Pros: Amazing view of the city sky line from our room, friendly staff, excellent service. Top tier location for access to darling harbour. Cons: our bathroom vent wasn’t working for our duration of stay. So the entire bathroom was damp after any shower (should be fixed immediately) and only two cardboard coffee cups in our room instead of real reusable cups. plus zero spoons. Room was also a little dusty on one of the bedside tables. Asides from those easily fixable cons, it’s a great looking hotel with great service. And I strongly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in darling harbour.

Fantastic all around. Wonderful reservation staff, friendly and helpful staff all through hotel. Nothing was ever an issue. Room was fantastic, beautiful view, superb location. Made for a wonderful birthday getaway. Comfortable beds and nice amenities.

My room was very nice clean and comfortable a great selection of tv channels to choose from. Air conditioning was nice and the bed was comfortable. We tried the bar food and drinks they were nice and well priced and a nice place to sit and drink in pleasant surroundings. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. A great place to stay and so close to Darling Harbor.

I had worked at Novotel for 6 Months during Quarantine, and the Staff were wonderful and very professional. Never had any issues, the Hotel was always kept cleaned and tidy. Management, Reception, House Keeping and Security were were amazing and accommodating.

Really enjoyed our stay at Novotel on Darling Harbour. We stayed for over a week with our 2 young kids over the new year. The location is convenient with a short walk to Sydney aquarium, Wildlife zoo and Pyrmont Bay ferry wharf. IGA express is also across the road. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again when visiting Sydney.

Novotel on Darling harbour was a great place to stay in Sydney. A walkway connects the hotel to Darling Harbour attractions. The executive suite I was staying in was truly picturesque and breath taking. Thank you Novotel. Lots of amenities like pool, gym and banana lounges to relax on the 1st floor. Bar and grill for the hungry traveller. I loved the beer served during happy hour. Hope to stay again.

I am currently finishing Day 1 of my hotel quarantine and I am not sure I will want to leave on Day 14. The staff in this hotel is unbelievable. So friendly and so attentive. If you call and ask for anything they have available, it's outside your door in a few minutes. I don't know how that is possible but they do it. The pre-recorded message they played while we were on the bus at the hotel - waiting to disembark - commented about their world class kitchen and that there would be no hotel quarantine food horror stories here. That is an understatement. 2 days in I can say, unequivocally, the food is outstanding. Very well presented and interesting ingredients and sides. We asked for gluten free options and that was no issue at all. Bless you all for making hotel quarantine something to enjoy and not just endure. Thank you! You are all so appreciated!!

I just spent 2 weeks here for quarantine. The staff were amazing and treated us like actual guests staying in the hotel. Room was the perfect size with a large bathroom & bath! Each time I rang reception for a coffee or ice to keep my drinks cold they would bring it up in a flash, nothing was an effort for them. The food was great too, great variety and flavour! All the nurses that rang each morning to check on me were lovely and patient. I was definitely lucky being placed here! Thanks so much for an enjoyable fortnight!

I stayed here for the 14 day hotel quarantine and I was blown away by the effort the staff and hotel made to make our bad situation as good as it could be. Before going into hotel quarantine I was very anxious to see how I would do without fresh air and sun for 14 days. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. For one the food, was incredible. Absolutely amazing and they gave us a daily option for lunch and dinner which many other hotel quarantine programs do not. They accepted outside orders and deliveries and ran them to your room quickly. On top of all this they ran events such as Trivia, a Wine Tasting and Bingo night that connected the guests to another and provided free prizes which included wine, seafood platters and chocolate. These events really brought the hotel guests together, from some I've connected with and continue to after hotel quarantine. I really can't say enough about the staff and standards of this hotel. I can not wait until I can travel back to Sydney and stay as a guest (on my own terms) at this hotel. Fabulous job everyone (Angela / Andrew / Eric). can't thank you all enough!

Spent 14 days here quarantining. The food was smashing, the bed super comfy and the view dashing. But the best part were the staff - special shout out to the luscious Andrew and luminous Amanda who hosted with true exuberance.

I just spent 2 weeks at this hotel under quarantine for returned travellers. The rooms were good size, clean and well appointed. Bathroom was good size with large vanity, shower and bath. The staff were excellent! My special thanks to Laura & Amanda. But also to the NSW health staff, NSW Police Service and the Australian Army. You all provided excellent support and help during some trying times.

I'm currently on Day 4 of my hotel quarantine at Novotel Darling Harbour and I feel very lucky that I was sent to this hotel! I was immediately put at ease by the staff member who boarded the bus and explained everything to us in such a welcoming and understanding tone. In fact, all the staff have been lovely and welcoming (both during "check-in" and on the phone). The food has also been excellent! The hotel is clearly going above what is expected and are also offering additional perks such as zoom workouts and discounted alcohol/snacks. I hope I will have the chance to stay at this hotel in the near future as I am incredibly grateful for their effort during this unprecedented time. Well done to all the team!!

Great experience so far!! I am on day 8 of my 14 day mandatory quarantine and I am feeling so lucky to be staying here. The rooms are clean, I have an amazing view of Darling Harbour and I cannot speak highly enough about the food. It's of such high quality, not to mention you get to choose between two menu options for both lunch and dinner. They also accommodate all dietary restrictions, yet still maintain such high quality dishes for all meals. The staff have all been very friendly and requests I have put in are tended to immediately, which makes me feel like they genuinely care about the experience all of their guests are having, especially during this strange time.

Considering it's a quarantine hotel it's not too bad. The room is big, the beds comfy, the food awesome and the view, spectacular. The staff are wonderful considering the difficult times we are in.

I feel very lucky to have been here for my 14 day quarantine, as it's been extremely comfortable, clean and the rooms & facilities in them are excellent...a large fridge big enough for my 'care package' items & even had a bath! The staff are brilliant & so helpful, with any request I made to the Housekeeping team delivered straight away. The food was great & having a choice of 2 options was very unexpected...a highlight of my day was the meal 'knock' on the door! Large room (with 2 very comfy beds) & a large window, so I didn't feel claustrophobic at all and could easily exercise. Great idea about the extra Zoom activities. If it wasn't for missing my husband, the cat & fresh air I could have quite happily stayed another week!! Thank you to the management & team for an enjoyable relaxing 'stay' : )

I was basically there for my quarantine stay. Could not avail all the services of the hotel. The staff were cordial and cooperative. Thee was not much interaction due to quarantine protocols but I was able to get immediate help from the staff and the in house nurses in cases of issues. That's a plus. There were events held for the guests for.their entertainment via zoom. The staff really tried to make the guests feel at ease. The food was good as they catered to the food preferences of every guest and me being vegetarian... Did not find any food issues at all... Thanks Novotel for making my stay a not so painful experience.

Definitely 5 stars for this hotel. Room and service are great, location are good with great view from windows. I stayed here for 14 days of quarantine with my mom. We got a huge room, I think it might be the room with 78 square meters when we have two big windows screen. The furniture and amenities are great, but not really into the shower one, quite old I think. The service is great that they called twice everyday to check whether we felt good or needed anything that they could provide or not. They provides some Zoom activities or healthcare class that we could join and participated with others, which helped people reduce their stress or depress. When I ordered the food from outside, the staff delivered to me quite fast as well, that made the food still hot when I received it. Noticeable that, the food that Novotel provided are tasty as well, and the amount of food are quite full for a person. We stayed there during the Easter time, they even gave us the chocolate bunny and color pencil as complimentary. Personally, I highly recommend people who are still staying there, order the food from the hotel, which are on the separate hotel menu, their seafood are really fresh, the fish and chips are amazing !!!
