This new dessert establishment is offering Asian desserts and sweet drinks that are as colourful as its decor. I was really impressed by the flavours of the Thai milk tea bingsu, featuring a mountain of smooth shaved ice, accompanied by chewy black bubbles, coconut jelly and an intense milk tea syrup. While my food experience here was great, I was surprised when I was told by the lady at the cashier that we did not order enough, so I reluctantly added even more sugar to our group's order.

I give this place 4 stars. The place is amazing! While waiting for your order to be delivered, soak in the beautiful atmosphere. The staff are polite and service is great. Perfect on a hot day, come and enjoy their shave ice and refreshing drinks.

Late night spot for quality Thai dessert and bingsu. We came into the city for late dessert after dinner and found this place in the thaitown precinct to be super busy. Pleased to say the wait in line to get a table is totally worth it for the dessert on offer! Most of the friends in my group have never had Thai bingsu and they were totally blown away by this new experience. Will be back to try more of the flavors on offer.

Unfortunately, my friends and I sat outside but it’s okay we loved each bingsu that we’ve ordered to make up for it ☺️ Presentation was lovely and the portion was perfect. Thank you to the girl who placed the speaker outside for us to enjoy, really means a lot !

Interesting desert. We had 3 types of desert. They were are yum. The decor is quirky. $18 for a big desert bowl. Might be quite pricey.

Nice atmosphere and absolutely beautiful desserts we had but no.. not like thai desserts as people say, it's kinda fusion. No offense, pretty and instragramable desserts. All you have to do is pick your favourite and go to order at the counter. 1.5% card surcharge. Siam delight was quite too sweet and doesn't need to come with side maple syrup? The rest we loved it. Toast is tasty.

quick service to get a table, not so quick when getting food. got the milo volcano, it was sensational. however the very inside had no flavour (can't fault them for that though, i understand how these type of things are made) and the ice on its own tasted icky, like swamp water? love the vibe of the place tho id definitely come back, the other desserts all look so yummy

Great dessert options for those with a sweet tooth. Big portions sizes makes the desserts good for sharing. However, they have a minimum $8 spend per person. Otherwise a nice place to hang out with friends.

The best day to spend hot summer afternoon to get shaved ice from this shop. I ordered Siam Delight, I was so happy, to have jackfruits and some grass jelly, and red beans in the mixture. Have a honey and coconut milk shot on the side but I don’t think the ice shaved it self it’s ready sweet, no need to get extra honey. Mango bingsu was nice too…😊

Old Schoool Kafey has a great selection of aesthetic bingsu and sweet bread loaf desserts, along with a colourful drinks menu. After ordering at the counter, the staff brought out small side plates, reiterating that their dishes are made for sharing! We ordered a matcha bingsu. The bingsu texture was more dense than the regular shaved ice we’re accustomed to, meaning it didn’t melt as quickly. The desserts were decently sized and definitely had wow factor! Overall, we enjoyed dining at Old School Kafey and we’d love to visit again. We’d recommend visiting Old School Kafey for a fun dessert experience!

Pretty much delivers on its promises of a fun icy dessert bingsu. Very busy and for good reason. Large tasty shaved ice were tasty and everyone in there seemed to be having a good time. Great on warmer days and each bingsu easily feeds 2 people so under $10/head

Aesthetic interior design, was pretty quiet with only two other groups of people and we came as a group of 6 and ordered a bingsu but he (seemed like the manager) suddenly said there was a minimum order per person. It was quiet so that was pretty unreasonable. So we over-ordered, two bingsus and a drink. Very slow service, took 20mins+. Bingsus were not bad, the watermelon bingsu is just milk ice with circular shaped watermelon so the actual bingsu is not watermelon flavoured. The thai milk tea bingsu was not bad. The lychee blue drink was unique but too sweet to finish.

It was last night ,We werent served any water which i understand they probably forgot . But when i approach one girl staff and ask if i can have some water she just very unhappily look at me and gaveme a jug of water , then i asked for the cups she look very upset and said to me “how many?!!” With a very upset and unhappy gesture. All i want to say, if you re not ready for service or having problems with serving customers, please take a rest. Because your behaviour is going to affect on your customers mood and experience. The food is nice, expensive, but nice, the place is nice too. I gave it 3 stars because the service was slow, very very slow. Expect to wait minimum 20 minute for your order, it took 30min for ours. I hope they improve the speed of their service.
