T. A.Amazing food, and such wonderful hospitality.
Our group spent a bit of time at Eagle Hawk over the last week. The food and service was so impressive, we didn't really want to dine anywhere else (over the week, we went through A LOT of steak and parmas). We highly recommend grilling your own steak on their hot stones - such an experience.
We'll definitely be back soon. Thank you for making us all feel so welcome!

I. t.Went to the Eaglehawk for the first time last week. The food was great and the staff very helpfull. Even the locals made you feel at home talking to us.
Noticed that the staff were very quick to clean up the plates and empty glasses so more people could sit and enjoy a meal.

The service is very good, after we ordered, about four minutes we had our first meal.
Meals arrived, one of us ordered a steak meal, come on a hot stone.
You cook the steak how you like it to cook .
There is beer on the tap, with soft drinks.
There is pizza you can get.
We had a nice day.

T. M.The Staff were not welcoming or accommodating at all. Our menu was limited because we were told the chef's wanted to go home.
Apart from 1 dish (stone grill steak) the food was actually quite tasty. Meal size was good, however was quite pricey considering it is a pub bistro.
Very basic venue and facilities. Lovely flowers in the garden. Location is very accessible from the Highway, although I will not visit the restaurant again nor would I recommend the restaurant to my friends or family.

B. M.My wife & I decided to visit Canberra for a few days then due to COVID closing down the borders we stopped at Eaglehawk & were pleasantly surprised with just how professional all the staff were & how AMAZING the food is.
We ate 2 outta 4 nights in the restaurant and the specials are simply mouth watering. The menu is for all budgets and all food is from local farmers so you cant go wrong.
You MUST do your pockets & tastebuds are a favour, stop by & enjoy the service of the staff & most importantly renew new memories.

S. R.A favourite of mine. Staff are generally happy and efficient. They have a good menu and prices are reasonable. Most of the customers are locals but some people travel from Canberra to drink in a actual pub with a front bar feel.

The owner is really friendly , he gave us French fries for free , and it was served very quickly . The best value and best food on this highway

D.I went to this pub for a dinner for a couple of nights while staying in a cabin at the holiday park next door. I love the steak on the hot cooking stone. A brilliant feed and a beer.

The front of house staff are great and were full of good cheer on the cold night we were there.
Prices are reasonable and plenty on the plate.

F.Thank goodness for Little Jess the barmaid and Jake the physio barman for looking after the punters and having the sheets available or on her 'phone as the other staff often just do not seem to care (5 stars for Jess & Jake vs two for the others). Since my last post it has actually gotten worse with no service for punters to speak of and no sign of Jess or Jake (must have provided unacceptably better service compared to current bunch - not really their fault and MGT do not seem to care so suggest steering clear).
