Comments of Daintree Ice Cream Company

One of our highlights on our drive from Port Douglas to Cape Trib. Ice cream was nice. Best value is the Signature Cup ice cream which cost $7.50 when we were there. Standard cup only has one flavour and it cost $6. Also enjoyed the walk around the orchard. You can ask for a map of the orchard. We also bought some jack fruit from them as they have an excess of fruit.
F. A.
Delicious ice cream 🍦, best of all is their signature cup. Would be better to have option to pick up exotic fruits. Public toilet available. Nice picnic spot as well.
L. R.
Very very yummy vegan Ice cream options! The best I’ve ever had. Such a great place. Very cool seeing all the fruit too!
M.
Love this place!! It's got the best ice cream I've ever tasted and it's made on site, fresh daily 👌
Super excited to discover that a new coffee machine has just arrived and they can even do a unique wattleseed affagato!
There is an orchard to walk around, where all the fruit grown goes into making the ice cream. Make sure you try the signature cup, it's definitely worth the drive!
J. K.
Really enjoyed our pot of ice cream this afternoon, the coconut ice cream was incredible closely followed by Wattleseed! Priced very generously too, this place is extremely good value!
We had a walk around the orchard which is an absolute must if you visit this place! Not much fruit on the trees at the moment but really interesting to see the plants that grow this magnificent fruit! And there are so many beautiful butterflys!
We will be back again soon to try more!!
J. H.
This is probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had - we had the 4 in 1 scoop - coconut, passion fruit, yellow sapote and wattleseed. The flavours were impeccable it was creamy however the creaminess didn’t linger in your mouth afterwards. In particularly the wattleseed flavour was incredibly rich and addictive.. it was nothing I’ve ever tasted before.
J. W.
Best ice cream I’ve ever had! I love the variety of tropical fruits on offer. I’d really recommend the tasting cups though as you get four flavours and all of them are pretty much guaranteed to be delicious. Mine was coconut, passion fruit, yellow zapote, and wattleseed (my new favourite ice cream flavour). We were also lucky to spot a pademelon that was visiting the place. It’s a super peaceful and relaxing place. Definitely need to stop by when visiting Daintree!
M. M.
Fabulous ice cream experience! They do a four flavor tasting cup which is definitely worth the experience!!!
They also have single flavor cups, including vegan friendly options for those who cannot have diary.
Note they don’t actually scoop ice cream here, so there is not picking a choosing. You get the single flavor cups or sample cups only!
Strong recommend from me!!!
L. M.
Yum yum yum! Well worth the drive. Such interesting and unique flavours.
I got the 'signature selection' which included 4 very great flavours - mango, coconut, wattleseed and black sapote.
We were even lucky enough to spot a cassowary just roaming around as well which was awesome.
Highly recommended stop while up in the Daintree.
J.
We got a bit lost looking for their spot, but it was worth it, the ice cream flavours are unique and refreshing in that 32 degree heat!
M. (.
A must go place in the area. Ice cream was delicious and refreshing.
There is also a walk around the area with different types of plants. It was great to see some of the tropical fruit trees.
I would definitely recommend this place. Ice creams are a great treat in the hot climate of the area.
P. A.
We arrived shortly before close and the area was still alive with people enjoying their experience, we selected chocolate as the go to and the friendly lady who served us asked if I would like to try another flavour instead so we could try two different ones, she recommended the coconut, chocolate chip with chocolate sauce... my goodness I am glad she did! I was worried that it would be too coconutty for my taste which is why I didn't think to order it in the first place but it was perfect! And big statement here... I actually preferred it over the chocolate. Highly recommend!
J. H.
Stopped here for some local ice cream after a hike, and so glad we did. Lovely to taste fresh ice cream and sorbet made with local tropical fruit. Great parking and tables provided so you can enjoy your snack without having to eat in the car!
t. s.
Some people might say it’s over hyped but when you put this in your mouth, the flavors makes you realize everything you heard about these ice-cream and sorbet is true. It’s just really natural and flavorful.
S. J.
Fantastic ice cream, best I’ve ever had. The staff were so lovely, informative and very welcoming. I just wish they sold their ice cream at other retail shops because I’d be buying it every day. This business is a credit to the area. Keep up the great work guys!
R. P.
A must stop if you're driving your way through the Daintree Forest and like ice cream!
They make it with fruits grown on the property and you can really taste the difference.
While eating the 4 flavour cup (signature cup) we also spotted a cassowary eating some seeds and walking around the property, great experience!
M.
Best ice cream I've ever tasted. Not overly sugary, ice cold, very tasty and smooth. Interesting flavours you don't see normally but familiar enough to be enjoyable.
Worth pulling in on your drive around the Daintree, good photo opportunity with the ice cream.
Very welcoming staff, immaculately clean bathrooms the grounds are absolutely beautiful.
S. K.
We really enjoyed the ice creams made out of tropical fruits. Great flavours. It will be great if the seasonal fruits are available to buy.
H. C.
Delicious! The tasting cup is great value. You get four flavours for $7.50 and cards are now accepted as payment. Our cup contained coconut, black sapote, passionfruit and wattleseed. The coconut was amazing. That was my favourite followed by the wattleseed, the passionfruit and the black sapote. We stopped in here as part of our bus tour. The owners must be very familiar with the tour operators dropping people off in big groups because they had their introductory patter down to an art. I like that they have the scoops pre-scooped so you can just grab and go! Brilliant idea as we had to get back into the bus and head off quickly.
M. T.
Hands down the best mango ice cream I have ever tasted. The 4 scoop cup is the way to go so you can try a few different flavours. All really good. The banana cinnamon and caramel sauce one was also amazing. Worth a visit.
A. B.
Very good Ice cream. The place have a variety of trees such as bananas jackfruit cafe pineapple etc…
R. G.
Such a pretty place with locally made ice cream. They also grow fruits and you guys need to try the jackfruit. Great people and great company when you go there
V. J.
Fantastic unique flavours, one of a kind! Definitely visit when in Port Douglas
R. V.
Vegan icecream paradise! I held out little hope of getting anything much better than yet another vegan sorbet. Great flavours and very generous serves at a reasonable price. You're doing a great job! Thank you.
E.
You need stop here to try these delicious tropical flavours! Best ice cream ever. Also take the map provided and check the fruits trees around the place! Enjoy your deliciously exotic fruit ice cream under the very tree where it was grown. And if you’re luck you’ll maybe interact with the wild life around the property such as cute marsupials.
K. C.
the ice cream is simply amazing! we tried the tasting cup with four flavours and they were so refreshing and delicious. definitely worth the drive 🤩
J. H.
Went here twice with friends while in the area. A must do! The soursop sorbet is delicious! Resident paddy melon and a chance to walk around and see the different fruits trees.

Yum! Great value tasting cup. Dairy free family members catered for too. We also enjoyed looking at all the fruit trees.
S. B.
A hidden gem, surrounded by fruit orchids and beautiful native plants.
I would consider myself some what of an ice cream connoisseur and this place really wowed me.
I had the 4 flavour sampler which included mango sorbet, coconut, wattle seed and black sapote.
The real stand outs were the black sapote and wattle seed, they were like nothing in have ever tasted. So creamy, delicate and delicious.
M. C.
It is situated in a lovely setting. Our host was very friendly and explained the different varieties to us. Beautiful ice cream made with delicious fruits. Great for kids of all ages.
D. W.
Fantastic icecream love the four flavours in the one cup. Great spot to relax or go for a walk around the property looking at all the fruit trees.
B. H.
We had some yummy ice cream here, we tried the combos of 4 sorbets and 4 ice creams. Delicious in perfect tropical surroundings!
G. L.
A must-stop when touring around the Daintree region for a delightful, sweet break! Flavours change depending on the fruits in season. I was fortunate enough to try wattle seed and it has become a new favourite of mine! This place has lots of seats and can get busy when everyone converges at the same time. Service is warm and friendly, only cash accepted.
Z. W.
The ultimate ice cream stop when in this part of the world. All the fruit is grown on the property & is lovingly turned into the most delicious ice cream imaginable. Lovely sitting area to take in the surroundings.
J. L.
I still think about this ice cream we got a Coconut Choc Chip and Strawberry Sorbet. The sorbet was so delicious and fresh nothing can beat it! While you eat your ice cream you can take a look at the orchard to see the different trees.
Such a great experience for all!

Would I go back: Yes.
Would I recommend: Yes.

Delicious ice cream!! Excellent value for money with a range of exotic flavours. Highly recommend (opened at 12pm when we visited)

Among many things, Queensland is very famous for its ice creams and Daintree Ice Cream Company is among the famous few.
They do the usual, and then do some of the most unusual from the most natural ingredients.
We especially loved the Wattle Seed and Yellow Sapote.
M. D.
Great to make a break in Daintree and cool down with some local fresh made ice cream. Tasted amazing!
And a nice little walk around to see all the fruit plants with descriptions and pictures. Great idea and good for kids to learn!
A. d. B.
Love love love ❤️
Not your average ice-Cream company! A must go to for those wanting to try somehing new. You can not choose a la carte, you get 4 flavours in a cup for 7,5 AUD. The ice-Cream is creamy and full of flavour. We had the coconut, yellow sapote, soursop and wattleseed and loved it! We tried something new and didn’t regret it. There is an ATM for withdrawals since they don’t have EFTPOS or if you don’t have cash.
The ice cream is served in a carton cup and you can choose for a plastic or metal spoon.
Also you can explore the gardens which shows the fruit that is grown there (and used for ice-cream).
Allow 30 minutes

Great quality ice cream and exotic flavours. $7.5 for 4 scoops of delicious ice cream. Highly recommended if you are in the Daintree area.
Z. R.
Outstanding service with the smile and friendly attitude. The area is well looked after and packed with customers. The ice cream we tried was amazing and probably the best I have ever had.
N. H.
Delicious, fresh ice cream with vegan options. The coconut was my favourite and I am usually not a coconut person - I have been dreaming of it ever since I visited in 2019.
I particularly loved the sustainable approach of using washable metal spoons instead of the plastic disposable ones. Will definitely visit when I am up this way again.
C. S.
Absolutely fantastic, very nice ice cream and good selection
M. H.
The vegan sorbets are absolutely delicious here. You only have an option of the mixed four scoop or a single flavour. The exotic fruits they use in them are fun to try and we were lucky to get all four flavours be yum.
M. B.
Wow. Everyone must try the amazing range of different icecreams amongst the beauty of the rainforest. We loved it and know that all that visits this spectacular place will too!
M. P.
Excellent little place, beautifully flavoured icecream. Especially the jackfruit sorbet was to die for.
A. M.
Refreshing, fresh ice cream flavours. My favourite was the Daintree chai-choc chip!
D. W.
Definitely recommend stopping by. Some of the best gelati we've ever had! Interesting flavours and lovely customer service. Very generous serving size for the price as well. Also happy to see no plastic use!

Definitely a must stop place. The icecreams are delicious and are worth the stop. There is plenty of parking and a nice garden area with tables and chairs for seating. There are some nice fields to go for a little walk around too. The only issue is having to decide which ice-cream to get!
D. W.

Very nice experience. The ice creams were very tasty and the flavors available are quite exotic. I appreciated that they have vegan options :) and the set up of the place is nice too

Had the 4 flavour sample cup and was not disappointed! Texture and consistency were incredible and spot on! I really enjoyed all the flavours. Good value at $7.50 for 4 scoops.

Ice cream is good in flavour and serving size of 4 scoops is generous. It's enjoyable to walk around the fruit trees to see the various exotic fruits and where they come from. Been here a few times over the years with consistent quality ice cream.

I came to this ice cream place while studying abroad back in 2013. To this day, it is my absolute favorite ice cream in the world. The simplicity makes this place a gem. Fast forward 8 years, I still talk about it.
R.
Really unique yummy flavours
G. A.
A must do on your drive past. My daughter really enjoyed it here. Worth the stop just to see the interesting flavours and the trees out the front which are used in the ingredients.
J. S.
Such fresh and tasty gelato made from fruit from their orchard cannot be overlooked. Delicious!
J. P.
The ice cream was scrumptious we enjoyed every mouthful, we would have loved to go back for more.
K. M. (. K.
I really enjoyed the tasting cup I had at the Daintree Icecream Company. This cup comes with four different, pre-determined flavours. Each one of them were distinctly different and were created from the tropical fruits grown in the surrounding plantation. If, like me, you indulge in a bit too much icecream, there is a self-guided walking tour you can do around the plantation to work off any extra calories. It is quite interesting, and it shows off a number of the exotic fruits used in their products.
S. T.
Don't miss this if you visit Cape Trib. We had the sorbet selection and it was exceptional! The passionfruit sorbet is 10/10. Enjoy a stroll through the orchard after with an info sheet about the tropical fruits.
Service is super quick even when busy because the ice cream and sorbets are pre scooped/tubbed and ready to go...
W. P.
This place is awesome. Their ice creams are so yummy and are in uncommon flavours such as Jackfruit, wattleseed, coconut. Also they have a beautiful orchard full of tropical fruit trees such as Jackfruit, Breadfruit, Vanilla, Custard apples, Cocoa, pineapple, passion fruit, Lychee, Star fruit, Yellow Sapote, Bananas, Mulberry bushes, Durian and so on. Lots of coconut trees in the premises. This place is just awesome, so beautiful, clean and greenish. Thanks a lot to the owners for letting your guests to visit the orchard.
S. F.
Delicious!
Only 2 options for ice cream available, a four flavour variety or single flavours prepacked. Taste was excellent with great natural flavours. Friendly staff and good 20 minute walk around the fruit trees.
G. S.
We went three times in the first week these guys opened up again and would have gone more, had we had more time! Absolutely beautiful farm, lovely and warm hospitality and amazing, unique ice cream. The Mango and soursop sorbet were our favorites, but everything we had was awesome. Thanks so much, guys!
Don't miss visiting this place if you're in the Daintree.
B. S.
This was some of the BEST icecream I ever had. And I had lots of it all over the world. You have to stop here. Bring cash - no credit cards!
L. C.
Absolutely love their signature cup! Icecream is very fresh and the flavours are very unique. This is a must go place when you do a day trip at the Daintree!
H. F.
Super yummy ice cream and a great walk around the orchard. Really interesting to try the weird and wonderful fruit ice cream flavours.

Best sorbet ever! The 4 flavour cup is the way to go! Beautiful stop
S. W.
The best experience! we had the chance to sample a few ice cream flavours, including sapote, soursop, wattleseed, jackfruit, mango, coalition and banana - the ice cream was all lovely and the flavours surprising. Staff were friendly and welcoming - definitely a worthy stop en route to Cape Trib
R. A.
It was an amazing experience. Special thanks to Dave (french cut bearded man ,the star and kind hearted staff member) who allowed us to take that one and only off season/time wise unusual fruit (Jack fruit) to take home FREE. Dave, this is for you: it was perfect and we all enjoyed that fruit for your kindness. may God bless you and the company to have such great, dedicated, customer focused and kind hearted staff members. Ice creams were great too. Thanks again. Riad and group (8 of us from late afternoon visit on 3 August, Saturday with Australian/Cairns Adventure Group (Kyle), if you remember)
J. F.
Incredible ice cream. What you would think are strange flavours turn about to be incredible flavours from all types of exotic fruits. All delicious and a must do in the Daintree.
K. S.
We really enjoyed our visit here. The fresh fruit grown on premises, the flavors are delicious. We ate so much ice cream and loved every flavor. I think soursop is my favorite, but it was hard to choose. The staff are very friendly and generous, allowing us to sample a new creation after we had finished our purchased treats.
A.
Good variety if tropical flavoured ice cream done well.
D. T.
Amazing place with excellent personality and a passion for ice-cream. The lady who was working there told us about the ice-cream and how it was made and where everything comes from. You don't have to choose one of their amazing flavors as you get a sample of the 4 they have available that day. They also have a short self-guided tour you can follow around the orchard which is where they source most of their fruit for the ice-cream. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
H. B.
Visited with a day tour and could not fault the ice cream! Delicious and interesting flavours (we had Black Sapote, Passionfruit and Wattleseed) and the cream was fresh. Mandy is a gem. We'll be back on our next visit to FNQ.
V. T.
Took some time for us to get to this place from Port Douglas but the drive and a ferry trip was worth it!
Great friendly service and the ice cream was well made and tasted spot on. Fresh fruit grown on their farm is used to produce in season ice cream flavours and there is 4 different scoops in one cup each visit.
C. D.
A very good ice creamery with new flavours and also old ones, there are options for new flavours that you wouldn't even have it was awesome place with vegan options aswell.
K. D.
Amazing icecream with unique flavours, great serving sizes, super friendly staff, amazing location, what more can you ask for!
R. R.
Loved the ice cream! A shame there was no more mango. Take your time and wander around the garden
L. B.
Awesome flavours and friendly people! Make sure you stop. It's a great price for tropical flavours that rotate often. Take the orchard walk - it's a real eye opener!
I. F.
Awesome just awesome. Went there today - stuff the big brand ice cream shops I had 4 scoops for $6.50....ice cream was to die for. The beautiful lady was kind enough to guide me to the fresh bananas and I must say they were small but gees they were tasty. As she saw me eating banana's she even gave me a banana ice cream - that was awesome too! big fan and highly reccomended
F. M.
We enjoyed every single flavour of ice-cream, especially the wattle seed, so much so that we asked for a punnet to take home with us at a very reasonable price. Excellent service, passionate and energetic staff and a wonderful orchard! Definitely worth a stop during your Daintree trip 🌴🍧
m. s.
Normally I'd get a mocha or chocolate gelato, but try the special, passionfruit, Jack fruit, wattle seeds and coconut. Fantastic flavours.
P. M.
Try the Signature Cup. $7.50 for a good sized cup of four flavours. Today it was Jackfruit, Soursop, Wattle & Coconut. All delicious.
D. E.
Awesome ice cream and very friendly staff. $7.50 and you get to taste four of their flavours in the one cup which is deceptively large. These flavours change on the daily. After your delicious ice cream you might want to take a walk around the farm where they grow all their fruit they use to make their ice cream. It is interesting to see all the exotic fruits like jackfruit and sapote. Would definitely recommend the wallnut. If you're in the Daintree for a day, I would add this to the list - it is an experience to remember.
A. M.
Exquisite ice cream with very unique and interesting flavours! The owner was very friendly and kind. Great pit stop on my way up to the Daintree Forest. The orchards here were beautiful, and I liked the eco friendliness of this place. Would definitely come back next time I head up to Daintree.
H. C.
Luckily we did a good decision to try both ice cream shops in Daintree. We had no cash when we arrived here and it was great that there’s one atm not too far from here. We came back after we got some cash and this ice cream shop is awesome! Super friendly staff and very yummy ice cream. If we visit Daintree again, we will definitely come back here for ice cream again!
R. I.
Wherever i go, i look for best place to have desert/ice cream. I was at Cape Tribulation for three days and made sure i visit this place before i go back to Sydney last Saturday. Their ice cream is uniquely delicious and not to be compared with any ice cream/Gelato. I can say its the best i ever had particularly with a serving that includes Jackfruit flavour. The bonus is its been served to me by a pretty smiling staff.
A. P.
My kids absolutely raved about visiting and how yummy the ice cream was! Well worth a drive out to visit while you’re up north.
B. S.
It was a rainy day today in the amazing Daintree National Park but this lovely ice cream factory made our day. Very friendly staffs offer some very unique ice cream made with exotic ingredients. All organic and their flavours are just delicious.
M. W. (.
Excellent ice cream, nice and creamy with plenty of flavour. Getting the 4 flavours at once is great to try a few different ones. Only negative was perhaps slightly expensive but quality makes up for it’s
L. I.
We enjoyed four flavours in a generous tub, today wattleseed, soursop, coconut and yellow sapote. All delicious and the orchard walk was delightful. A tiny pademelon inhabits the grounds. Great value.
D. S. W.
Yuuummm!!! Natural fruits (mostly grown onsite) turned into delicious gelatos. Fantastic to cool down, and educational also if you do the walk around the fruit orchard. Our favourites today were the black sapote and wattleseed flavours.
R. A.
We came all the way from Scarborough in WA and were not disappointed. Wonderful and interesting ice cream flavors and an informative walk around the orchard. $15 well spent and now back in Palm Cove. Thank you.
Regards Rob Ainsworth from Perth, WA.

We came here four days in a row. I saw a lot of amazing things while exploring the Daintree, but this was one of my unexpected favourites! One day it was raining lightly and we walked around the lush fruit orchard looking at the these beautiful trees full of tropical fruit I had never heard of before. The staff are so friendly, and remembered us the second time we came back. Try the cold drip coffee too if you get a chance. All of the icecream flavours were fantastic, I could not even begin to choose one. A perfect little piece of paradise.
L. U.
Awesome organic ice cream. They change flavours on a regular basis, but all of them are really good.
$4 for one scoop and $6 for four scoop. No cones. Cash only. Sometimes is crowded with excursions.
W. D.
On arrival I was a little confused as you do not get to pick the flavour, you get a selection of 4 to try of locally grown flavours, some are better than others. You can also wander the grounds seeing the plants at which flavours are derived. Cool experience something a little different.
B. G.
Great little place and the lady running it was extremely lovely.
Ice cream was fantastic. I would suggest the espresso caramel and fresh basil!
D. C.
Amazing tropical fruit ice-cream. Definitively have a stop, try those different flavours made from local tropical fruit and seeds. You will feel the taste of a real locally made ice-cream here. Simply delicious!!!
C. R.
The most coconutty coconut icecream ever. They really capture the flavours of exotic tropical fruits. We really enjoyed walking around the orchard learning about fruits we'd never heard of before. Please start exporting black sapote!
D. M.
Loved the flavours, especially the coconut and wattleseed. Good service and lots of space to wander looking at their different fruit trees etc
P. L.
Great stop before catching the ferry home. Would also work starting your trip into the Daintree rainforest. Fantastic refreshing icecream. The four sample is a winner.
A. L.
DAINTREE ICE CREAM CO, - Oh my word – taste bud explosion
Forget the review below this one - I went to the REAL ice cream company.
Daintree Ice Cream Co make all their own ice cream from fruit they grow on their property. For just $7.50 – you get 4 scoops and they change the flavours every day. Today it was mango, coconut, wattle seed (tastes a lot like mocha coffee) and Soursop (tastes like lemonade). In addition, I got to pick an extra scoop because I had a voucher, so I topped that little lot off with passionfruit.
‘Scuse me while I momentarily die and go to heaven! Anyway we needed it after our long walk in and out of the rainforest.
L. H.
Was really looking forward to this place, and it lived up to expectations. Intense flavours, cool unusual fruits (Black Sapote was excellent). Was interesting to see the huge jackfruits in the ripening cages. Was raining heavily, so didn't get to tour the orchard, unfortunately. Popular with my two daughters.
J. O.
Divine icecream is the best way to explain this. Had an absolutely lovely time relaxing and enjoying the scenery. If only it was so far away, I would be here every day! See you next time
S.
This place is fantastic. And the way they have only 4 selections to try for the day was great too because it gets trying new things. This place is a must do.
On a side note we were there on the morning of the 24th Dec and the lady that served us was great. Friendly, funny and great personality. Knows her stuff and is very good at her job.
Great place 👍👍👍👍👍
V.
We tasted passionfruit, wattleseed, coconut and black sapote.
R. M.
Brilliant work team, loved your incredible recycling initiatives. We all learnt lots about tropical fruits and enjoyed ice cream before lunch which our 5 year thought was hilarious. Well worth the stop, great work everyone you should be proud

We have been staying in the Cape Tribulation are for 5 days, and stopped at this icecream factory every day. And every day was met by a surprise of exciting flavours do tantalizing you want more. And the ladies behind the counter knows their product. Across Australia, their icecream is some of the best - well done and bon apetite!
J. F.
Party in my mouth! The flavours of the day were coconut, soursop, passionfruit, and wattleseed. They were all delicious but the wattleseed was the standout with a coffee-like flavour. This was a nice stop on our tour - I appreciated that it was possible due to the serving style (no wasted time deciding) and I wish I could have explored the grounds.
S. R.
Delicious tropical and exotic fruit -yum! friendly staff and beautiful setting -looking up at the tree covered mountains. Daintree Ice cream Co was a great place to wind up the days adventure through the rainforest. We also tried the gelato popsicles - delicious :)
I. D.
Good ol’ fashioned service and one heck of an awesome product! Loved the smoothness and creaminess of the Espresso Coffee and Cardamon ice cream.
R. C.
Very slick trade - and probably the best ice creams I’ve ever had. Beautifully fresh and full of flavour. A must at this end of the world!
S. A.
Best ice cream in the world.

The Daintree Ice Cream Company delivers homemade tropical fruit ice cream, made with fruits from their own orchid. A must stop for all visitors... unless you don't like ice cream, but who doesn't like ice cream? Definitely try the Waffle Seed Ice Cream!
S. H.
6.50 each & it is a bit hard to share
Fruit used varies as to what is available
o from their front yard. Coconut, mango,
soursop & wattleseed where the four we
tasted. The wattleseed was great. We
loved them all.take a walk around the fruit
trees. Nice
M. H.
Four small scopes of the day's exotic ice cream flavours in a cup $7.50. Also juices and ice lollies available. Nice to wonder around the orchards too. Take cash.
S. P.
Definitely worth a stop and is the better ice cream place out of the two on offer. You can also take a stroll around their grounds to see the different types of fruit trees they are growing.
C. P.
Loved walking around the orchards after eating the Delicious Ice Cream/Gelato. Interesting flavors in their daily pick & so yummy! Highy recommend while your in Daintree
T. C.
We bought the mixed tub, 4 flavours, never had such good flavoured icecream.
L. W.
Stopped off here from Cape Trib, plesant place to pass half an hour. Ice cream are of a good quality although there are som wackey flavours. The fruits are all sourced from their own orchard, so tastes vary dependant on the season and amount of available fruit.
B. H.
On your way to or from Cape Trib, be sure to make a stop here. Lots of strange ice cream variants, but REALLY tasty.
Can be a very quick stop, or take a free tour of the orchard. The ice is made from the fruit growing here.

Highly recommend 😋
S. S.
Wonderful place. Amazing ice-cream. Loved the soursop and had a beautiful walk through the orchards afterward
S. M.
Delicious ice cream with interesting flavours. Loved the soursop! Well worth a visit
M. C.
The best sorbet icecream ever! The tropical fruit flavours are tasty and fresh. Definitely worth a stop. Lovely gardens to relax in while enjoying your icecream.
C. S.
Enjoyed the ice cream, my young daughter less so. My son had sorbet and said that it was the best he had ever had. Needs more shaded seating.
V. D.
What a great place with amazing ice cream with amazing flavours, made on the premises which I take my hat off to him for making it from scratch.
This is a must to try !!!!
G. B.
A must visit! Delicious flavours and you get to walk around to see all the different plants and trees they use for their ice creams.
A. J.
Friendly staff, great flavours of good quality ice-cream
C. P.
Not my favourite spot to stop on a trip to the Daintree. You can't choose the flavours you would like - they come pre-pared with todays flavours and if you don't want one of them - tough luck. I much prefer going to Floravilla where there are many more home made options and I can choose the one I want.
G. C.
great ice cream and a great place to stop in at on a dsy trip from Port Douglas to Cape Tribulation and back.
M.
Very much worth a visit. The ice cream is tasty and made out of exotic seasonal fruits from the farm. The orchard is interesting aswell.

Not what I was expecting at all. You do not get to choose your flavour as you might imagine, but what you get is exotic and very good! The orchard and surrounds are beautiful. A must!
N. O.
A really cool place to go to. The icecream is delicious and even the more exotic taste good. A must see if heading to the Daintree
M. N.
The place and the surroundings are very nice.
I am not an ice-cream lover, I think it costs around 6 AUS.
Was there as part of the Cape Trib Connections - Day Tour on the 2nd of June .
W. M.
Wonderful ice cream flavours with a new selection every day. Friendly staff and delicious and unique tastes!
R. M.
A cold tasty and refreshing treat in the hot hot jungle. The wattle seed was amazing!!
D. W.
Yes, indeed. Ice cream cannot be that good you say (and I thought!). Well, it can. Had two, want more. Not over sweet, perfect flavours straight from the orchards, yuuuuuuum.
N. R.
Pre scooped bowls to purchase. No choices available.
I saw somebody elses review post 2 different bowls (varieties)... howd that happen? No flavor choices when I went.
L. G.
Great ice cream and great staff. Love their awesome tropical fruit garden.
C. W.
One of the most exotic and delicious gelato I ever had. Go for the tub with four flavors. All amazing.
B. C.
If you're looking for some unusual tropical flavored ice creams, this is the spot! I went here on a guided tour and cannot wait to come back.
S. T. B.
Daintree flavour is really unique with a suble blend of refreshing lemon myrtle, nutty of coconut and vanilla. A sweet treat for a hot day walk in the rainforest (Dec 16).
M. H.
OMG, the best icecream I have eaten. A must to put on your list when visiting the Daintree.
一. F.
The ice cream is really good. But don’t buy their tea, double priced. I found exact same tea in Coles for half price the same day
J. M.

(Translated) I stopped by the tour.
It tastes organic and tastes the healthiest ice cream ever eaten. I think the taste is different.
Be careful as you can only pay cash.
There is an ATM, and cash can be procured locally, but it is safer to prepare in advance.

(Translated) Heading towards Cape Tribulation you come across this truly unexpected and surprising ice cream shop. Only 4 flavors, created according to the fruit available, but of a truly excellent quality. You will hardly ever get the chance to taste an ice cream like this somewhere else in the world!

Dirigendosi verso Cape Tribulation si incontra questa gelateria davvero inaspettata e sorprendente. Solo 4 gusti, creati in funzione della frutta a disposizione, ma di una qualità davvero eccelsa. (Translated) I was positively surprised by the homemade ice cream. If you drive over there anyway and feel like having an ice cream, then go there. A cup of ice cream with 4 scoops of different ice creams cost AUD 6 (as of June 2016). Can highly recommend, as they also plant the fruits for the ice itself locally.
