Perfect location! Staff is friendly and kind, it's try to fix every problem. Bathrooms are clean. Bedrooms are ok, not perfect but if you ask for more cleaning they make you happy. I can reccomend this hostel!

I traveled to Sydney last February and stayed at this hostel while waiting for friends to arrive. The gentlemen at the front desk were very welcoming and inviting. They offered great advice on local attractions. They have a pancake breakfast on Sundays, great atmosphere and hostel for anyone looking to make friends. I'm female, stayed by myself and always felt safe and secure! The view is also breathtaking, that is Bondi Beach in the photo attached!

Good backpacker. For your short stay in Bondi. Spend 2 nights in the private room with the beach view. Good : It’s pretty decent for the room at this price. And the location for accessing the beach is great. Bus stop is right in front of the hostel which runs regularly. Poor : the bathroom needs an upgrade... only curtain for the shower (which I don’t mind but some do) and some of the toilet door doesn’t close. The kitchen (cooking area) is pretty crowded during afternoon peak hour. PS : towels, cutlery and keys required deposit. So you might need to prepare some cash for them if you needed.

It's a lovely place, the staff are very friendly and were happy to help where we asked. However, the room is very small and very much what you pay for - but has good views and is actually pretty good considering it's location near the beach and bus stop. Some other guests weren't very considerate of others either, meaning you might be woken up by some stampeding kids running to their room or the bathroom after a rough night but you're still able to get a pretty good sleep in the beds if you're not a light sleeper. Wi-Fi was free, slow but workable and nothing really to complain about. The only real issue that I encountered was the girls bathrooms which didn't have proper privacy, the showers either had a flimsy curtain that could be easily peeked through or a see-through door that offered no protection from unwanted eyes. This can be fixed easily so I'm sure it won't be that big of an issue for others who were prepared and brought swimmers they'd be happy to shower in. Other than that, as I said the views are great and the location is amazing since it is so close to the beach and shops as well as the public transport, staff are friendly and Noahs comes off as a place that would be great to stay in if you're looking for a good budget place to stay.

Fantastic location! We could see Bondi beach out the window. We were 4 girls staying in a private 4 bed dorm. You are given fresh linen on arrival so you know it’s clean. The bathrooms and toilets were clean but a little run down and some of the doors don’t shut.

Positive: Noas is in a perfect location to visit Bondi Beach! And the staff working there is super friendly, our room was big and the rooftop terrace is really cool. Negative: The showers weren't really clean and you can't lock them. There's just a curtain and that's it. Plus, the kitchen can be really crowded in the evening!

As a backpacker whose stayed in quite a few hostels, Noah's is one of the cleanest. The linens are fresh, the beds are comfy. The showers and toilets are just as good. The staff is friendly and accomodating. On top of that, they have good free wifi and the occasional free food throughout the week 👌

Spent a couple nights here while I was visiting Sydney and it was an amazing experience. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is great and it's really close to the beach. I made some amazing friendships and we're still in touch even after leaving.

The location is amazing and the free Wi-Fi works pretty well, but the hostel itself is old, outdated and dingy. The rooms are better than the facilities, the bathrooms aren't great as there's only two individual toilets and showers per floor and they're often broken.

I really enjoyed my time at Noah's, however the lack of a/c could be rough at times. I loved the kitchen and rooftop hangout area. The rooms were nice and the staff was good. The wifi was pretty slow, but free at least.

The hostel is ok... There was no soap to wash your hands in the washroom and you have to rent cups/plates/forks. You have to watch over them (can't leave them drying in the kitchen ) because otherwise someone might take them. First time I had to rent plates and cups at a hostel and I found it very inconvenient. Also the internet was so bad. It only worked 2 out of the 4 days I stayed here. Furthermore , the rooms did not have air conditioning and the lockers in the room didn't have a lock, so if you didn't bring your own lock you are screwed. The Internet issue it's what bother me the those because a lot people travelling rely on the hostel/hotel interenet for everything. The positive side is that the hostel was clean and it's super close to bondi beach and public transport.

A great backpackers hostel. I lived there for around about six months overall and had a great time there. The staff are almost always friendly and overly helpful. The place could do with a good clean up though as facilities are in pretty poor condition. That being said, it is the best hostel in the Bondi area, with a great communal roof top terrace for meeting new friends. Location wise, it's a short walk to the beach with connections to Bondi Junction and the rest of Sydney via the bus stop just outside. For drinks to be had on the roof during a hot summers day, I'd recommend Kemmeny's on Bondi road for the best prices that a bcakpacker can afford.

A great hostel that is perfectly located for exploring the Bondi area. Buses stop outside so transport links in to the city are also easy. Rooms were nice, staff very knowledgeable and we'll definitely be returning again soon

If there´s a department where Sydney miserably fails, that would be the hostels one. We stayed in 2 hostels during our time in this (otherwise) splendid city, and both places were a very disappointing experience, with the 2nd hostel (not Noah) being the worse I have ever been. Just to give you an idea, (again, this isn't Noah) first day someone puked in front of our room´s door...the puke stayed there until we left... I'm not even sure if, by now, it has been removed! Simply disgusting. Can't remember the name of this ugly place though. It is somewhere in downtown, very well located actually. Anyways, let´s talk about the main subject of my review, Noah´s Bondi Backpackers. Fortunately here you won't experience any lack of hygiene, but I have to say, the hostel REALLY lacks of good taste, with rooms being just a lame place where you have basic bunk beds, without any nice furniture whatsoever. Like everything in Sydney, prices are impressively high and this hostel is no exception. I understand that it is right at Bondi Beach, and the views from all the rooms are quite nice, but the accommodation itself is incredibly overpriced. So expect to pay a lot for a basic bed in a share room. The breakfast was included, but Jesus, it was so poorly prepared and overall was one of the worse breakfast I ever had. The hostel is gigantic and, since it's right at Bondi, is always full, so expect to sleep in a very noisy environment. Location 5 stars, accommodation quality 2 stars, which makes an average of 3 stars. I would rather book a more expensive private hotel room next time....or maybe a hotel will cost me the same. It could be. I wouldn't exactly recommend Noah.

Really enjoyed it here! Its not the Hilton Hotels but a good backpackers Great place to meet people and to start your travels. Friendly people with awesome rooms. A minute away from the beach & shops. Free Wifi with a Huge rooftop and common areas. Good activities with an awesome vibe. Bus right outside to take you to city which is not far away. Bondi junction like 40 mins walk or not even 10 min buss ride.

I lived here on for four months. Sometimes I was working 76 hour weeks in railway construction and sometimes I had weeks off. This really is a great place to stay. The staff became good friends, and even when there was the usual parties getting a bit out of control, they were always reasonable and understanding. They helped me out with a lot of stuff and became my friends. It's got for socialising, partying, and there was only one or two times when I struggled to sleep - I get up at 5am -, but I just bared it when this happened because it is a hostel after all. I made some great friends, the staff are the nicest bunch of people you'll ever meet and if you're a good guest they will go above and beyond to help you out. Literally the most fun I had in Australia was here, and that's coming from a workaholic.

Incredible location! A very short walk to the beach, restaurants or any other local activity! The staff is very helpful with scheduling tours and adventures and making sure your trip to Bondi is filled with great experiences! The Wi-Fi is quite rough, but if that isn't something you need on your trip then this is definitely somewhere you should stay!

Noah's Backpackers is a really good Hostel. Well I will summ it up shortly. The rooms are clean (Cleaners come every day to vacuum & every thursday to clean the sink and stuff like that). It's an old building so everything is a little old, but I never felt uncomfortable. The best about the Hostel are the people. The Hostel Staff is gorgeous and it's a very social Hostel, because there are a lot of people staying longterm. It really is like a big family and I felt so welcome there. I travelled alone and Noah's was my first stop. After a few days there I decided to stay longer. I have lived over one Month there and I can really recommend it. Sometimes the kitchen is a little dirty because some people left food there but the cleaners come I guess three times a day. Also bathrooms are clean. Just the shower curtains are a little shabby, but that was fine for me. The best part about Noah's is the Rooftop. Every night you can meet people there. You will see there is always someone to talk to. Also there is a Barbeque on Thursday usually (Hot Dogs for 2$) and free Pancakes at Saturdays and Sundays. I had the best time there and I can just advise you to check it out if you're around. For backpackers it's perfect.

The staff are great, people are good and the view is amazing. It's also the cheapest hostel in Bondi. Also the reviews about it being unclean are bullshit. The sheets are professionally cleaned, the beds are new, compared to most other hostels, and they vacuum the rooms on a daily basis.

It's a typical backpackers in desperate need of a refurbish/tlc. The best thing it has going for it is the rooftop and its views of Bondi Beach. Would not stay here again but the front reception are friendly and the other guests were respectful, as I am pretty sure majority of them live at Noah's.

Went to Noahs to stay for one week and ended up staying there four months (including xmas and new year), location is great, atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are super laid back and helpful. Went back there after my farm work whilst I got settled in Sydney and recommend it as a base to anyone heading to Sydney. Also the view of the beach is to die for!

it may not be the prettiest place, but this is by far the best hostel I have stayed in. Once you get past the minor annoyances and realize how great all the people are, nothing else matters. I stayed at Bounce in the CBD and had a terrible time, unfirendly clicky people (felt like highschool), next day walked into noahs and was instantly best friends with my roommates. going back this week to stay again.

Didn't mind this hostel, it wasn't bad. The rooms were pretty big and clean and the common room was clean too. Wifi does not work in rooms, only works in the common room and it is quite slow. Bathrooms were pretty dirty and needed a reno or major cleaning. Would reccomend as it is great location and pretty cheap.
