Owners are great and friendly. Fantastic views from the motel and the bar. Reasonable distance to Blue Mountains & Jenolan Caves. Definitely recommend going here for food. Only downsides were the bedding was disappointing (too many layers that felt cheap, and not enough space in the room to take off layers you don't want), and the room didn't get turned down at all during our 3 night stay

I cannot recommend this beautiful hotel enough! I had the pleasure of staying in a gorgeous room with a bathtub, fireplace and ensuite. The views from the room are stunning, and I was instantly relaxed and refreshed. Details like large plush towels and very comfortable bedding make this stay feel very luxurious at a great price. The pub style restaurant has great food and seating with spectacular views. There are cows, chickens and bird life that make this feel like a country getaway. The service was excelllent with super friendly people.

We stopped for lunch on our riding route to Rydal. The staff were friendly, food was yummy, and the venue was clean and accommodating. The space out the back of the eatery (inside or on the balcony) offers amazing views. Looks like you can make a reservation to make the most of the views, which is well worth it. There is also a pub style area as well which we did not use. Offers loads of parking out front which is handy and we were able to leave our bikes safely outside and we enjoyed our meal.

An amazing location on top of a valley halfway between the great Western Highway and Jenolan Caves. Good quality food and a crisp beer. Bike riders are welcomed and plentiful on nice days.

I did not had the luck to check in, but I am still extremly happy about this place. There was a really heavy snow that day. Not only did the staff called me about the weather and the road clousure saving me all the hassle, they were also happy to refund the non-refundable booking that I made earlier that day. Partner and I popped in for a late lunch on our way back from Oberon. The Bistro was fantastic. Not only was the Scotch fillet cooked perfectly (and mouth-watering delicious) but the chef was a very polite and funny gent. Not to mention the views... just wow

Great little pub out in the middle of nowhere, half way to Jenolan Caves from the Highway. Not a huge menu but I did enjoy the food, and there is a small selection of beers on tap. Pretty basic selection though, nothing craft beer available at all. Nice friendly service!

The staff are very friendly and the rooms look nice. I found the renovated rooms look very nice on the inside but are quite cold during cold weather as the little air-con only heats one of the two rooms, although a bit of credit is due as the outside temp was -1 with wind chill of -12.6c. That air-con was just fighting a losing battle. We did bring an electric heated throw so even though the room was cold it was fine in the bed. our 2 bedroom unit really needs a second air-con added. With kids in the room it can get quite loud as there are hard floors and nothing much on the walls to stop the noise from bouncing around the place. Adding some heavy curtains would help with this noise issue. Adding a table to the room would be a nice simple touch too The meals from here are standard pub fair. The steak was nice and the chips are the nice beer batter style which was nice. If this place is busy please be aware there will be a long wait for food as they only run a small kitchen (that I hear is soon to be upgraded). The kids enjoyed their meals. There is a kids play room but it's really needs some new toys added. This place is about 80% the way through their renovations and it shows. once they get finished I think this place will be really nice and the rest of place will get sorted. We booked here because of the snow that was due to fall and boy did it fall. Fun was had all around. I would not hesitate to book here again as this place felt more like a ski resort than just pub with rooms

Boy, was I surprised at this amazing stay-in. Lawrence was an amazing personal who makes you feel like you are staying in a 5-star hotel. Trust me when I say this, the voew from this place is mind-blowing. We were planning to go to Mayfield Gardens and decided to spend the night here. Lawrence was so welcoming from the very beginning, Trevor too. OH MY GOD, the views, the star-gazer in me enjoyed the very best of the milky way including some shooting stars. Protip: take some bugspray.

We've driven past this place Text you copy will automatically show here for 9 years and finally today decided to stop for a feed. The inside is a lot nicer than you would imagine from driving past with nice tables and a lovely sun room out the back overlooking a gorgeous valley. The food was a little slow, but pretty decent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Probably the less desirable aspect was the cleanliness and the lack of a salad option. The tables had leftover rubbish and the front kiosk could really do with a bit of love and care. There was a nice sounding pumpkin salad but it wasn't available. I'd definitely drop in again if in a jam as it's pretty good compared to other local options.

Delightful meal on Jenolan Caves rd at Hampton. Choice of cafe meal or bar meal. Views over the valley are spectacular. For the weary traveller, you can also stay in the luxury accommodation. I recommend that you ask for either the presidential suite or the tropical suite. Or if you have kids, try the themed rooms. Would be a lovely wedding location

wow dinner was fantastic as we were passing by we entered the hotel extremely large group of people in the cafe section and hotel lounge area section small wait to be served at the bar though we understood why. My son had the hampton burger now if anyone get the chance check the burger out oh my god its big,my partner had the chicken schnitzel it was a large size too and mouth watering,my scotch fillet cooked to perfection .Must commend the owners with their renovations that are happening too.Just amazing place we enjoyed it so much we have booked for the restaurant next week.

One would think, as the only eating place around for miles on either side, the quality might be compromised. Clearly, that is not the case. Top coffee. Beautiful views. Cheerful staff. All the ingredients that made the transaction great. Going back for a beer soon.

It's good to find such good establishment on such long road. There is a large choice of beers, a nice view. The food was good but the service was a bit slow (I didn't see many staff around) and the kitchen couldn't prepare few items of the menu.

Found this as an alternative to staying at the Jenolan Caves accommodation. We had a friendly welcome and the evening in the restaurant area was enjoyable - decent food, great portions at reasonable prices. The views during the day were spectacular. While the room - and throughout the hotel - had clearly been renovated to a good standard fairly recently there were a few things wrong. There was no door on the main bedroom, duvets were old and the room was very cold (had to use a towel to block up the gap at the bottom of the external door) even with the air con running at 30 degrees. When trying to leave in the morning the only door to the hotel was locked so we had to exit by walking around the balcony and down the metal stairs fire escape at the side of the building. We got down and then had to wait 10-15 mins for the morning staff to arrive and open up for breakfast. This took until nearly 8.45 so we had to leave to make it to the caves in time for our tour.

Stopped by for some food, friendly locals, friendly staff, good atmosphere with some country tunes. Ordered the hamilton burger with chips which was great but be wary the burger is about 4 times the size of big mac which can be a positive or negative depending on who you are.

Venue appears to have been recently given a makeover and looks great. Good feed too, well worth a stop.

Fantastic value, the place is really close to Jenolan caves and Lithgow and an absolute bargain. We like our hotels a little dated, cute and kitschy so the attached pub and dining area were right up our alley. The room was better than expected, it had a good sized new bar fridge, a kettle and a working flat screen TV which was a shock after staying at a $140 hotel nearby that couldn't even provide this much. The room was definitely dated in appearance which is not an issue for us provided it is clean and ours was spotless! The hot water was a little finicky the first day but kicked in after about 5 minutes of running the shower on hot. The dinner was pretty huge, homely fair which was welcome after a hard day of hiking. Over all we would highly recommend this place for the budget conscious and those who love good Old, Old fashioned hospitality! Can't wait to go back and stay so I can photograph the windmills, valley views and cute as pie pub!

A wonderful pub, great views. Recent renovations are nearly finished, A lot of the original features have been kept intact. It was, and still is, a great pub. Very friendly and helpful, highly recommended for anyone passing or nearby.
