T. W.This place is beautiful. Peaceful, private and a gorgeous place to relax. The birds flew right onto my hand to be fed. And the owners are so thoughtful! We found coffee, fresh milk, fruit, milk, eggs, bread and more. Can’t wait to return.
L. P.The perfect couples recharge place on the south coast. What Mark and Sue have created is very special. We loved our stay in the white bower and have already booked a return trip. The accomodation is spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. On top of what you need there is a luxurious bath, comfortable bed and snuggly couch with a fireplace. While feeling like you are deep in the bush it’s only a short drive to beaches and cafes.
Can’t recommend highly enough, you just have to try it.

A. H.Back to stay after 2 years when we got married here. Its looking amazing and recovered extremely well.
We saw plenty of native birds inclluding a very friendly kookaburra who we could hand feed. The hot shower in outside the bower amongst the eucalyptus is a pure and beautiful experience. Mark and Sue were so nice, polite and informative hosts as usual. If you haven't been, its worth the trip.

M. L.A perfect holiday destination. The bowers are built to feel like you're living as part of the woods with big high ceilings and windows everywhere. Perfect for relaxing in.
There are a few walks to do but there's plenty to explore just outside your door.
Located just off the highway, it's easy to get to other places. There's even a Tesla charging station!

From when my wife started inquiring and making a tentative booking to changing what packages we wanted in the lead up, the staff were extremely accommodating.
When we got there, check in was extremely quick and friendly and off we went to our private little bower.
From the moment we pulled into our private driveway, the place screamed seclusion. As we entered the Bower itself, we were blown away. Beautiful high ceilings, lovely and clean through out with modern furniture and appliances. With so many little inclusions in there like fresh milk (1L bottle), multiple large towels, and of course, the bacon and egg breakfast in the fridge.
We had an extremely relaxing weekend together as a chance to escape from our busy lives and came home thoroughly refreshed.
Even as we checked out, the staff mentioned how relaxed and different we looked compared to when we arrived.
Would highly recommend this place to any couple looking to get away and reconnect.
J. E.Mark and Sue have thought of everything for the couple's retreat. Scented candles, artisan soap and beautiful secluded cabins that could be miles from the next living person. We had a wonderful stay over the winter. Nights in front of the fire and long sleep-ins in the massive bed. BBQ and bird feeder were great too!
I can't wait to be back. I want to try summer with more time on the deck into the evenings.

M. H.We stayed in the Airstream bambino and it was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The perfect spot to enjoy the wildlife and nearby beaches. The outdoor shower is a great addition - we were very happy with our choice of accommodation.

Within 5 minutes from Broulee beach and driveway access to a main highway to get you anywhere along the the south coast with ease.
We have been traveling there from Canberra for the last decade and will continue to do so for as long as they will have us. A highly recommended getaway for couples who wish to spend some true quality, private time with each other. With the added serenity of a business that doesn't allow children.

T. M.We had a wonderful and very relaxing time at this forest hideaway last fortnight. Nothing is too hard and they truly know how to enjoy the tranquility of The Bower's settings. In fact there are ***y easily accessable beaches northeast and south. We got some good food from the health food cafe on Church Street in Moruya.
S. G.My partner and I had such a beautiful relaxing escape! The cabin was perfect! We felt at home as soon as we walked in! We loved the special touches like the soft music playing on our arrival, robes and slippers, fresh fruit and delicious breakfast!

We are here in winter, and the fireplace is complimented by a heater for the less "survivalist" inclined :-) Spa. Heated tiles. Big shower. Ordered bbq hamper and it is great too.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful quiet surroundings and the idyllic fauna that visited our porch often throughout the few days we were there.
B. T.In a great location, we found the Bower at Broulee has so much to offer anyone on the lookout for a private couples paradise. It offers the peace and tranquillity of the bush in luxurious surroundings.
The bower itself is equipped with everything we could possibly need and was more like our own personal resort spa. Our favourite was the bathroom of the Black Bower, with the massive, double spa bath and separate double shower.
T. M.My partner and I stayed in The Gold Bower and it was amazing. The lodges are modern and allow a wonderful escape from the city yet it's not far to the beach at Broulee and the restaurants/cafes of Bate***s Bay. Thanks to Mark and Sue and the team for creating a vacation heaven.
b.Second time at the Bower and will definitely be coming back as soon as possible. Mark & Sue are hospitable and create a lovely environment to relax, explore and the relatively poor mobile reception is also an advantage, even though it takes a few hours to get used to.
If you're looking for a relaxing get away, in luxury, this is a great option and recommended.
A. K.Superb in every way. Luxury Eco Tourism at it's best. The Bowers are so private, peaceful and extremely comfortable. You feel like it's just you and the forest. The owners could not have been more helpful. Can't recommend highly enough.
T. M.The hotel itself is located in a great area. Have just returned from a beach walk (could have walked but we took the easy drive to option) and are now enjoying a glass of wine while listening to the cicada chorus. The food is great. The people in the hotel are very nice.

T. M.I will say this up front: We are travel writers and given the opportunity to write about this oasis. I found everything to be clean. There are some lovely walks in the forest surrounding the cabins, where you find even more wildlife. Price was very reasonable for all you got.
T. M.WE enjoyed seeing these colorful parrots eat from the bird feeder in the terrace. Beautifully appointed chalets with floor to ceiling windows over looking a relaxing timber deck boarded by bushland and the most glorious visitors each morning. Thankyou The Bower for reviving our body and souls as well as our relationship.
