Great. In addition to all the other positive comments regarding the clean rooms and utilities provided (heater, fridge), the whole facility is well tended to. There are plenty of signs around to direct you throughout and using things like the laundry room. There are also rules about alcohol being only permitted in the dining area and having no more then two standard drinks on the premises, which keeps things orderly. Located in a fairly quite area, apart from the birds in the morning that eventually settle down, I've have had restful sleeps during my stay .

I enjoyed my stay their really and extended it a lot of times. The staff is very nice and friendly and the hostel is one of the cleanest in Sydney. Furthermore the bathrooms are modern and you'll find everything you need in the kitchen. You can meet their people from lots of different origins. I really would recommend it.

Very friendly staff. Nice and tidy rooms. Kitchen and bathrooms cleaned daily. Doing your laundry is possible. Not a party hostel. Stayed here 3 times for a short period, no longer then 3 days, every time a good vibe.

Awesome hostel. Very friendly and happy staff. They clean the kitchen, rooms and toilets everyday. Even managers clean the kitchen more than one in a day. Close to shops, pubs and the train station. Free parking on the streets nearby. Guests are mostly from UK and EU. You will find variety of nationalities and very friendly people there. Affordable rates. Highly recommend.

Clean rooms, right near the city and friendly staff! The reviews do not do it justice - this place is in a lovely old building with character, however the rooms are relatively new and clean. Nice outdoor area with BBQ for relaxing and reading a book. Kitchen and bathrooms all well kept too. Staff were fantastic and speak many languages! Would recommend and will stay again. Parking on street too and right near train station (5 min walk). Quite and peaceful, mostly Europeans. J

Booked a room last minute as the rate was dirt cheap and stayed for 1 night. In all honesty, had a more pleasant experience and felt more comfort here than any night I could remember at the Hilton or even 5 star accommodations I have tried in the past. Service by Brani at check-in all the way to checkout was so genuine, down to earth and professional. He even granted me an early check-in at 12:00pm no questions asked. 5 stars for value for money & service.

Stayed here long term and loved my stay. Brani and Zorica were very accommodating and made me feel very welcome. Rooms are well equipped with wardrobes and sinks. Great location close to the train station and good social areas to meet other people. Free breakfast was an added bonus, would definitely recommend this hostel.

I absolutely loved the location, so lovely and quiet, but only 15 minute walk to Enmore and Newtown. Accommodation was tidy and clean and fairly basic but has all that most people need if you are going to be out and about. My single room had great facilities -fridge, sink, TV. Great place to stay.

One of the hostels I've ever been to. The staff was really nice and predisposed. Clean bathrooms, nice kitchen and common areas, including a backyard, everything really organised. The breakfast was included and pretty ok. Close to the train station. Definitely recommend this place!

We stayed for 4 nights, the experience was really great. It’s clean and neat, love the kitchen especially. The host was very nice and attentive to details. Would definitely love to come back and stay.

I thought this was an excellent backpackers. Clean dorms, clean bathrooms, good kitchens. Main issue was it does need some maintenance for example the Internet works very patchy, some of the taps were broken in the bathrooms and some of the communication was piecemeal. But I would be happy to come back again.

Nice small quiet hostel. After free breakfast in the morning you can easily wall ten minutes to a high street full off shops and life. It's super close to Stanmore Train Station so that made getting around so easy. Everybody in this Hostel …

Every day clean all room and space. It’s good and especially staff are amazing. I had a problem about washing machine but they listen my word carefully and solved that with satisfied. Also might be after 10pm, we can’t enter the dining area so you don’t worry about party sound but sometimes you may feel difficulty when you are thirsty.

A couple of great things about this Guest House. The staff were very helpful and friendly and did everything they could to help us. Hostel is a short walk to Stanmore station and it's 9min to the city from there. Recommend this place for people who wants a friendly and calmer vibe.

The Lodge has a great atmosphere. It is possible to interact with the staff as people, unlike many other places I've stayed in Australia. It's a place that many people return to after staying the first time. Free breakfast, free WIFI, big rooms for Sydney, plenty of bathrooms, showers always hot The location is great, easy to get into the city but also very close to Newtown, which is one of the most interesting parts of Sydney.

An historic building converted to an accommodation lodge with private and shared rooms. The physical layout encourages interaction between houseguests and leads to a convivial, friendly atmosphere. Located in Stanmore, an attractive inner city Sydney suburb, a short walk leads to Stanmore Station, a few stops from Central Station. This establishment is of a far higher standard than a backpacker and attracts a better standard of long and short term guests

Private rooms and dorm style at this lodge located in Enmore. Stayed here because we were seeing a concert at Enmore theatre and the location couldn't have been better, a short 10 minutes walk to the theatre and free street parking available. The lodge was dates but clean and satisfactory. Room was lovely, had a fridge and sink. Free continental breakfast provided, bread and cereal. I was checking in late so I got sent a message with specific instructions on how to get in which was greatly appreciated. Close to lots of restaurants in Enmore and the train station if you want to get to the CBD (roughly 30 minutes away).

Very yummy breakfasts to wake up to, great central location close to some lovely cafes and attractions, and very welcoming and friendly staff. The rooms were well looked after. The staff are super friendly and provide all kinds of support you need when in a city you don't know. I have been traveling around the coutry couple of months but The Cambridge lodge was the cleanest place. I like that it's away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Friendly staff. (specially Zorica) the room was really good, it has breakfast included which is also good. however, it had a big problem, it has the WORST wifi I've ever used. (I did the speedtest and it has less than 1 MB) and on the middle of the night, the internet connection stopped working. they should fix that, quickly.
