Great little pizza shop, I now understand what the hype is about! The pizzas are traditional Italian, however the base doesn't seem to be woodfired which would be my only thing that let it down. I could be wrong though and maybe it was just my pizza that seemed that way

Long time customer but recently very disappointed to discover ham on my pizza was distinctly of an inferior quality to what has always been previously used as topping. A simple yet quaint, family owned pizzeria in Chermside which serves up the best and possibly cheapest authentic Italian dishes. The pizza is superb - thin crust with the freshest ingredients. It's almost unbelievable how affordable the dishes are, and one almost wonders how they stay in business. You'd think it's under-priced because it's not that good but it's the total opposite. Located across the street from Kedron-Wavell Services Club, there are 5 simple tables with plastic chairs and as you munch on the yummy goodness, you can see/hear Claudia giving Italian lessons. It really is a special place! And when there, ask them to make you a canelloni. It's about 2 bucks and a really nice treat after you've had your fill of pizza! It's soooo delicious and simple. A definite must for aby pizza lovers in the area!

Ordered takeaway at De Pascale for the first time tonight and it's definitely our new go-to Italian place now! The topping and base ratio for the pizzas are perfecto and the tiramisu is to die for!! Thanks to traffic and baby-pickup duties, we were late for our order pick up, but De Pascale went the extra mile, took great care of our food, and gave it extra wrap-ups to keep them warm (esp in this cold weather). Oh and did I mention that their price-tags are super reasonable and my tiramisu was packed to the brim. Will definitely be back!!

I'd like to start this review by stating that i rarely eat takeout food. It's always something that I've subconsciously avoided due to the unhealthy attitudes towards it. De Pascale's Pizza does not qualify as an unhealthy pizzeria. They use fresh ingredients such as fresh basil that really strike a chord with me. It takes me back into my days of highs school, my first love, Angela. She was an Italian exchange student. We used to pick fresh basil leaves from our garden and make fresh pizza for weekends, all until we were adults and got married at our favorite basil orchard. My daughter loved them too. Unfortunately as people age, they get sick over time. My darkest day was when my wife passed, bills started to pile up, my daughter hates me more than i hate my own life. This pizza momentary takes me back to when i was in high school. It makes me forget the pain of losing her. Best pizza in Brisbane

GF base this week was definately not the same base as last weeks pizza base.The topping was the same delicious (this was the 1 and only GF pizza) that I wanted to try again I was so dissapointed.Please get rid of the flat dry base you had on Thursday pm this week.

The pizzas were as good as what we had in Rome. Take away only. When I went to pick up the pizzas I had to get a cannoli and a Nutella cheese cake looking dessert! Everything was very delicious and cost only 26 -two pizzas and two desserts. We will keep coming back.

The flavour was really good and the customer service was on point. But the toppings on my pizza kept slipping off 😂😂 Unfortunately this made eating the pizza a bit challenging. However despite this I will be back again, the flavours are great and the prices are reasonable.

It is the real deal. The owner relays your order to you in his thick Italian accent. The pizza is superbly generous in quality toppings for the price. As an example, I usually opt out of mushrooms on a pizza but the mushrooms here are sauteed before being used as a topping. I'm a super fan now. He uses ingredients that you will not find on a pizza outside of Italy, but now you do. The dessert is cheap and some are made fresh for you. Step aside Domino's.

Really great pizza. Tables outside, even with the gas heater, mean it's more of a takeaway than a restaurant in the cooler months. Seriously BYO (even glasses) which was great for my 2008 Barolo. Recommended.

How did I not know about this place before?!? It's so local, I could probably walk there! Anyhow, I tried De Pascale's last Wednesday (10 April 2019) and was impressed. Not really designed for eat-in, but they do have a few tables outside if you don't want take-away. Regular size pizza, with a couple of added toppings, a serve of Lasagne and a serve of Spaghetti Carbonara... all for $28! Bargain! Initially, I was a bit skeptical when I saw that the pastas were prepacked in plastic boxes, ready to be microwaved, but they were fine. The carbonara was ok, nothing special, but the lasagne was really good, and a generous serve. Then they brought out the pizza. Wow. Not the standard pizza chain thick doughy base! This was thin and crisp. Good toppings (we had a meat lovers with added pineapple and onion). But the sauce was the star... superbly tasty. So, a 5-star pizza, a 4.5 star lasagne and a 3.5 star carbonara = a solid 4 star average. At $28, it's 5 star value!

Actually Italian and the only pizza I have eaten in Brisbane since I found this restaurant. Everything on the menu is high quality and so much cheaper than many other Italian restaurants, possibly because of the small venue. More of a take-away restaurant than a sit-down-for-a-meal-out place. But it's easy to pack a luxurious meal, including dessert, and drive home for a bargain, quality feast.
