B. H.I love the place. Good for couples and very quiet. Place is really well looked after, clean and relaxing. It was a surprise anniversary gift from my partner. He booked the pink cottage for me and I really loved it so much.
T. B.Our overseas visitors loved it but I had to assure them the were no sharks in the South Coast so that they could enjoy their swimming at this beautiful beach. (Just a little white lie but fortunately nu white poi pointers. It is a must see place.
J. B.The cottage is vey quaint and is in a great location. The area is quiet and the beach, walking trails and cafe are very close. Hyams Beach Cottages do come with a steap price, and some of the amenities are not up to scratch for the price point. WiFi and television reception is hit and miss. The television is minute. This would not usually be an issue but there is little to do at night here. The bathroom is cramped and the kitchen is good for only the most very basic food preparation. The moderately tall man shower test is a fail. The venue mercifully is not kid or schoolie friendly so quiet and never trouble with the neighbours. The BBQ facilities are adequate but more functional than inspiring. It’s a nice place to stay but a bit too expensive.

When the sun goes down people would like to do something-spend money, nice restaurants a ‘few’ bars or coffee shops. Australia is the only country I know that struggles with this and yet..... has the most to offer! Very strange that Aussie’s don’t see this.
I saw the odd backpacker but no young people, no life or soul. It’s quite, reserved and orderly.... expect this and nothing else .

J. S."The whitest sand in the world is not an overstatement. It's so white and smooth, you'll feel like walking on flour. Make sure you go to the right beach though. It was quite a long beach. Ask people there was quite useless as they are probably tourists themselves. We realise we were at a wrong beach after spending 3 hours there and thinking why this beach was not as white as pictures on Google. LOL. Anyway, we had a good time. If I go there again, one thing I will bring is a big giant floaty. Because this beach is part of Jervis Bay, the water is very calm. Just like swimming in a pool. The water is also very clean. And, if you go there, don't forget to make a squeaky sound on the sand. Seriously, it's fun and... It's important. Why? Coz, if you cannot make the squeaky sound, you are probably at a wrong beach. 🤣🤣🤣

D. G.Good location but a bit small. Drawbacks included very small cooking and dining space, very poor lighting in the cooking and dining space, no internet access (wifi and phone data signal). Was expecting more for the price.

B. T.amazing heritage cottages. stylish but also solid, good floors, furniture and appliances. everything a couple needs to get away. very cosy, you have a balcony but also private. kylie is also great.
D. W.Need to unwind? Listen to the birds, the quiet, the sound of the waves meeting the sand? Breathe in the colours of the adjoining glade and the clear aquamarine colour of the Bay. Take a book, snorkel, dive gear, painting or writing gear and just chill for as long as you are able. Just returned from 3 days in chilly weather - was really atmospheric and the occasional drizzle only added to the atmosphere, with the added advantage of being low on holiday makers. The cottage is cosy and the cafe nearby. The beach is across the road. Sitting on the verandah is delightful - kangaroos occasionally swing past, birds perch on the railing and the view of the water is the backdrop. A great place if you are solo or a couple and need to have some time out - I will definitely aim to return mid-week.
