Friendly staff and clean-looking establishment, but their range of ice cream is not as good as it used to be and some flavours have received significant downgrades (e.g. strawberry used to have actual strawberries in it, now its a smooth artificially pink mess). Definitely better places to get ice cream.

I ordered an ice cream cake from this store and it was perfect, super hot Brisbane day too. The online ordering system is so easy and I left specific instructions for items I wanted and didn't want which was just right. Was ready to go on time and exactly what I ordered, the cake probably around 30 serves of ice cream so good value for money also. I would highly recommend a cake from this store anytime and I will definitely order again.

Have ordered two ice cream cakes from this store and they were both perfect. The online ordering system is super easy and the follow up communication from the owner was much appreciated. Thanks for texting pictures of the cake for approval before making to ensure I was 100% happy. I will definitely be ordering again the future and can highly recommend to others if they want the perfect ice cream cake for their special occasion.

Where do I start. I am very, deeply hurt. The staff, oh the staff, so ever rude. I feel as though I could boil many pots of water because I see RED. One very immature, disrespectful and DISGRACEFUL girl, was rude on her mobile phone facetiming somebody, she was taking pictures of ice cream and sending it to people, HOW DARE SHE. That is not even then worst part. WHEN she spoke, OH when she spoke through her big mouth. Words of the devil came out, rude, ill- mannered and discourteous. I have never been so OFFENDED IN MY LIFE. That is all. 🤢🤬😡😠🤡😭☠😾😾😾🐭🐁🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍

Despite it being a cool winter's night, Cold Rock was still a great place to conclude our meal. The view over the illuminated beach pool, to the city with its lights reflecting in the Brisbane River was beautiful and we had no-one else to share it with on the deck outside the store.

I ordered a custom cake to pick up from this place. I called about rescheduling and they followed up perfectly. Everything was perfect. From the ordering process to the pick up. The cake turned out amazing! Made my partner very happy. 10/10 Definitely will order again in the future. Also the person I spoke to over the phone was very well spoken, clear and very polite. He also made sure the details I had were correct. Thank you! ❤️

Service was great... icecream was good. It's the shop itself that makes you think twice however... the torn paper sign asking to keep the door closed... the filthy door from ice cream hands trying to open the heavy door with hands full... the air conditioner that blows warm air due to having never been serviced in years - FULL of dust and grime... when given the icecream under the warm air con... the icecream literally gets destroyed before you can pay for it... then you struggle to not dribble it all over the floor and out the door... Not the best Cold Rock I've seen to be sure... EDIT: I've since been back and the place looks a lot better! The air wall although not in use, it's all cleaned up and the shop looks a lot more welcoming.

good place :) Like any other cold rock. however has a great view and location.....If you are at south bank you have to have an icecream ;)

Love my cold rock. Wish there where more locations tho.

It’s a bit hidden, but we found it eventually. If you have never been to cold rock before, it’s all about choosing various “mix-ins” to be smashed into ice cream of your choice. Choosing a mix in is a pretty personal thing. I quite like cookie dough.

Nicely located ice creamery in South bank. I found the staff friendly and the ice cream delicious. The prices are a bit expensive but that's nothing new for this location.
