I love love love the mango flavour. I could taste the Asian mango sweetness. Pandan is my second favourite. Better go for cup/cone instead of the bread

We went around 6 pm on a Sunday with about a 10-minute wait in line. There are some pretty cool filipino flavours on the menu. We really wanted to try the Keso and Leche Flan, but these flavours were sold out. Best get in early.
We settled for Buko and Ube flavours and also Taho. Both flavours of the gelato were surprisingly good, but with small pieces of pandan jelly and pinipig in every bite, made the Buko a winner for me.
The Taho wasn't your traditional Taho you would normally get in the Philippines. It could use with a little more tofu and less ice cream (that's just what I'm used to). But with Kariton's take on the Taho, it's something unique and worth a try.
Looking forward to going back again.

My friend Sarah recommended this place and I was intrigued by the weird flavour combos. It's a Filipino gelato shop!
They had a cheddar bourbon gelato, so I had to try that. And grabbed the ube (taro) to be safe.

Surprised the hell out of me. Actually really good. And I got the taro at the bottom to be safe, but I should have finished with the cheddar one. 🤔
Should totally check it out.

Had the kalamansi gin, ube/taro, and my partner had Pandan. Pandan was my favourite as I have not come across this flavour done so well elsewhere.
Very nice texture, friendly staff, lines can be long and sold out quickly or maybe that was just a hot day.

Delicious, smooth and creamy. Karitone really is the Asian version of Messina. Mango float and Milo dinosaur was quite good. Proot shake is interesting but gets drowned out by the other flavours. It gets busy and some flavours sell out by 5pm, get there early!

Came to Footscray exclusively for this Filipino dessert store which I've been eyeing during lockdown. I didn't have a chance to try it delivered during lockdown but the store did not disappoint! I got the Ube Halaya and Proot Shake in a cone. The already-soft gelatomelted very quickly in 30+ degree weather so I had to chomp it down fast. The ube flavour was nice but I didn't get much toppings since mine wasn't scooped from the top. It looks better on display but it would taste better mixed in for scoops. The tiny bits of ube jam which I did get were delicious with a more intense ube-ness. Nevertheless, it was a unique flavour hard to find in Melbourne. I got the Proot Shake on a whim thinking the coconut sorbet would be a good accompaniment but I needed up liking it more. It was super refreshing with the lychee and longan toppings better mixed.

MUST TRY GEM in the west!
Congratulations on the opening!
About time Philo food made its mark! I had the Ube, pav & mango - don’t skip UBE and it’s super delicious in a milk bun sandwich.
Thank you to the kind gentleman patiently serving us and kindly explaining the flavours, amazing service along with delicious sorbets! Not too sweet too, which is perfect

Love this new place, so great to have a spot for ice cream in the west with such interesting flavors. The kalamansi sorbet was tangy and fragrant, and the coconut was wonderful. A short line, but totally worth the wait. Welcome to Footscray, we're happy you're here!

Flavours are good. Would have preferred the gelato to be a bit more frozen and not as soft, melted very quickly.

Filo sorbets. Love the twists on all their flavours! Funky shop design. Love the aesthetics end to end. Great addition to Footscray.
