A. M.Wonderful weekend spent in Oberon for a wedding. The Highlands Motor Inn was perfect. very clean, very comfortable and Bill and Sharon amazing hosts. Staff very accommodating. Room 3 has the best shower I have ever had (big call as I am a seasonal traveler). Thank you Bill and Sharon - hope to be back.
K. M.Room was super clean and modern. Nice extra touches with chocolates, robes, slippers and even a facial kit with the bathroom toiletries. Very quiet room. Bill was a friendly and welcoming host. Would highly recommend staying here.

M. M.Sharon & Bill made us feel very welcome. Nothing was any trouble. The rooms were exceptionally clean. It was cold at the time of our visit, but the rooms are so well insulated we didn't even require the heating on. It's within easy walking distance of anywhere in town.

a. m.Wonderful accommodation. Warm welcome from your hosts, excellent room with great internal features (coffee capsule machine, welcome chocolates), fridge and microwave, modern spacious bathroom. I will stay here again in future travels through and to Oberon. The hotel is also in very close proximity to town, with many shops within easy walking distance. Thanks for a great stay.

G.It's not very often I give a five star rating but on this occasion very well worth it from the time I booked in with Sharon I was made to feel very welcome, her directions re room and amenities were clear and accurate on entering the room it felt like home clean tidy with a load of extras fresh milk nice touch, beautiful colour scheme ,very cosy bed, the shower another story unbelievably hot strong super clean bathroom nice little touch on bathroom extras, spa gel soap, shower cap normal soap ,breakfast brilliant eggs poached to perfection,well done Sharon,lovely manicured gardens, table and chairs out side great place to eat breakfast if staying in Oberon would consider this motel as first choice .

We spent 3 very restful & quiet nights here & have no hesitation in recommending this Motel to friends. All in all a wonderful experience.

This would have to have been the cleanest room we have ever stayed in. It was also very comfortable with lots of warm blankets, a comfortable bed, and lovely fluffy towels.
Highly recommend and we look forward to being able to have a longer return visit.

Great shower with excellent pressure and the cleanest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a motel. Clean and tidy grounds as well.
S.It is clear hosts Bill and Sharon know exactly what they are doing and take the care and well being of their guests seriously especially during covid-19. The room was super clean (even the window sill) and the modern bathroom looked recently renovated. Bed was a little soft but some people like it that way. Excellent stay.

The room was super clean and cosy, plus the electric blanket was a luxury. Great value for the price. The couple were very accommodating and friendly, would defiantly stay again!

D. T.This is a gem of a place to stay, from the moment we booked in to speaking to the owners on the way out we were treated to good old fashioned service and local knowledge. On the weekend we stayed the temperature got down to -5 overnight or lower and we were warm and cozy in the room the bed was super comfy, the bathroom was great and it was nice to see coloured towels. I would not have any hesitation in staying again and we are planning a spring trip back.

Our room was very nice, looked almost new with comfortable bed, chairs, etc and a fantastic new modern bathroom. We were very impressed indeed. Short stroll to a delicious dinner at the Royal Hotel. Recommend everyone takes the very scenic drive to Oberon & a happy stay at the Highlands Motel, you won’t be disappointed. Worth the drive from Central Queensland ! Thanks heaps.

If I had to recommend a place to stay in Oberon, it would definitely be the Highlands Motor Inn.
J. W.One of the best motel's I have stayed in. Both Bruce and Marcia are excellent host and local knowledge is excellent. The room was clean and tidy with everything you need to enjoy and rest up. Very close to the town centre within walking distance to all the pubs and restaurants in town. I would stay here again. Extremely clean and comfortable. A piece of tranquillity and peacefulness in a small town. Locals are nice and helpful and if want a chat go to one of the local pubs or rsl club with awesome food and drinks.
A. H.Nice and clean large rooms, bathroom is nice and modern. WiFi doesn't work, has a bar fridge but no microwave. To use BBQ facility, staff need to prior notice to set it up for you. Towels and toiletries aren't refilled each day. Minor issues but the rooms were nice and clean overall. Would stay again.

b.Highly recommend this place. The room was clean, the bathrooms were modern, and the owners were very friendly. A short walk to the main street of town and all the food outlets. The wifi was a little tricky, but the owner explained they're in the process of changing providers so I'm sure that'll be sorted out in no time. The shower head was quite low so a bit hard to use if you're taller than 5'10" but otherwise the bathroom was fantastically designed with modern fittings and a really spacious shower. A slightly later checkout than 10:00am would've been nice, but we were the last guests to leave in the morning so maybe we're just lazy! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we were in Oberon. Also, we got the best rate by booking directly through the Highland's Motor Inn website!

J. I.Highlands Motor Inn is located just around the corner from Oberon's main street. Our room was well presented and a nice size. There was no microwave, but we had a small TV and electric kettle. Tea bags, coffee sachets and bickies were supplied.
The bed was a little hard, but that posed no problem for us as that's how we prefer it.
The lady at reception was lovely, and was happy to help in any way she could.
She did mention to me, however, that the WiFi had been playing up, and some people unfortunately had no access.
Overall, I'd be pleased to recommend Highlands Motor Inn as a pleasant place to use a base for exploring the surrounding area.
