The best pizza in Canberra. Traditional, Napoletana style. How pizza is supposed to be made. Fresh, generous toppings. High quality dough and cheese. The 4 meats. And the 4 mushrooms were exquisite

Service & Settings: cute seating inside with outdoor heaters, there’s also ample of seating outside. Lovely service (they do phone orders) although there is a bit of wait (about 20-25mins) $$: good prices for fresh pizzas, you get exactly what you pay for ! Meal: the best pizza dough I’ve ever had, fluffy and soft. Toppings were fresh.

We had a wonderful surprise here in Canberra when we found this nice easy going spot serving a good quality wood fired pizza. We tried the four cheeses and the Margherita. Prices are also a good deal.

Best tiramisu in town. Grear pizza crust. 4 cheese pizza had too much gorgonzola which made it taste a bit stinky but to each his/her own. Will definitely go back and try other pizzas.

Gotten Mama Dough many times, and it’s hands down the best pizza in Canberra. I could eat the dough by itself it’s so good (the garlic flatbread shows this off really well). Then the toppings are all very good but don’t try to hide the dough (looking at you Crust). If you’re in Canberra in the inner north or south and want some good pizza, this is the place to go.

I love thé flavour choices and quality of ingredients but would like to suggest that you put a little more on the toppings as the last 2 pizzas I have had from you have been mostly dough. The toppings are so good please put a little more on. :)

The pizza is good, not great, a little overpriced, and a little under topped. But it's a good "whole in the wall" place to have a tasty wood fired pizza, with a traditional thin dough. There's only a few small tables inside and about four tables outside. The toppings tend to be a little too much in the middle of the pizza, which means there's a lot of dough without much topping around the outside. It also means the pizza is harder to pickup, because the middle of the pizza tends to be a little soggy on the bottom.

Mama Dough arguably crafts the best pizza base in Canberra. You know a pizza is good when the crusts alone make you happy! The pizzas here are absolute heaven and there's a good blend of classic and more unusual toppings. Looking forward to frequenting this place more!

Found mama dough on instagram 6 months ago and hadnt got around to trying out their wood fired pizzas until now. We ordered two takeaway pizzas - the Margherita and the hot salami. Both were divine and hit the hunger spot. The hot salami had a nice kick to it but wasn’t too spicy that it couldn’t be enjoyed and the Margherita sauce was to die for. The dough was soft, fluffy and fresh. Was worth the 25 min drive to Ainslie from where we live, would 10/10 do it everyday if I could.

Ordered the Sopressa and Anchovy pizzas for takeaway, was told they'd be ready in 5 minutes (!). When I arrived, I could see the very impressive oven was the reason for the quick turnaround. Pizzas were delicious - proper New York-style crust with good chew, and super flavourful toppings. New neighbourhood favourite!

Ordered 2 pizzas (1 salami & 1 pumpkin) - told it would be 5-10 minutes. The worker came outside and advised they had to remake one due to their standards - no problem i said. They brought it out within 15 minutes. I started walking off, and he chased after me with another box as they had made the incorrect pumpkin pizza. He told me to have the 3rd pizza on the house. An easy solution that makes the customer happy. I was extremely happy with this service and the pizza was delicious.

The Premier boujee pizza joint in Canberra artfully tucked away and Groovin with good tunes and comfortable seating out of the sun. The pizza, made by the striking Ryka and J and served by the charming Bella was delectable and dashing, presented beautifully and tasted just as good if not better. The dough is genuine woodfire and incredible. The eclectic modern pizza toppings are genius and delicious and perfect in every way.

Really delicious pizza and quick service too! A bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it as its really tasty. I think it is better than Pizza Gusto in the city and on par with Italian and Sons.

Proper Italian pizza made by a proper Napolitano cuoco. No doubt the best pizza place in Canberra. 100% recommend if you're a lover of Italian wood-fried pizza. I've actually been to Italy and can promise that this pizza easily competes with real Napolitan pizza.

We branched out and got two different pizzas this time. I had to Google 'nduja - (a traditional Calabrian spicy salami spread) and it was perfect - a hit of heat with an already interesting mix of ingredients. And the pizzas were ready quicker than I could drive from the other end of Ainslie!! Love the colourful table lights in the outdoor nook!!

This pizza hit DIFFERENT. Bruschetta was OUTTA THIS WORLD. The fior Di latte was so good the guy I was with sucked it off his napkin. If you need a heavy self-care moment, get the Nutella calzone. Bella was lovely and accommodated to our menu alterations. Ruben was also great and is a weapon in the kitchen.
