Great ice creamery under new ownership with interesting ice cream and sorbet flavours. We loved the local Davidson Plum and Lilly Pilly that’s made with their own fruit trees! They have some nice picnic tables under the trees to sit among the birds.

They also sell local product produced in the area such as Dried mangoes, coffee, honey, chutneys, macadamia peanut brittle. Where do I start...... Been past this place so many times over the years, but never stopped. Was pleasantly surprised at - the ambience - the service - the product range - indoor/outdoor seating AND - the coffee and ice cream. Well worth a stop.... highly recommend the place!!

Stopped here for icecream and had a lovely experience. Lady who served us was friendly and very helpful. Lots of local icecream and sorbet flavours including elderberry, guava, dragon fruit and mango. We had single scoops in cups which were $4 each. Also sell some South African foods such as koeksisters, biltong, droewors , boerewors and stokkies. Also sold local coffee, coffee beans, a range of fudge, sweets, souvenirs and pottery. You can dine in with indoor and outdoor seating available. Sign in via app. Great place to visit and we would definitely go back!

Sharon displayed an incredible knowledge and passion for her part of the journey at this special place. The ice cream was very creamy and added well to the cake offer. The coffee was special as tasted by the gorgeous girl who enjoyed an extra shot regular flat white hot coffee. Her choice of the Devonshire coffee rewarded by great tasting and moist scones. Not to mention beautiful jam. If you enjoy your coffee this place is a must stop. Enjoy!

A very welcome stop along the way back to Cairns! Make sure you drop in as they make all their ice-cream and sorbet (plus vegan options!) on-site; really nice ice cream! On a tropical rainy day in Cairns we decided to take a drive around the Atherton tablelands. On the way we saw the sign for the ice creamery. The lady who served us was delightful and is obviously passionate about her products. She explained how all the products were made with local fruits, a lot from her family garden. Ice cream and sorbets were divine. If you're in the area you simply must visit - you won't be disappointed.

Visited on 20 March 2021 - very friendly family who own and manage the business. They make their own ice creams and sorbets, wide variety of flavors. Ice cream and waffles were delectable and they sell boerewors, koeksisters, biltong and Ouma rusks for any visiting South Africans. Go on spoil yourself and pay them a visit.

My mum, grand-nephew and I went to Cairns to shop, also picked up another grand-nephew in who lives in Cairns. He loved it as we rearly get to see him. On our way home mum, my grand-nephew and I called onto the ice-creamery to get out of the buildup of traffic at Emerald Creek. I must admit I was a bit nervous getting out of there with the traffic lights being at both ends. All in all it was a pleasureable day ending off with a delicious icecream; chocolate.

Absolutely delicious ice cream, the best by far in north Queensland. Service is always impeccable. Such a wide variety of flavours. I always stop in if I'm going to Kuranda or Mareeba or on my way back from the Crater Lakes or Davies Creek.

Have stopped in a here a few times while passing through. Tasty ice-cream, coffee and other treats. Nice grassed area to sit by under the verandah and the kids can go for a run to stretch their legs. Only negative is that dogs must remain on the car park side of the building, but I respect that this is the owner's wish.

We are regular visitors. Although on the highway, it is set back from the road and the traffic noise less intrusive. The atmosphere today was mainly air with just a hint of golfer. I find the staff listen and are helpful. The caramel fudge is always wonderful. Today, I tried the Cinnaman ice-cream and now we have another reason to stop in.

Really friendly staff, great fresh made ice cream you can get in a tub with a reasonably large selection of flavours to choose from. But who goes past Vanilla bean anyways? Plenty of parking just off the main road. Some assorted other local produce available also such as jerky, honey and jams. Will definitely grab some more next time I'm on my way too or from Emerald Creek Falls on a hot sweaty day! Yummy!!!

Beautiful handmade ice cream on lovely grounds with the option of eating inside with the aircon or outside enjoying the beautifully maintained lawns and garden complete with birdlife. A family owned and operated business that takes obvious pride in everything it does. Spotlessly clean facilities with a variety of other handmade products including biltong and fugde. There's also a small retail area offerings local sourced goods including honey, soaps, children's books and much more. A genuinely pleasant way to spend about 45 min just relaxing as a pit stop.
