Great experience coming here on a Wednesday night. The staff were all super patient and friendly, particularly the guy wearing the black shirt with the little gelatos. They had an amazing range of flavours and were really generous (maybe too generous HAHAHAH) with their scoops! Only issue is that there isn’t really much seating, but that’s probably just a consequence of covid 🤷‍♀️

A destination any ice cream lover would want to be at. Deciding on which flavours you want in your cone or cup can be challenging, tasting sticks available on request. Well priced, friendly service team and amazing ice cream!

The gelato is made with full cream. You can ask for sample of the flavors. I choose coffee and salted carmel with white chocolate. There is bench seating inside and a few tables outside. There are also take away boxes. The one box I saw held 5 different flavors. They have basic flavors and they have special flavors that are changed monthly.

I used to go to Messina in the CITY, and we used to eat more than one every visit. Messina Tramsheds has an Amazing location, they do have the same menu of Messina home-made ice-cream,BUT with huge pieces inside each type ,which worsen the taste. Chocolate pieces in milk chocolate peanutbutter are really big , weird flavour, cone-conception( my favourite) has very large pieces of caramel ,leads me to through it away as I got disgusted. Please ,try to copy the city branch to keep the same quality level.

Long queues on weekends so try and beat the crowds on a weekday. Queue does move fast & staff is attentive & the gelato is worth it. The location is excellent, it's a nice treat during a walk or bike ride to the park. So close to the light rail. lots of benches out the front of the store or take your gelato to the park. Huge fan

I can't fault Messina, been a fan since 2010 at the Darlinghurst store. Their quality is second to none. Great and creative range of flavours. Had their gelato on my wedding day. Staff are always kind and patient. Amazing service during lockdown. Tramsheds is such a pretty store. Have to get in quick if you like a special because they sell out. Always recommending them to friends.

YUM!!!!! It was sooooo good. Although there was a line, good and fast service meant we only had to wait a few minutes, but it was worth it. In my ice-cream the man serving the customers found a hair, a removed, it, he ended up getting a new batch, because of this, the ice-cream was soft, so he ended up putting it in a cup just so it wouldn't fall off. Thanks a lot. Would recommend with friends, or just for a evening stroll.

Gelato Messina is one of the best and most innovative gelato makers in Sydney and even all Australia, no questions about that but I particularly love this location just at the entrance to Tramsheds; large open store with some outdoor seating to allow a more relaxing licking compared to other stores where you mainly need to take away

I love this place and its the perfect treat after a meal so satisfying but what i don’t understand is the ordering process is so complicated and unnecessary. There are two doors to this place yet they make everyone line up out the door while once finished people have to carry ice cream back through that same door, if its for covid reasons make a way in and a way out it frustrating when logic gets thrown out the window.

Great ice creams with extremely interesting flavours. The specials board changes quite frequently which is a good way to try new flavours. Service at the tramsheds Messina is a little lacklustre at time, especially when it gets busy. There are quite a few benches and chairs to enjoy the ice cream, and a cold water tap you can use to have a drink or fill your bottle.

Best ice cream in Sydney!! I have been several times to Messina. Even though sometimes there is a queue, it's usually very quick. There are plenty of flavours of ice cream and gelato to choose from. My favourites are dulce de leche, pistachio praline and bacio. It's worth the calories!!

The shop is located in beautiful area with very nice view. Staff members are really friendly and nice. I have visited many Messina shops in Sydney, but this one is the best of all for sure. The gelato has more topping than other Messina stores and just in general I feel like this Messina’s gelato tastes the best. I would 100% recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a good gelato in cozy place! Just visited the shop last week once again and it never disappoints me. The gelato tasted excellent as always in this shop.

The staff members here are really friendly and wonderful. We come here often to the point that some of the staff already know us by face. This place is usually quiet on weeknights and is probably the best time to go. Weekends can get very busy and parking can be quite hard to find. Nonetheless, it hasn't stopped us from coming here.

Gelato was great but the staff members were completely unaware of who was first, never enforced to create a line... Lots of people started pushing in without the staff members bothering to confirm who was first. An argument broke out between the customers in front of me that had been waiting a long time when the staff member proceeded to serve a group of people that just walked in. You should really enforce some rules/create a line because 1. It sucks to be pushed in front of 2. It sucks to see other people get pushed in front of (and the lines are not short) and 3. The staff members obviously can't or don't care to serve people in the correct order.

Yes, there is an atm inside the Tramsheds but seriously, what a pain in the rear to have to deal with all that. Bring cash or be on the receiving end of "I've got an ice cream, you don't have one".
