N. P. K.Just wow!! Sierra was truly magical and exceeded our expectations (even though we spent hours stalking the images on the website as we couldn't handle our excitement). Don't let the price deter you. It was worth every penny and more. A fantastic place that we will definitely be returning to in the future. The weather was perfect, nice and hot. But with the pool and the higher altitude, once you open up the tent, you feel cool and relaxed. On top of that there were more amenities than I anticipated. Can't wait to revisit in the Winter. This is beyond glamping, it's a lifestyle I could get used to! Thanks Sierra Team, see you in the future. 🤙
C.We had a delayed birthday weekend at Sierra Escape (due to covid), by far the most luxurious glamping I’ve experienced here in Australia. We stayed in the Wirra tent which was incredible, completely private with amazing views over the valley. The tent was perfectly cool inside whilst on a hot day. Loved having an outdoor bath whilst the kangaroos hopped by. The owners have thought of every detail including personal touches such as chocolate and wine on arrival. The weekend was magical, can’t wait to go back again…Thanks for having us!

The view, the level of service, details and charm of this property are top notch, so on point that my partner and I couldn’t think of one bad thing to say. The most perfect getaway ever and I’d love to come again in winter.

V. A.We stayed in the WIRRA tent. Sierra's WIRRA tent I believe is by far the biggest and most glamorous out of all the tents. They provided us with literally everything. All you need is to bring your clothes...the sheets, towels, blankets cushions EVERYTHING is SO fresh its as if it was all brand new! Everything was perfect, the tent is so strong and durable it was very windy but you can still sleep great. Cannot wait to come back
J. M.My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at the Dulili tent. We had to unfortunately reschedule our trip late last year due to the covid situation in NSW. Cam, Tasch and the rest of the team were professional, understanding and communicative throughout which we very much appreciated. Needless to say it was definitely worth the wait.
The tent was situated in a perfect location on the top of a hill overlooking down below. The views were spectacular and the tent was perfect; beautiful, clean, comfortable and extremely well set up. The pool was also great to have a dip during the warmer months. We would also highly recommend the adding the in-tent massage option. Virigina was professional, excellent and we both felt rejuvenated after.
This is a perfect place for couples to relax, unwind and escape the busy city life. We can not recommend this place enough and will definitely been booking again in the future in one of the other tents and will be recommending Sierra to all our friends and family!

We had been wanting to try Sierra Escape for a long time, and finally did on our recent visit to Mudgee. It well and truly exceeded our expectations. We stayed in Dulili and it was beautiful. Being able to run the bath with an Alexa command was fantastic!
It was so private, with amazing views for miles. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and there was even a sonos speaker to play your own music, and a second room with another huge round bath.
We are already looking into dates to visit again in winter, would love to spend some time around the fire pit.
R. I.What a gorgeous time we had at Sierra. We had our supposedly birthday visit cancelled twice due to Covid, however the team was understanding and communicative through these uncertain times. We finally made it and throughout our stay, they were equally prompt with their responses. The tent itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed there and had an awesome, relaxing time. Saw all the wildlife, from bunnies to kangaroos, galahs, dingos and even a turtle! We also had all weather situations in two days, cloudy and grey, sunny with after-shower rainbows, as well as lighting show at night, it was great to have such variety and still enjoyed it all the same. Lovely way to unplug, thanks for having us :) All the best!
e. b.Myself and my husband stayed at Sierra Escapes for a pre-baby getaway and were absolutely blow away! From the minute we arrived we were amazed not only with the spectacular views but with the exceptionally high quality of the accomodation and the attention to detail from check in to check out. The small personal touches the team have added made us both grin from ear to ear! This is the perfect place for a special getaway with a loved one to sit back, relax and take in the glorious vista in style. Needless to say you won’t want to leave at the end of your stay.
We will definitely be rebooking and recommending Sierra to all our friends and family!
U. K.This was our second visit to Sierra and it didn't disappoint. It is truly the best way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The new tent was absolutely perfect! It is luxurious yet homely, with a charming fireplace, 2 bathtubs (one on the outdoor deck), a fully equipped kitchen, a very spacious bathroom, walk in dressing room and the comfiest king size bed. Yoga on the new pool deck was the absolute cherry on top! Sierra is a must.
a. n.Staying at Sierra is a must! From the moment you drive in through the beautifully lit driveway you are in a world of your own. The stunning views, passing wildlife, and the sounds of nature all allow for you to instantly relax. Highlights include the outdoor bathtub on the deck, yoga by the pool, and the wonderful restaurants and wineries in the region. Will definitely be back!!

What a fantastic luxury tent and the location was spot on
This tent faces North so u have sun all daytime
Loved the Alexa futures really amazing for a tent to work most of it by Alexa voice commands
Outdoor shower is the highlight of the tent as for me
Was super clean and private
Tried the pool also at the middle of the land and was great also
Will go back winter also to try the fire 🔥 pit outdoor
Only notes for I would mention for my stay would prefer to have cast iron pan etc so during winter u can cook outside at the 🔥 pit
And during our stay was windy so the outside bbq was really hard to get hot cos the wind was hiring if it from the side “entrance of the tent “ so I would prefer an improvement there with something blocking the winds from the side of the bbq
At the end I would say everyone should book minimum 2 nights and have this experience 100% it is amazing spot clean private luxurious and worth every $

The views were spectacular, the atmosphere was magical and I cannot recommended this place more for any and all couples to completely relax and unwind!
T. C.Beautiful, relaxing and romantic experience for our honeymoon. We loved everything about this experience... the secluded location and surroundings were so peaceful and welcoming. The Dulili Tent was lovely and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches from the marshmallows to the condiments, muesli and hot choccie and tea/coffee.
The sparkling wine added to the local produce package we also ordered was perfect for our first night by the fireplace and the supply of board games, bath salts etc, we seriously couldn't fault Sierra Escape.
The options to add on in tent massage and the horse-riding, lunch and wine tour day package was fantastic and both Veronika and Martiza were wonderful.
We will be back to experience more of Mudgee and Sierra Escape!
A. J.This place is a dream! The perfect escape from our busy life’s in the city. Very picturesque and relaxing. We had the most wonderful time there and everything is so well thought through (check in, welcoming messages, instructions, gate, Alexa in the tent) Everything on point! We loved it! The weather was cold and rainy when we arrived which wasn’t a problem at all thank the fireplace inside the tent which makes it so cozy 🥰 thank you!
N. T.Just came back from an incredible couple of nights at Sierra. We stayed in the Alkira tent and woke up to the stunning view out the window each morning.
The property is gorgeous- the arrival is easy as you receive great instructions prior, and the tent is very thoughtfully planned out. The fireplace was ready to go, towels ready, bath salts for the *spectacular* baths, amenities such as shower and kitchen available.
We made breakfast, carried it out to the deck, and enjoyed the peaceful panorama. Some kangaroos came and watched us eat pancakes one morning. We even used the bbq for dinner. We were very content to just stay and enjoy the view.
Could have happily remained there forever. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
C. V.My husband and I stayed at Sierra Escape on the weekend and it was incredible. We stayed at the Wirra tent, and the views of the valley were spectacular. The tent itself was spacious & furnished with impeccable taste. We enjoyed how secluded & close to nature we were - e.g we could hear wonderful bird sounds in the morning & see kangaroos hopping by the balcony. The tent was well equipped with various cooking supplies (i.e BBQ and hot plate inside) so we were able to enjoy a nice cooked dinner at night while we took in the beautiful views of the valley from our private balcony. The plunge pool onsite also had incredible views and was an amazing area to chill out (would also be a great place for a morning yoga or meditation session). The stand out of the trip was enjoying a bath under the stars which was a very unique experience. Would highly recommend Sierra Escape to anyone that is wanting a detox from their crazy busy life or anyone curious to try out a 5 star glamping experience.

L. C.What can I say, the place is amazing! Sierra Escape is so well set up. Apart from indoor and outdoor fires, the tents, which are basically luxury hotel rooms made from canvas, have so much going on. Everything is run intelligently, just ask Alexa to turn the the lights on, and she does. For the indoor and outdoor fires, there's a wood supply, and there's not only an indoor bath, but an outdoor one also for when you want to lay in a hot bath and stare up at the stars. We bought food in Mudgee, and then BBQ'd (there's one on the front deck) each evening whilst watching the sun go down. We didn't seem to have any issues with mice either, as we understand there's a bit of a mice situation happening in country NSW at the moment. Mudgee itself has a load of grea wineries, so be sure to do some exploring. There's a yoga deck & pool at Sierra too, I highly recommend for all you love birds looking to get off the beaten track.

S. H.Our stay at Sierra Mudgee Escape's Carinya tent was super luxurious! Everything was perfectly accounted for by our hosts Cam and Tasch, from the lush amenities to being surrounded by wildlife to the breathtaking view! It was a truly unique experience that helped us unwind and smell the roses. I especially loved waking up to watch the sunrise bathing the hills in hues of orange and yellow. We also booked an in-tent massage with Virginia who was very skillful and made me so relaxed i even dozed off! The tent is less than 30 min from town so it is easy to pop into town for supplies and great coffee. I highly reccomend booking with Sierra Mudgee Escapes. You will not be disappointed!
G. B.Truly enjoyed our stay at the Carinya tent. Some highlights were the beautiful view and the indoor and outside fireplace. The bbq was also a perk that we used with gusto. Even though it was June and chilly the many blankets and hot bath did not make the experience not enjoyable. We also booked a massage with Virginia for our tent. Please note that Virginia does not focus on sports massage or kneading type of massage if that is something you are looking for; rather she is very gentle and relaxing. The only disappointment was that they were so booked we went with the tent without the outside bathtub which was quite a downer as it is fairly expensive booking. Overall, I recommend visiting for additional adventure, excellent customer service (Cam is a solution-oriented very gracious host!) and an opportunity to view the stars undisturbed by the city lights.

There’s nothing bad I can say and everything positive about this place. It’s a photographers dream giving you amazing sunsets, and if you’re up early enough you can capture the sunrise.
We made best of the meat/cheese board which was delicious and the massage (which we fell asleep during it was so good!)

L. N.Wow, just wow. I booked a weekend at Uralla for my boyfriend’s birthday and knew it was going to be amazing, but was still blown away when we got there! The scenery was stunning, the tent was luxe, and I loved all the little touches (marshmallows to toast at the fireplace, local treats like granola and chocolate, bottle of bubbles). We spent our nights by the fireplace drinking wine and playing scrabble and the days exploring the wineries and town. It was a absolutely incredible weekend and worth every dollar!

Took my girlfriend on a romantic getaway for 2 nights and we stayed the Dulili tent. The tent itself is amazing, so many little details inside that have so been well thought, and the best was very comfy.
The views from inside the tent looking out are so beautiful overlooking the Mudgee region. The outdoor bath is seriously epic! We had a hot bath under the stars both nights and cooked marshmallows (that were provided) on the outdoor fire.
We stayed in winter so we had the fire cracking inside the tent to keep it nice and warm and cosy inside.
There are heaps of good local wines that we enjoyed on the deck and we bought the added produce platter and had beautiful picnic on the grass out the front watching the sunset on arvo which was really nice, along with the local kangaroos.
We didn't see anyone else on the property so you feel like so it makes it feel very special and private.
Thanks for having us at your amazing place.

J. P.The whole escape was absolutely stunning even with the grass and trees being affected by the dry weather this summer. The actual tent, amenities, toiletries and small details were just enough to provide a comfortable and stress free stay. We walked around and probably 10 minutes from the tent we were able to catch the sunset behind the mountainous landscape. The off-grid electricity and hot water system worked well for the 2 of us, without much problems other than water pressure (which was fine).
The location was a perfect distance away from Mudgee's town. We were lucky we bought enough groceries to fill the small fridge and made dinner both nights, as there are no restaurants open during the weekdays.
Only thing to be cautious of is that the roads are definitely very bumpy for a 2WD once you enter from the main roads.

And the views are simply breathtaking. We had so many people asking us where we were staying because of the photos shared on social media. Even then, these photos do not do the place justice! It is a must-do if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The whole experience was spectacular - the view (seriously wow), the privacy (we saw more Roos than people), the peacefulness (the loudest sound is your own heartbeat) and the fitout has everything you could need (and more). Taking an afternoon soak in the bathtub on the deck whilst sipping on the Block 8 Shiraz from Lowe Wines was a highlight. As was walking along the western ridge at sunset and waking up to watch the sunrise from the super comfy bed. True luxury!
