Great hotel and location is close to everything. As a diamond member we were upgraded to a very spacious room. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Buffet breakfast had an excellent selection and well worth it. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed in Ambassador Suite, great suite. Staff were pretty nice and did everything I needed. Executive lounge was great as always but hot food choices not as good as others I've been to. Day time food also lacking and opening only 2 hours in evening was disappointing. Over all a great stay and looking forward to returning.

Spent 5 nights at Hilton Sydney. Excellent location, everything is easily accessible. Hotel staff is very friendly and approachable. From Breakfast at Glass to the Executive lounge and the high tea and Marble bar everything is amazing and luxurious. Only thing is the indoor pool is not heated and the water was extremely cold. 1 star less for the pool otherwise overall brilliant.

Awesome location! Everything you want or need is within walking distance. The public transport is close but I did not use it. Very nice rooms, amenities will be better post COVID!

Stayed here for Christmas. Easy and helpful check-in. Used the Secure car parking below. Lift straight up to reception. The room was small but well presented and very clean. Partial views of Town Hall. Cleaning service worked around my schedule. Room service food was fairly average. I had an expensive steak and some rubbery eggs the next day for breakfast.

This is my first time reviewing a hotel. And I am pleased to give this a 5 star and beyond rating. It has been 3 years since I last stayed, and the stay was very refreshing and pleasant. Service staff as usual was on point. I made a few calls regarding my parcel deliveries, and concierge team were super friendly and helpful.
I would like especially like to commend on the housekeeping team. By accident, I left something important behind when I checked out only to realise about 12 hours later. I immediately contacted the hotel staff via google chat and they responded within minutes. They told me that housekeeping had picked it up and left my stuff with the lost department. I am super grateful for their honesty, efficiency and hospitality.
I would recommend anyone who is travelling to Sydney whether for work or holiday to have their accommodation being taken care of by Hilton Sydney.

Upgraded to a Suite and found it well worthwhile. Breakfast at Glass is a standout (eggs benedict is included if you ask!) every time. Executive lounge is upstairs or offered at class, both were well staffed and beverage options and food were good. Room was large, clean and well appointed and marble spa was lovely. Concierge staff were good and helped us with a taxi. Only hiccup was with the parking, as we were given the wrong ticket and then had to sort it out between the parking company and the hotel. Otherwise, great stay.

Very accommodating, they gave us a microwave and everything we needed. The coffee here is also amazing. Honestly better than an Airbnb as you know for sure it will be clean.

I had originally booked into another hotel as it was close to the Theatre Royal, and walking is difficult for my wife. They refused to honour the conditions of the booking, so I demanded a refund and left.
The Hilton was a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the woman at the front desk, but she was simply amazing. She took care of everything, so courteously and efficiently.
The room was immaculate. Not a thing out of place, and not a spec of dust to be seen.
The Hilton turned an unmitigated disaster into a joyous evening.
Thank you.

We visited the glass brasserie as part of a work lunch. Firstly let me say it felt really good to see people able to dine in again. It was reasonably busy. The food was delicious and lived up to Luke Mangan's reputation. The service was also pleasant and overall we had an enjoyable experience. Prices are what you would expect from a venue like Hilton. Definitely worth the visit.

We have stayed at the Hilton Sydney before and have booked it again to stay there this weekend, one of the reasons why we are repeat customers is because the staff and their professional service and their warmth in dealing with us from the moment of booking right up to our check out was absolutely amazing , back in 2019. We dealt with a member of reservations Team her name is Ebony, she is such a lovely person so helpful and pleasant to deal with she went above and beyond in the reservation process by noting our special requests and giving us useful information, during the phone call she realised that she had booked our reservation back in 2019 , good staff and lovely customer service often goes by unnoticed… but I can honestly say, Ebony is one of the good ones, so excited about our upcoming stay at the Hilton…. It never disappoints…

I recently stayed in the City Suite - the room was perfectly clean, spacious, and well appointed. The bed was fantastic, and the powder room was a great extra to have. Service throughout was wonderful - from the moment you walk in and are greeted, to requests for assistance (we had a minor issue with the TV, and staff arrived within minutes to sort it out), it was fantastic.
Executive lounge access is definitely worth having - drinks and canapes in the evening and breakfast in the morning are both great. The breakfast selection is fantastic.
My only criticism is that for a 5 star hotel, staying in a suite, there was no netflix/streaming options - it was still $15.95 per movie. Other hotels (eg Crystalbrook Kingsley) offer streaming and free movies, but this is a small point overall.
M. W.
We have stayed here a few times. We tend to book the spa bath room. The room is very large - not cramped at all. Staff are friendly and good atmosphere. I wouldn’t dine at the restaurant, however the hotel is lovely.

Loved this hotel! Fantastic Location on George St!! esp to Shops/Public transport. Great price compared to other hotels around - so thought let's try the famous 'Hilton'. Will definately come back again. Lovely staff. Easy check-in and out. Many lifts to get to room, Corner Room level 23 - nice space - love the room features - aircon, Roller Block-out blind, comfy bed n pillows, and my fave surprised me - tv screen in shower! Would have expected few more complimentaries being Hilton? ie. lil toiletries toothbrush (forgot mine!) but I believe this is what they meant by the impact of Covid? I'll give 5 star as loved our hotel room and location was perfect for us, everything was in walking distance and being beginning on Lunar new year lovely set ups along George St to get the camera clicking :)
L. W.
Nice enough stay but not value for money. Expensive room with sheer blinds and a cockroach. Bathroom very squeezy and gym access difficult. Staff were lovely though and room otherwise very clean.

We have just returned from two nights at the Hilton. We had a great stay!
When we arrived we were given a free upgrade, my daughter loved being on the top floor! Ivana on reception was so helpful and friendly. She made a real fuss of my daughter while were checking in, adding to the excitement of our little girls trip.
My friend checked in the day after us and Ivana arranged for her to also be upgraded so she could be in a room near mine.
The room was very clean and very comfortable. My daughter enjoyed the pool (we went four times in two days!!). Being able to order different pillows from the pillow menu was great too.
Room service was not great but still ok.

Great accommodation in the heart of the CBD. The connecting rooms made our family getaway more enjoyable. Great location and good treated by lovely staff ! We'll be back

The Hotel is situated in a fantastic location right on Pitt St Mall.
There is an underground car park on either side of the Hilton. We accidentally parked in the wrong parking station. We realised 1hr later and it cost $30 to move the car. The Hilton has a deal for $59 per night. We paid $89 due to my mistake.
Arriving in our executive suite no. 3206 we found it to be very nice with great views over the city. Since it was NYE 21/22 we were very happy to be able to see some of the harbour bridge poking through the buildings. We could also see the garden island navy boats. The suite also had a lounge area and seperate bedroom.
The room was incredibly hot and I could not get the air conditioning to go lower. We called and asked for maintenance, and also some complimentary water and an ice bucket. The water was offered to us at $8 a bottle. We refused to pay this.
We went for a walk and returned to complimentary afternoon tea in the cafe. This consisted of two of each - egg Sandwich, scone with jam and cream, mini cream pastry and tea or coffee. It was very nice!
After returning to our room we realised that the temperature had not dropped much after 2 hours. I messaged the hotel through our phone app and they said they would send maintenance. There was a lot of messaging back and fourth.
We left and went to the executive lounge on level 36. We had a lovely view and were treated to complimentary drinks and canapés. Celebrity Chef Luke Mangion’s pork ravioli and noodle salad were beyond delicious. We also had prawns, a trio of cheeses, potato salad, trio of cold meats (no prosciutto), fruit, biscuits and pretzels. Drinks were standard spirits but good quality. We had Chivas Regal and gin and tonics. They served wines and two types of beer also.
Our room was still hot when we returned. The thermostat said 21.5 degrees out while stay. The engineer got a reading of 17.5 but only from inside the fan vent, not the actual room. I was a bit embarrassed to have to call again when the lounge TV didn’t work, and the aqua tv in the bathroom was also not working. This delayed us getting ready and as a result we missed the 9pm fireworks. This was disappointing! We waited for the maintenance man who was very courteous and polite. He fixed things quickly. A highlight was a soak in the long bath while watching dirty dancing on the aqua vision tv. I watched fireworks from the room.
Shortly after a young man knocked on the door and presented us with an ice buckets, a bottle of wine and glasses. I’m assuming this was in the form of an apology.
We went out and watched the midnight fireworks. We were treated to a Jimmy Barnes concert also. I had a great sleep. The pillows were like clouds to sleep on. In the morning we had a complimentary breakfast in glass restaurant. The usual breakfast buffet with bacon, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, tomato, pastries, juices, fruit and cheese. I ordered an omelette and coffees. Barista brewed coffee were charged at $5 each.
The hotel was clean, and staff were mostly friendly. Check out was simple. We enjoyed our stay!

The Hilton was beautiful. We stopped there overnight before our flight in the morning and the staff was amazing they made sure everything was perfect upon our arrival. The views across the city were spectacular.

Stayed for two nights as had an event in the city. Room was clean, nice ammenities, everything you would expect from a decent hotel. Bathroom lights was flickering and eventually died on our last day there. Bedside lamps needed the main room light to be switched on in order to work which was a tad complex to navigate. Switching on the main light turned on all the down lights and kitchenette area as well as hall way lights which made night time a bit awkward as I generally prefer a bit of light and for the room not to be pitch black. Usually I would leave the bathroom light on, however, the flickering light made that impossible. There were two pendant lamps which we could turn on near the tv without switching on all the other lights, however, those were too bright as a night light alternative. Reception and concierge were great, check in process was very stress free. Room was very clean and hotel was easily accessible via George and Pitt street which was great. Very close to the light rail, trains and Woolies, QVB and Pitt street mall. Great dinner locations just a small walk down Pitt street towards Chinatown.

We love staying at the Hilton Sydney- it is so perfectly located in the heart of Sydneys CBD, the breakfast is probably the best in town and the rooms are very confortable and relaxing for families. We always love our stay in your hotel. We will be back shortly no doubt.
E. A.
It was such a pleasure staying at your Hilton Sydney hotel. Staff were courteous and helpful. Our room and amenities were impeccable which made it a very enjoyable staff. Thank you and well done! See you next time!
A. H.
Pros: Great view of Sydney Tower from room and good variety of foods at breakfast buffet.
Cons: Room was not cleaned properly ie hairs found in bathtub, bathroom floor and lounge. Robes provided were rough on skin and there was only one hot option during canapes in executive lounge.
M. I.
As a family of 4 with 2 kids under 12, we visited the hotel as it had just reopened after lockdown and was initially disappointed that some of the key services were still not open during the week for us to enjoy. However, the hotel manager and the rest of the team made some adjustments to the usual routines and this really made a difference to our stay. I'd really like to thank the team @Hilton Sydney for making our family stay feel special and enjoyable!
H. C.
Perfect location. Room always clean. Staffs are very friendly. One of best executive lounge in Hilton chains around the world that I experienced.
M. I.
Just want to thank Hilton hotel for their continued support over the past 7 years. Whether it's a business meeting or catching up with potential clients staff have always helped by being extra friendly and serving high quality brunch. Love the Mocha and chocolate eclairs ❤️ My clients and I have always felt like home when we enter Hiltons and the hotel rooms are very comfortable.

The Hilton Hotel is situated perfectly for a girly break. Positioned in the heart of the city's shopping district and many dining choices.
We indulged in the excellent dining and bar facilities onsite, enjoyed the spa, sauna and gym and rested up in our modern and ultra clean hotel room.
The Art Gallery and the Botanic Gardens are a short walk away.
Overall very much recommended!

Great place to stay in Sydney BUT the breakfast experience is a let down.
Definitely overpriced for what you get . Long wait for a coffee or just tea or coffee from the pot. Food was mostly cold even if it was supposed to be hot! Clearly not enough staff for the size of the restaurant.
Queuing was dreadful . Very long wait to even get into the restaurant and then queuing again for food. Management needs to look for some alternative methods

Review is for February 2021. We found it to be not up to the standard of other Hilton Hotels we've stayed in. Reception staff were great, room was nice enough and the location is super convenient. The breakfast was terrible - poor selection of food that was cold. We wanted eggs which they make and bring over to you. We were left waiting there for about 25 minutes for fried eggs. We saw the chef make them and they sat in the warmer for ages whilst the wait staff were chatting and doing other things. We finally asked if our eggs were ready after almost half an hour and a waiter went over and brought the ones that were sitting in the warmer for over 20 minutes. What was worse was that there was hardly any other guests in there. It is easily one of the worst breakfasts I've had in a major hotel chain.

Fantastic stay as usual at one of my favourite hotels. Great staff, nice breakfast.
C. M.
I am not sure if they have minimum staff on duty but I called twice for toiletry item like shower gel and it was not brought to me at all till the time I checked out. Even a phone call to the service hotline took at least 10 minutes to be answered.
M.
My favourite hotel. Great service and value for money with the executive lounge access.

Hilton Sydney is a very clean and safe hotel with very helpful staff.
It is in a great central location with close access to Trains, Trams and buses.
J. S.
Very disappointing. We were given our room and checked in.
On entering my wife wanted to go to the toilet.
As she lifted the lid she saw that someone had done a number 2 and had not flushed.
Hilton has signs all over saying they are taking extra precautions in cleanliness.
How can a cleaner miss something so obvious as a dirty toilet?
We were given a different room and the assistant flushed the toilet, removing any evidence of the lack of hygiene.
We used to travel extensively before Covid and we thought that rooms were checked after the cleaner.
Maybe Hilton doesn't have this requirement?
J. K.
Great location and good amenities. Nice rooms and good service. It's nice to be appreciated for loyalty at this hotel
J. J.
Great rooms and nice buffet. Staff are proactive and helpful.
K. T.
Great room with a view.
The breakfast buffet was excellent.
Staff were all friendly and always smiling.
My only issue was being told the wrong price for overnight parking. When leaving I was charged 3times what I was told. With cars backing up behind me I had no option but to pay the inflated price.
Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay

Great accommodation in the heart of the CBD. The connecting rooms made our family getaway more enjoyable. We'll be back!
S. S.
Great location, good room. Clean, comfortable bed, and bathroom quite nice.
However television would turn off randomly without warning or input which isn't a big issue, but the main complaint is that there was a dull rattling coming from the ceiling that that would start up about 8pm and go until morning. Sounded like a fan (possibly ac or extractor fan), and wasn't very intrusive until I was trying to sleep. Staff were quite responsive and proactive about the issue.
Cannot comment on price/value as I had not paid for it.
L. L.
Good reception service, Paris the lady at reception was helpful and nice. Room was clean and good view. *Only downside is I did request a baby cot at my booking and double check when check in(2pm), and I wait until 9pm still no one send me the cot, and I ring twice to chases for it as my kid need to sleep urgently, and it finally came at 945, A bit disappointed with the lady on phone as she keep saying “ we’re busy we’re busy, “ I do understand that your busy but not with 7 hrs wait for a cot to deliver to our room.
Hope it will improve for our next visit.
B. P.
Gym/Pool not owned or run by hotel- third party which was annoying- and many gym/pool things out of order.
Room clean.
Most staff seemed very new to their roles.
M. S.
Three stars stars for the location. Is this a five star hotel? I don't think so. No Foxtel!! It's 2021! I don't like it.
E. L.
It's a Hilton. Does anything else need to be said? I recently used the conference and event facilities here and it was excellent as well.
B. Q.
Absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Hilton, my partner and i were treated very well by the staff! cant wait for our next visit.
G. D.
The Freedom Dinner with Luke Mangan and his team was a spectacular success and we highly recommend future functions. It was more than worth the Midnight release of tickets!
D. C.
Great stay in a central location. Close to everything and the rooms are comfortable.
E. Z.
Hilton Sydney is an outstanding hotel that requires little introduction.
I've been there many times from staying there, to going to Business Chamber functions, to meeting clients there and more.
It's a top hotel with an outstanding location, amazing service, great rooms and top Conference & Banquet facilities. I know quite a few of the staff there too who are just wonderful.
Highly recommended and LOVE THEIR WORK!
A. Z.
We picked the Hilton for our stay due to it's proximity to everything in the centre of town, it's reputation and quality. We were very happy with our decision. We stayed for five nights and would recommend it for the quality of the service and room, the cleanliness of the room and the helpful staff. We opted to book a package with the continental breakfast which made our stay in Sydney much more comfortable as each morning we could plan out our day in the beautiful resturant in a relaxed manner without having to find somewhere to eat each morning.
M. B.
A world class establishment. Staff who understand the needs of their clientele and the level at which they expect them to be met.
Glass Brassiere was superb and a fabulous way to relax and unwind as well as celebrate.
Looking forward to my next stay.
M. L.
Wonderful hotel, perfectly positioned next to QVB. Staff are excellent!

great hotel. centrally located. ticks all the boxes for a five star stay.

Don't miss out on staying at Hilton Sydney, great location for shopping, bar, restaurants, Light rail and the staff will do their utmost to make your stay special
D. H.
My husband and I stayed here a couple weeks ago. I have to say everything was amazing but what stood out for me the most was the exceptional service from Ronal at the front desk/concierge. Wow! He went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. So friendly, so helpful and so attentive. We will be back because of him and the amazing experience he provided us with. Thanks so much. I hope he gets to see this review.
A.
Great room, much bigger than expected. Usual comfy Hilton bed.
V. S.
First visit after upgrading. Look and feel cosier than previous layout.
I. J.
Great hotel. Staff made me feel very welcome at check-in even though just staying 1 night. Spoke to concierge service about obtaining the special rate for self parking on site in the underground car park. Couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Definitely worthy of the Hilton branding.
L.
nice bed

bathroom floor dirty and could not find any instructions on anything in room

This is a beautiful location. Coveniently located near lots of great venues including Sydney harbor, the eye of Sydney, the big bus stop, lots of shopping and food as well as many historical attractions. The rooms were large, clean and very up to date. The staff were exceptional... helpful and friendly. The view from the room was fabulous.
L.
I love check in here i gv 8star coz near by mall i can go saloon facial and eat window shopping
B. J.
I always love staying here. Excellent service, close to everything and all the bars and restaurants have the best food and superior customer service.
I. P.
No over words but outstanding. From the moment we arrived the door staff were quick and very friendly as they took our luggage and assisted with checkin. The staff that made up our room every day were fantastic, such attention to detail, even folding clothes left laying around the room, did not expect that. The Wagu burgers were to die for too. Highly recommend the Hilton Sydney 10/10 for everything.
m. g.
Brilliant food, the kingfish sashimi is the best entre I have ever had!
G. H.
Was an excellent stay here. Very friendly and very nice room. Allowed my 2 x to eat breakfast free and it was yummy. Very close to everything so not much walking was required. Tram at front door also. Perfect travelling with children
F. B.
Was looking forward to a fantastic night away with my family, and we decided to stay in the Hilton. Unfortunately the 20th floor does not guarantee peace and quiet. The noise from the bar below travels up between the buildings, and creates an eerie feeling of people talking right outside the window - even with the blinds down. We spent a sleepless night in our little room, however made the most of our time in the city, only to return to a $50 fee for parking! I had double checked with the person who had checked us in, on the parking fees as I was surprised by what she had said the first time. Once again she said, 'It's $20 for 24hours. Weekend flat rate.' On returning to the front desk to question the $50 parking fee the following day, I was assured that I was mistaken and that the Assistant Night Manager knows what she's talking about. I must have heard it wrong, but here we can offer you our discounted rate of $58.50...
Would NOT recommend.
K. J.
Booked weekend away in a suite for our anniversary. Service was great in the hotel itself.
Went to Marble Bar for a few drinks on Saturday evening. One of our friends had a reaction to her cocktail and wasn’t well. Our treatment from the security staff as result was beyond unreasonable. We were removed from the venue in the most disrespectful manner. Not happy with our experience at all.
C. K.
Best staff could not have done more for me . Very compasionate and understanding people.
B. J. H.
I left my stuff in the hotel room. Made a call. It was not even 24 hours, they said there was nothing left in the room, the room was clean, and there is nothing in there. Of course, it has to be clean! My fault forgot my stuff; also my fault I chose this hotel. Very disappointed. I used to think Hilton is a high standard hotel.
D. W.
Excellent location, with chic, comfy and clean rooms!
J. T.
Loved our stay here from Adelaide. Perfect central spot to see all the CBD sites, the service from staff was excellent, the breakfast was waiters were awesome. And the best coffee around is at the Cafe in the foyer
A. H.
The location is good for it is accessible for shopping and transporation and food shops. not that far from iconic Landmarks.
D. S.
This hotel stands out with the service provided. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were cleaned daily and communication with guests were up to date via text messages.
Super location - walking distance to everything!

Its good to be travelling again and great to be back staying at Hilton properties.
I recently stayed at the revamped Sydney Hilton. I remember the former Hilton on the same property from my early days in Sydney in the 90s where the Marble Bar was a favorite late-night haunt but enough about that!
My recent stay was very comfortable with superfast check-in as I had done this online so only had to get my room key. The new rooms are quiet, comfortable and in my case since I had an executive suite very spacious with a separate work/lounge area and large bathroom with bath and shower.
Although the excecutive lounge on one of the upper floors (36th floor I think) was closed there was an area in the Glass Restaurant on level 2 that offered evening drinks and breakfast for Executive stayers and Diamond members. In the evening there was a very good selection of hot and cold snacks and a good selection of wines, I chose a kiwi Pino noir. Service came with a smile and was professional without being overbearing.
Excellent breakfast. Great location right opposite QVB so a short walk to trains and off to airport. HHonors program was always one of the best for global travellers in my opinion and is still proving its worth whilst I am restricted to ANZ. Keep up the good work.
R. L.
Brilliant location to have a business discussion.
COVID-19 safe venue.
S. F.
Booked 2 King Rooms for 3 nights. Now we didn't come here to watch TV, but upon return to hotel on Saturday night as we have our daughter with us so can't stay out late, we find there's no Movies, Netflix, or anything of the sort, not even a smart TV. Thought we'd go to the bar then, but it's packed with a queue. Thus if you have kids or might want to relax actually at the hotel, not sure what you'd do...take them to the gym !
J. M.
Stayed here for 4 nights in April. In a corner king premium room. The room size is on the smaller side. Decent views with electric blinds. No mini fridge( there was a fridgez but nothing in it), otherwise all the things expected from a high end hotel were there. The bed was very comfy, but did creak when we moved( got a bit annoying sometimes). The tv system could use some qork. Only free to air tv channels and can't cast anything from your phone. ( although, if you brought a hdmi cable you could hook your computer on).
Room service waa great! Houae keeping was amazing as well.
The restaurant ( Glass) was quite good for the included breakfast. But got a bit tired of it towards day 4. It was a busy weekend for the hotel and there were queues forming for breakfast. The restaurant itself felt a bit like a food court at times, but on less busy mornings it was quite nice.
The major fault is the pool. The pool is a part of the the fitness first gym attached to the hotel. Its not at all relaxing like you would expect from a hotel pool. This was a huge disappointment to us as we were hoping to hang out at the pool and relax. I guess this is the downside of a city hotel.
Overall, loved the stay, but will consider looking at some neighbouring hotels for next time.
e. h.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Its location allowed quick walks to restaurants, bars, etc. The room was clean, but the best feature for me was the black-out blinds that enabled me to get a full night's sleep.
J. D.
HHS never disappoints. Despite the ravages of the past 12 months, still wonderfully warm staff who continue smiling throughout. Can't be easy but much appreciated by my small family during our short stay. Just needed to feel connected to the rest of the world for a couple of days and the Hilton was the booster shot we needed.
D. O.
Overall a great stay.
Ivana on the front desk was super accommodating am helpful.
Glass buffet breakfast being back was great.
K. H.
While we were checking in we got asked if we wanted to upgrade our room , which we definitely said yes to. The view was amazing, as I've never stayed in Sydney before , the room service was 10/10 .The only weird thing was when we turned the tv on it was in someone else's name and the tv would just randomly turn on in the middle of the night. other than that ,we would definitely stay in the Hilton again :)
S. S.
I want to thank the staff at the Hilton, especially the room service staff and cleaning staff, for the way they dealt with the Sydney Covid lockdown that occurred part way during my stay and for making sure I felt safe and comfortable and had everything I needed afterwards. Thank you! Katrina
M. H.
Stayed here for hotel quarantine. The food was mostly good and they give plenty of food. Lots of variety. But the room was a bit small. The WiFi was slow. They charge exorbitant prices for laundry. I ended up hand washing my clothes. Don't make any phone calls using the room phone. They charge like 10 dollars a minute for local calls. Also the bed wasn't completely flat so it was hard to sleep on. But the bathroom was great. there is no Foxtel. The view outside my window was great too.
T. R.
So disappointed😞, if we had been informed on check-in that they don't have mini bar available at the moment and all is room service plus a $5surcharge we would have bought some drinks ourselves 👎
The bathroom was very tired , all the tiles showed signs of mould and wear, no instruction on how to use the TV..when we did order something to drink we then had to ask for a bottle opener too. The restaurant closing at 9.30 was a new one also, what about if we arrived after then? Another room service surcharge 🙄
Basically last time we visited Hilton Sydney on Pitt Street, it's back to the Sofitel for us....
T. C.
I stayed here before. Although the individual porter was a bit unprofessional, because he was rude and didn’t really want to help with my luggage. The service was still good at the front desk. Room was clean and nice view to the CBD and the rest of Sydney.
The bar in the hotel was nice too and it’s located centralised in Sydney, easy access to many things including QVB circular quay and Darling harbour.
S. O.
OUTSTANDING!☆☆☆☆☆ and buffet b'fast is back with all the trim! Order eggs your way and fresh cappuccino or tea of choice to your table makes the level of service here high!
Rooms are spectacular with luxury on many levels depending your room choice.
Huge 2 person spa bath with large window showcasing your outdoor surroundings, t.v to 'soak' up a fav show was a little different than use to. And well recieved with the kids
Shower was amazing with 3 water options..from the traditional rain over head to jets that are set from the wall for a pressured water therapy option onto your back. ...
Much much more on offer here.
* electronic blinds
*peep window in bed head opening to city view
*toothbrush and all expected amenities
*Universal chargers
To name a few.
The most surprising of all here was 2 toilet options! One very smartly placed behind the kitchette and the other traditionally placed in the showering area.
Its super location, lovely views from most areas of hotel....and the overall feel of this hotel makes it one we will definitely be back for!
For ref our room# was 3025

Did my 14 day quarantine at the Hilton Sydney. The room was spacious and clean, the meals were a bit hit and miss but overall it was fine for quarantine standards. The staff were super helpful and it was a hassle free quarantine. Would happily quarantine at the Hilton again!
S. S.
Easily the best located high end hotel in Sydney. Rooms are generous in amenities (given Covid19 restrictions). Lovely views and very friendly staff. We've returned here multiple times.
D. L.
One of the best hotels I've stayed at and staff are amazing.
M. B.
I stayed at this hotel for two nights last year after a cruise. This excellent hotel experience truly assuaged the disappointment of being off of the cruise ship. The staff were very professional and helpful. The hotel is located in the middle of a very busy area; walking distance from an array of shops and eateries. And the view from the room was simply amazing!!

Stayed in a city suite. The room was large and comfortable, and the view was amazing. The bathroom was excellent, with a bath with a view. In room dining was also excellent. My only issue was cost: I expected a premium price, but even so the price for room service and internet, etc was high

Stayed here for my 14 day quarantine after my international flight before my onward journey to Melbourne. Beautiful room, the food was healthy, well balanced and delicious. I did choose to go vegetarian though. I'm sure the hotel would have offered a much better experience should it have been under better circumstances.

I booked on site booking.command we are Diamond members. When arrived told that because booked through that site our Diamond membership benefits did not apply . Never know that but she did upgrade our room which was nice.
Once in room there is only free to air TV - no Foxtel NO movies or Sport or anything just free to air .
When asked they said due to Covid they had to cancel . We just stayed in a 4 star Motel and they had Foxtel .... seriously how can you not supply Foxtel in a 5 Star Hotel - just wanted to relax with and watch a movie order room service after a big few days but Nope ! Very disappointing
K. H.
Lovely rooms unfortunately after a big day of exploring we wanted to lay in bed and watch a movie ... no on demand movies to purchase and no streaming sites available. Very disappointing for a 5* hotel to have no in room movies available.
M. D.
I've been in quarantine for 14 days here on the 24th floor. I have to say I think I struck as lucky as I could. My room is very comfortable, bed huge and comfortable, bathroom more than adequate (even a tv in the shower!). During my stay the food has been excellent..although I'm now craving something very boring! I would definitely return under different circumstances and am confident I would enjoy my stay.

I recently choose the Sydney Hilton for my birthday escape, a little respite from the pandemic blues. I am so happy I made the decision. Without going into too much detail, it is and was pure relaxing pleasure. Beginning with the warmest welcome of any hotel in the world, the broad smiles and sparkling eyes of SooYeon and Paris at reception always make me feel like a beloved family member returning home. Moin with his true understanding of hospitality and connection to guests, Jess, this lady is 100% management material, she understands travel, warmth, generosity and courteous hosting like no one else I’ve encountered in the industry, the concierge and forecourt teams are always there when you need them and treat your car and belongings with the upmost of care, I could go on and on.. what a perfect team. Freshly refurbished, beautiful decor, sumptuous beds and linen, delicious dining at Luke Mangan’s Glass, absolutely impeccable premises and hoteliers. The location is ideal , surrounded by great coffee spots like Workshop, economically priced exotic grocery stores (Thai Kee IGA), unbelievably good restaurants such as Bistecca and The salubrious QVB adjacent. My journey with the Hilton Sydney will be different to yours but I can guarantee you one thing, if you stick with Hilton you will build a wealth of blissful memories. Try them out and really experience hospitality!

High quality establishment, friendly staff, & beautiful room fixtures. Best 5 star hotel I've stayed in for a while!
S. b.
Excellent staff, received early check-in, room was very clean though a bit small given the otherwise luxurious nature of the hotel.
N.
Was advised could get parking, however upon arriving there was no parking available at all, so spent 1.5 hours trying to find a Carpark. Ended up paying extra money for parking and missed the meeting we had planned. Line to check in was out the door. Definitely not a 5 star experience.
S. H.
Was here during my quarantine. Meals were good. Some days good, some days excellent. Always balanced meal: grains, fruit's, vegetables, a little sugar. Ac is a little heavy in sound. Also, the lift make some background noise.
b. a.
I do love staying at this hotel. It does help to have status with Hilton, as the Executive Lounge is great. Cocktail hour with food in the evening, and then hassle free breakfast in the morning. The room sizes are good as well. If you do go to the main restaurant for breakfast, allow plenty of time to sample all the goodies. Breakfast will see through the whole day.
A. P.
We went to the Glass brasserie at the Hilton. On arrival we were treated like a criminal because I got in a lift and there was 1 other person in it. I was told to leave And threatened by the bouncer that if he had to come up and throw was out there would be big trouble. We do not drink alcohol so we were not drunk, we were well-dressed well presented and just simply did not deserve such bad service from a five star hotel. Our dinner for two was over $400 and it just spoiled the whole night. We have dined at several Hilton Hotels throughout the world and never have been treated so badly for such a minor issue and we will never go back
J. H.
Firstly, the positives...
The rooms were immaculate, with a combination of great decor and a comfortable bed. A brilliant bathroom with a shower and full size bath was also included. The staff at the Hilton couldn’t have been more courteous and friendly, and handled every enquiry with diligence and care.
And the negatives....
The room itself was difficult to use, with an awkward lighting system, and a Smart TV that didn’t seem to want to connect to my phone. Furthermore, the lack of Foxtel and audio system in the room (the alarm clock was just that, not even a radio) was below what one would expect from a five star hotel. As for the amenities in the hotel, the pool and gym (leased out to Fitness First, who subsequently allot Hilton Guests back in) was very hard to get into, with a sign in required and a mobile phone required to unlock the door, and and the pool itself was freezing which is unacceptable for an indoor pool. Bizarrely, the spa was sealed off while the pool was open for use, and the steam room shut while the sauna was open.
Overall, I’d have to say I expected more from the Hilton, and I wouldn’t be in a rush to return anytime soon.
N. T.
Extremely disappointed with Hilton security. Booked a reservation at Glass Brassiere for nice dinner. After waiting for the lift for 10 mins we tried to enter the lift with another person already inside, without realising the limitations. The security guard verbally abused us like some drunk who is causing fuss at a pub threatened to be thrown out. That ruined the entire evening. I would avoid going there again. Shame I loved the restaurant!
K. M.
Great experience every time we stay here. Central location and friendly staff. Food at breakfast buffet was best we have had at any aus hotel (photo from before Covid)
M. G.
Had the best night here. A beautiful place to stay kid free. Love the blackout shades and the spa was fantastic. So many great spots to get a drink and something to eat. The executive lounge is a big bonus and worth the extra money to stay in a executive room. Can't wait for our next visit.
A. T.
Glass Brasserie is a nice place for a special meal. Was a bit disappointed that the lamb wasn't warm nor were the chips (that were replaced as soon as we pointed it out).
M. R.
I am a Hilton Honors member and a huge proponent.
(Almost) everything about this one is great. The staff are extremely helpful, the Marble Bar is good. Glass had a good dinner and a great staff.
Just don't order room service breakfast. I'd suggest a revamp of that, because absolutely nothing about it was worth the money.
One more thing - don't let the photos fool you. The "pool and jacuzzi" are actually an adjacent fitness center with its own members. You can't just order a drink at the hotel bar and sit by the pool - forget it.
But again - the staff are EXTREMELY great. They will help you find whatever you're after in the neighborhood.
C. G.
High class hotel that truly deserves its 5-star rating. Excellent location right in the middle of all the action. Nice views from higher floors. The only downside is parking - which is not owned by the hotel. You need to visit parking cashier (and pay) each day before you take your car. This is a major inconvenience, but I can't compare to other downtown hotels (it's the only one I stayed in) and I heard parking is a huge problem in downtown Sydney, so not taking off any points.
s. a.
Nice rooms, block out blinds in a great location.
The rooms aren't huge but acceptable for the superb location.
Importantly the desks are big for a hotel, so very good for working at.
Lighting is good too so comfortable if you have to work late.
Reception staff are really friendly.
P. J.
The hotel was great, the conceirge were really friendly. They said happy wedding anniversary to me. The hotel even gave us small cakes because we went there on our wedding anniversary. The swimming pool left a bit to be desired as its the swimming pool for fitness first platinum downstairs. We went to the breakfast buffet expecting a lot. But it was just a standard breakfast buffet...the best part was the scrambled egg, fresh juice and the pastry. The hotel room was great, nothing to complain about. the location of the hotel was perfect- in the centre of the city. Overall a great stay.
H. N.
Given this is a 5 star hotel and heard so many good things about it, we were very disappointed. First of all the bar is not opened, understand with the covid situation but this is not stated on the website.
Hotel was very under staffed. Then we had booked breakfast which we waited for over half an hour for service and another half an hour before any food came out. After our wait our omelette came out with very little to no filling and was extremely watery which i could not eat...
K. M. F.
Good place for hang out in the weekend, nice cocktail & fun.
J. R.
Mediocre experience in mediocre hotel. Check-in staff was not very friendly, hardly a smile or a thank you for being a Gold member. Minimum upgrade was offered. Linen in the bed were dirty when we arrived (towels and bed linen). Rooms are outdated and need an upgrade. Room service staff was friendly. Breakfast for Gold members only included continental breakfast, we had to pay 29AUD each for a full breakfast with hot dishes - ridiculous, the Novotel breakfast included everything. Thanks to Juliana for the nice service in the breakfast area.
Overall, the most disappointing experience we had with Hilton. We won’t be back, and we will skip Hilton hotels in the near future.
T. B.
Great Hotel with decent breakfast
V. C.
Superficially, it has everything you could ask for; ideally suited in the centre of town, close to most retail, restaurants and attractions, transport is easy with light rail, trains and buses close by.
Front desk service is very good and facilities like the swimming pool (large) are ideal.
My only real quibble is that it is typical of a modern international hotel and is soulless, lacking personality and any unique design - but again, this is not what Hilton is about - you get what you expect.
Parking is expensive, $80 per night, would question the need for a car in town when you think about these charges.
The lounge is temporarily moved to Glass and this is a huge plus for international guests although the Sunday devonshire tea is such a disappointment - scones just don't do it for me
N.
Excellent location, convenient for shopping and public transport. Service was good with all staff being polite and friendly. Room was neat and tidy, our room was facing an office building, which was pretty close, so we had to keep our blinds down for privacy during the day. Some basic bathroom amenities were lacking, we had to call to get basic things like toothbrushes, comb, cotton buds.
L. B.
Staying here tonight and the heating In our room is not working. After three calls and a visit from maintenance we had to have a noisy portable heater installed in our room. Pool and spa closed. Glass restaurant closed. Buffett breakfast not available so have to have the breakfast we paid extra for in our tiny cold room. None of this was explained to us when we booked. We booked a five star hotel to avoid anything like this happening.
E. M.
The lobby is sleek and contemporary and imposing. This has its advantages, including impeccable, efficient company, but somehow the hotel and its employees were also warm and friendly. Rooms are modest, so spring to get a bigger room or hope for an upgrade. The Comfort Rooms are particularly amazing. The perspectives match the ceremony, and the place is also a bonus, straight across from Victoria Center. The hotel can be surprisingly quiet for such a huge facility. This was my second visit and I will certainly return.
J. P.
Great service and location, next to Town Hall station and very beautiful and comfy rooms.
However,
The room keys sometimes don’t work.
Also as you can see in the picture, they don’t wash their glasses properly. I wonder if the sheets are really clean.
Not many power outlets in the room.
No toothbrushes.
Amenities as body soap, shampoo and conditioner are small in quantity.
No coin laundry or laundromat.
And the well-known AUTOMATIC MINIBAR. yes, they will charge anything that has been moved even if you haven’t consumed them.
Besides that, all good! Cheers!
T. P.
Just cant fault this hotel. Its absolutely gorgeous restaurant and rooms. They do take care of hilton honor members.
Gorgeous view from the room and from executive lounge.
Best breakfast from glass brasserie.
Shame we were unable to have dinner due to refurb
Service was impeccable
Well done
L.
The hotel is tired and shows signs of weariness. My relaxation room had a huge coffee table with glass top which nearly slid off its legs. The lobby resembles a very busy market with guests lolling about all day long. Service overall from lounge to the cafe to reception was variable. It just felt as if everybody was run off their feet. They were too busy to pay you any attention unless they were trying to sell you an upgrade. I wouldn't recommend this hotel in a hurry.
O. p.
Very comfortable room, very comfortable bed. All the mod cons you need and some you don't need. Lovely check in staff at reception. Perfect for my stay to attend a conference nearby. Traffic's a bit crazy but hey, you are in the middle of Sydney!
G. B.
Stayed five nights while vacationing in AU in August 2019. Clean and at the heart of the city. Only drawback is that it’s a bit steep in price for a rather small room and staff could be a little more friendlier, in my opinion. We had to ask for pillows and other items more than two times.
If you’re a tourist be aware.. Construction around the hotel made getting in and out of the hotel a bit difficult. Hotel doesn’t have Car park, but offers validation to a nearby public ramp. By the end of it, we ended up wishing we didn’t rent a car. The public transit offers a better way of getting around the city without the hassle of navigating the city on your own.
M. J. C.
Fantastic stay, I love staying here!
A. R.
The stay was definitely wasn't Hilton standards. I have made the management aware of my experience during the stay.
A. G.
Eh, stayed there for one night recently. Room was decent with the linens probably the biggest draw-card here.
However, they're still using 'minibar' fridges from what look like 25 years ago. Tiny and literally only there to service the minibar, as everything inside are on pressure plates to automatically credit your account if removed. Had to take stuff out to chill some Champagne and wine (fridge is literally so small it will ONLY fit 2 bottles of wine, nothing else). After that the fridge has a remote lock that automatically triggered, so I couldn't even open the fridge after the first 2 times anyway - in what 5 star hotel is this considered luxurious?
To their credit, it was easy to remove all the extra charges ($122) worth of minibar items that were automatically credited when I put my wine in the fridge, but this should not be a thing in the first place.
Lastly, when I got to my room, there were food scraps still on the floor from the previous customer (chicken bone and some pieces of chicken), not sure how that got missed, but the last thing I want to do when I get to my hotel room is pick up someone else's garbage.
The 3 stars are attributed to the location and relatively competitive price when you take that into account. Everything else average at best.
R. M.
Stayed allot over the years.
The renovation has been worth it as the decor is much improved.
Well worth the money and service is great!!
Covid 😷 safe
T. J.
Executive lounge still closed although you can go to the Zeta bar for an evening drink and 3 pieces of canapse. Still a way to go to get back to their old levels of service.
a. g.
Room was good, view was good but pool on B1 was not heated SO we didn't swim. Shower wasn't hot, warm water only. Bed was nice but pillows were not good.
L. L.
Amazing Service thank you
This is quarantine accomdation and food👌 frindly caring staff great care from the medical team, top security from aitport with police and military take our luggage right into the room. I thank God that we are doing quarantine here in the Hilton 488 George st.
No complaints at all from room 2818😇👍👌
Never been locked in my room so long in my life, but what a room the desk staff even instructed us on how to conect the PS4 so my son can play games.
Only one issues i be fatter when i leave the food is so so good and so so much.
A big thank you from Axel and Philip to all the staff we will enjoy the next 10 days stuck in our room..🥰🙂😇👍👌
R. U.
Excellent location between George and Pitt Street. Reception staff very good and nice hall in general. The swimming pool can be cured more but it’s part of a free service given by a third party. The breakfast is worth the money and the staff is also there very good.
The rooms need an update.
In the end, I can suggest it for a short stay.
K. D.
Very nice hotel in a great location. The room was perfect and the views were really great. Room service was very good. The bed and linens were comfortable and the staff was friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay here again.
S. I.
Stayed here over the weekend as we were seeing a show in the city. Good convenient location and comfortable rooms, even though they are a little small. Great benefits for diamond members including full breakfast at glass brasserie. Breakfast selection is great, one of my favourite hotel breakfasts. Omelette is hit and miss - my husbands was great but mine was very overcooked and dry.
D. G.
Small rooms but great hotel. Bathroom shower has a tv on the wall. The bed and duvet are brilliant. Staff is excellent. Breakfast is outstanding. Best location ever.
s.
Always excellent service and attentive staff. Rooms very comfortable. Will continue to use Hilton
R. K.
Have stayed here many times over the years for work and the staff and facilities are always lovely. The location is central and if you need a hand with anything the staff are always happy to help. Always stay here in sydney
C. L.
This is a very nice place mainly for a family. It is close to all amenities and you could find plenty services. Public transportation is very close as well. The staffs and nice and kind. Clean and hygienic place. Also it has a very nice view, sure depends on the spot you have got, but generally speaking is good.
Highly recommended it 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
M. J. Z.
Strategic Location. Hygienic Rooms. Great amenities.
Friendly and thoughtful staff, Mr V Tekkol went out of his way to send his kind gesture towards the us, the hotel residents. Greatly appreciated. Will definitely revisit this hotel during my next trip to Sydney.
C.
A comfortable hotel. Opposite Hyde Park. My room was a Studio Room with a Lge Double and a single bed. It also had a kitchenette. A Continental breakfast was provided and waiting in my fridge. Cornflakes, Milk, 2 slices of bread, butter and condiments, orange juice and fruit salad. Of course coffee and tea making facilities. Perfect for a quick start in the morning, just as if you were at home.
N. W.
What a disappointment. The hotel is nice and modern but the service was lacking. I rang reception to ask for almond milk for my tea.. first I was told they were too busy and then told they would have to charge me for room service. For milk? I have never experienced this is a 5 star hotel before. There was a lack of information about available services... The compendium on the TV was limited. I would not stay here again.
7.
There is no storage space in the rooms. The fridge is loaded with expensive foods (automatically charged on removal) but no space to put your own food. The blanket is too small for a king size bed. The electric blinds take forever to close and you have to hold the button the whole time. The shower is really nice, but loose in the ceiling, which can probably be fixed on request. Can't say much about all the other hotel amenities. But the missing storage space for cloths is the biggest issue, which I actully noticed in a couple higher end hotel. So weird. Otherwise seems to be a nice hotel with friendly staff.
F.
Upmarket hotel with good Hilton standards. Restaurant is stunning, with huge glass cabinets of wine looming over the room and good views onto the QVB building opposite. A great place to start the day with breakfast. Location wise you couldn't get more central. Good executive lounge as well.
-. M. I. S. S. Y. -.
Of all the hotels I've been to, the customer's service in this hotel has to be one of the best I've seen. From the minute we stepped out of the car, we were greeted warmly by a stuff of the hotel. The check in was quick and the front desk stuff was very friendly. We stayed on the executive level, so a complimentary daily breakfast was included at the executive lounge. I have stayed in this hotel previously and tried their buffet breakfast at The Glass Brasserie on level 2 (must try!). So I asked at the front desk to see if it is possible to swap one of the morning breakfast to there. The lady said usually they can't but she will get it done for us. So warming service.
The room was situated on the 37th floor. The room was clean and neat and with a good view of the city. However, the room is a bit on the smaller size. The executive lounge was great as well. The food was good but not a large selection. I must praise the evening happy hours. Apart from the snacks and all you can drink from the fridge. They even have someone making cocktails there. All included in the room fee.
We were celebrating our honeymoon, the hotel presented a welcoming gifts and a bottle of sparkling. It does provide a very personal touch to our honeymoon.
Overall, I'm truly happy with my stay at the Hilton. Definitely will go back if I ever hear that way again.
L. H.
Beautiful clean rooms, stunning views, in such a great location.
We received such friendly service and the rooms were so affordable.
Loved it
We will be back.
I. R.
It's pretty incredible that the Marble Bar was originally built in the 1890s, and then painstakingly disassembled and relocated to the basement of the Hilton. The staff are incredibly attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed an quiet. The perfect place for an after work drink.
K. T. E.
Your bar and restaurant was very impressive! I had a perfect time, very attentive and helpful staff, non judgemental which is very important! Good was so delicious, fresh VEGAN options available - I was so satisfied! Cocktails were good. Modern, comfy fine dining. I'm sure the hotel rooms are just as great!
Thanks for the superb experience.
G. C.
Went across to the marble bar with my date. The classic location and the picturesque interiors with the paintings make it a one of kind bar. Easy to find and classy to be in. Highly recommend visiting once. I've stayed at the same Hilton hotel years back and it was memorable indeed. Excellent service.
C. L.
Helpful staff, nice and clean. Only 1 bar open on a Saturday night. Carpark pay and exit is terrible, very stressful
G. P.
I went to the bar below the Hilton, but it was pretty small and a lot of people there. It was a little noisy, but great decor. Sat around and had a drink with a mate before leaving.
I understand that they would have music there, but for the size of the place, I am glad I didn't stick around for it, as I think I would leave with a ringing in my ears.
Great atmosphere and decor.
B. A.
Our first impression of staff greeting us at the front desk was disappointing. There was no interest in how our day was or even small talk, just straight to confirming the booking and asking for our credit card. Next, unfortunately our room was not ready by 3pm. When we did finally get into the room, we noticed there was someone else's black hairs all inside our white bed sheets. It was particularly hot during our stay in Sydney and we were not given our complimentary water in the room at check in as is normally provided to Hilton Gold members. Besides these things, the hotel is reasonably modern and in a great location between Pitt Street and George Street.
E. H.
Nice hotel, staff friendly, fast and helpful. Rooms a little smaller than thought but nothing really to complain about. Overall great place and location. Marble bar is also work checking out. You can also go to the bar if not staying in the hotel.
S. S.
Very very disappointment in the room size. Paid a fortune for what I assumed was a luxury hotel room to find it was the same size as all the other city hotels, just $100 a night more expensive. Tried for an upgrade but that was expensive as well. Staff where nice, the room was clean and very nice just not exactly luxurious. Go to another hotel and save money or spend the same and by a much nicer room. Not great Hilton, hope his review makes people look around before booking
S. K.
The best hotel restaurant ever! Rooms were compact but clean.
Common areas were fantastic. Service was good. Executive lounge was top notch!
N. J.
Great cbd location. Room was good and very clean. Deluxe room isn't really that deluxe. Not much different from a standard, just a bigger bed. Bathrooms a little small for the extra money you pay for the deluxe. Staff friendly and very helpful and food was great.
J. D.
Was a very nice place and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly. The only complaint would be that my wife and I paid over $1200 for 1 night for an executive room with breakfast but the breakfast is very basic. Only breads, fruits teas and coffees with little sides to add on breads or use as dips. The buffet breakfast if we wanted it would be an extra $35 each. Other then that I was extremely happy with the services Hilton provided.
D. T.
Great hotel. Amazing location.
However, if you're getting an elevator from a higher floor down to ground level in a busy hour, you could be waiting a while. 😀
Overall, nothing bad to report. Great hotel.
N. K.
Currently in Floor 34 in the executive suite, the spacious room and the view is really awesome. Housekeeping maids were very helpful in delaying their scheduled routines. The complimentary breakfast and evening dinner were amazing. For the price value, it was worth it!
S. M.
We loved our stay here at the Hilton Sydney! We arrived early as we came in from the states and our roof was not ready. However, they have a nice gym that has everything we needed so we could freshen up before we went out for the day. The rooms were very clean and very well put together. This hotel is very centrally located and a great place to stay!
D. C.
Beautifully designed hotel with modern tasteful facilities. You must visit the marble bar if you are travelling through Sydney and enjoy one of their many cocktails.
The gym facilities are recently renovated and it not fun by fitness first with state of the art equipment and multilingual fitness staff to help your every needs.
As a local it’s always a pleasure to visit whenever you are in town and be immersed in the beautiful interiors and architecture!
A. A.
Rooms are spacious (for its location), new and tidy. I heard they just renovated the hotel not too long ago. Facilities are complete with a swimming pool, (big) gym and spa at the basement floor. Very friendly staffs, the concierge service in particular has been a big help in planning our trip. We've had them help plan and book activities and dining for the five days we stayed. The dining options inside the hotel are decent but expensive, I'd suggest looking for restaurants around the hotel (or asking the concierge) since the hotel is within walking distance of many great restaurants. Price is relatively expensive but the hotel definitely lives up to the five star rating.
G. T.
Don't stay here if you want a good night's sleep. If you are unlucky enough to get the room right next to the elevator shaft you will literally hear a relentless vibration through the wall every single minute, to the point where it is actually difficult to sleep. It's incredible that Hilton puts a room right next to the elevator shaft, charges $300+ a night for it and just hopes people won't complain.
T. M.
Great hotel/group. Always a pleasure to spend time in this particular hotel as it's close to everything in the CBD. Good array of eating options in-house too, including fine dining. We were allocated a lovely room on the corner, overlooking Darling Harbour and the timeless Sydney Town Hall. Very well worth a visit OR two. Enjoy!
d. t.
Im currently staying here. The food is consistently between bad and average. They fill out the meals with bread. Aside from that that the service is good, though overall overpriced considering.
t. s.
Not bad, but not what I expected! European sized hotel room at a premium price. Unlike Brisbane Melbourne or Adelaide Hiltons, certainly not value for money! It's being renovated, there is some noise and loads of confusion around temporary Exec. Lounge locations etc. Pros: good bedding, clean room, recently priced room service compared to expensive onsite restaurant and EXCELLENT very quick customer service. 8/10.
E. L.
Absolutely loved this place! Great location, friendly staff, easy access to a concierge and the rooms were spectacular! The beds were very comfy but the pillows lack support. try asking for foam when you arrive! Overall a great spot to stay downtown!!!
H. M.
Room is not that big, but comfortable with great city view. Gym is awesome with so many different equipments that can cover all your muscle needs.
However, you need to become member to use free WiFi, otherwise 15 dollar a day which is a lot.
Lastly, great location in the city centre.
W. L. K. Y.
Beautiful venue.
Adequate service, slightly pretentious.
Not a friendly face, feel good spot.
Also, mostly men.
It usually doesn't bother me but I felt a bit out of place!
Great band was playing but unfortunately had to leave as we couldn't hear each other.
Always worth a visit if you're seeing a friend who's from out of town (which is why I was there last week). But definitely not a good local spot, despite the great happy hour deals.
M. K.
Location is convenient, with shopping centre right within steps away. Goodview with both Sydney Tower and seaview at far-end. Varieties of cuisines which are mainly self-made by hotel itself.
T. C.
Was there for a conference. Get ready for no daylight. Including the sweets and great food this makes it even more depressing when sugar levels drop at about 3pm and you end up really wanting to sleep instead of focus on sessions. I'd prefer to drive out to a uni campus and be able to walk to the cafeteria using a voucher instead of the all air-conditioned fluerecent lights medical environment. Food however is good quality. Missing seating spaces. Basically experience is below average.
A.
Location is great but overall felt like the hotel and guest stay experience could have been improved. Check-In took too long (both the line and the overall check-in process). They don’t give free wi-fi unless you’re a member of their rewards program, which was annoying not only because it extended the already lengthy check-in and I’m not interested in another loyalty program but also just give your guests free wi-fi!! Rooms are starting to get dated. It took maintenance two days and several communications from me to fix the safe in the room. The hotel could have felt cleaner, particularly the bathroom in my room (which smelled like mildew) and the exterior windows were long overdue for a clean. Overall these aren’t terrible issues, however for a higher end hotel I would have expected much better.
L. C.
Great room and service. Breakfast is very good, they'll bring fresh soft poached eggs or a custom omelette right to your table. Two great bars onsite and well positioned I'm mid-town near trains etc.
K. D.
The restaurant was extremely nice, very fancy and had a grest darkish atmosphere. The food was good, however rather small in size, and took a while to get to us. The waiter gave us complimentary wine to make up for it, and was very friendly overall. Would recommend if you don't mind spending a bit more than normal.
G. S.
Nice hotel, fairly standard, with very friendly staff. Diamond member stay, got upgraded on the check in app. Improvements: no WiFi code in room, no mention of Diamond Status benefits at check in until I asked, pool/gym change rooms very old and smelly . Had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, both were fantastic. The vegan dinner menu was appreciated and the best of all the Hilton's I've been to.
C. M.
As a first time guest, I want impressed with the size and quality ofthe rooms. The shower water system was sticky and temperature of water fluctuated frequently which was difficult to reach optimal temperature to start with. The windows did not block enough sound. Not a pleasant staybut the staff were attentive and polite. I did not like the buffet breakfast.
C. A.
Convenient location for everything, everywhere. Hotel staff are friendly and restaurant is great. Although this is five star hotel, some rooms don't have bathtub. But you can still enjoy great stay.

A comfortable room, and clean. I received high quality service from all staff I encountered. Room service was really fast too and they delivered as quick as they promised. Even the lifts were fast. Location is excellent, centrally Located. Great for shopping. Also woolies metro is even close so if you forget some toothpaste you can buy it like I did! Totally relaxing. TV in the shower too. Safe as a solo female traveller, though I'm not one for night life. Be street smart like any major city and you will be fine. The trams have helped lessen congestion a lot but they don't connect everywhere in the city. Close to art galleries, an easy tram or train ride away. Or there is China town, with delicious bread top bakeries and of course plenty of savoury food options. Everything a modern city provides. Room was not noisy but may want to bring ear plugs and a sleeping mask if you are sensitive to sound or light as the blinds are slightly transparent at night. Other than that fantastic! Would stay again and next time try the breakfast buffet at least some of the trip. Very friendly service , cannot emphasise enough how pleasant that made my stay! I'll be back I reckon.

Hilton is easy to stay at. Very slow check-in late Sunday evening. Wireless seems to have improved compared to many past experiences. Rooms contemporary but desk always feels very small and nearby power always a juggling act, usually disconnect clock and or phone to allow laptop and phone charger use. Great location.

4.5 star excellent pool/jacuzzi and gym facilities!!!!! Best in Sydney. Really large!!! Stayed in a deluxe room with a king bed! Bed was amazing. However room especially bathroom was on the smaller side compared to other 4.5/5 star hotels in the city. Would rate this a 5 star if room was slightly bigger. Everything else was great though!!!! We only paid $200 for one night which was a fabulous deal. We saw this price on last minute website and than we called Hilton and they price matched. We also had free wifi as we joined their honour club!!! Definitely will stay here again simply for the facilities!!!!!!!! We also arrived at 10am to drop off our bags because

Never been here. I just work next door. Nice entrance though.

I just love coming to Sydney, and when I do, I love staying at the George St Hilton.
There are many fine reasons..convenience, quality, the service.
This mornings memory is of Tina, at the Glass Brassiere, remembering to a tee what I like to start my day with.
Even that I like my coffee a bit on the warmer side.
Such skill and care and interest in the customer is rare.
Well done Tina, and the Hilton team.

Awesome and friendly staff,

Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. Fantastic amenities. Top notch location. Only downside, there was some type of construction going on during my stay.
J. C.
The hotel was great, the conceirge were really friendly. They said happy wedding anniversary to me. The hotel even gave us small cakes because we went there on our wedding anniversary. The swimming pool left a bit to be desired as its the …

Great room. King bed, lovely pillows. Both shower and bath. Very clean. Staff are very friendly. Would recommend.

Overall over-rated!

Pretty good by Hiltons standard.

Amazing location. Amazing staff.
Just a great bloody hotel. Clean and comfy! Great coffee downstairs at the grounds of the city which can not be faulted !
J. K.
From the moment of checking in to checking out, I had a wonderful experience. Our bedroom has lovely views and the room was clean and tidy. Offering contemporary design that fulfils comfort and style, outstanding facilities and exceptional service, Hilton Sydney is a must!

Friendly reception. Relaxation Suite was great with a pool sized spa overlooking the Sydney visible all the way to Blue Mountains. Simple afternoon tea in the executive lounge but scones with cream was very nice. Evening canapes session was much better with 3 different hot foods (pizza, spring rolls, chicken skewers), various salads and good quality prawns. Plenty of choices for the alcohol also with wines, spirits, beers and some simple cocktails made to order. Indoor swimming pool was a hit with the kids and there are a big spa, 2 saunas and 2 steam rooms which we enjoyed. Executive lounge breakfast was too simple however. Only boiled eggs and some sausages. No other hot food was available. Good selection of breads, cereals, yogurts and juices though. Overall, excellent 5 star hotel.

Great hotel but with limited views of Sydney...we were on the 43rd floor and only had city views as shown in one photo. The hotel suited our requirements as it is walking distance to the Opera House and also to Darling Harbour. If you want to get the feel of the city and enjoy walking the streets this is a great option. The overall service was outstanding and the rooms were very modern and contemporary. Fitness facilities were excellent.

It’s a Hilton, of course it’s nice. Visited for a conference so this is just a rating of the common areas but I feel like there could be a little more when it comes to the feeling in the foyer, just feels a little cold and unemotional. The coffee was ok but certainly not to a standard that I think Hilton sets the expectation for.
M. I.
Favourite hotel in Sydney, we werent happy with a few things last visit, let them know and this time the went way out to ammend and back to the usual guest service.
B. O. B.
The hotel staff are superb, particularly Madeleine at front desk and Nick on hotel phone. Fantastic location. Call for directions too Hotel at 255 Pitt Street as George Street is closed to traffic. Breakfast is fantastic and again staff were superb. Rooms are well equipped, immaculate, with very comfy beds, but extremely small especially for the price. We were there 4 nights in 3 different rooms. The twin rooms feel smaller than the king rooms. The views we had of the city were great from every room. The only complaint is that two separate departments did not call after the front desk sent messages for the Reservations Dept and the Dept that deals with points to call to answer questions they were unable to answer. Disappointing particularly at appx $500 per night. Even the front desk was frustrated since they spent time emailing them to set up the calls. Other than that, we were happy.
M. P.
Top notch accommodations. The executive lounge has high tea each afternoon followed by cocktails and appetizers in the evening. The breakfast buffet is amazing with tons of options. Highly recommend the nutella donuts! Super convenient location with mainstream shopping across the street, and a quick 10-15 minute walk to Circular Quay or Fishermans Wharf.
A. S.
Attended a conference here over two days. Lovely buffet lunch provided and great morning and afternoon tes. Really gourmet food for a conference I really enjoyed it. The venue had good facilities to assist in the conference atmosphere great set out for easy access to car park or train station.
W. W.
Awesome location, great staff, best room cleaning service I've encountered. The only thing needs some improvenent is breakfast selection. Stayed there for few days, almost the same exact breakfast items
S. F.
The Good: Great central location and generally quite a nice hotel. The breakfast is great. The Bad: The place is a little run down, especially some of the rooms. I’ve stayed in a nice specious and new looking room, I’ve also stayed in a really small, dark and ugly room. Service has been a little hit and miss for me. The last time I stayed one of the ladies there wasn’t so pleasant and I haven’t been back since. Value for $ can be ok to expensive.
D. C.
We stayed over night in one of the in between selection of rooms. The room was clean but not welcoming as in a warm feel, the room was tiny and made me feel as though your just stuffed in a box, you can hear neighbors and people walking in the hall. This is priced too high for what you get. The only pro is that it's central and the staff are friendly but I could go to another hotel in a better location for the same money and have a more comfortable stay. We only had the buffet breakfast at the glass brasserie and it was not great and it's supposed to be a 4 star, very disappointed.
T. K.
Though small, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is excellent and highly accessible. Hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Gym was very well equipped, which is an unusual but superbly pleasant surprise!
W. N.
Perfect location. Had a nice view over the town. Would have expected a bit more of Gold membership. Executive lounge awesome. Downside quality of rooms. Only cosmetics, but brings down the rating.
R. N.
Nice name, but general rooms are super tiny. Booked a suite but that was right next to the lift, no sleeps thru out the night.
Drinks and canapes in the corporate room is nice. Breakfast was a long wait in the restaurant.
Wouldn't do it again.
D. W.
Very disappointed. We had dinner previously at the glass house and it was amazing! So we decided to stay here.
The room was very small, bathroom stone vanity top was chipped, you could see all the silicon around the bath top, tiles in the shower we're lifting.
Breakfast buffet was appalling, food all messy in the hot food area, everything dripping in oil. People's dirty plates left all over the fresh food benches.
Scrambled eggs were so bad we couldn't eat it and ended up resorting to coco pops!
Overall very disappointed won't be staying here again. Paid $350 for the night.
D. H.
We stayed on the 41st floor in the relaxation suite, which has been recently refurbished. It was wonderful, very clean and very luxurious and comfortable. The staff throughout the hotel were, courteous, friendly and helpful.
K. S.
Very attentive and polite staff. Lovely hotel, great location for enjoying downtown Sydney by foot. Rooms are very modern and if you get one of the executive suites the shower is very relaxing after a long day
A. K.
Been there many times for events and drinks, catering is very good, and the iconic Marble Bar is well worth a visit. The only disappointment is the lobby, lack a 5-star wow factor.

Experience from start to finish was a complete disaster with this hotel which us and many other wedding guests stayed at. When my booking was made, I was told that I couldn't check in till 3 pm which was the time the bus was departing the Hilton to travel to the wedding venue. For some reason this hotel has a check in time one hour later than all other accommodation. I was told to either get dressed in the gym or pay for an extra night accommodation. After arguing and having the duty manager call me back, I was told my room would be ready by 2 pm.
After check in, we put our stuff in relatives room as it was before 2 pm. Housekeeping then advised us, she had finished our room and it was ready at 1.20 pm. Reception at 2.05 pm said the room wasn't released and come back in 10 mins. This was NOT happening as we had a wedding to dress for. Finally they picked up the phone, sorted it out and we got our pass to our room.
Checking out, the final invoice had added two breakfasts ($64) on top of the room rate which I had already paid. We paid cash for two breakfasts ($58) and showed the staff member our receipt and luckily demanded a new invoice with the breakfast charge removed showing a balance of $0.
Today on looking at my bank statement, there is a charge for $58.87 for breakfast which they illegally took from my account! After ringing, sending evidence of the receipt for $58 and the invoice with $0 they still refuse to pay until they can find a cash invoice with the breakfast staff.
Every staff member we dealt with were extremely incompetent and this is beyond a joke. I've wasted time, sent evidence, yet they still haven't returned the stolen funds.
In addition, venue choices for a quiet drink after we returned from the wedding consisted of a dark bar which was pretty seedy and loud and an even louder equally seedy bar upstairs.
Save yourself grief and money and book at a decent hotel!
J. G.
Not only did they take $300 they said any charges would come out of that but then they took another :-) 370 for a totAl of $670 on a $370 extra charges
What a mass of contradictions front desk staff on check in at best unhelpful .Later staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Parking guys made the stay worries.
Food great.
Shower and room all show but not user friendly
D. H.
My husband and I stayed here recently and had a lovely time. The room was very clean, modern and well maintained. The service we experienced was exceptional especially for an Aussie hotel. We received complimentary breakfast both mornings of our stay- no idea why but it was appreciated. Breakfast in Glass was a real treat, one of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel with a wide selection of choice and all the food was very fresh. We enjoyed using the gym and pool too. We'd love an excuse to stay again.

Not up to scratch...
We booked 3 rooms with breakfast $340 each, 1 room ready on time so we all got ready for lunch out together, returned at 5pm to check in the other 2 and was told they are not ready. i complained but told only the manager could do anything but was unavailable i had suggested to the counter staff id be happy with free parking for my group which was 3 cars. the manager called an hour later and basically bargained with me down to 2 parking passes he quibbled over $50, then we got into the rooms 2 were disabled access access rooms without a bathtub and much smaller than a standard and the furnishings were outdated. Beds and pillows were very nice as was the view. We arrived for breakfast which looked quite nice until i found a hair on my plate...ok it does happen, communicating with hospitality staff was difficult when i asked for coffee they poured tea and i think the most surprising was whilst it is a Buffet and does cost a fair bit, if you order a coffee eg cappuccino you get slugged an extra $5 which i think is ridiculous. I have stayed in quite a few hotels and really only went with the Hilton as i got a Gold velocity membership which was supposed to have some extra entitlements with Hilton except it takes 6-8 weeks to approve but i would suggest your hard earned money could be spent better elsewhere. during checkout i was asked how my stay was and i replied less that satisfactory to which i was told, that's good have a nice day...? obviously someone isn't listening. very disappointed especially given the hotels great position and previous reviews, customer service needs an upgrade. Not a happy customer.

This is a very clean tidy and modern hotel in the heart of Sydney. I like tge bed with its immaculate bed linen and a comfortable mattress. I love the city view outside. I am enjoying this place very much. The staff is great !
T. W.
Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, great amenities. In the middle of town, great shopping across the road and all around, walking distance from night life and restaurants. Fabulous breakfast bar.
A. G. a.
Visited Hilton Sydney many times for professional events. Very convenient heart of the city location. Plenty of space inside, various rooms with good equipment for presentations and good sound. Great catering and professional approach to guests. Spacious bar downstairs.
F. A.
I would have given 5 stars had George Street not been turned into a construction site! Hilton still got the best hotel location in town but lobby is getting so crowded that you will only enjoy staying inside your room. Loads of homeless guys asking you for cigarettes right next to a 5-star hotel entrance is just unpleasant......
H. L. S.
Wonderful staff.
Our flight landed early 7am and check-in isn't till later that day, however we were allowed to leave our luggage up front and also allowed the use of the gym to take a shower to refresh after a 15 hour flight
we were able to then leave and explore sydney
once the room was ready, we received an email from hilton and once we got to our room, our luggage was already there.
The staff is what made this a 5 star. Very welcoming
a. g.
Excellent value for money as a Diamond package customer. V comfortable. After hours access very easy. V poor electronics in each lift , requires 3-5 efforts to accept your security pass.
C. S.
Great hotel good rooms but very poor sense of service. Maybe over worked staff but that’s not expected of a five star hotel in the middle of CBD. Poor check/in experience with not enough staff and queue of people wanting to check-in / check- out. Check-in person refused to update the Hilton Honors membership number citing the booking was through Expedia and hence it doesn’t matter as I won’t get points anyways. Same case on breakfast table while the spread was great but again poor sense of service just 2-3 servers to take orders for coffee which never arrives. And if you happen to arrive for breakfast at around 9:00 be prepared to wait in a queue till they figure out if you are eligible for breakfast or no. I opted for express check out and it’s been a full day and I haven’t received any invoice. I would have expected more and better service from a Hilton group hotel.
J. P.
Probably the worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in - and I have stayed in many. The High Tea is served in the cafe and I have had better sandwiches in a school canteen. Service is minimal and you seem to encounter attitude from all front line staff - reservation, reception etc. Its almost like they thing they are doing you a favour.
had to ask for an omelette 3 times at breakfast and still didn't get it - and the restaurant was nearly empty. Was given the wrong information at checkout regarding the security deposit and when I called to inquire, was talked to like I am an idiot for asking.
Not the first poor experience I had here - will never stay again.
S. K. T.
The Glass Brasserie was a fantastic restaurant with a separate vegan menu. The rissoto and ravioli were bursting with flavour, although the ravioli dish would have been great with 50% more ravioli. The service was friendly and top notch, and the atmosphere was sophisticated. We had a great anniversary dinner here.
P. S.
Nice hotel with good amenities however the room always have this carpet smell. Nice area. In the middle of shopping and eating area. The hotel staff are generally alright. Not the friendliest i had seen but mostly friendly.
D. A. W.
Great service and location. very nice & comfortable rooms. The only negative thing is that cleaning services move your staff on the table or in the bathroom on daily bases, even when you put them everyday on the same place where you prefer.
Bed was comfortable, plenty of pillow options to choose from.
Bathroom had movable shower head (big plus) and the water pressure was proper. The size of shower was great, would be ok for 2x normal size persons.
The bathroom doors are from glass, and sliding, so not noise proof. Bathtub had good size, not like in other hotels where they are very narrow.
Multiple storage options, big closet for shirts/dress/trousers, additional cabinet with large drawers. Comfortable desk chair, so you can do some serious work in the room if necessary.
Internet was a bit slow, and the wifi connection was no stable during the busiest days, asking for multiple reconnects. Significantly better, more stable over weekends.
Very nice & stylish conference, meeting space.
Multiple shopping malls nearby, the asian food in the city is great, even when you go for food court options in malls.
Be sure to visit the Marble Bar in underground, next to Hilton entrance.
R. K.
Was excellently looked after at the Hilton, and even though I arrived almost 4 hours before check in time I was able to get into my room early! The people at the Hilton were extremely pleasant and helpful when I required assistance. Would definitely go there again in the future.
R. A.
This is probably the best Hilton property I've been to! The front desk upgraded me to their King Suite above the relaxation room and the views of the city were amazing. Breakfast we included, which was located in their Executive level or you can choose to go to level two to their buffet. Usually continential breakfast in most places are "alright". This place completely exceeds it.
T.
Visited for a business event.
Ambience was good. Location was good.
Facilities were good.
Wifi stopped working at a point and hence the 4 star review instead of 5 stars. It could simply be a one time technical issue.
A. S.
Went there to celebrate my advance birthday dinner with friends. It was my friends suggestion that we dine at glass brasserie. I ordered the prawn toast as our entree and it tasted so good, my friends loves it as much as I did. I ordered the snapper for 2 as our main to share with my partner and it was impressive! The snapper came covered in a toasted flour! The hostess cracked the flour shell open and cut it into half and served it to us. The snapper was filled with seafood paella and it was delicious! I had to share it with my friends as the half serving was more than enough for me. The best thing is - the price is really inexpensive! I wouldn't think twice of going back!
D. W.
Great hotel with a stunning restaurant called Glass. Attentive staff, and reasonable rooms (though nothing special, even in the executive rooms), with great views like the one in this photo (35th floor).
Eat at the restaurant and enjoy the steaks or fish.

I was only at the Hilton for a quick informal business meeting, so I did not stay in any of the rooms. My meeting was just in the reception area where the cafe is, it was myself and two others. We just had some drinks - service was good. There were a fair number of other people in the cafe area but it wasn't too loud; we could all hear each other without needing to raise our voices.
B. W.
I found the bed to be less than comfortable and the rooms to be modern, but a little poorly maintained (but still clean). I checked in quite late and found the security guard to be incredibly rude and condescending which really started my stay off poorly.
R. J.
Sales pitch - ended up with increasing my room rate by 30% for equal, if not inferior presenting room. Won't be using exec lounge. Carpet in upgraded room not similar to 1970s suburban Brisbane. Not very smart, Hilton. Might consider better English speakers at reception please.
C. S.
Spent a couple of nights in a King Room on the 38th floor. Room was exceedingly clean and though small, well proportioned. Staff were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast and evening cocktails in the lounge were beyond what you normally receive in a Hilton. The pool, gym and spa facilities are excellent for a hotel based in the Sydney CBD. A late checkout was accommodated with no issues I Overall an excellent stay and I look forward to my next.
D. R.
Great location and newly refurbished rooms. Friendly staff. Lifts are slow, especially first thing in the morning. My favourite Sydney hotel for business travel.
V. L.
Nice lobby, great location, great breakfast buffet. Executive lounge could use a facelift and more enforcement of dress code rules. Better security would be appreciated to monitor noise in common areas during the night.
A. R.
Here for an event. The ballrooms are great and airy and open. Large windows and adequate lighting. Good corporate facilities overall. It's all let down by the food. The food is rather bland and uninteresting. Sausage rolls and tomato sauce even together dad compellingly tasteless. Salmon was overcooked and tough, and rather tasteless. Chicken just didn't look appetising at all. The dessert was sweet, but just sweet and uninspired. But it looked pretty. The fruit was good. I realise in an event buffet setting it's harder. But I've seen much much better.
D. P.
I was here for 25 Days. Home away from home. Management was accommodating, the hotel has wonderful amenities like a full service spa, pool and modern workout facility. The hotel is centrally located allowing you to walk to Circular Quay and to Surrey Hills for great meals. Highly recommend staying here!
M. R.
Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. Fantastic amenities. Top notch location. Only downside, there was some type of construction going on during my stay.
A. C.
Yet another overrated hotel in my opinion. Rooms smallish, can be noisy, food pricey, an improvement on the old (pre refurbishment) Hilton but it's still just a basic business hotel with a marble foyer.
S. N.
Underwhelming check-in, run-down rooms with rusting door hinges and worn out furniture and missing amenities already make it a 2.5 star experience. But the reason I will not stay again is because I was checked out automatically by hotel staff early morning and had housekeeping enter my room at 6:30am when I was sleeping.
R. S.
Great location. 20 minute walk to Sydney Opera House. Located in walking distance to shopping malls.
The souvenir shop is located on the same block, and sells items approximately 40% higher than those in China Town, but is convenient. Paddy's marketplace is only open until 6pm (wed-sat) and located past China Town, and is about a 20 min walk as well.
Recommend using Uber and Taxi service.
Small rooms, even for executive rooms. Not very much space for a dresser/drawer.
Hotel has lounge service for those that reserve an executive room, or pay seperately. The food is not the best there. Note, if you reserve an executive room, you do not get complementary breakfast at lobby restaurant, which has a larger selection.
The hotel gym is located in Basement level 1, which is actually a full gym/spa. They gym gets very busy by 7:30 am.
K. P.
Amazing beautiful hotel with stunning views on all sides. The building is stunning and we'll situated. I got an upgrade to the King room and it was possibly the nicest room I've even stayed in. The room service was quick and food was great. Loved my stay here and only wish I'd had more time to spend in the hotel.
C. G.
Have come here for a lot of IT conferences. Facilities are always great. Its well organised. The staff are helpful and ubiquitous when you need them, but discrete and efficient when you don't. The catering is very good whether buffet or ala carte. I have also stayed in their rooms, but only once when it was brand new. They are well appointed modern and with great views.
J. C.
I attended a convention covering three storeys. The presentation rooms and the IT resources were of high quality. The amenities were sufficient in number for the number of attendees. The catering was excellent. I received the impression that all features were well managed and maintained.

服務只有一個印尼🇮🇩boy name Buthur was excellent service helpful create an extra mile service to me for bottles water for this crazy hot weather here. Daniel wa supposed bring me an plate end up didn’t come back. Glass restaurant having my buffet …
D. W.
Love the Hilton! It pretty much has everything! I'm there practically everyday. They have an underground gym with an awesome friendly team of people, a great cafe, restaurant, lounge and tables to chill, study, charge your devices or have meetings and clubbing at Embassy on Saturdays (if you're into that 😉) and of course, it's a hotel. ❤❤❤
A. P.
Customer service at the Glass brasserie was not as high standard as I expected ( this is a 4.5 star hotel) service with no smile. No encouragement of having big group bookings
(10% surcharge and force to have minimum $95 banquet with bookings > 10 people). Food was not too bad. I would not recommend friends to try them.
K. N.
We spent two nights at Hilton Sydney and we liked it. The buffet breakfast was very nice. The gym, swimming pool and spa were good enough. The hotel is situated very close to all tourist attractions and businesses. Nothing in the room, even the bottled water, is complimentary which was a bit disappointing! The car park is pricey at ~85AUD per 24 hours.I also felt that some staff are not as friendly as you would expect. Overall it's a very good hotel but it could be better...
J. C.
The bathroom is small for the price paid. Parking is overly expensive. Interaction with staff is too trained and too peasantry. What's wrong with down to earth interaction, even for a high class hotel. I'm still writing for mangers to provide answers after 3 weeks of stay.
T. N.
a big thank you to the Hilton Sydney team!
being stuck in a room for 14 days due to COVID-19 quarantine is not my definition of fun, however the team make my involentary stay more bearable by providing a wonderful furnished room with great views, delicious meals and pleasant staff.
big thumbs up from me
S. T.
Attended a function at this hotel on level 4 and 3.
The facilities were impressive and catered for the various room requirements. From several hundred people right down to around 30.
M. J.
Handsdown favourite hotel in Sydney ! I loved my stay and can't wait to visit again. The beds were so comfortable -signature Hilton quality! The service and staff are incredible. Highly recommend the Executive benefits, an elevated expereince for sure :)
The pool and gym are well equipped. Perfectly situated for exploring Sydney city. I loved the vibe at Zeta as well, great cocktails and one of the best club sandwiches going !! I'll be back and thank you for a wonderful stay
M. C.
We went to the wine bar. It was gorgeous. The service was impeccable with an equally impressive wine list. Atmosphere was relaxed and classy as you would expect. Definitely will go back for more.
W. K.
Where to begin? The room was good, corner room with a view on the 22nd floor. However on arrival we had to wait for them to check if the room was ready (we arrived after check-in time of 3pm). We had booked and paid for for the room almost 6 months in advance why wouldn't the room be ready (not good enough Hilton)? The interaction we did have with Hilton employees was good. The pool area, well for a Hilton I don't think it's up to scratch (It's more of a gym pool than anything else). The gym/pool hours are not good enough. With so many gyms available 24hrs there's no excuse for why the Hilton can't do the same. The bathrobe I used was also not up to scratch, it was fairly old and tattered. 😬
N. P.
The concierge was very helpful with lost luggage since Quantas customer service does not answer it's phone for at least thirty minutes. The front desk said they would text us when our rooms were ready which never happened. We went to the front desk after check in and they said our rooms were ready. However, no text letting us know. Location is wonderful.
J. B.
The facilities for the tech forum were fantastic, the audio, the video were all first class! There wasn't a bad seat in the house. The free barista coffee and the break-time refreshments were great. The VIP lunch was delicious!
J. T.
Hilton has been a superb experience. My only problem is how early everything closes. I'm here on a work trip and sometimes I get out quite late and there is nothing open to eat. Otherwise the hotel is small, but modern. Delivers great customer service.
J. L.
I had a few drinks with some friends at Marble Bar. It's a very cozy and well furnished bar with some good cocktails on the menu. The prices are higher than average, but worth it if you want to impress someone!
S. M.
Prime location and lovely staff with great services! Everything you need is here but some rooms have limited views and can be a little noisy if you are in a lower levels where the bars are. Love the attention to detail old style hotel settings.
D. “.
Love this hotel. Elegant, chic and excellent service. Great rooms and reasonable prices (always deals going) and if you join the Hilton Honours membership you access best rates and benefits. Romatic weekend stay - perfect for those who like a little luxury!
K. S.
Good high end hotel with professional setting. Was there for 2 weeks long stay for work. Right in the middle of everything and one block from tower eye. Great ambiance and food in executive lounge. Highly recommended
M. H.
I like this place and stay here all the time. And we have conferences here. Having one tomorrow in fact. Yet when I asked for a table for 10 in the bar afterwards for drinks - at 2.30pm mind you - I was told there would be a 10% surcharge "for the booking". I really resent paying more for bringing a group of people to a venue; especially at a time when hardly anyone else will be there. Every restaurant and pub in Australia can put a table of 10 together in a few minutes, but none of them surcharge!
L.
We have stayed at a lot of Hilton properties, and this one missed the mark for a four-star hotel.
I will say that the location is very nice, and the check-in desk was very nice as well
This hotel fell short with some very basic services. For example, guests should be able to ride usually up and down the elevator without issue to and from their room. However, the sensor system for the keys on the elevator was out of order EVERY day we were there. We would get on the elevator, put our key to the sensor three or four times before it would light up, press our room number, halfway up it would depress, not take us to our room and take us back to the lobby to restart the process.
It’s not that we didn’t enjoy spending 20 to 25 minutes every day trying to get to our hotel room, however we met many guests on the elevator who are having the exact same problem and it begs the question as to how and why a four-star hotel can’t get the simple things in order. I did go to the front desk along with another gentleman after riding the elevator up and down a number of times and they indicated that they were aware of the problem but seem genuinely on interested in resolving it
With regard to the room, the towels seem to have been washed with starch. They were extremely scratchy and Steph and not indicative of what is supposed to be a four star quality.
Our room also had a musty odor to it. The bathroom was very small and had no counter space.
Also, on the topic of the elevators, there is a fitness center on the property however it is not owned by Hilton from what I understand. That being said, I guess are supposed to be able to take the elevator to the fitness center level starting at 5:30 in the morning to access the gym.
Every single day, this did not work. I had to walk out of the front of the hotel, around the building and enter the fitness center from the street level because the hotel elevators would not allow myself or other guests that were waiting to get into the fitness center to actually get it in.
Also, their business center consisted of one, yes one lonely computer. On the last day that I went there, it wasn’t working. Again, four-star hotel – one computer that doesn’t work…
Lastly, we were very surprised that they had no food on the premises before 7 AM. A lot of people that travel to the hotel or tourist, and most of our tour start at 7 AM, so when looking for quick and easy breakfast food such as a muffin, they had nothing on site before that time. We ended up having to go to another coffee shop down the street that opened earlier, so that we could be on time for our tours. Again for what is supposed to be a four-star hotel that caters to international travelers this was not what we expected.

We got a table for 2 walk in without waiting. Food was absolutely amazing, the truffle mash was absolutely delicious, the lamb and beef mains was very good too, worth the money and experience. Atmosphere beautiful and comfortable.
Y. M.
Great if you have Covid apparently, breakfast is amazing, certainly worth it.
J. T.
Breakfast/brunch bar was tasty, but not free. Hotel has awesome location right in the midst of everything. We were able to walk everywhere, even the Opera House(was a long walk though). Nice upscale shopping and resturants are just steps away. Woolworth is close to this hotel as well. The gym was more than adequate. The rooms were very luxurious. The hotel resturant had delicious food and a vast wine collection. Try a Port Wine!

The toilet was a wee bit cramped, with the toilet shower and bath rather unimpressive compared to their reputation. The default pillows were pretty bad but the replacement pillows we ordered were good.
The view was good and the service and food in the Executive lounge was good. Overall service was good.
M. E.
Well appointed rooms, but starting to show a bit of age in their styling. Great comfort and amenities tho, and well situated for whichever direction you want to travel in. Executive lounge is good if included for free.
Y.
Attended a function here. Food was above average standard for this type of function. Staff were friendly and attentive to the group as a whole without being exceptional. Parking was on-site which is welcome during the high level of road works in the CBD.
J. E.
Didn't go to the hotel but the massage spa. Was nice.. though the massage wasn't anything special. It was really disappointing. The washroom facilities had cheap shampoo and conditioner, I would except quality from Hilton. Not sure if I'd want to stay at their hotel after this.
S. P.
had a great experience- a wonderful escape
S. J.
Grate place with nice bar in the basement (Marble bar). Weekend live bands are very nice and plays rectro music. If you go alone there you could chat with friendly decent crowd.
R.
Very average hotel with exuberant room rates for an average room 300+ AUD per/night; and expectation that their guests should also pay for mostly always complementary water. Very poor service.
A. A.
Room has everything you need and more. Bed was amazing! Good views of the city. Really friendly staff. But don't get your clothes washed. It will cost you a fortune. Customer service has been outstanding! Highly recommended.

A stunning hotel in the middle of the cbd area. Great lobby and function areas. I've gone to hotel for an industry briefing and the catering was very nice. The staff were very friendly and professional. Would love to visit again.

I came here feeling great but then I slipped in the street and put my tail bone out. Thank God for a terrific porter! He recommended I go to The Happy Body Pain clinic in Manly. I did. Amazing what this guy can do. So many different methods & he fixed me in one session. I then had an amazing 3 night stay. Staff are very helpful, friendly and give terrific service. I recommend the scones. fresh and fluffy.
Porters were extremely helpful and rooms nice. Pool was great too. I would recommend The Hilton.
H. D.
The room is well layed out however it could do with USB charging points. The beds are comfortable and the shower is OK. The food is wonderfull. It is a place I will return too.
A. M.
It was nice. Went to the 'rooftop bar' which was only on the 4th floor but had a lovely cute of the QVB. Had breakfast as well, which was pricy, but plentiful and catered to every dietary need. Coffee apparently came for free, but the was an extra charge for tea?
...
D. H.
We ate at the glass restaurant, and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent! Was great to be able to see into the kitchen and watch the chef's work. Decore is very stylish. Was a longue singer as we ate. Would definitely recommend friends to pay it a visit.
J. A.
The staff and rooms are about what you would expect for a Hilton at this price point, and the location is better suited than any comparable Hilton in a big city.
The pillows though? They stole the show; even Hotel Berlin (similarly priced, great locale, and amazing breakfast) failed in that respect.
Seriously, well worth your money to stay here.
I.
Always makes me feel like home!
R. T.
Great location with very easy access to many of the city's highlights. Rooms on higher floors can have good views, but the windows are oddly small! Rooms are also somewhat small for the price, but hey, central Sydney!
S. H.
This review is for the Marble bar which the bar in the basement of Hilton. It was way too full when at capacity. Could barely move, carpet was wet/sticky and kind of smelt. I was there for a hip hop event which over all was still good.
Z. D.
Cant recommend this place enough. After a 15hr flight I was given access to the gym to freshen up until my room was ready. Then... received an upgrade ☺☺ fantastic location too.
M. K.
Enjoyed every moment here, the view was incredible with a large and spacious living room likewise the bedrooms as well. The beds were like marshmellos sleeping on. Very lovely staff. Hope to stay here again in the near future
A. D.
Amazing location. Amazing staff.
Just a great bloody hotel. Clean and comfy! Great coffee downstairs at the grounds of the city which can not be faulted !

I would have never expected to have such a terrible experience at Hilton. I would give a negative star if I could.
When I first arrived at my room, the entire room smelt stale as if someone has been sweating all day with no ventilation. I contacted the reception they have eventually moved me to a different room. The staff also gave me a handful of mini chocolates which was nice .
What really unexpected was after I moved to the new room, I kept the chocolate plus a pack of 400g grapes in the mini bar fridge. However, when I returned to my room the next day, the chocolate + the grapes were all taken! There's no way they could have mistaken that the guest has checked out as I still have my clothes luggage etc in the room.
After I reported the incident, the Duty manager simply said they could not contact the mini bar staff to find out what has happened and asking if they could do anything for me. So I said I would like to have some fruit since my own was taken (but isn't that obvious they should at minimum to replace what was taken??). After waiting for almost an hour, it's nearly midnight by the time they have sent the fruit.
But wait there's more surprise coming the next morning. There was an express checkout envelope at my door, somehow they charged me for some mini bar item?! Not only they have taken my personal items and now they even charge me more?!
I had to then tell the whole story again to a 'not-so-interested-in- your story-poker-face' receptionist. She was not appologetic simply said there's nothing she could do at this point but just taking the mini bar charge off.
Anyway, as of I am writing this review, I still have not received any updates from the Duty manager in regards to the mini bar incident.
It is not the value of the missing item I’m interested in but rather a guest cannot trust a hotel to leave personal stuff in the hotel room let alone being a 5 star hotel room.
Moreover, you would expect Hilton being on top of the game and provide outstanding service and know how to handle things correctly when there are issues.
Hilton, Shame on you
A.
Great room. King bed, lovely pillows. Both shower and bath. Very clean. Staff are very friendly. Would recommend.
Z. A. N.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Only downside side is their were doing renovations on the 14th floor so room smelt of paint and there was constant banging noises . I was satisfied with their service. Recommended
P. C.
Top notch place in the heart of the city. Nice staff, rooms are great. Facilities are also great. Spent a short stay, so did not try everything, but will be back for sure.

No pool or spa
The hotel room was nice but it says it has a pool and spa but the gym, pool and spa is owned by fitness first I went to the pool area around 6.30 and was told at 7:45 that we had to get out because they were closing the hotel has no say in this because it's not there's and on the weekends it closes at 6pm
Not happy false advertising

Stayed at the hotel for two weeks and enjoyed it. The staff is very professional and attentive to your needs.
The hotel is located close to many tourists attractions and also easily accessible via train.
The hotel is also conveniently located close to restaurants and there is a Woolworth supermarket right across the street. If you like Indian food then Indian restaurant Masala Bowl is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The restaurant offers many types of dishes and prices were also very reasonable.
Highly recommended for business or leisure travel.

Great hotel and location is adjacent to all the shops; as well as within walking distance of the opera house. They have a great breakfast in the executive lounge.
P. W.
Good hotel, ameneties are nice and location is awesome. Very close to a bunch of public transportation options. Rooms are on floors 20-40ish and have fantastic views. Pool is in the basement and a bit disappointing, and the hot tub was out of order, but otherwise the excercise ameneties are good.

We stayed in a beautiful Relaxation room on the top floor - L43 (which we selected through the online check-in function through the Hilton app - highly recommended!). All staff we encountered were top notch. While our room was not yet ready at 4 (past the 3pm check in time), we were welcomed to enjoy some nibbles and drink at the Executive Lounge on L36. Soon after, the lounge staff provided us with our room keys where we explored the various features of our room. Most notable of which was the spa tub with complementary bath crystals. Hilton Sydney have recently (within past 6 months at least) replaced their Peter Thomas Roth toiletries with Crabtree & Evelyn - Verbena & Lavender). I first came across the range back at Hilton Tokyo in 2017 and took a liking to it.
Staff ensured our room was equipped with 2 cots for our young kids. This was promptly set up prior to our arrival at the room.
As a Hilton Diamond member, we received premium wifi throughout the hotel - where speeds were impressive for the most part. We were also offered a choice of complementary buffet breakfast at either Glass restaurant on L2 or the Executive Lounge on L36. The Glass breakfast was, by far, more comprehensive - although can get quite busy during peak times. Food was top notch, although it would be good if barista coffee is complementary - at least for Diamond members. We didn't try the gym and pool this time - Fitness First have bought the rights to operate the facilities and will be operational a few months into 2019. The Hilton service staff through the Hilton app or Magic function were very professional, prompt and delivered above expectations.
Canapes at the Executive Lounge (6-8pm daily) features a tended bar. Nibbles for the most part differed on the two nights we were staying at the hotel. The Lounge can get quite busy at times so get in early for a seat and table.
Would definitely stay again (maybe another staycation next Christmas!) would love to try the Relaxation Suite next time.
Suggestions for improvement:
Our Relaxation room on L43 was situated next to the staff storeroom / goods lifts. As such, could hear the lifts during peak periods - not so much during the later evening. From our room, we could also hear the squeaky doors from across the hall. Perhaps timely for maintenance to give the doors some fine tuning. I would also like to see a better spread of snacks throughout the day at the Executive Lounge and perhaps complementary barista coffee at the lounge and Glass restaurant for loyal top tier Hilton members.

I only went for my birthday buffet breakfast (ironically 3 weeks after my birthday), but the service was very rapid and friendly, and the food was extremely delicious. I especially loved the selection of pastries and fruits.

Good location about 1.6km from Sydney Opera House and right next to beautiful Hyde Park. Nice view of the city from our room. The shower is modern and nice. The room is pretty small though (by American standards). Our king bed was 2 twins pushed together and attached, although that wasn't much of an issue. Our bathroom doesn't have a lock and the doors are opaque glass, so people in the room can see your shadow on the glass if you are in the bathroom. This makes the room and especially bathroom feel unique, but can be uncomfortable in the shower. The bathroom has separate bathtub and shower, with a deep tub.
K. T.
Love the room! Very comfortable and spacious. Good location and Westfield is just nearby. The only down side is that I stayed in the room close to the lifts and I could hear sounds of it the whole day.
P. W.
I've attended conferences at the Hilton and it's unsurprisingly a prestige venue. Well laid out structurally and attended by knowing staff. The atmosphere is always vibrant!
C. W.
Excellent service and comfortable rooms. Although there are hotels with better harbour views, the more central city location suited us and it's less than 15 minutes flat straight walk to Circulate Quays.
D. H.
I just want to say thank you very much for the great customer service that was booked at the end of our stay, and understood our unexpected last minute change of the plan.
As others have said, great location, modern interiors. .
s. u.
Comfy rooms, great facilities. Fitness First gym underneath is large and we'll equipped. Decent lounge facilities and great location.
E. N.
wow, what a hotel, superb facility...The glass restaurant is one of the finest one ever seen that has the world best chef badge....varieties of food. Best breakfast......
oh the Marble bar in the basement..awesome and rocking.... Best place located in pitt street, heart of the sydney.
S. C.
It is a good hotel. Very good executive club and great location in the heart of the CBD. I eat and drink at their cafe (caffe cino) more than I stay in the hotel. The cafe is not only expensive but also it hits you with a credit card surcharge. The hotel does it too. I understand a cc surcharge for the little corner shops, but a major company like the Hilton family should not slap the customers with surcharge. Very disappointing!
K. R.
Very conveniently located on Pitt Street and faces off I to George in the heart of the city. Close to Town Hall and QVB, lots of shopping and a food court close by so plenty of selection and variety of cuisine. Hotel itself is clean and has good facilities. Always pleasant staff.
D. B.
The executive lounge is the best thing about the hotel as they provide nice views to the city below and provide food of good quality. The rooms are good but could be bigger and have more sleeping space.
A. J.
The Hilton Sydney is the perfect location for a visit to Sydney. It is in the heart of Sydney next to the Queen Victoria Building and Town Hall.
This hotel has state of the art facilities and one of the best workout/spa/pool/sauna facility I have ever been too. The rooms are very quiet and the bathrooms are large.
It has excellent room service and a great restaurant, Glass. The employees at this hotel are so friendly and provided assistance when needed.
J. A.
This is an upmarket hotel situated in an almost perfect part of Sydney. Close to everything you could want without being too far away from anything. The rooms themselves are on the smaller side but well presented and impeccably maintained, the service is Hilton level (aka great) and the overall cost per night is in line with what you can expect. All that said this is my default hotel when travelling to Sydney.
S. S.
Nice and classy venue with good facilities, very clean. Staff were friendly and professional. Function food was overall good, the wine less so. The car park is a disaster - park somewhere else or use public transport.
A. D.
Decent location, rooms well maintained. Only issue is with the Zeta Bar staff. They weren't very good about making it around to all of the guests gas a result I purchased half the drinks I might have if I was asked if I wanted another. In one case I got frustrated with my sobriety and stormed up to the bar to order.
V. L.
definitely value for money. best part is - it is in heart of the city yet secluded. it has very good view of hyde park and harbour bridge. breakfast is really nice with wide variety of selection.
R. P.
Usually using it their services on business trips. The size of rooms are not the best feature, but it's well compensated with an amazing bed and pillows, also the business related features, such as executive lounge with good internet connection and a nice vibe for you to wrap up your work while having some welcome nibbles and some drinks.
X. s.
Very nice looking hotel. Rooms were nice. WiFi was not free despite being advertised as such, which is a deal breaker for me. Normally, Hilton honors members get free "standard" WiFi, which is so slow that running a VPN is not feasible, which is a safety concern nowadays. High speed WiFi should be free, especially at the price point these hotels are at. Room was not ready when we got there, but that's understandable considering we got there very early. We got a free upgrade, which was nice. Hotel staff told us our bags would be in our rooms when we actually had one available, but after 15 minutes, a phone call to the front desk, and then an additional 30 minutes, we ended up going downstairs to get our bags so we could freshen up from our flight and not continue wasting the day. We would have preferred being told of the wait so we could just take our own bags to the room in the first place. The Hotel is approximately a 20 minute walk from the Opera House, botanical garden, and bridge. Lots of shops available on the way there.
K. M.
Honestly I expected more. I had lower price because of points and free breakfast but considering the full price and paid breakfast it just doesn't worth it. Location is great, service is flawless, breakfast excelent. Rooms are small, internet wasn't stable (it was working but time time it lost connection). I am glad I had the opportunity to try hotel like this but it showed me this is not my dreamed accommodation. I probably just had too high expectations and it just couldn't fulfil them
A. B.
A more than adequate hotel for the casual, personal traveler. Decent amenities in the heart of the CBD with clean and friendly staff. Horrible standards for the frequent, business traveler. Don't expect over and above service typically expected by top tier members and wifi experience worse than many 3rd world locations. 45 nights at this location in the past 6 months due to convenience, but in hind sight the business traveler is likely better served at one of the SPG properties.
N. B.
I'm here at Hilton and I'm surprised at a lot of things, it seems like the hotel lobby has been rented out to business requirements. The lobby of a hotel should be a place where you get a feeling of relaxation, comfort, peace for tyhe last 2 days its like a bus terminal. On top of this the executive lounge is not of high standard, this is where one can go for a relaxing breakfast in the morning where you are subject to business conference calls which are allowed to take place. ( 2 hrs to have breakfast in a tranquil area is this to much to ask). The marbel bar, sorry but the staff were as cold as the marbel, despite the bar being spectacular. So for me this is not my type of hotel if your paying a trip downunder and expecting to have a relaxed in environment.
D. P.
Clean, tidy and well located but expensive for what it is. Rooms are small and pretty sterile (no pictures on the walls). Free wifi is good but $20 to watch an old movie and $6 for a bottle of water is taking the piss. QT and Swiss hotel better value
M. V.
Currently staying here for the week - Tiny rooms (and even tinier bathrooms), absolute complete lack of customer service in all departments.. from check-in to restaurant staff to zeta bar - except the bell boys (bell boys are super helpful), utterly useless (and rude) concierge, inconsistent tv reception in room, overpriced breakfast with little to impress, no storage in room and zero counter space in the tiny bathroom. A business hotel with no free wifi in rooms to work. I was going to stay a second week here, but I'll move somewhere else. Location is excellent, but then ... there's many other hotels in this location to choose from. Go somewhere else.
C. B.
Went there only for a meetup, but the conference rooms are nice - good acoustics and multiple screens so everyone can see the presentations. The staff was friendly and showed me exactly where I had to go even though the meetup was not advertised as part of the conference.
T. P.
This property is pretty old and crying for renovation. The standard rooms are pretty small. There are no complimentary water bottles. The breakfast spread was very basic. And be prepared to pay extra if you want a cappuccino or barista coffee, outrageous. Compared to the price you pay, it's really not worth it. Only plus point is the location; it's right in the heart of CBD close to QVB, Circular Quay and George Street.
T. Y.
The bar is a comfy and reliable meeting point whenever I'm in town. Close to everything in the city and an easy walk to darling harbour. Friendly staff, though things get a bit hectic in the lobby at peak times.
S. T.
Good location, next to QVB and the Galleries. Close to most corporate offices. Above the Town Hall train station.. This is not a quiet hotel - there is a business buzz around the lobby particularly in the morning.. I wouldn't come here on a date or for a romantic weekend - but it's good for business.
D. C.
Was told I was not allowed to go up to my freinds room for 10 minutes as I needed to wake him up as we were going out for late night dining
M. S.
Great location, service, amenities and the city suite was perfect little anniversary getaway!
K. R.
Convenient location for a girls night out. Central to nightlife on the weekends and so many different options for food. The Hilton is well designed, clean and have amazing views. Staff are very helpful and kind. If you like walking and exploring then you can walk to the harbour or go for a stroll down to the rocks. There is never a dull moment at this location. You also have so many different shopping choices to make during your stay. The Queen Victoria Building is accessible on the George street entrance of the hotel, for your connveniance and safety, there are traffic lights and the Queen Victoria Building is directly across the road. Have fun shopping, I know I did 😊
Y. L.
Located extremely centrally, just moments walk from Pitt St mall and Town Hall station. Wonderfully welcoming service and a beautiful, spacious room with plenty of amenities and a gorgeous view of the city. The Alysium day spa in the health centre and Caffe Cino in the lobby are also fantastic, high tea is absolutely delightful and again, service is impeccable at every step. Breakfast buffet has a great variety and the executive lounge is very comfortable. We will stay again.
M. M.
I've never stayed there because it seems rather expensive for me at the moment. But have more than 3 meetings on the second floor, and it's very good place to have business conversation with partners. Seriously, I've just realised that if you don't have you own office, Hilton is very good place for such purposes.

It is a very good hotel and in a great location. In particular for tourists and business people. I hold a Hilton gold Honours membership and visit this hotel regularly. The thing I dislike most about the hotel is their 1.5% credit card charge. They penilise customers for using a credit card. I guess Hilton doesn’t have the money to pay the bank commissions. Not impressed.
A. W.
I stayed the other day. The best place!
J.
Executive room was smaller than expected for the price. The executive lounge is vastly over rated and the standards are not befitting the image. We dined out and were unable to get a nightcap back at the hotel at 11pm without queuing outside - certainly no benefits for in house guests.
B. C.
Exceptional front desk service by Eboni who upgraded our room. And wow what a lobby! The room itself was amazing with nothing to fault. 2 large rooms, powder room and a large bathroom with a 2 person spa overlooking Sydney CBD (pictured). We had dinner at Glass Brasserie (Hilton) which again was impressive, yes expensive but I was indeed at the Hilton and the food, service and cocktails were sensational.
Would have liked to have taken advantage of an in-room movie but the $19.95 rental was a bit ridiculous. Overall thank you and will definitely return.
W. B.
Rooms are lovely. Make sure you check the address before leaving home as the address in the internet is WRONG!
P. L.
Really enjoyed the dinner. The restaurant has a nice view overlooking the Queen Victoria building and a nice feel to it. I would say that the food and drink, whilst nice, was expensive (a glass of red was approx $20).
S. K.
So bad - don’t bother with the twin rooms if you are regular size - single beds for kids - Hilton Brand should be rated as a motel - manager was beyond backward - arrogant as hell - so bad I definitely will not recommend or book here again. The only reason it’s not a one star is because the long and concierge is good.
M. L.
5 star hotel. Expensive. They don't even provide water as complimentary for guests and charge 8 aud per 500ml which is less than half of the price just outside shops. Don't recommend to stay in this unless you have lot of money to waste.
A. S.
Rooms are very dated. Fitout was very cheap and worn out. Rooms are not to the standard expected of a Hilton. Cleanliness of the room was excellent. Staff were very friendly and received feedback well.
A. E.
Very nice rooms and staff. Breakfast was really nice with plenty of choices. Perfectly positioned in middle of the city.
S. J.
One of the nicest business Hiltons I have been at in awhile. The basement workout facility is similar to a private club and very well may be. The 36th floor Exec Lounge was manned by a stellar gal named Taylor who I can't compliment enough for her customer service aspect. Great business location literally in the middle of everything Sydney. Would definitely stay here again if I found my way back.
L. C.
What a great hotel at position in the city just outside the QVB it's one of the best spots to be easy for shopping easy for walking around easy getting around Sydney I got in this morning at 3 a.m. got to my room went to sleep service and room is crisp and clean.
On Saturday they had breakfast from 6 all the way to 12:30 brilliant
G. K.
Excellent facilities. Katie at front desk was extremely pleasant and friendly. Site manage Kenny made sure our needs were met. Will become my go to Hotel in CBD Disney. Don't hesitate booking this Hotel.
V. M.
Six star hotel. All said
d. t.
I get hotels are struggling, but rampant cost cutting is reducing the feeling of exclusivity at this Hilton.
K.
Room was not cleaned proby well I stayed in quarantine WiFi and TV single was terrible food was 50/50 somedays I wish I had lost my tasted
F.
Lovely hotel. Massive but retaining a friendly charm. Had a room on executive floor and one of the best lounges I have been to from a hilton. Loved the spa area. Very well equipped and would deffo return
#.
As they claim it it's a luxury hotel :) and can not go wrong with services. It's literally in the heart of CBD and QVB is bang opposite. Their lobby is so grand and gives you a bond movie feel as you enter. I have stayed in few Hilton properties and by far this one is better with it's grandeur and appeal of the rooms.
M. V.
My aunt, mum, little sister and I went there for a buffet breakfast. The food tasted absolutely amazing, especially the gyozas. The pastries were a little tough, but still pretty good.
S. L.
I attended a business seminar and found that the Hilton was a great facility. The room was well setup for a comfortable learning experience. The catering was excellent and bathrooms very swish.
V. F.
Have only come here for conferences, a nice venue however the floor plans can get confusing and the catering menu during the events need some work... Like you don't make a huge batch of Nescafe blend 43 instant coffee and put in an urn guys
K. C.
I have been to the Hilton once to stay and a few times for business seminars.
I find the ambience very good. the staff who work here are professionals. The food is excellent. Thy provide high speend wifi access which is very handy for people to keep in touch & be able to work while travelling.
The service is often slow.
