Great spot for families with fur babies! It's not easy finding places that allow dogs during peak seasons so I was super happy to come across this place. Spent two nights in one of their glamping tents and had an amazing time. Will definitely stay there again... and again... and again.

Disappointed this time. Has been let go . Kitchen tap was not in its socket so hard to turn from hot to cold. Tv remote broken so very hard to change channels. This was my third stay so it was sad for me and my dog. The position is perfect ,I do hope they get things improved or I have told lots of people how good it was and they are not going to be happy.

Really nice place to stay good for the kids, close to the water and kids playground, has the pool to the right heaps of places to go fishing wharfs really nice place to stay has the local pubs and bowling clubs also not to far. Has the boat ramps stay here for 5 days and each day was beautiful and sunny overcast. Definitely be back.

Great spot, right across fro the water and minutes from the cafes, tavern and boat ramps. Good fishing across the road, and you can bring your dog. The cabins are clean and comfortable.

Great location for a pet friendly break with a park, kids play area and the River opposite. We had a couple of issues with the cabin that were quickly resolved by management when they were brought to their attention. Liked the separate container for recycling While the accomodation was good, there was only enough room for a small 2 seat lounge and the dining chairs as seating options. The bunk beds looked too short for older children above average height. There was a wake up service every morning around 7 as the bins in the park across the road are emptied, by I would assume the local council? The professional cleaning company used the clean the cabins had not moved the lounge in our cabin to clean around it as I found a dog chew stick and a shopping bag from a previous visitor when I it to push we were departing.

Liz and Simon were so accommodating and kind. The property was clean and had all necessary requirements for cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back to visit again.

We stayed at 3 bedroom house.. and it was so perfect. Amazing location and comfort house...absolutely worth it.. also appreciate assistance of manager who helped us in an emergency middle of the night... Would highly recommend the place.

The tents are very noisy in the wind making it hard to sleep and tends to be windy til about midnight. Not many utensils in the kitchen but otherwise very pleasant. Very quiet and clean.

We stayed in a water view cabin. Gorgeous views. Complimentary fresh eggs on arrival and coffee. Free use of the bikes and DVDs. The kids made use of both. Love the water and park right across the road. Can see the kids perfectly from the windows and balcony of the cabin. Very friendly staff and very clean cabins. Thank you, will come again.

Spotlessly clean & modern. Customer service wonderful. Cannot fault anything. Stayed 4 nights in Cabin #5 - 1 bedroom cabin, self contained - fabulous water view. Stayed for work and looking forward to coming back for weekend getaway. A quiet and pretty town and a great place to stay for a getaway. Thank you for everything Liz and staff. ⛱

We stayed in a studio for two nights and it was immaculate. Very clean and well equipped with everything we expected plus a few nice extras like a plunger and fresh coffee. Very friendly staff who welcomed us with our dog. The youngest of the staff even offered to mind our dog although I don't think this is a typical service they offer, but very friendly and we are grateful. The location is also excellent with a quiet and picturesque waterfront park across the road. Highly recommended, we will be visiting again.

I love this place! We stayed in the large safari tent for 2 nights and had the most amazing time! The tents are so well set up, modern and clean-best shower we've had in 6 weeks of traveling. Very reasonably priced for what you are getting. The breakfast hamper was a generous size and full of delicious goodies. The staff were so lovely and helpful (even at 8pm at night when we tripped the power!) Highly recommended, the town is quite small but locals are lovely and scenery is quite spectacular. Thanks so much for a magical end to our trip!

Stayed 2 nights at south coast retreat 18 and 19 October 2018. Great location right on the point and A stones throw to parkland and water. Sat on balcony and watched activity on water and boat ramp. We had our dog with us he loved the walks along water front and couldn't resist the occasional swim. Great staff and clean cabin. Highly recommend GLEN MOON

Great spot! 2 minutes walk from eateries, 1 minute from the water, very scenic and pelicans galore. Units very clean and comfy - may try the glamping option next time the "tents" look terrific! Staff really friendly and couldn't be more helpful.

I could not recommend South Coast Retreat highly enough. Chosen because of the dog-friendliness, went over and above out expectations! Perfect location opposite water, park and lovely walkway around waterway. Water views from our upstairs unit, great facilities and very thoughtful touches. Well equipped kitchen, BBQ and balcony gave us a great option for eating at home. Machine coffee made at reception for a donation, even bought over to my unit! Staff are a delight and the whole booking process was very professional. SCR offers extremely good value and I cant wait to return with our fishing rods next time!

A very nice place to getaway for a few days. The staff and particularly owners were very warm and kind. Great service Our tent was 5 stars. Clean well presented and comfortable. Beach and fishing at our door step. Be warned ... you will have a very nice relaxing break.

This place is fantastic!! Places were clean and all friendly, only gripe, was that the other people staying lot the fire and because of the wind went straight through the safari tent we were in and others were smoking and talking obnoxiously loud til 3 am. Otherwise it was a great place, food in the area although friendly was suboptimal

It’s pet friendly which is already 5 stars from me ! It’s very clean and you got everything you need in the studio ! Plus you are near the water which is nice , the staff is friendly and it’s easy to check in and check out . You feel safe also , I’m a single women with my dog so it’s nice to feel safe .

This place is awesome. It is the absolute best pet friendly place we've ever been to. We stay in a cabin ( dogs are allowed to sleep inside too ) right opposite the lake & a park with a lengthy walkway in between to exercise the dogs & enjoy a leisurely walk.

Fantastic for travelling with your dog. Cabins are clean and cosy. Bed is comfy as well. Full kitchen and the balcony is secured with water views. The staff are super helpful as well. Will return with our little cavoodle.

We stayed in the large safari glamping tents. Owners are warm and friendly. All the little extras are free - wifi, coffee made for you at reception, fresh eggs, DVD hire, laundry facilities. The tent is very clean, comfortable and spacious. It is well insulated so it doesn’t get extremely hot. Opening the windows lets the cool breeze through. The location is excellent, being right next to the Greenwell Point Park, public swimming pool, 2 excellent fish and chips shops. IGA, pub, butchers, pharmacy are just a short walk away.

We have stayed at Angler's Rest in May 2015 & again in October 2015, having just the best stay on the east coast of OZ and so picturesque at Greenwell Point. An unsaid beauty. Staff are great and welcoming. Accommodation is very clean and tidy.

Stayed in the Safari glamping tents over Christmas. It was a 5 star hotel experience with sparkling clean tents, kitchen, and bathroom! The bbq on the deck was great and all cutlery and kitchen appliances were available to use. The safari tent had an amazing waterview with just seconds walk to the beautiful waters. No bugs at all! Really recommend for people looking for a glamping experience!!!!! Im usually a luxury hotel girl but this experience was exactly a luxury escape. The staff were amazing thank you for having us!!!

One of the nicest places to visit whilst down the south coast. We stayed in cabin 4 on 1st & 2nd Feb and could not have been happier. Staff were very welcoming on arrival and check-in was seamless. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and we availed ourselves of the free Wi-Fi and complimentary dvd library when the weather turned sour. We really can't fault the place and will definitely come back and stay in the same cabin (which has uninterrupted water views). We'd recommend the Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens Club about 10 minutes out of town for superb food and friendly service.

We love Angler's Rest Greenwell Point NSW. We first went there for our Honeymoon & have been numerous times since. In fact we look for excuses to go there. We find Liz, Simon Cindy & other staff very helpful & friendly. They make us feel that it is our home away from home. Being walking distance from the best fish & chips in NSW sold by DJ's is also a plus, & the fact that Crookhaven Heads has a off leash beach where we can take our dog is a real joy for us It's good to be among real animal lovers. Our Staffy is always made welcome & that make it very relaxing for us. Terry Wilde
