Love this place. I have never ordered dessert at a Darwin restaurant, always opting to swing by Johnn Johnns instead. So many flavours to choose from however somehow I often end up with Black Magic and one other in a 2 scoop cup. Perfect for me 💓.

Love the Asian flavours - taro and coconut, green tea etc. The gelato here is really delicious. But they ran out of some flavours early after opening. Bad bad bad. There is milk crate seating inside. Hard to find first time as no overhead signage. See pics.

Excellent ice creams. We tried vegemite and ordered durian, vanilla and chocolate milk. All were greatly enjoyed. Coffee here is possibly the least expensive in darwin. Recommended.

It's good but I'm from Melbourne so I've got like 6 choices of ice cream shops right in my local street including "Messina" - so my taste buds have been spoiled and are very finnicky when it comes to ice creams & Gelato. I just didn't feel I got my money's worth for the volume either here.

After a long road trip from Adelaide South Australia we were craving ice cream and this place had so many delicious flavours to choose from! The passion fruit and strawberry were really good. But my favourites were coffee crunch and peanut butter soy. Friendly staff. Nice layout. Great location.

De..... li...ciioouusss!!!! Walking distance in CBD, popular, friendly service. The orange fig macadamia was my favorite. I did taste the toasted coconut and the pandan coconut.

As a fan of green tea, I would say this place have the best matcha gelato in the whole NT. P/s: if you don't like bitter, I won't recommend this flavour. Edited: After they changed location, the matcha flavour that I once crazily crave for didn't meet my expectation. It's just too sweet, I can't taste the tea anymore

There are not enough stars to give Johnn Johnn's! Unfortunately we discovered it a few days after our arrival in Darwin & could only fit in 3 visits. The atmoshere is relaxed, the staff friendly & the range of delicious gelati extensive. The fig, orange & macadamia flavour is divine. Louise, Ballarat.

Friendly staff and absolutely delicious ice cream. The boysenberry is the bees knees! The only minor gripe is that the napkins could use changing - they get stuck to the cone when the ice cream drips on them. Will happily return to try a new flavour next time!

Nice Ice cream, I love pear and almond one but this time couldnt find it. So got salty pistacio love it. I got 1 scobe for 5$ on wafle one was huge enough for me. 😋.

I have tried both the peanut butter and the fig, macadamia and orange flavour and both were some of the best gelato I have ever had. The prices were moderate but excellent value for the quality of the food. I would highly recommend to anyone in the darwin city centre.

Friendly, patient service (I took my elderly foodie aunt) and value for money generous servings. Smooth gelato and interesting flavours like pear & almond or as suggested by the staff, the forbidden yet fragrant durian! They now have overhead signage :)
