The hosts were fantastic and very accommodating. I booked direct with the motel and they were great to assist with changes to my booking last minute. My room (king room) was perfect. Super comfy bed, a kitchenette, air con and very clean. I stayed in room 21 which like No 22 has a great shared outside area with views over the river. There is also a fantastic pool and BBQ area in the complex. The North Haven club is a short stroll away and as the motel is affiliated guests get member discounts, added bonus!

A great place to stay! Hosts Sandy and Richard couldn't have been more accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, neat and very clean and we enjoyed cooling off on hot summer days in the pool. We loved our stay and look forward to our next visit. Good job guys.

Our family stay was perfect. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Everything was very clean, well appointed and the beds so comfortable! The location is excellent. An excellent sized pool, pool entertaining area and bbq facilities. It's rare to find a motel with lovely gardens throughout and tables to sit at. I cannot fault Haven Waters. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a beautiful piece of paradise.

We booked in with a large family gathering from down south and up north. Sandy helped us every way she could. The rooms were organised close to each other, they were clean and roomy. We used the pool and BBQ areas which were also clean. Everything was homey, with extras like crockery, cutlery, and utensils in the BBQ area. Richard and Sandy are very friendly people. We can't wait to go back and stay there again 😀

Richard and Sandy are the perfect hosts. Just had our third stay at this lovely motel. Out of all of our travels, this has to be the cleanest and most organised motel we have ever encountered. Location is perfect and the bed is to die for. We highly recommend this gem of a motel if you’re ever passing through. We will definitely be back for our fourth time. 🙌🏻

We spent 2 nights at Haven Waters, 4 adults in a 2 bedroom unit and enjoyed our stay. Centrally located opposite the river and a short walk to the Bowling Club or a long walk along the river and break wall. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were large and clean, a little dated with shower in the bath but the rate is good. Your key gets you discount at the café next door and bowling club. Will stay there again.

Very clean and well presented with spacious rooms. Excellent air conditioning units if required, but if not, rooms also have ceiling fans which is a great option. Staff are very friendly and work hard to make your stay comfortable. The location is awesome, close to cafes, bowling club and the water. The pool and adjoining BBQ area is very well equipped with everything the traveler needs to cook and enjoy a meal if they are looking to eat in. A homey feel. The property is really open with lots of room for vehicle movement and grassed areas to stroll around on. Loved how the position of the majority of the rooms are east facing so plenty of afternoon shade on vehicles and to sit out the front of your room and enjoy a cold drink. I was travelling with my 11 yr old daughter on our motorcycle and she loved the stay as well. She loved the pool and the relaxed and friendly feel. Would definitely stay again.

I had a great 5 night stay at haven waters. The room was a good size, and very comfortable with lounge, small table and chairs and a well equipped kitchenette with toaster and microwave. The pool area is very nice with comfortable sun lounges to enjoy the afternoon breezes and the water temperature is perfect. The location is excellent, being across the road from a walking path to the beach (about 15min walk) and a very short walk to Brewhaven cafe, the local bowling club and a short distance to other cafes and the river baths. Highly recommended for a very comfortable, well priced motel with good facilities and friendly hosts Anna & Nathan.

Lovely location opposite the water & very convenient for our purposes- a family funeral. Family unit with 2 rooms was perfect for us & daughter plus 10month old grandson. The owners provided a portacot for the baby which was great. Apartment was clean & provided all the essentials. Anna & Nathan were very helpful.

Cafes and restaurants within walking distance, who can resist brunch at the Sandbar Cafe? The gardens are well maintained and the pool looks very tempting. Great location - Club North Haven is within walking distance and you receive members discounts as a motel guest. Also within walking distance was Bluehaven Cafe for breakfast and the beach. We have been staying at this motel for 36 years, through several owners and managers. Nathan and Anna are doing a great job. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the grounds and outdoor facilities are excellent. The rates are reasonable and the location is hard to beat.

My family stayed at the 1BR apartment and was adequately accommodating and tidy. The outdoor pool was a plus! It was clean considering it's an outdoor pool. Motel is in a great location walking distance to the beach and shops where we walk to every morning & night. Nathan & his staff were friendly. The young lady managed to give us a smile & a wave goodbye as we drove to exit. Highly recommended.

Room was very comfortable, had everything expected in a motel room. Big bonus was bathroom with very large hand basin (great for hand-washing clothes) plus very small tap spout (great for face washing - didn't bang head on spout once!) plus overhead retractable washing line. Nice kitchenette with proper kitchen sink (could fill kettle without water going everywhere except in kettle!). Well maintained lovely gardens & bbq area with pool. Very friendly staff.

Just spent 8 nights at Haven Waters.... could not fault anything. Owners are courteous, friendly and efficient. Prices are excellent, as are the clean, well maintained facilities. BBQ area is excellent and all cutlery, cooking utensils and crockery are supplied. Pool was clean and inviting. ( A bonus is the lovely motel pooch, Ella, for those missing their pet ) Well located for easy walks to shops, Bowling Club and meanders along the river. Top class all round. We'll be back in 2020 for the North Haven Bowling Club's Riverview Carnival for sure.

Very clean & comfortable motel with excellent ammenities onsite. Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the stay, with great access to waterfront walks and restaurant/Cafe within 50 meters, served excellent breakfast and dinner options. Also licences club and other restaurants within walking distance.

Our family had our biennial reunion at Haven Waters Motel since 2005. The Motel,is situated in a magnificent place close to shops, clubs and waters. The grassed area is ideal for young children to run around and the pool is always an attraction. The rooms are well equipped and very clean and airy. The barbecue area is very convenient and safe with the fence around it. There were 28 members of our family, including children and the rooms being close together and in a spacious area it is ideal for a family re union. Thank you.

The lady at desk was very cheerful explained they affiliated with bowling club and just let them know your staying with them and get discount on food and drink so was nice option. The room was very roomy modern touches was very basic but that’s all I needed after 12 hrs on the road shower was hot bed was comfy I arrived in the dark left in dark so never saw much but was happy and will be back in future

A lovely family friendly getaway that won't break the bank. It's close to the beach and the shops with plenty of parks and walkways and right opposite the water. There's an excellent pool and bbq area and the staff are friendly. The apartments are clean and have everything you need for your stay. The package deals are a great incentive to stay an extra day or two. This place is close to my heart as I've been coming here since I was a baby. Now I love to bring my own family here to enjoy the sunshine and relaxation of this sleepy little town. Well worth a look. 🏖👌🥂

My Husband and I have spent a couple of weekends at Haven Waters Motel and we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.the rooms are nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. The pool and spa area is a real treat with sun lounges and plenty of room for sunbathing on the lovely lawn. There is even an undercover bbq with plenty of bench space and a sink to prepare meals, as well as picnic tables. It is really positioned well with shops and cafes just a short stroll along the water front. The river is directly across the road and it is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. The managers Ron and Jo are very friendly and helpful, they seem to know quite a bit about the local area. They really make you feel welcome and at home. It is well worth a visit even if a stop over on the way to Brisbane or a quiet getaway.

Excellent location, well priced, clean well appointed room with kitchen facilities. Owners/staff friendly and helpful, pool facility. If you are looking for a holiday/getaway in the North Haven area this is the place to stay. Booked accommodation again for next year.

It's right opposite the river and apart from being nice and clean and affordable the owners are a lovely couple who gave us heaps of tips on what to do.
