Quite a substantial breakfast was served daily. Phil took us on a winery tour also stopping for cheese, olives and pomegranates. All very enjoyable.

L. B.Mudgee Guesthouse, set in a perfect location, just outside the main town of Mudgee and close by to High Valley Cheese Co. and various wineries, is a beautifully appointed home and peaceful surroundings. Rooms all have ensuites, were comfortable and private with our own access to the yard.
Our hosts, Phill and Brigitte were amazing, helpful and our breakfast was delicious.

A must for a mid week or long weekend getaway, stunning views and all you would need for a relaxing and peaceful time away.
M. P.Brigitte and Phil were absolutely amazing hosts, nothing was to much for them ,they knew how to make you feel welcome whilst also giving you privacy . They freshly prepared breakfast each morning was delicious and well planned. Bacon, eggs with all the trimmings 1st day, delicious pancakes wth fresh fruit the 2nd , and a scrumptious frittata on the 3rd , whilst also offering fresh bread for toast , cereal and fruit. the guesthouse was immaculately clean and well presented, all rooms were very generous in size.
Location was second to none. Really close to all the wineries in the area , a picturesque 20 minute walk to town bypassing the cheese tasting and other properties all with beautiful greenery or 5 min drive in to the centre of town. Our group was too big for the included wine tour but it’s a great saving for others looking to stay in Mudgee and well worth taking up the offer.
We definitely plan to come
Back and set this up for a longer stay and use as our home base to explore more of the things Mudgee and surrounding areas have to offer.

M. F.A lovely place with welcoming hosts, a friendly greyhound, Trevor, a comfortable room and spotless facilities. Brigitte cooked a fantastic breakfast, different every day, and the wine tour with Phil was well-paced and fun. We did not hurry round heaps of wineries: we tasted a great selection of wines at 3 attractive wineries, had lunch and also stopped at cheese and olive tasting places. The wineries and food places were top notch. The massage with Brigitte was wonderful, I felt a stone lighter afterwards. All in all a great experience, highly recommended
c. c.Stayed at Mudgee Guesthouse for 3 nights recently after reading great reviews when researching places to stay in the area. Brigitte and Phil were most welcoming and friendly and it was clear that the five star reviews they receive are authentic and well deserved. We were spoilt with a fabulous cooked breakfast every morning with ingredients grown from their gardens and freshly laid eggs from their chicken coop. As our stay was during Anzac Day, Brigitte made freshly baked Anzac biscuits as an added delight to our breakfast. I also took advantage of the half hour massage on offer and I can honestly say it was one of the best ones I've had. We also took advantage of the electric bikes to ride to the wet lands and honey farm close by. The wine tour that Phil took us on Anzac Day was fabulous as Phil ensured we visited some beautiful wineries with the emphasis being on quality and not being overwhelmed by too many places.

A group of 8 friends travelled to Mudgee for the Races and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to be greeted by Bridgette and Phill who made us feel very welcomed from the start. The Guesthouse is outstanding with everything you could need for any length of stay. The breakfasts each day of our stay were fantastic with homemade bread and freshly cooked meals. The complimentary wine tour and massage were so relaxing and enjoyable.

M. W.My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mudgee Guesthouse. While mostly catered to couples, Brigid and Phil made it a wonderful stay for friends as well. A beautiful home, the pool was clean and refreshing on a hot afternoon, there's the friendly pet greyhound, Trevor, that roams the gardens and will happily accept a pat.
The rooms were clean and hosts were more than accomodating to any needs. The electric bikes are excellent to hire out to explore the beautiful local vineyards. Brigid offers an amazingly relaxing massage, highly recommended! Great location just on the outskirts of town. Cooked breakfast each morning was delicious and dietary needs were happily catered for. Honestly not a thing I could fault from my 3 night stay here.

The guesthouse has a large kitchen, spacious lounge and outdoor areas (also a nice pool) to relax in, make a meal and enjoy a nice bottle of wine from one of the many great wineries close by. The house is walking distance from a wonderful cellar door and cheese factory (!!) and minutes away from the centre of Mudgee. The house is modern and clean, with each room having access to a peaceful patio and garden. Parking onsite is also available. The complimentary breakfasts each morning were delicious. Our hosts Brigitte and Phil are genuine warm and helpful people.
The rooms are equivalent to large hotel rooms and all have a beautiful en-suite. The bed was a genuine comfortable queen bed and not 2 king singles put together as is the case in most hotel rooms.
A lovely hot breakfast is included; with Brigitte’s home baked bread and perfectly sweetened home made berrie jam and Phil’s scrambled eggs made with fresh eggs from their 4 hens in the beautiful garden.
Throw in the day wine tour and 30 minute massage (my partner says was wonderful), if you stay for 2 nights, then this is wonderful value.
My partner and I are already looking forward to our next stay with Brigitte and Phil.

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights. The rooms/ensuite were super clean along with the entire guesthouse/pool. Every morning Phil and Brigette cooked up an amazing breakfast with their home made and home grown produce.
With the booking, we received a half day wine tour with Phil and a 30min massage with Brigette. (She's pretty good!!) They also have a beautiful natured Greyhound, Trevor whom is very friendly.
For our first time in Mudgee, my partner and I loved it and definitely loved our experience at the Guesthouse.

I've got to say that AJ's Guesthouse in the Mudgee region checked all our boxes when it came to finding lovely accomodtaion for our little adventure to the local wineries. They just went over and above when it came to providing all those little details that really make a getaway a bit more special than usual. My favourite was the oversized bath towels, big guest living areas and gourmet breakfast - yummo! I felt like a VIP, not a booking number. Will stay again when i have more time off!
V. P.We had wanted to visit Mudgee for a while now, as we'd been given a bottle of wine from Huntington Estate, loved it, and felt like exploring the area a bit more. Though we didn't really know the area obviously, AJ's Mudgee Guesthouse turned out to be the ideal base. We could walk to the town centre, there was plenty of room to park the car and it was so nice to come back to our warm, clean and luxurious room & make use of the whole house too at the end of a wintery day, sitting back to a lovely Nespresso coffee & delicious cakes for afternoon tea.. A wonderful treat- we would definitely recommend AJ's to other wine lovers

P. R.Wanted to have a nice long weekend away with the wife, but everywhere up the coast was booked out. I did a search for country accommodation, and came across AJ's- and let me tell you, I'm glad I did. From the moment we arrived and found the room nice and warm, cosy (champagne and choccies waiting for us, of course), to having a good sleep in, to curling up with our books in the guest lounge area, it was just such a luxurious yet comfortable stay. I suppose it didn't hurt that the weather was fantastic- definitely try to visit towards the end of Spring, if you can. All in all, you just can't get this kind of value and privacy in the city- definitely worth the drive.

r. v.My family and friends had the best experience in the Mudgee Guesthouse over the weekend! Bridget and her husband Phil went above and beyond to make our stay amazing in every way possible. From their beautiful down to earth nature & hospitality, delicious homemade gourmet breakfasts, amazing pool and well looked after rooms with sensational views of Mudgee, I honestly couldn't fault anything! Highly recommend staying here for a wonderful weekend :)
