m. h.From the minute we arrived we were made so welcome we stayed in the spa room which hasn’t been refurbished like all the other rooms but the spa was amazing and the room has everything you need and was very clean the pool was fantastic and the town is lovely thankyou for a lovely stay will be back
s. L.We got there late so was dark, but the ground floor room was nice, clean kitchen with useful utensils. Comfortable beds, nice deck and tables outside. Appeared to have been recently renovated, older bathroom but everything worked. Nice big TV and comfortable lounge chairs.

N. S.Extremely happy with this accommodation. I booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 1 night. It was well presented, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped (would maybe have liked a microwave ... but stove top and oven, just as good!). Lounge was spacious and had an enormous TV that was well positioned. While it is on the 'main road', there is not much traffic in Broulee, so traffic noise was non-existent. The owners are lovely and very hospitable. I also highly recommend the Thai take-away out front (which is also part of the Motel). Delicious! I will definitely stay at "The Lodge" my next visit to Broulee. Thank you!
J. P.Marco and Ly have managed to transform a motel into an Oriental sanctuary in the South Coast. The Lodge is a perfect balance of the comfort and cleanliness you expect of a highly rated hotel but somehow manages to feel like a second home.
I was stationed here for weeks at a time due to my work with the bushfire relief in Mogo. Marco and Ly were always there to have a great chat, answer any specific requirements, and to ensure that everything was comfortable for my stay.
The Lodge isn't just accommodation, it is an experience, and a testament to amazing customer service.
L. R.The manager, Marco, was very friendly and welcoming. He told us where we could find somewhere to eat. The accommodation was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately there was no shower gel and a hand towel in the kitchen would be useful. The kitchen was very well equipped. The motel was very quiet.
A. M.The room was very nice with a fully equipped kitchen including oven, stove top and cookware and close to the beaches. I only stayed two nights so took advantage of the Thai food cart instead. The same family who run Two Sisters Thai restaurant in Canberra. The owners were very friendly and more than accommodating and even drove me to one out of the way location as I didn't have a car. The motel has a pool and massage available. The only minus is that the lounge appears to double as a sofabed, thus the cushions sink into the hollow and isn't the most comfortable. One suggestion, perhaps put a removable board over the hollow so that the cushions don't sink. Despite this I would highly recommend this hotel. They couldn't do enough for me.
A.This place does not feel like a lodge at all. We felt we were staying excellent Airbnb managed by a Superhost.
Our family stayed in two rooms both of which had different personal touches. Macro and his wife are excellent managers, although there were other guests in the motel, we had personalised communication before and during our stay. Broulee is an beautiful quite town, and this place really adds to the experience.

Great staff, owner is someone you can call in the middle of the night because your toaster isn't working. Very very kind staff. Each unit at The Lodge was well maintained, clean and tastefully designed; self contained with more than adequate amenities and high grade appliances.
The free wifi available was uninterrupted throughout my two weeks stay, and facilities on-site including laundry, gym, pool, and the bbq area was a bonus and adds to the appeal for long-term stayers.
The location of The Lodge is ideally located within a short 4mins walk to the beach, and is well positioned if you're looking at hosting weddings and parties where you can house all your guests in one location.
Another considerable and unique appeal of The Lodge is the 'green factor' where it's visible how the owners Marco and Naly have placed careful consideration on the long term sustainability of the property. I particularly like the eco-friendly features that were thoughtfully planned throughout the premise; including motion sensor lights, power-saving appliances, bio-degradable bags and supplies.
To top it all off, the "Two Sisters on Wheels" food truck on-site run by owner Naly of the same "Two Sisters" chain in Canberra provides tasty and authentic Laos-Thai cuisine and a real convenience for those who want a truly relaxed vacation without the hassle of cooking or driving to restaurants in the vicinity.

I find writing a hotel review to be quite daunting, but let me tell you about this gem.
My wife and I stayed at The Lodge Broulee for 7 nights in a standard family room. The room was large, self-sustained, clean, convenient bathroom, and had a large TV with plenty of channels.
The main reasons I will refer people to this motel:
Room. The Southeast Asia décor and color scheme were inviting and relaxing. The appliances and equipment were of higher quality.
Attractions. They had many ideas of what to see and do while we were there. From a cup of coffee to succulent oysters for dinner, they were well connected into the local scene.
Food. My wife is a selective eater and there were little to no take-out food in the near, but thankfully the motel had a food trailer right outside their property with delightful Thai and Lao food 4 days a week, so we made our own room service multiple times.
Location. Close enough to the NSW South Coast area attractions in between Batemans Bay and Moruya, but also far enough away to not be bothered.
Views. The near look-out views of the ocean were absolutely beautiful and the beach was pleasantly peaceful and sparkling.
The owners Marco and Naly were extremely thoughtful, pleasant, and helpful. It was the most comfortable and accommodating of all the places we stayed in Australia.

1.Basic accommodation which is clean and affordable. Good enough without being exciting. However the highlight is the hospitality of the owners. Absolutely outstanding!
