Good for unplanned dinner. They service a bit slow we had to wait for a long time for our order and it was cold. They served local wine and variety of pizza.

We have found this place to be a new favourite- we have dined in a few times and loved the atmosphere, food, wine and service. During lockdown we have been getting takeaway pizzas- it is honestly the best pizza we have ever had! They are always consistent, cooked to perfection on a perfect base and the flavours are on point! They are very helpful in catering to dietary/allergy requirements. Thank you!

Hands down the best pizza in Canberra. Everything is SO fresh and that has to be the yummiest dough I have ever tasted. Even the desserts are delicious. Great value, lovely service. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic pizzas. They also do gluten free bases. The staff are friendly and have always enjoyed eating in or taking away. Always good to book ahead if you are wanting to eat in. The number 6 is my go to.

Relaxed atmosphere that is not too crowded and yet never too empty. Don't forget to order the sangria which may or may not be on the menu. Great pizzas

Tasty wood fired pizza, a real family Italia feel, and a varied cellar. A very good place to have a friendly and authentic meal with friends and family. The location is beautiful in the shade of huge plane trees. The oven is also large and well tended by happy and welcoming staff. Really one of Canberra's best places to dine.

Response to Ayeesha Khan My daughter and I were walking past when we witnessed the incident mentioned above by Ayeesha and I can assure any readers it was NOT from the staff at Bentham st Bar and Pizza. The way the customer spoke the waitress was absolutely disgusting. The waitress was polite, professional and calmly outlined the current COVID 19 measures which are in place to protect everyone. For whatever reason the customer decided they didn't want to adhere to the measures and both the customer and her husband launched into an argument with the waitress. I read the reference to racism and that is sickening - there was nothing untoward said to the customer and they are clearly attempting to fling as much mud as possible. Their behaviour was inexcusable and i sincerely hope with some reflection they are able to change their behavioural patterns, if not for yourselves but for your child who witnessed the unnecessary drama too. Bentham St Pizzas provide wonderful food in a warm, inclusive and family friendly environment.

I took my girlfriend here for our year anniversary after reading the reviews all I can say is it was unbelievablely good. It’s a busy warm family restaurant that makes you feel wanted. Sandra and Carol were so attentive and on top of it. We ordered drinks and tapas to start with, we had squid and lamb they came out fast and were delicious. For mains we got two pizzas, they were GREAT, for meat eaters I suggest the number 7 they also cater for gluten free eaters which was great for my girlfriend. We were too full for desert but we’ll be back! We’ve found our local and won’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic place, really enjoy the food, everything is fresh, and meats are sliced in house. Pizza dough is just right, not too heavy, not too light. Service is friendly and they even remember you. Also a great option to get a take away and sit by the lake. Can't go wrong at all.

First visit to Canberra for many years and was pleased to find this little gem!!! Traditional pizzas and tapas and warm friendly service. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated. We had the Jamón platter (with a Fino Sherry!) followed by the Lemongrass & Lime Chicken pizza. Dessert had to be Tiramisu and a Gelato! ;-) A nice selection of wine by the glass or bottle. Coffee was lovely too!! We will be back again next time we visit.

Bentham St.Bar n Pizza offers by far the BEST Pizza in Canberra. Each year when I visit Canberra from my hometown, San Francisco, this is the first restaurant I stop by to get my fill of a delightful Pizza. The Owner, Ezio, an Italian by origin, knows how to use the freshest ingredients and vegetables to make his Signature pizza the BEST there is in the ACT. I will return and definitely recommend it to the discerning Pizza or Pasta lover.
