Such an amazing destination for coffee, chocolates and more! The taste was delicious! Situated in the Adelaide Arcade, with outdoor and indoor sitting available as well as upstairs, where you can enjoy the view. I couldn’t even tell I was in the busy environment cause it felt so calm. Such an amazing customer service, although we waited a while to be served, we really enjoyed. I will visit again and again. The price were reasonable. I bought a takeaway for home too. Thank you again for the amazing customer service!

This place is special. The location is in the heart of the CBD, the corner of the Adelaide arcade. The decor, the atmosphere and the items are nicely crafted. Lovely coffees and of course, chocolates. The chocolates are divine and to die for. The price is higher than other places but it is worth it. If you love chocolate and coffee, here you go! Just a tiny point that they should take care of the chairs and single couches that look torn and dated.

Visited Koko Black to buy a gift chocolate box. It was peak hours, but one of staff, Amanda, kindly explained differences between gift package and recommended chocolates according to my description. She was very professional and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

The second time dining here and both times were great experiences. On this particular occasion, the service was very friendly and there is nothing to fault with the drinks ordered. The only negative was my friend did not receive her cookie she ordered, but this was resolved easily. The store has a lot of space for dining indoors, outdoors and even lots of space upstairs which I prefer since it is a more relaxing setting. Even though chocolates and desserts are their specialty, I like how they have savory menu options too.

I am a regular customer of Koko black and love this place and most of my social & business meetings are placed here. Today I was stopped by the staff member saying that you cannot enter the café after 4 pm Today( Sunday), he was rude and I think that he doesn't like me. I was with the guest to offer him a coffee at wonder place on Rundle mall. I have this humiliating experience after seeing that they served another guest after a few minutes. To management: Please mention the last entry time on the website against every day opening time on google location to avoid any embracement in future. ( as your closing time is 5 pm on Sunday). or Is this a hate reaction towards the particular community by him as I never find any other staff behaving like -all are so good and friendly? I still have 5 star for Koko Black based on my past experience here

Amazing hot chocolates and affogato! I got the nutty deal which came with three delicious creamy nut-based chocolates. I will definitely be back again. There's great secluded seating upstairs.

Went for take away hot chocolate and tasted their milk chocolate covered almonds. Maybe it’s the diet I’m on but hallelujah! I ended up buying three packets of their chocolate. As far as the hot chocolates go, the hubby didn’t think the hazelnut hot chocolate was hazelnut enough and didn’t think he could taste it. I could taste it fine like eating Nutella. My chilli hot chocolate had a perfect burn. My son had straight hot chocolate. He decided it was too much chocolate (if there is a thing). We chose medium take away and small would have been better as by the end of mine I was wishing for milk to dilute it. Overall definitely recommend trying, their dessert looked like heaven.

The coffee is average, and chocolates aren't very unique but very pricey. I come here only for the location. Staff notoriously breaches hygiene regulations, touching everything around (including scratching their faces) and then making food without gloves.

What a different to the other shop at the end of the arcade! Chocolate tastes a lot more like European chocolate which means well worth to pay the extra, where at the other shop, it's not value for money for my understanding I am over 30 years in the Chocolate business therefore I think I know what I am talking about

Up market chocolate, very nicely packaged. Like, 6 chocolates for $20. Good coffee if you just want to sit. I had an iced coffee, $9 but it was good, not huge, but great flavour. My wife had the Australian smoked coffee and it was amazing.

Great chocolate, light food, coffee and deserts. Great location in front of the mall, which is the richest you will find downtown, and great layout with a nice second floor. Staff was also very knowledgeable and classy. Probably one of few places in the city that makes you feel so comfortable.

Good chocolate dessert place, limited tables (at the time we visited the upstairs extra seating was closed) so you need to get lucky or wait for a table to open up. While waiting you can try and buy some chocolate at the counter, but it would be better if they had a number or ticket system for who was next waiting on a table as a couple in front of us jumped the queue!

The staff are the friendliest I've ever met at a coffee shop. They will fulfill your every chocolate-related whim (within reason - no you may not bathe in a tub of hot chocolate on their upper level). The pralines are divine and the hot chocolate is the richest, creamiest, most delicious I've ever had.

You need to offer guests a toilet; not tell them they can go out into the arcade with a key or whatever. I love the products but there is some kind of problem with your staff, I don't think they have been well trained in hospitality, which is a service industry. It's gotten better in the last 12 months but still I find it difficult to catch anyone's eye for service (not that I should have to, it is incumbent on the waiters to be proactive and anticipate my needs).

Friendliest and caring staff ever. She took care of me very well. I ordered the hot chilly hot chocolate, which was sooo creamy and tasty and unique.
