the rain pour over the glass roof.

M. H.We stayed at the Bay Hotel Motel for a weekend in their 'Unit' room and have to say it was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant has a nice selection on the menu and the place itself is conveniently located a walking distance to the Bonnells Bay shopping centre. Would definitely recommend if you're coming to stay in the area.
A. N. S.Perfect for a getaway. Very clean. Great pool and bbq area. Took 2 dogs and they were happy there, enough space in the room for all. Good bbq area next to pool so dogs didn't feel left out. Good bistro next door. Kid friendly. Unfortunately the playground at the pub was closed though.

Z. M.Food was amazing they do delivery and the food is always hot and amazing, chicken wings were tender burgers are juicy and packed with food and the chips are crunchy golden and hot, you also get a great amount of food burger with chips, steak with chips, mashed patatoe.. THIS DESERVES 5 STARS
N. L.Mixed feelings on this review. Great friendly staff, cater thoughtfully for my son with disabilities. In fact they are the best part of the hotel along with the interesting decor. Food not the greatest in the bistro but not the worst. It’s a great menu on paper but a poor translation of it in reality. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little outdated for the price. One room in particular has a shark picture hanging in it... it doesn’t induce relaxation or peace, it is actually a little disturbing. Obviously the owner loves it because I’ve stayed there a couple of times and it’s still there (for some reason we always get assigned that room until I change it).
g. f.I stayed for the first time in 20 years at the bay hotel/motel and found the room was tidy a bit on the expensive side at $150 per night but it is what it is and I was in no state to argue. But apart from the cost I found it satisfactory.
R. R.Really great place. Stayed for a few nights and was blown away by the service. Great pool and so close to heaps of amenities. The restaurant/pub next door was great as well. Can't recommend enough.
L. R.I am proud to call The Bay my local :) They have a great selection of food and there's live entertainment every weekend. For a little pub, they've had some very well known musicians perform there too!! Not to mention the lovely staff and great customer service!! Highly recommend. 👌🏼

S. B.Our first visit certainly won't be our last. Great décor and a nice range of standard and craft beers available on tap. The steaks at the bistro were on point and reasonably priced. Only minor criticism I have is that while the accompanying salad was lovely, it would be nice to swap it to vegies without incurring a hit to the hip pocket if salad isn't your thing. A very minor concern at a wonderful venue.

K. D.The most accommodating place I know! Our room was perfectly spotless and smelt fantastic when we walked in. The staff knew the words "how can I help you" and meant it. I would highly recommend a night a the bay and would stay there again.

M. W.Won bottleshop of the year 2018 and I think it deserves this accolade every year. Clean, tidy, well laid out, clear price tickets, great deals, excellent pricing, fantastic range especially wine and craft beer. Really interesting wine range with a lot of point of difference, not the same old boring range that everyone else has. It does stock all the usuals though. Plenty of easy parking, wonderful and helpful staff. This is the benchmark for other liquor stores. Don't have what your looking for?....just ask and they will assist you.
K. B.The room was definitely better than expected and the service was excellent. We travelled with a baby and required a microwave for sterilizing bottles, they brought one to the room for our convenience. Lovely people.
D. S.My most recent visit to this establishment left me very impressed by the service. The food was prepared very quickly, and the quality was above the pub food standard. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and a sizable game room with pool, and big buck Hunter HD to keep groups entertained. I always enjoy my visits here

D. C.Amazingly nice motel. We had 3 rooms and nothing was a problem for the staff to do for us, like 30 minute warning of a cot in one room.
Rooms looked brand new, freshly painted , modern, nice fittings and each room had a double bed and two singles. The beds were clean and comfortable. Cars spots were a little small but numbered and right out the front of the rooms.
The motel is part of the hotel so pub lunches and dinners were on the cards.
It is also a 30 second walk to the bonells bay shops.
I had recently stayed in a motel in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and this place is cheaper and much, much nicer than the motel in Kew, Melbourne.
I would certainly use this motel again when needed.

y.Very nice rooms,had trouble with my room and reception was quick to give me another room free. Tenis courts, play area, pool, bar, restaurant all are decent and the staff are friendly. If your looking to stop off for a night or two with famly this place is ideal, its also really close to a shopping centre being less then 100 meters from the hotel.
P. O.Really good meals. Place is a bit rustic but that is not a bad thing. Staff are fast with their service. There is live music. I'd happily come back again.

r. m.on my travels from qld came across the bay motel after a long drive it was a pleasure to rest .the room had a great lounge and room size was great after a rest walked to hotel for a meal .the hotel was fantastic with well appointed rooms for wating sport or just relaxing with friends having a drink as for the food wow i had curried munk fish and rice (first time) i would reckoment this hotel if travelling.the managers were very friendly and helpful as were the staff .thank you for a wonderful stay

J. C.Stayed here for six days while leading on a holiday camp. The hotel has no wireless internet, but both Optus and Telstra wireless broadband devices worked fine. Leaving at 5:30am each morning we didn't get to see much, but the room was well serviced each day. Quiet location, good access. Google Maps had wrong coordinates. GPS needed to be told to find Grenache Way. Handy to the shops. $100 per night.

J. M.Lunch at the Bay Hotel was an experience with boats and memorabilia covering walls and ceiling. We chose, steak sandwich and a vegeburger made from chickpeas and beetroot, both delicious. Service was quick and brought to table with a smile.
