Fish and chips were freshly cooked, really tasty and very filling. Would go back here again for the food, and the ice-cream looked delicious, but... if the website says the Fisherman's Basket is $28.90, why are they charging $35 (that's a significant price hike by any standard) and if the website says they are open until 7pm, why are they desperate to shut the doors at 6.30pm, even though people are still arriving to place orders? Also, a bit of flexibility in the menu wouldn't hurt. If you have sweet potato fries on the menu, and I'm willing to pay extra to swap fries for sweet potato fries, it would be a good customer experience to allow that. Shame that these small things impacted what could have been a great experience.

THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS I HAVE EVER HAD! This place is producing world class food from a small country town with the friendliest of staff! If you are in Freciynet National Park then this is a must stop for fish and chips followed by amazing icecream!

A great way to celebrate the completion of a hike in Freycinet National Park, is with some local seafood in a fisherman's basket, washed down with a cold drink and topped off with a delicious ice cream. All with amazing views of The Hazards.

Awesome spot for fish n chips lunch. The swordfish was delicious and comes with lemon and your choice of either tartare or aioli. The staff are very friendly and the view is just stunning. The only thing that tops the whole experience is walking back in after lunch and picking something delicious from their extensive ice cream range. Drop in here ... you won't be disappointed!

Delicious fish and chips and even better ice cream!! The staff are extremely friendly (in particular the blonde lady) who was new but we extremely welcoming and made the whole experience that bit better! Will be returning soon for some more squid and chips!!!!!

Absolutely beautiful ice cream, although a couple of more options for dairy / lactose intolerance would be good. The store is located in a great place with an amazing view, although the street and surrounds can get crazy busy in Oak times. Overall, you could sit there and eat ice cream all day!

Had an Ice cream earlier in the day which was good. Came back to get dinner at 6:00pm and was told they were closed even though online it says open until 7:00pm. Not a huge deal I suppose but obviously online needs updating.

Love their ice cream! They had a wonderful range of selection. They also do fish and chips. We only got the chips which was well seasoned and had excellent crunch.

The venue itself is fantastic and the ice cream is just fine but the range of flavours is pretty bland - when the most exotic to choose from is coolies and cream you’re hardly living on the wild side! Everything was nice and clean though. My only other gripe was that it does fish and chips too!?! Why? Are you an ice cream shop of a fish and chip shop? And when there are lots of other fish and chip shops around anyway.

Fantastic coffee. Fantastic friendly service. Beautiful shop. I'll be happy to go for my 20 min walk for my coffee on a daily basis when we are camping. Not a bad place to be at all 😁😁 And the view...well....its ok I guess 😏🥰😂

We had flathead and chips, calamari and ice cream. The place was pumping, obviously the word is out, this is a great cafe. Good size fish, very fresh. Ice creams were great. Good friendly staff. Ticks all the boxes.

The fish and chips were fantastic! The batter on the fish was crispy and the fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Coffee was great, and ice cream was a sweet delight after a hike in the Freycinet National Park.

Average ice cream, there’s a good amount of flavour to choose from but I found they need to be stronger, otherwise it’s just a sugary cream. 9,90 - 3 flavours 7,90 - 2 flavours There’s also fish and chips.

Great selection of ice cream available. Their pistachio flavour is delicious, definitely worth coming here after the hike at Freycinet park or for dessert!

Don't bother with the sweet potato fries. Too expensive for the price ($8.90) and they keep the good seasoning for the 'thick cut' chips ($6.90) which are much better. Still don't expect thick chips, they are roughly twice as thick as French fries. Their sorbets are really gooy and delicious. Staff are lovely, spreading their good vibes into your food. Smart traveler would stock up for the day to avoid the 'convenience' surcharge. Happy eating guys.

Unique lavender ice cream but personally, I don’t enjoy this flavour. Tried several other flavours and those are nice. The serve is handful. Will definitely come back to try more flavour. Staff are superb and friendly.

Only 5 stars because I can't give more. I am not really into seafood but THIS was just SO GOOD! I wanted to go back again the following two days of my stay in Coles Bay but they do not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. My partner and I were actually sad and talked about the food for a few days. We will go back there for sure, it is worth going even if you have to make a detour for it!

Great place to get some food in between. Fish and chips are fresh, coffee is good. The ice cream is still the tastiest. I took lavender and macadamia. Flavors that you don't have in the Netherlands. Very tasty. Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace outside. 1 big party👍😎
