I went twice while on holiday in Tasmania. Both times I found the owner and staff to be super efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and they had Gluten-free options available. I will definitely visit again next time I am in Tassie.

Hands down the BEST authentic Italian restaurant I have had the pleasure of eating at. The classic "Owner smiling, serving and interacting with customers feel" We were served by Emily, who was super lovely! Make sure you make the time to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, with a large selection of Italian wines to complement your meal. I had the Di Luca with Fettuccine $30 and my wife had the Lasagna Paesano $25 which were both delicious!

Amazing. Speedy AND tasty. Ordered a takeaway right smack peak hour Saturday night at 825pm. Was told I could pick up at 850pm latest. Was ready upon arrival. As They werent as busy we asked if we could dine in instead and they obliged with juch) much enthusiasm. Service was sharp. Pizza dough slightly on the thick side. Pasta looks like it's more popular there. 👌 Four stars for food. Five stars for speed, service and whole feel of a relax pizza diner

We had dinner here on our last night in Hobart and it was just lovely! I can't remember what pizza topping my friend chose but I had rigatoni carbonara (think I added grilled chicken) and my favourite wine: moscato. Good ambiance and service. The location is not as central but it's worth venturing out to dine in or order take out.

It was our first time tonight and it definitely won't be our last. The quality of the food and service was amazing. One of the best pizzas I've ever had, perfect base with fresh, tasty ingredients. Absolutely amazing food, service and atmosphere. I cannot stop raving about the Gnocchi - had it with creamy pesto sauce and hot salami and it was heavenly! The girls serving us alerts also amazing and made the experience superb. New Italian favorite in town.

Haven't been to Tasmania for years, wanted pizza and took a gamble on this place. Ordered a pizza with the lot, my gamble absolutely paid off, lots of fresh ingredients and one of the Best pizzas I've had for a Long time.

The pizza and calzone for mains were great but if you go here you have to try the dessert calzone. Not being able to decide, we had a berry and an apple one and halved and swapped. Still not sure which was more awesome!

Cute place. Always make reservations. Due to covid restrictions, they do not let people sit on all the available tables. The pasta seemed a bit bland to my liking. Pizzas there are amazing! A bit pricey for the portions of pasta. Nonna's gnocchi seemed to be over cooked and there was too much of sweet tasting nepolitana sauce. Overall, the pizzas there are a must try. Always order in advance so the pizzas are ready when you get there already and you can beat the 20 minutes waiting time.

Five paesano attended enjoyably. A couple o' pizza a calzone, like a pizza/taco really, a large risotto, and the 'special' spaghetti. Of the dishes the spaghetti delighted least. Dessert cheese cake ok and espresso over icecream is hard to miss up. For a Tuesday it was quite, the ambience happy. Having been here a few times, the evening's food was a little below par.

Paesano is the best pizza place in Hobart. And that is before you get the the pasta on offer at the friendly and well run restaurant. The only issue is it is VERY popular. Book ahead if you can but I had an outdoor table on a beautiful Saturday night and enjoyed every moment of it. Highly recommended this place.....

Cannot recommend this place enough. We went with our two kids and the waitresses and owner were so welcoming and accommodating. My 4year old son loved the bambini pizza-he's never finished a meal-but polished this off because it was so delicious (his words). We had the entree sized risotto, ravioli and pizza to share between us, and struggled to finish it. It was so good. So glad we ate here while holidaying in Hobart. Keep up the great job. You are onto a winner here, team paesano.

Our family ate there last Saturday night. Very tasty food and reasonable prices as well. If you want fair dinkum italian food this is definitely the place. Owner and staff very friendly. Highly recommend it.

When the locals flock it is a good sign, and flock they did. They have a rip roaring take away as well as eat in. The eat in on the ground floor is small and can be noisy, there are also some tables out front. Upstairs is a larger dining space. Try to book here. Have had pizza and pasta on 2 separate occasions both great meals, with plenty of food at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

The food is always great, but the staff are on total auto pilot. I've been there atleast 10 times and busy or not the food takes forever to arrive at the table, atleast 30 minutes from ordering and you almost have to tackle a waitress to get additional drinks, water or order an additional dish. They never come back to check on you, the owner always asks if the meal was good at the end and the answer is yes it was great, but some customer service on how you meals going or would you like something else would make this a great restaurant.

Top quality Italian food. Ive been there many times over the years and the food and service has consistently been to a high standard. Pizzas use top quality ingredients and delicious bases. The calzones are also worth a try.

Walked in with no reservation on a Wednesday evening, they were full upstairs so we had a table downstairs (its a small area with only 4 tables for 2 in this area). Its a byo at $4/head corkage on wine. Food was excellent. We waint for mains and the portion was huge, it was a struggle to finish but we did (there was no way I was leaving any behind!!). Would highly recommend. The smoked salmon with leeks, sundried tomatoes and spinach pasta was particularly tasty.

Love their pizza! We had the Patate Dolci pizza which was recommended by one of the staff. It was so delicious we came back the second time. The place's also BYOB. Do make a reservation just in case.

We loved this place so much we went back two days later! The food is great and the chicken and mushroom pasta is to die for! Get a window seat upstairs and people-watch. It makes the whole experience even better.

We were in Hobart on holidays. Great place serving pasta and pizzas. The food was wonderful never left us disappointed. Great variety of pastas and pizzas. The staff were friendly and there service was good. We had 6 nights choosing Parsano on 3 of the occasions. Have touring around Tasmania it was a great option with 3 kids. Would recommend them for a nice meal.
