D. R.Awesome food, best Chicken Parma and Fishermans basket I have had for a very long time. Highly recommend the food. Nice areas for outdoor dining and 6/10 for Covid Safety, some staff need to wear their masks properly. But in general a great team of really good staff, friendly and engaging

D. S.It’s time for a review update. Came here yesterday for a bite to eat with the Mrs and it was fantastic. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was top shelf and the pub was clean and tidy. It appears to have been renovated since I was last here and the theme is very nice! There was plenty of Miners laptops to have a slap on, the drinks were cold and refreshing and it wasn’t too badly priced with a vodka and Red Bull being $10.
I’ll say this again that the food is very nice. We didn’t have a good win but our money wasn’t sucked either.
Overall it’s well worth a stop in.

The first day we came here we tried a burger each. My partner had the Dirty Harry he found that it was very salty. He would of give. More stars if it was less salty. However it was still had a good taste. I had the lakes burger. I would give it 5 stars it tasted amazing best pub burger I have had.
The second day we came for a beer and chicken wings. We decided to go with the buffalo chicken wings we ended up ordering two rounds of
Then because they where so good. The taste is almost like a paprika, capsicum sauce with little head. I would say mild spiciness.
The pub has a massive range of tap beers are 15-16 different types of beer.
B. R.Had the rump for lunch, and I have to say, it was actually best one I've had on the coast so far. Mostly, everyone else's lunches were decent sizes too, although the fish was a little too small for my dads liking.

I really enjoyed my meals - both interesting salads; one with smoked chicken and the other with fresh cooked prawns. The hotel's dining area looked like it had recently undergone a substantial renovation, and was open and modern. The serving staff were very friendly and efficient and meal waiting times were excellent both visits.

G. L.I loved my stay at the Lakes Hotel. I was in Sydney for 5 days and decided to have a night off and explore The Entrance.
The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the shared amenities were well maintained, the bed was comfy and the food was great.
The location is central and in walking distance from the beach and lots of lovely shops.
The room was quiet also, despite being located on top of the hotel's bar and gaming rooms.
O. -. O. B. Z.Nice refurbished bar area. This place has a nice restaurant joined to the pub, out the back. We had Burgers with chips here and found them very tasty and fresh. The beer on tap is nice and cold. The pub and restaurant is nicely presented and staff are very helpful and attentive. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience. 5/5

P. S.This is a big call, i think this is the best pub lunch I have ever had, even one of the top 5 meals I have ever had. I had the special which was Scallops and porkbelly with asain salad, the scallops were plump and beatifully cooked, the pork belly was yum as and it went perfectly with the asain salad, bloody great. My wife had the Pumpkin and fetta salad, and rather than a bit of pumpkin spread through the salad there was a nice wedge beautifully baked slightly caramilised and she really enjoyed it.

M. F.Decent hotel. The rooms don't look how they do in the photos, they're older and not as neat. The room we stayed in was "The Writing Room" which had a frosted glass door with no curtain and the light from the hall illuminated the room the entire night.

A. 1.We have stay twice and love the place. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food was great value. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony area in the evenings and it is walking distance to everything, including fishing!! Excellent value for coastal holiday accommodation.

The food is quite expensive but there's cheaper specials on offer every night. The Surf & Turf ($35) was a bit tough & didn't wow me but I didn't mind the Bacon & Cheese Turkish bread ($8). The missus had the Avocado & Quinoa salad with Chicken ($18) & she was also underwhelmed. There's a decent TAB area to have a bet & there's an app to download but I found it difficult to navigate & sign up so I didn't bother after multiple attempts.

C. A.Last day of my holiday with husband and three kids. I had the salmon with salad and chips. The salmon was a bit small. My husband had the chicken schnitzel parmi which was a goid portion and the kids meals were nuggets and chips. The prices were good. The meals were fantastic. We'll come here again. Most definitely.

E.Cheap hotel, you get what you paid for. Stayed there one night, share bathroom, the bathroom have 2 bath and 2 toilet. The room size is ok, but is very old, they just painted the door, the paint was wet, wasn't warned beforehead, the room was filled with paint smell. The beds are uncomfrotable, lack of facilities and amenties. If you have a higher budget, i suggest you go somewhere else.
