S. F.Great food and service with amazing ocean views. This little gem is tucked away at the Entrance and it’s a must if you’re looking for quality seafood. We had a staff Christmas lunch and we loved it. It was a little hot being seated next to the glass windows so I’d suggest something be done to improve the air circulation and cooling, but that’s the only issue. Lovely staff and we were made to feel very welcome. Loved it!

M. D.Really friendly team of people working here. Enjoyed my stay here. Just be aware that rates vary (obviously m) depending on which day of the week you are staying. Sunday to Thursdays are off peak.
The good thing is that this is located so incredibly close to the beach and the pool. Not to mention there is daily room service for replacement of towels and there is decent internet speeds via the free wifi and Netflix/YouTube being available on the large screen TV.
You also get really lovely breezes if you open up the sliding doors. There is also a washing machine downstairs ($4 per wash cycle I think it was).
Only one slight thing to be aware of is that there is no microwave in the rooms. Though there is one in the communal laundry room and if you paid $10 you can ‘rent’ one.
Overall an enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning again.

I stayed in a 3rd floor nicely refurbished room and even though it was cool I spent a bit of me time on the balcony inhaling the salt air. Comfortable bed, great bathroom and with a superb restaurant downstairs: wonderful. Highly recommended.

W.Park, walk three metres and open your door and right there lapping at your terrace are the ocean waves - this is simple elegance with extreme convenience - gorgeous ocean view restaurant 20 seconds walk from the room but you’ll only every hear the sound of the waves in bed. Decor fresh and super clean. Little touches like the foot rest on your balcony chair (might be nice if there were two chairs). My only request is that the owners consider permitting houseproud, well mannered dogs in the garden apartments, they are fenced with grass - perfect place for beach pooches. Love this place, wish I could give more stars.

D. N.I love this motel. My husband and I discovered this place years ago and go several times a year. We go every year and stay for our anniversary. We love this place. The view from the balcony is amazing. It’s nice to just sit on the balcony with a drink and just relax. You walk downstairs and you are at the beach. Listening to the waves crashing at night is absolutely beautiful. The spa on the balcony room is amazing. You get to sit in a spa on your balcony and watch the ocean. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s worth the money.

H. W.It was honestly the most amazing weekend away and much needed. The whole atmosphere was gorgeous. The view absolutely breathtaking. The complex was modern, well maintained (not run down like some), great location, approximately 15 minute walk to The Entrance main streets. Great sized rooms and the spa just made the room. Beautiful sunlight in the morning and decently priced. The only thing which I can complain about is the fact that you could hear the neighboring rooms on either sides which was awkward but other than that, we will definitely be back again.

Only reason I’m giving a 3 star review is because we had an issue with our room one night that’s a bit unsanitary for hotels. When we brought it to the hotel’s attention the next day we did get an apology but it would’ve been nice to have received something complimentary (like a late checkout or breakfast) to make up for the issue we had. I don’t want to go into too much detail because other than that issue we really did enjoy our time there. But just wanted to say when something serious like that happens in a hotel it’s nice for them to really go above and beyond with their customer service to their guests.

A. L.I checked this motel out for a break in January 2014 before I booked it and what a fantastic choice I made. Great spot overlooking the beach - quiet but close to the main part of The Entrance. Only a 2' walk to the only 50 m ocean pool in the area and a fantastic restaurant attached to the building but independently run. Staff were friendly and extremely obliging and the room I had on the reception level was well set out, felt spacious and was well maintained. I would recommend it highly and most certainly will be staying there again.

A highly recommended place to stay for those heading to the Central Coast.

B.A very nice, clean, lovely room, with a queen- sized bed and a single bed. Went there overnight with our 2 year-old, and the unit has a little courtyard which was just perfect! Courtyard backs up to the waterfront; the only minus to this was that there was no exit/access gate on the courtyard fence, something with a deadlock or lockable bolted gate would have been tremendous! The bathroom was a bit dated and the place in need of a renovation, but it was still quite nice. Wish they offered breakfast?!
Left behind a pair of hubby's jeans, and they are sending them out this week, thank you Ocean Front.
