The pizza was very delicious. I am amazed by the punch of mushroom flavour that you get every bite. I thought the white base would be on the heavier side, but I was very wrong! It was absolutely delicious. The crusts were also crispy and wonderfully toasted.
The gnocchi was my favorite out of the two. They were very tender and I absolutely love the sauce. It was zingy and refreshing. The cherry tomatoes added bursts of sweetness. I loved how they paired it up with some mozzarella. An absolute treat.

Had a great Christmas lunch here. Great food and great service and great value. I had the Fiore di late and mushroom pizza. It was delicious. People raved about the risotto and the gnocchi too. There was a free glass of wine with every main and I broke my alcohol drought and had a glass of proseco. It was fresh and crisp. All in all it was a positive experience and I'm very likely to go back.
D. L.
Must try have a truffle mushroom pizza and gnocchi. However my favourite margarita pizza was just normal.

+39 is simply the best pizzeria I have ever visited. They provide over the top quality in every aspect of a dining experience. Their service as soon as you enter the greeting is friendly , the atmosphere is authentic, and the food (pizza, why else go to a pizzeria?) PHENOMENAL. When asking the wait staff anything from opinion/suggestion to menu suggestions they are on point. +39 you’ve made the journey of eating my way through Melbourne a delectable dining delight.
As the terminator said, I’LL BE BACK.
A. G.
Great pizza, Italian style. Puffy edge and thin middle. Quality ingredients. Staff was a bit late with my wine but oh well..no big deal. Give it a try but get something traditional / gourmet!!
S. L.
Pizza was good but the signature lamb ragu pasta was too bland. We added some salt and it tasted better after.
P. P.
I walk by most every day and finally stopped in for a pizza. Glad I did. Pizza was delicious. And topped it off with a tiramisu and grappa!
M.
Outstanding pizzas as always! Nice atmosphere but slightly cramped. Love how their pizzas taste fresh out of the oven every time. Generous with the flavourful toppings too. Hard to pick my favourite because all their pizzas are on point 👌

Great food! Loved the margarita pizza and the lamb ragu, highly recommend!
S. L.
Pizza was pretty good, we had the Diavoli I think. Lamb ragu pasta was tad bit disappointing the pasta was really bland although the lamb is tender.
T.
One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Melbourne.
High quality ingredients and the idea of a dipping sauce for the crusts is a great idea.
Loved it and will make excuse to come back again
D. B.
Cute and intimate Italian eatery. Lovely friendly service.
Our pizza and garlic bread were a little bland and needed more toppings. Next time we’ll order something more exciting.
S. C.
I come weekly to the restaurant in the city to have linguine marinara (seafood pasta) and my San Pellegrino aranciata. The food is so appetizing and the service is great. The place is packed even on a Monday so it's essential to make a booking so as not to be disappointed.
V. L.
Got a couple of takeaway pizzas the other day and the pizzas were fresh and flavoursome and not soggy at all. The service was very good too. We will be back for more.
E. C.
The italian destination of Melbourne. The surrounding atmospheric is like a big warm hug. Fell in love with the delectable food and wine. The staff were so welcoming and warm!! I suggest getting thé carpaccio for sure, as well as the Crudaiola pizza. I couldn’t recommend this place more🤎
P.
Haven't been here for ages! Love the vibe and services are pretty quick. 👌

You know that the pizza is good when you smell it.
Cute little restuarant, tables are small. But the BIG punch come when you eat their pizza! Definitely one of the best pizza I have eaten (included the ones I had in Italy!).
Lots of choices for Vegetarians😍
Have small toilet at the back.
K. R.
Been here many times - pizza and pasta options are absolutely delicious every time! Sometimes they have polenta fries with truffle mayo on the menu, a real stand-out starter dish for me! Hope they bring it back again soon.
R. A.
We ordered from the web and unknowingly ordered at their Toorak store. When arriving at the CBD store after their pickup time had closed, they cancelled the Toorak order and still made the pizzas for us and didn't charge us extra.
Not to mention how great the pizzas are. Perfect base and the toppings are sensational. Highly recommend!!!
A. P.
Great dining experience! The staffs were nice and friendly! The thin style pizza is also amazing! The crust was on point, the cheese is stretchy, and the sauce is tasty! The pizza took 30 minutes to finish but it was worth it.
D. P.
Very attentive and friendly service. Without a booking but I was seated and served quickly. The garlic bread and pizza were both fantastic and came out cooked perfectly and piping hot. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again when in Melbourne
K. R.
Pizza is their main push and it's obvious why! The base is nice and soft but with a bite as well as the quality of the toppings being superb. Lots of pizzas to choose from but also provide a few pastas too. Great vibes and exceptional service. Booking or going early is a must as it gets packed quite quickly!
S. K.
Wow even getting my food delivered.. the food made me very very happy... so I can't imagine dining in.. I can tell that they make the food with love and care.
Pizza was incredible and unique from the dough, toppings, cheeses and packaging.
They even have sauces for your crusts. I got the lovely truffles mushrooms dip.. which is a game changer.
And let me tell you.. those polenta chips stayed crispy and tasty for the rest of the day.
Tiramisu was the best I've ever had.
Thanks guys for making lockdown more enjoyable :) you got me excited to try the rest of your menu items.
D. M.
Nice atmosphere.
Great tasting food.
Very nice wine.
The only reason it didn't receive Davies coveted 5 star rating...
The pizza. It was really tasty. And it had plenty of toppings. But.... the centre of the base was a little soggy. But that was probably due to the amount of vegetables as toppings. Maybe the veggies needed a bit more oven time.
But really very tasty.
J. W.
I’ve been to Italy a couple of times in last 12 months. Going to this cafe was like an extra visit. The food was just as I remember, fresh and delicious. The meats and cheese I had was wonderful and the extra of the truffle honey was a taste delight. The garlic bread was exceptional. Topped it off with a nice Italian red and it was a great afternoon meal.
Prices were good and staff and atmosphere was friendly.
Forget Lygon Street, this is the real deal for Italian food !
A. G.
Excellent food - colleagues enjoyed their pizza and pasta and my salad was really fresh and well balanced. Unfortunately the accoustics are terrible so if the restaurant is full, it's going to be hard to talk/hear your dining companions.
C.
We found this place from doing a search on the best Italian in Melbourne CBD and boy did it live up to expectation. The pizza and pasta we had were amazing and this extra sauce that you can get is a massive gamechanger. We had the lamb ragu pasta and +39 pizza with truffle mushroom sauce on the side. The pizza is woodfired, do crust came out nice and crispy and they do not stinge out on the topping. The fior di latte was so creamy and beautiful and the prosciutto was one of the best I've ever had. The lamb ragu rigatoni was also delicious, once again, not stinging out on the meat. Each bite was so flavourful. Staff were also friendly and extremely accommodating to me, my husband and 6mo son despite not having a reservation. Atmosphere is very cosy and it's not loud so you're not talking over the top of each other. Kind of bummed we didn't get to try the specials (lobster pizza and crab linguine) and very tempted to go back tomorrow for them. =]
N. C.
Ordered the tartufatu pizza (truffle and mushroom) through uber eats. Loved every bit of it, and this is coming from someone whose first preference isn't vegetarian dishes
J. S.
Delicious pizza! Always a great meal, service always good, toppings are fantastic. Only downfall, it's not the easiest pizza to eat, but it all ends up in the same place anyway!
S. (.
The pizzas there were phenomenal, the waitress with the red hair went above and beyond with her service!
T. G.
Dropped in for a late lunch. Had three dishes. Margarita pizza with olives. The caprese salad & carpaccio. The food is excellent. Personally I prefer a carpaccio with beef rather than pork cold cuts. Service was fine. Pizza was great. Def would recommend snd def would return
F. L.
This place is super crowded especially during Fri. & weekends. Be sure to go there early else might have to wait an hour to get a table there. Great Italian food, the Margherita Pizza, Radicchio Treviso Salad and lobster linguine is nice. However, the space is bit cram.
F. G.
Modern and refined pizza and pasta place. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. The key was the dough here as it had a nice texture. We tried the +39 pizza and VIP - Very Italian Pizza. Love the aroma of blue cheese from the +39. For the VIP, we added extra truffle paste, made it a burst of flavor bomb from the freshness of tomato, milky and creamy from the mozzarella, and a dash of earthiness from the truffle.
Italian cookies and cream for dessert was perfect as it was very hot outside. The tiramisu also was good, had a nice kick of espresso before toned down by the creamy mascarpone.
N. G.
This place is awesome! I totally recommend the cheese and meats selection (Lo stendino on the menu) that you can get for like $13.50pp!!such a hit! The staff were extremely helpful and got us seated in no time. Thankfully the hype lived up to its expectation. They had a gluten free pasta option too which tasted so amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s craving a good quality Italian feed!
s.
The place is nicely decorated but it can be a little bit crowded. The food is nice, the prawn pizza and the pasta are my favourites. Though I found the crust to be quite thick, the toppings were great. Another thing contributed to the deducted star is one waitress who was having a bit of an altitude.
Tip: Remember to book your table beforehand.
A. M.
A great Italian restaurant expereince. We tried a diverse range of the menu and were delighted with all of it - the pizzas were delicious with the right amount of topping, our 2 pasta options were very nice, the lasagne seemed like a refined classic of the restaurant and the desserts were the cherry on top. The staff were efficient and allowed us to enjoy the meal. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely reccomend it
J. C.
Amazing !! This was the VIP vegetarian pizza. Really delicious. Loved the idea of pizza crust dipping sauce, do wish it was served warm but sure you could ask 💗
J. W.
Really good truffle pizza, very delicious. Base was great and the mushroom and truffle was amazing.
Lamb ragu was good as well.
I love my beers and this place had a rrally good selection of yummy italian beers, highly recommed.
C. C. R.
I was so satisfied having lunch here. The place was pretty huge with plenty of seats and had a nice ambiance with a fast service and humble staffs.
I ordered Crudaiola pizza, and it tasted awesome. The freshness ingredients were perfectly cooked with the pizza dough, and most of all the price was reasonable.
It is located in the city of melbourne with no parking area provided, and a lot of crowd waiting in a long line at lunch time. Luckily, i immediately got a seat since it was over lunch time. Overall, I was having a good experience eating here and would love to come back for another dish.
L. C.
Excellent pizza, mixture of buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto and tomato salsa. Flavour is sublime and brings out the authentic Italian flavour. The pastas were also excellent, lobster linguine the most balanced and exciting of the tastebuds one can have and the lobster strings melt in your mouth. The marinara was cooked to perfection too.
L.
The photos speak for themselves. This place is truly incredible. It is definitely one of the best Italian places in Melbourne.
S. E.
Delicious pizzas. The Lasanga bites were amazing! Would definitely recommend and will go back again. Staff were really helpful and friendly too.
K. A.
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE TRUFFLED MUSHROOMS DIP FOR YOUR CRUST ..CAUSE WHO LIKES CRUST BLEH, EVEN THOUGH CRUST HERE IS BOMB.
Great service and amazing pizza, only thing is if you want to have a long meal with friends and hang out chatting after the meal, this is more of a have your meal within your 2 hour slot and go.
But other than that which is no real biggie it's the perfect pre outing spot right in the city walking distance from heaps of bars to continue the night.
L. T.
Nice atmosphere but didn't love the food here. The pizza was pretty good but the seafood pasta wasn't too enjoyable - mainly because the spaghetti tasted overwhelmingly doughy/starchy.
D. R.
Highly recommended for those who near this area (little bourke street). The food is amazing as it is affordable (if shared with 2 pax) and its also appetising~ the truffle pizza is good and so is their polenta chips :) Highly recommended place to eat for a casual meetup! Place is also very lively and warm too :)
A. A.
Consistently delicious. Authentic and rich. Plenty of options. So glad to be back!!!
One small thing: would it be possible to slice pizzas post the cured meat? Makes it tricky to do so at the table!! 😆
P. S.
Dinner with our work colleagues at +39 Pizzeria, Little Bourke, Melbourne CBD was a great affair. The staff were attentive, maintaining COVID safe measures, the food was good and arrived within a short time of ordering it.
The ambiance of the eatery was fantastic and it’s at such a great location in the city, easily accessible by public transport.
It is recommended that you book beforehand, esp in these COVID times.
A huge thank you to the serving staff and cooking crew at +39 Pizzeria for a wonderful dining experience this evening.
C. B.
Excellent, authentic Italian pizza. Ingredients are fresh and portion sizes are great. Dessert pizza was also really nice and just the right size. Excellent atmosphere.
N.
Some of the best pizza I’ve had. Always a strong choice when I’m down visiting Melbourne. Very friendly service. Will come back again.
A. D.
Me and my partner had the Margarita and Sweet potatoe yesterday. Nothing exciting. Pretty regular pizzas for relatively high prices (around $25 dillars). It felt like the flour base and the sauce and toppings are not homogenous as they should be. The place is super noisy with really bad acoustics. What really bothered us that there are too many tables and there is not enough space and also the seating area is adjacent to the kitchen. We could hardly hear ourselves talking. Not in the level of the top pizzas in Melbourne anyway, in our opinion. For their prices you could find better quality pizzas in the city which use higher quality sourdough pizza base. Also almost all their pizzas have meat so if you are vegetarian you might get disappointed. You can take a meat pizza without the meat buy they are going to charge the same price.
A. R.
Price: $$/$$$$ (pizza and pasta btwn $18 to $29 AUD)
Portions: big, good value for the money.
Flavor: 5/5 (excelente)
Service: Quick
Review:
Nice Italian restaurant in Melbourne.
The place is nice with a lot of tables and when is full it can be a little noisy.
The menu is well planned, with a few great plates.
A good selection of wine and cocktails.
The instalata leggera full of rocket it’s a great light option to start - a little expensive though.
The Lamb Ragú pasta is superb! Big chunks of lamb perfectly cooked tossed with olive oil and fresh made pasta! Add chilli oil!
The pizza looks amazing, big enough to share.

In Melbourne for a few days and came here for dinner without a booking which was a mistake but the staff were quite accommodating and friendly. The pizza and croquettes were fantastic, so we booked in for lunch the next day to try their 39 layered lasagne and lamb ragu.....we were not disappointed. Definitely will be booking in next time in town.
L. i.
Amazing Italian cuisine. Definitely would go back. And the service was great!
M. B. M.
wow! impressed! the place was jumping when we arrived at 830pm, packed to the hilt but staff was really friendly and told us it would only be a 15 minute wait and yes it was!
so glad we waited as the meal was excellent. we had home made meat balls that were soft and silky doused with homemade pasata, the gnocchi on special was really tasty as well as the fettucine alla marina with squid ink fettucine and generous amount of prawns, scallops, callamari, vongole. my only irk was that the fettucine strands stuck to each other instead of being seperate but the rich seafood stock came through clearly.
B. T.
Amazing food! I had the lasagne and it was well layered, topped off with a pool of cheese at the bottom. Absolutely delicious and will most definitely come back!
S. D.
This is our new favorite place to get a pizza delivered! They also have the best cannolis in town. We look forward to dining-in next time.
A.
The pizza and croquettes were absolutely mind blowing, I would about the lobster pasta though, it was well below average for the price they are charging. Nice atmosphere, a little cramped though.
V.
Very good pizza! My last visit here was on January 2018, good to know that the quality still as good as ever! The parmigiana (v) is lovely and filling although it's without meat.
E. K.
Great pizza joint in the CBD. The honey truffle in the Lo Stendino is suprisingly so good! The pizzas are thin and perfectly balanced. The +39 pizza came with cream parmesan cheese that's really good.

Amazing pizza & pasta, lovely open & easy atmosphere. We didn’t stay long but ate a lot of food 😁😁 crazy good Italian🇮🇹 authentic pizza!!

The best Italian I've had in Melbourne! Staff are friendly. Food and drink selection took me back to Italy. Highly recommend. Would definitely come back!
D. T.
One of the best margarita pizza's in the cbd I have ate so far, delivery wasn't good as thr pizza was 1/4 out of the box when it arrived but the rest was ok I wasn't very hungry anyway.. keep up the great work
R. H.
The most delicious pizzas I’ve ever had. A little expensive. But worth the experience. Reservation necessary, as always busy.
a. p.
Omg, the pizza was amazing!! And the polenta chips were delicious. Fresh and tasty pizza what else is there to say?
A. S.
Delicious pizza!!
Great service by the friendly staff.
Gets very busy around lunch.
F. P.
I ordered the spaghetti marinara as part of the $35 lunch for group. The pasta texture is chewy soft (not soggy), so probably they use fresh pasta. Quite generous seafood. The portion doesn't look big but it's enough for me.
The entree was bread, dip and sliced meat (sorry, not sure what it's called).
Overall, service was good and organised. We pre-ordered our food and it got served without waiting for too long.
Slightly pricy for my wallet.
E. C.
Loved the pizza here! Great spot for lunch in the CBD. They were quick to serve the food, staff was delightful, it's a great atmosphere and affordable prices. I can't wait to come back and try the pastas!
J. L.
Best pizza i have ever had. Seriously. Meatballs and lamb are also good but not impressive compared with the pizza.
H. V.
The best pizza in the city I must say. We ordered the +39 as it's the name of the restaurant and it was delightful. We also had Nonna's meatballs - the most delicious meatballs that I've ever had. Such a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back to try their pasta and more pizza.
J. S.
Amazing! Some of the best pizza in Melbourne CBD, I cannot recommend it enough!
You honestly can't go wrong with the menu selection, choose whatever piques your interest and it will surely be great.
Plus! You get chocolates with your bill - too kind! ❤❤❤ X
J. K.
The food was lovely and had great service.
R. T.
The polenta fries with creamy, slightly earthy truffle mayo and the tartufata pizza were both delicious. The Margherita was certainly better than most as well... the bufalo mozzarella was great, could have used a bit more basil.
G. M.
Best Lasagna I think I’ve ever had. Reasonably priced and excellent service. Good selection of Italian beer but wine list is probably the only let down. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Y. L.
Pizza and lamb pasta are great. May wait for long time in Friday night, so it's better to book earlier. We wait around half an hour to get a seat
B. T.
Great atmosphere, excellent service and some of the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten.
A. G.
Nice Pizza, lots of vegetarian, all classy pizza - don't expect to see any Hawaiian on the menu. Big groups get a degustation to start of meats and olives bread etc. Very small restaurant that packs in way too many people making it very very loud. There is always a wait and reservations for groups require a deposit. The food was good. Not convinced about not being able to have a converstaion with my meal due to the background noise and the fact that the tables at the back are so close together anyone wanting to get through to the toilets that is more than 100kg is going to knock plates flying. 100% recommend for take away if you're in the city. If you're not then its your call - expect good food, don't expect conversation or space to breathe.
J. T.
Worth every of the 20min wait. Food service, Great food. Pipi octopus fettuccine was superb, meatball was good and the +39 pizza 🍕 was to die for….
C. C.
Came here for dinner.
Nice Italian option. All dishes tasted nice. Staff were friendly.
M. T.
The first time we went for dinner on a Friday night. We had to wait to be seated but staff was attentive and nice. Pizza and pasta was amazing! The second time we went on a Sunday afternoon for coffee and tiramisu. The Italian hot chocolate was thick like a soup. Superb. Perfect to warm yourself up on a cold day.
B. O.
Dynamite! This is what pizza is for me. So pleased I made the treck. I got the signature pizza +39.
J. L.
Wow! That's an excellent idea to present an entrée! The Truffle honey was the highlight and service was fantastic! This is really a place to go in the city!
J. N.
The +39 is the best pizza I’ve ever had. The lamb Ragu is great as well.
H. “.
Pizza looked quite plain, but tasted amazing. Really enjoyed it
S. O. M.
Good pizzas for dinner. A lot of customers here so do come early. Highly recommend this for a night out.
B. L.
Great pizza, really tasty and delicious, I'd recommend the +39 pizza.
S. K.
Tried this place for the first time with a friend. Good pizza n pasta with combo of lemon lime bitter
c. f.
Crowded place, a bit overrated.
Pizzas were okay.
Staff just want you in and out unfortunately, can't blame them though the place is too cramped.
o. l.
Loved my seafood pasta, sauce was light a d had a bit of a kick very tasty it was a bit undercooked but staff was very nice and accommodating.
A. A.
For the people like The Real Italian Restaurant n Food, this is the place. But if U prefer American Pizza, I don't think this the right place. Because U will not find ketchup n tabasco here.
R. R.
Good pizza with an excellent crust. We ordered the lasagna as well. Although it was good I felt like the portion was a little small.
J. W.
Blissful degustation at +39 Pizzeria
So glad to finally pay a visit to one of the most established Italian eatery in Melbourne. The name +39 itself actually refers to the telephone area code in Italy... and what a gifted name it is! As the food here certainly connects customers to an authentic Italian culinary journey.
The restaurant is pretty easy to find, nestle just across Tip00 on a busy-passed lane of Little Bourke Street. Venue-wise it is rather spacious and me quite fond of the interior design; homey, relaxing atmosphere adorned with vintage decorations. During my visit, there was a modest wait time, but since I travel solo, I had the luxury to be seated right away *lucky*.
For my lunch, I ordered + 39 Pizzeria pride and joy: The blue swimmer crab spaghetti, it arrived in gorgeous presentation and was insanely delicious. The crab was sweet and juicy and paired with the semi crispy house made spaghetti and coated with garlic chili, Napoli sauce and lobster bisque - A burst of flavor in the mouth that makes my palate dance! I literary couldn't stop munching it.
It was nothing less than a stellar dining experience at Italia +39. Their food is seriously fantastic from beginning to the end, and to be completely honest, it's been a few months since my last meal at Italia +39 Pizzeria and I still couldn't get over how delicious every single thing are! Beautiful food, lovely ambiance and classy service.
k. w. (.
delicious pizzas, ham, cheese. good customer service! I ate margerita with Buffula and nutella pizza! They're amazing taste!
G. A. V.
the best pizza place in Melbourne, from Negroni to Grappa Invechiata! A trip to Italy all the way through. great ambience excellent pizza.
P. N.
Now this was something different! Nice pizza and Italian vibes. Always packed had a great time as the staff recommended what to get.
N. R.
The best place for dinner in a Sunday night. The pasta and the focaccia were just perfect
S. R.
5 🌟 pizza kind of place. A small Italian eatery with a menu that is both traditional and interesting. I only tried the Margherita here and it was excellent!
G. P.
Pizza was the best here but pasta and other were ok. I ordered the Lobster Pasta, it was tasty but not special. Usually it's hard to get a table but we got lucky today . Service was good and the staff is friendly.
r. a.
In no uncertain terms, the BEST gluten free base I’ve ever had. This pizza made me very, very happy.
+ the service is friendly and warm but importantly, genuine.
Great night.

Plus 39 Pizzeria is the place to eat while on a trip to Melbourne. Very convenient location and amazing food. The antipasto platter is an experience in itself! Make sure you make a booking as it seems to always be very busy. But well worth the effort if you’re looking for a great dinner experience in the CBD.
S.
Great food, very busy expect to wait! Pricey for what you get but! $100 for 2 pizzas a salad a drink each!
T. S.
I truly commend this restaurant for consistently delivering outstanding high-quality food and service. Lovely staff, nice atmosphere, great menu choices: you can tell a lot of love is regularly poured into this place. I highly recommend any of their pizza (the dough is perfect!) or pasta dishes. If you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, this is your spot. It will keep you coming back!
M. M.
Loved it..very courtieious staff . very simple Italian pizza..healthy eat..they won't add sauce. Just simple n delicious...enjoyed the ambience.. all culture variations enjoys their food n chat like they are at their home..I loved the place..food was ok..i felt it's pure.. nothing artificial..

Fantastic pizza place and dessert is amazing as well. Credit card surcharge was bit steep tho.

Arrived at 4PM - thankfully got a table for 2 since we went without reservation. Great pizza that we got (called +39, so I'm guessing/hoping it's their signature).
A.
Great value for the Italian restaurant, but quite oily for our taste. Might try something else when we come again next time.
J. B.
Great great great pizza
Love the tartu fattta
Thanks for such yummm food
Attitude of the owner can be better

Amazing Pizza, This Pizza reminds me of Naples in Italy. It taste so good.
Very good service.
Was offered chili oil, taste so good.
Well done guys, I would highly recommend this place.
T. Y.
Amazing vegetarian pizza, crust was incredible! Would recommend anyone chasing great pizza during their trip to Melbourne.

Visited on a Saturday night at 5pm and this place got so busy, yet service was reasonable throughout the evening. I have had better woodfired pizza in Melbourne particularly with the prices they charge, but they were still pretty good nonethheless. Only downside was the public restroom was a bit of a mess when visiting unfortunately.
E. S.
Coming from singapore, i think this pizza/pasta is at most average. It is very decent and i dont believe it is the best melbourne can offer. I think that the service was okay too but i dont complain as they are italians. Overall an average experience therefore i gave 3 stars. Hopefully there are better pizza/pasta melbourne can offer. :(
시.
I ate Margherita and Diavola pizza🍕 It was very good and infact I was so busy eating that I forgot to take the damn photos of the pizza🤣 hahahaha But the price is too expensive😤 The cheapest pizza is almost $19 and I think $24 for lasagna is crazy ridiculous🤬🤯👹 맛있는데 존나 비쌈... 내 돈 주고 먹기 싫음///
G. T.
Pizza was delicious and enough for 2 people. Pasta was only average and could have been better for the price paid.
S. M.
Great gf pizza 🍕! Authentic Italian flavours! Great service too and lively atmosphere 💯

+39 Pizzeria brought by a group of Italian people from Naples longing to bring the original Italian Pizza and Pasta to Melbourne.
This restaurant tucked in the little bourke street, Melbourne CBD.
The restaurant is pretty spacious with the sleek and modern minimalist interior design without leaving the Italian culture.
The vibe and environment is great and cosy.
The customer staffs were friendly, attentive and professional.
Absolutely trusted restaurant as it's been reviewed by more than 2500 food lovers in Zomato and their rating is above 4.0.
Note: we'd suggest to place the bookings before you come as it's always busy all the time.
If you're the pizza lover and would like to stretch your budget little it more, +39 Pizzeria is the "to go" and recommended place.

- Tartufata (Fior di latte, cream of mushrooms, mushrooms, rocket, truffle oil & parmesan) for $23.50.
- Crudaiola (bufallo mozzarella, prosciutto di parma on a bed of marinated roma tomatoes, rocket & parmesan) for $26.90.
At that night, we couldn't decide which one was the best pizza as both of them were absolutely fantastic and had uniqueness.
They're perfectly cooked in traditional Italian wooden oven, this restaurant delivered the different level standard of pizza.
Though, it's slightly expensive compared to other pizza bars but it's worth of money for the quality, decent portion and authenticity of Italian taste.
We reckoned this restaurant is the best pizza restaurants we've ever tried so far.
The Tartufata had the strong and great smell of truffle oil, loved it!
It was perfectly seasoned and great option for non vegetarian.
On the other hand, if you're meet lover, Crudaiola is very recommended.
Generous portion of prosciutto di parma and the taste was splendid.
Little bit sour taste coming from marinated roma tomatoes blended in perfectly with the savoury taste of prosciutto.
Ahhh, one thing that you should know that you must say "Yes" when they offer you their homemade chilli oil with olive oil.
We love having spicy food, personally the pizza came to beyond the perfection by adding their chili oil on top of the pizza.
Overall, we had a wonderful pizza and experiences in this place and added to our favourite pizza bars.
Taste: 5.0
Service: 4.5
Speed: 4.5
Price: 2.5
Yay: Tartufata, Crudaiola
Nay: N/A

For a place that styles itself Italian and considering the price the pizza was nothing to write home about. For Melbourne standards (and with Cartel and Manchester Press right across the street) the coffee was straight up bad. Wouldn't recommend.
M. W.
Their pizza was great. We tried +39 and were very happy. Lasagne croquettes were great, polenta chips very dry and overcooked.
R. D.
Second time here, the margherita pizza wasn't as good as the first time and I was there and at a less busier time. The cured meats were great and so was the mini Nutella pizza.
J. M.
Pizza was fine, above avg price would go back
R. A.
Everything was super tasty - will come back here! Can’t believe how busy it is though - even midweek on a Wednesday night!
I. S.
Really nice pizza and pasta, great place to have dinner. A little bit noisy indoor.
Y. A. N.
Tasted amazing, don't know if the price tag was worth it though.
T. L.
Went here a few times, had the +39 pizza, swimmer crab pasta, and affogato... All were excellent
R. B.
Really nice Italian pizza. Had the diavolo and added truffle oil. Crust is thin, but full of flavor. Will definitely come back.
C.
Best pizza we’ve had in a long time, tastes like it’s straight from Italy. Delicious food and great service 😍
f. a.
The best pizzeria in melbourne for ages ! Taste doesn't change and stuff are friendly funny and kind.
C.
A must visit for the best Italian food. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, the staff are friendly, and the food is truly amazing.
Excellent authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of the Melbourne CBD.
P. L. G.
This is the best pizza restaurant in the Melbourne CBD by some way - the service is always exemplary and the quality of the food and beverage is first class. Thanks to Paolo and his team for always taking care of us.
L.
Holy moly how did I not know about this place two blocks from my office. Hands down among the best Italian pizzas I've had, with fantastic service to match. Kudos!
l. f.
Easy great pizza joint, always buzzing. Love the chili infused olive oil as topping
P. S.
What an awesome experience: pizza to die for, atmosphere as close as possible to a typical Italian one, and the cherry on the cake is the service offered Paolo, great host and great person.
Will be back on our next visit to Melbourne.
S. O.
The best affogato I have had in Australia for sure. The diavola pizza and lobster linguine was delicious. Staff are excellent and the food is quick to come out. Love this place!!!
T. R.
Sensational flavours and amazing ingredients make for the best tasting pizza. Top service and great value for money. Definitely recommend eating here.
A. A.
I tried their pizza it was amazing im definitely coming back to try more. The only thing i didnt like is the corn dish i cant remember its name. They offered it to us as an alternative choice for fries.
A. S.
Fantastic Pizza, in an intimate setting. Excellent wait staff. Wholeheartedly recommend.
K.
The pizza is so good here I drove from Lygon St and spent 20 minutes finding a parking spot to eat here. Their signature pizza is fantastic.
R. Y.
Great dining! The staffs are so nice and friendly! Amazing Pizza and pasta with traditional flavous and generous size meals - love it!
E. Y.
Pizzas are good. Food is good. Service is good. Prices are reasonable. Would recommend.
K. C.
Pizza that I ordered is super tasty, exactly what I want to eat. Staff are so friendly and helpful. No wonder, why this place has good rate
C. D.
The nicest pizza I have ever eaten. Friendly service, and pizza came out very quickly despite the restaurant being full.
M. N.
One of Melbourne CBD's hidden gems! Go here for the best pizza, pasta and wine to go along with it. My favorites are the lasagna which is such a delicious bowl of happiness it's hard to stop eating and the Calabrese pizza with nduja. The people are such a happy lot, very attentive. Our food arrived very quickly as well.
M. S.
Omg this place is definately a must the boys running it are just the best and very accomodating. Our waitress was very helpful and suggested some great dishes. The menu is easy to order from and not over complicated. This place took me back to italy. Authentic italian food and well priced. Truffles as a side with your pizza you wont go wrong a gem in little bourke street.
T. M.
Amazing Pizza, beer selections are awesome.
Book! Don’t hesitate!
P. J.
Tried their veg pasta options. Both turned out to be good.
J. T.
Had a capricciosa and a focaccia. Focaccia was excellent, pizza was terrible, olives rolling around with the pits still in and thin soggy dough.
S. B.
Amazing pizza! Waitress couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommended 😀
S. N.
Meals were a bit small and quite pricey for the portion given. But it was quite delicious, you might need to get more than one dish in order to get full
S. (.
Great dinner, delicious food, nice restaurant and a buzzing atmosphere.
P. R.
As Naples pizzas should be - simple and extremely tasty. Try “Tartufata”. It turned out to be the best pizza we have tried...ever! It fitted nicely with a glass of “Negroamaro” red wine from Puglia. On top of this excellent food, the service was attentive and with a smile. When we asked for a different table (too close to others) they were happy to move us with a smile. We had an excellent experience - thank you.
B. S.
The pizzas are great but service is poor and prices too high.
A. C.
Very good pizza, abundant negroni cocktail and efficient and kind staff (thanks for the information to have a nice evening!). Very quick place especially on the weekend. I'll be back
d. l.
Food was outstanding, very cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff.
S. B.
My favorite pizza restaurant in Melbourne, for the range, the flavours and the ambiance. Then there's the affogato...hmm
A regular place to catch up with close friends, we can talk over a wine, a radicchio salad and delicious pizzas. For vegetarians, I recommend the Parmigiana (eggplant) or the margherita.
Service is usually very prompt, courteous and friendly. Good value for money and a central location in Little Bourke St, where there's options around for a pre or post dinner drink.
+39 Pizzeria has never let me down.
T. W.
Smart, vibrant, busy Italian, great value, top notch
G. H.
Magnificent! Great flavors, real thought put into the menu. Everything super tasty and good value. Make sure you book.
M. A.
Wow... Where to start.
+39 provided one of the most Authentic and enjoyable experiences I've had. The staff were really attentive, helpful and accommodating and the pizza was so delicious and filling. The store had a nice upbeat vibe and the food was served quickly and at a good price.
My friend and I were blown away by the quality and authenticity of our experience, if you want pizza the way it is supposed to be eaten, +39 pizzeria HAS to be your choice.
P. A.
I ordered a Marguerita pizza and it was perfect!
O. B.
Lucky we booked, would advise too!
Unreal pizza and lamb ragu pasta, paired with a decent large red.
G.
Good bread, good thinly sliced prosciutto, good polenta chips, overall good value
M. A. G.
Amazing Italian food restaurant. All the food and service screamed ITALIAN NONNA. I loved everything. Best thing? The lasagna bites and the pizza of course. Also, start with an Aperol spritz 😏
S. L.
Travelled Italy extensively. Miss it terribly. So when we stumbled across this place on a trip to Melbourne it was epic. In Melbourne for 4 days and came back four times. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Epic food and great staff. 🍕
S.
Sooo good. Unfortunately when we came here we had been drinking and only I was able to finish my pizza in the restaurant and It was delicious, the rest was finished later and reported to be just as tasty as the first time (when heated on stove top).
W. K. Y.
Spectacular pizza! The gorgonzola cream on the +39 pizza is amazingly rich
c. c. (.
Excellent food, wait staff extremely friendly and courteous.
A.
Your Friday Night Pizza / Date Restaurant. A little on the salty side but delicious.
R.
I always come here for the best pizza. Lovely staff and wonderful food. The lasagna croquettes were delicious too
D. H.
One of my favorite pizza restaurants!
K. W.
The best restaurant we went to when we were in Melbourne recently. And that’s compared to other places we went like tipo 00 and cumulus. The food, pizzas in particular, we’re all spectacular. You must try the +39 pizza, wow! The service, atmosphere and drinks were also top notch. Thanks for s great night, my whole family loved it, down to the 2 year old :-)
x. m.
very delicious!especially mushroom truffle pizza
G. S.
Just landed in Melbourne and was craving a pizza. The manager of my hotel recommended +39 Pizzeria and said I would not be disappointed. Well he was spot on! I ordered their namesake pizza and was rewarded with an excellent tasting pizza that reminded me of some of the best pizza that I had in NYC, Turin and Los Angeles! Very tasty and done to perfection. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful in answering any and all questions. As I was never in Melbourne before I received a number of great tips for other places to try! Great service. Give it a try and see what you think! I bet you are not disappointed!
C.
My partner and I were pleasantly surprised to be able to get a seat for two without prior booking. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and we felt right at home.
The lamb ragu had a rich flavour and the mutton was tender. We also loved how crisp the pizza crust was. Highly recommended!
V. M.
Im 39+ and this place is wonderful. No free place , tasty , fast and great service. If you are looking something that all your company will like - this is it
J. T.
Great wines and pizzas. The pizza side dips are a great idea too. The lasagna and tiramisu are the best I’ve ever tried so far.
c. s.
Lovely pizza and attentive, friendly staff. We all ordered pizzas and they were superb. When we visited it was very busy, but the food arrived quickly. The atmosphere was noisy due to the bustle however this did not distract from the meal. Recommend.
M. T. C.
4.5 stars for +39 Pizzeria in Little Bourke.
Excellent wait staff with good, friendly advice.
Mixed plate entree - excellent value. Price reasonable, quality and size very generous. Probably the best preserved artichokes we've ever had.
The pizza was good. Not up there with SPQR, but still a quality offering (and at a fair price for the city, too).
The venue was OK for a quiet day, but I expect that it's pretty loud and crowded on a bar night.
Very happy we stopped in out of curiosity. We'll be back.
D. N.
Authentic yummy pizza made with a thin crust, can get very busy, not suited for large crowds, service is a bit off.
E. E.
Delicious pizza with light crunchy crust. 30 minute dinner table wait for two people.
S.
Celebrated my birthday here with my partner.
Pizza was awesome ! And also I like their chicken salad :D Wanted to try their dessert but I didn’t have enough space for my stomach 😂 I wish we had more spacious table because it was not really comfortable sitting just in front of the showcase.
Will be back in the future !
S. W.
Delicious food and great service :-) I had the lasagna and it was amazing!
E. B.
Authentic and delicious, every time the service is excellent and unique, the staff seem to work together so well which adds to the ambience! The pizzas are second to none! The great friendly staff made me more satisfied with their services. I would definitely visit again... Highly Recommended!!
W. B.
spectacular. nothing more needs to be said. you won't find better pizza and wine that matches perfectly
U. P. (.
It was very good pizza! I little expensive but good to be in CBD.
V. R.
Great service. Always packed so you know the food must be good. Delicious pizzas served quickly. Great sized portions of tiramisu! May be a little too crowded for some. You may want to go somewhere else if you mind the table next to you being able to hear your every word and literally be able to reach into your plate.
T. V. B.
Best pizza and pasta in all of Melbourne. Make sure you book ahead. Delicious wine selections too.
a. c.
My best pizzeria for ever!!! All the food is good and place are clean every time.
J. R.
Best lasagna I've ever had. The margarita pizza was so fresh and tasty. Wonderful atmosphere.
M. C.
Amazing pizza and nice staff!
R. O. Z.
It’s always a pleasure to find such nice pizza! Very nice and quick service. We will be back.
R. S.
Great dining experience. Very casual laid back, exceptional customer service and food recommendations by staff members. Food was great, wine even better. Would definitely go again
E. C.
The best pizza in Melbourne, service is always kind and ready for all your needs. I love the atmosphere, the wine is great and Paolo is the best. I really appreciate everything there. A nice Italian experience so far away from home.
R. R.
A huge thank you to Elizabethta. Fantastic service with a smile. We dined here tonight and the food and dessert were absolutely devine. Also thanks to Gregory for making our night very enjoyable.
Must visit italian restaurant.
M. F.
Pizza and pasta just above average, although for the name of this restaurant I expected much better than that. Pizza was soggy although tasted good. I was also disappointed with the service after I read many positive reviews about it. They brought the wrong drinks twice and no eye contact with customers at all! We had to rise our hand many times until one waitress finally noticed us. I don't think I would come back or recommend it.
I. H.
We were visiting from Perth and found this great little friendly restaurant with welcoming staff, quick service and amazing food.
We shared a pizza and lasagna, both were delicious and partially satisfied our craving for Melbourne's great Italian food.
Small but delicious wine menu that matched our food nicely.
Highly recommended
B. B.
I tried the Patate and Salsiccia Pizza and it was beautiful! The salsiccia tastes almost like back home. The only suggestion I would make is to roast the potatoes a bit more.
O. D.
My favourite pizza place in the city!
Generous portions, fresh ingredients, good variety of vegetarian and non-tomato options. Quick service and friendly staff. Try the desserts as well!
Walk-ins may not always be possible, try to book beforehand.
D. J.
Best pizza place I think I've ever been to in my life. Absolutely loved it.
S. S.
Amazing! Came in without a booking and the team were happy to work us in without interrupting any bookings (but recommend a booking). Thank you!
Wife and I had the truffle pizzas and loved it! Right balance of ingredients and well cooked. Wonderful crunch but soft in the right places. Recommended it to a colleague and they also loved it! Third visit both here and the one near Toorak! Recommended, see you again next time!
A. A.
Been told to visit this place often so thought today would be a good a day as any. Small place, but so busy, so make sure you book a table or be prepared to be turned away.
As soon as you walk in you smell the amazing aroma of the food being served and each plate or pizza looked better than the next. So of course this got us excited.
We ordered the eggplant pizza to share and it was as delicious as it looked. Thin based but held everything well with a nice crunch. Ingredients were so fresh and we could have easily just eaten 4 of these.
But we also ordered some pasta. I ordered the special on the night which was a wagyy beef fettuccine. While the missus ordered one of the other dishes that I can't recall the name of, but I will never forget the taste. I was so jealous that mine was great, but hers was ridiculously good.
Staff were amazing. Super friendly and attentive as soon as we stepped foot into the restaurant. Food came out a lot quicker than we expected to, even with a full house.
Easily one of my favourite Italian places to date. Will return for sure.
A. G.
Great food. Portions are huge so expect to take away :)
C. N.
I've so far eaten a lot of places in Melbourne, and I must admit +39 pizza was one of my favourites. Amazing service!! Our waiter and the rest of his staff were so nice. The food was amazing and traditional. The pricing is fair and portion sizes are great. One of the only places in Melbourne I really want to go back to!!
J. M.
Yum! Great pizza and great charcuterie.
We got the meat and cheese for two and it came out with an impressive hanging meat contraption. The special cheese that is dipped in honey was also great.
Went went with the titular +39 for our pizza and the flavour and base were both excellent.
A. V.
Fast service, delicious food and affordable prices.
The lamb Ragu was amazing. Light, flavourful and perfectly portioned.
We ordered the margarita pizza, which was perfection. The crust, bite, sauce and cheese were all on point.
Great experience.
L. K.
One of the best little Italian restaurants around! Great value, yummy food and the antipasti is amazing !
Has such a fun vibe about it!
S. C.
One of my go to lunch places. It is small and always busy, which is a testament to the food. Somehow despite the crush it actually feels energised rather than crowded, and we always get a table without booking, so don't be put off if it looks busy.
The menu is a variety of traditional favourites and interesting modern pizza choices. It is good honest food that is well executed with quality fresh ingredients, not pretentious haute cuisine. (Although it must be said the antipasto is presented with flair.)
This is a place to go if you like real Italian food and will appreciate a short but quality wine list.
The spaghetti marinara is delicate and garlicky. You should also definitely leave room for desert.
B. T.
Please bring back the meatballs. And lose the high pizza stands.
N. A.
Delicious meats and pizza. One of the best Italian places in Melbourne. Check it out
M. F.
One of the best pizza places in Melbourne. Yumm!! Book a table in advance especially for evenings or weekends, else it is hard to get a seat. Also, don't forget to try their Tiramisu, yet to find a place that serves one better than them...
A. Y.
Probably the best pizza I've ever had.
M. H.
We had a great Lunch. Perfect service and excellent food. The Pizza is amazing.
C. K.
Not the most spacious. So make sure you run in early. Try their VIP pizza. And their amazing Lasagna 😁
Good food and good service. Crowded most the time as their food taste really good. Staff is friendly.
They don't split bills. So if you want to split maybe do it later or take cash and pool in.
Don't forget to try the tiramisu k.
R.
We order here almost every week. One of the best pizza restos in town. Love their +39 pizza. Every pizza is unique - oozing with flavors!
N. M.
Best pizza i have had in very very long time, great service also.
M. B.
This place is extremely busy but absolut worth it. The pizza was excellent. ;-)
G. M.
This little gem on Little Bourke St.
Total champ ! They were busy even on a Tuesday night but still provided very good services. Food was amazing, especially pizza. They do have lots of wine options. Nice atmosphere, nice food and nice wine.
Highly recommended.
T. H. R.
Great food, nice vibe, good service. I enjoyed the pizza and pasta, the taste was perfect. However, the choice was very limited, the menu was not very exciting. And the place is tiny and crowded, you had to squeezed into the corner and put you bag and jacket on your lap. The table was so small couldn’t even put 2 pizzas on it. But I give 4 stars for the food.
C. S.
My fav pizzas ever! Beautiful atmosphere lovely staff and great wine very nice place to go to.
R. D.
Delicious pizza and fast delivery. Friendly services!
A. A. M.
We had a reservation and we were seated as soon as we arrived. We had 2 margarita pizzas and 1 lasagna I can say they were one of the best pizza and lasagna I've ever had. The pizza crust was thin and light with fresh tomatoes which made it better and the lasagna was amazing. The staff were super nice and welcoming, there was a little mix up and the lasagna was a but late and the manager came and apologied him and did not charge us for it. Over all we were satisfied with their and food, I would come again next time we are in Melbourne.
C. Q. A.
Best Italian pizza in Melb
A. S.
Organized a dinner gathering with friends. There were 8 of us and we were recommended the $45pp started and shared mains with salad that came along. Delicious if I may say. We were content and full. The food was amazing and staff members were friendly and service was fantastic. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.
B. Y. (. C.
Giving a 4 out of 5 because the pizza was delicious and I've been here before and had the calzone and some other pastas, including their carbonara special which were all very good. The only problem I had this time was that the lobster linguine which is arguably the one of the most expensive items on the menu was a let down. The lobster was way overcooked and was like chewing on a rubber ball. The pasta sauce tasted alright, but the star of the dish just flopped.
I.
Went for dinner recently and ordered a couple of pizzas between us. The first slice of the eggplant pizza was nice but as the soft cheese on top melted the texture made it hard to eat. I feel the pumpkin pizza would have been improved by using fetta instead of ricotta. Servers were lovely and prompt.
V. M.
Thank you for dinner Riccardo, great service!
V. P.
A lovely little restaurant in the heart of Melbourne. The menu is small bit they do each item well. Had the lasagne which was delicious, it had many layers, much more than you'd see in a traditional lasagne. Others in my party had pizza which was wood fired and looked so appetising. Dessert was the standout dish. I could've eaten more of it. Would definitely like to come back again in the future.
R. T.
Delicious gnocchi and a busy buzzing atmosphere on a Thursday lunch time. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area again.
E. L.
The pizzas are amazing as always. Same goes to the chocolate they gave after the meal.
J. G.
Good pizza, although I prefer more topping. Lasagne was very tasty and the salted caramel panacotta was delicious
J. L.
One word: good. Two words: really good. A few words: so good that you can't afford to miss out. My boss brought me there, fell in love with it. Went back with my wife, and friends, and my parents who hated pizza previously, and lately my parents-in-law. All loved this place. Even our 6 month old daughter decided not to ruin papa's dinner by not crying, because she knew papa is really enjoying his meal, and she is such a nice girl. Anyway my favourite pizza place. The mushroom vege pizza is really good, even for a meat lover such as myself.
m. i.
Great food and staff, better beer options would be great
B. C.
Restaurant is clean, warm and authentic. I had lasagna and it was tasty but the serving was quite small, was expecting something a bit more proportionate. Service was good, even with a group there was barely a wait. Neat, tasty, authentic italian restaurant, not too expensive either!
S. D.
My son Harry thinks it was epic, the repiece was off the the hook, pizza was delish. But was a major problem with the sauce! The sauce was good but it took over the meal. It really brighted our night to the maximum amount of fun for us!
Me? I just thought it was the best pizza I have ever had the staff were very friendly. I had the 39+.
V. N.
Great service and some of the best pizza I have ever had. Very busy though so try to get in before the lunch rush. Try the Margarita with prosciutto and Chill oil . The pasta and Lasagna are incredibly rich, rustic alternatives and the deserts are extremely good too, try the Tiramisu!
A. T.
This is third time. One of my favourite place in Melbourne. First time was amazed me but today just nice.
S. C.
You need to get in a little early on busy nights to get a table. They are busy because they are one of the best pizza places in Melbourne. They have big bottles of chilly oil if you want it. Pizza sizes are big and thin, I’m 162cm and 56kg but I can eat a whole pizza cause I don’t have a stop button. My friend is 189cm 80ish kg and he can nearly finish a whole pizza. You will be happy and well fed here.
A. C.
Book ahead. Big Group - lots of little kids. Staff were warm and friendly. Low G/F options only - cross contamination can't be avoided. Would recommend for families. Tight squeeze but we could fit the pram in. They had two highchairs at least not sure if they had anymore. House wine was delicious.
a. m.
Saw the high reviews so thought it might be worth checking. The pizza was… edible. The flavours were (kinda) there but it was extremely greasy to the point the crust was soggy and I had oil dripping from my entire hand. Wouldn’t go back ever again.
R. W.
Good solid Italian food. Definitely enjoyed the specials, pizzas and choice of wine was also excellent.
D. M.
This place is best enjoyed when several meals are shared between friends. You can easily get a pasta and pizza to share between two for less than $50. The pizza's are fresh, the buzzing kitchen adds to the electric atmosphere of the restaurant. Italian staff just to give an authentic European feel! Enjoy the service and enjoy the best wood fired pizzas in the CBD
K. E.
Excellent dough that basically fit the bill for best pizza in the spot. Be it margarita or others. Atmosphere is great. Had lots of great looking desserts on display but we were stuffed at the end.. Oh well, next time will be soon..
J. X.
Pizza is great! My Italian friend said the pizza is quite authentic.
R. S.
The pizza here is amazing! Beautiful flavours and dough!
The ham and cheese board is also a must. Add the prosciutto onto your board as this is easily nicer than the normal ham.
Great atmosphere and great staff!
G. F.
I've been going to +39 since the day they opened. Always a buzz around the place and great pizza and pasta, and the service is equal to the best in Melbourne!
D. W.
Best pizza in Melbourne hands down. Authentic Italian, quick service and excellent staff. Kid friendly too. I've been more times than I can remember and I've never once been disappointed. 10/10.
C. A.
Went in at 8pm on a Saturday night, restaurant was full and we had no reservation. Was greeted with a smile and was seated at a free table. Customer service was great, we ordered a pizza to share and a foccacia and our food came out hot and very quickly. We shared a chocolate mousse and also had Italian hot chocolate. Great food, average pricing, great customer service. Highly recommend!!
S. L.
I had the lamb ragu rigatoni, slightly salty for my taste but beautifully soft and generous portion of lamb with crispy sage.
All my friends had pizzas, and loved them.
Service was on point.
C. J.
Fabulous pizza. Food delicious as well. Tiramisu to die 4. Service is impecable and fast. Love this place.
G. R.
The pizza base was too burnt in some parts and then the middle was too sloppy. It was still a nice pizza but for the price I needed it to be amazing. On that note, the menu uploaded here is out of date, expect prices to be 15-20% more than quoted. If you walk in thinking you're going to get a $15 Margherita you'll be sorely disappointed, as I was. Otherwise, the service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is very good. I particularly enjoyed watching the meat being sliced and then presented to a nearby table on a 'clothes line'. In the end though, would I come back? Probably not.
A.
Great little place not far from the G.P.O. I visited without booking but because I was solo they found a small table up the back that I could occupy until the booking showed up. I ordered the lasagna and a wine and the lasagna arrived hot and just the right portion size too. It was absolutely beautiful and will order this next time I go.
P. A.
The best italian i have found in long tine. Food excellent service excellent. Little pricey but quality makes it worth it
n. r. (.
This place is Italian food at its best.... when i come to Melbourne its always on my list, they make a great authentic wood fire pizza with fresh ingredients and an amazing tomato base.
The also have a great specials board with inventive tasty dishes that change often so you can always try something new.
They get very busy so you should book.
y. h.
Italian food that tastes like Italian food. Its an expensive place to eat, but they get the dishes right. I had the beetroot gnocchi which was delicious and I also tried some of someone else's pizza. They got the dough right, which seems so hard for so many places to do, and the toppings weren't piled on and drowned in tasteless cheese. Deserts too, were subtle and not drowned in sweetness, so they didn't obliterate the lingering memory of a pleasant main course. I would go there more often if I was wealthy, but like I said, it's not cheap.
B. B.
Great pizza atmosphere and service.
We were really flattered after the manager made such a fuss out of us when we got engaged, he also did the same on our birthdays.
Great guy!
We eat at the Toorak restaurant and definitely recommend
M. H.
Went here as part of my pizza world tour as it is rated highest pizzaia on trip advisor. Pleasant place. The tomatoe base wasn't as good as expected however the base and cheese were good. Overall it did lack the wow factor when eating out but I will definitely be visiting again to try the other pizzas. The tiramisu was not my cup of tea, however my friend loved it!
Y. C.
Excellent food and reasonable price
S. B.
The best pizza I've ever had! Very very very good!
이.
Average pizza.. phone manner was terrible. Put someone speak better English please or better manner
I had so much trouble to ask booking detail.
I wouldn't be annoyed if he was nice enough instead blame me of his lack of manner or English or whatever he could've have.
Service was okay.
I think it's a dilemma of busy places.
Can't be nicer due to busy atmosphere.
My booking was certainly 6.30-8.30 and went there on time not to be cancelled, but meeting was 7pm so told them I will wait for them. However constantly asking what are you gonna order.
Later on I had to order a dessert first not to get too much attention while I am waiting alone.
Desserts were okay either.
Not complaining anything, but I think it's a bit overpriced.
H. H.
Great atmosphere and delicious wood-fired pizza. They add little touches such as salt from Italy and real Italian flour that really puts it over the top. Excellent service as well.

I have had a fantastic dinner here 3 times in the past, the food is delicious. Unfortunately tonight, for the first time, there were delays in both our reservation and receiving one of the dishes we had ordered. However, the manager more than made up for this by offering us free drinks while we waited. Even if he had not, I would still recommend this place as the food here is definitely worth waiting for.
R. B.
Nothing else to say but very good pizza good drink selection and very very hospitable service. Be it a first date or a group get together you cannot go past this little gem.
Italy away from Italy gr8 service from lovely Emma and the charismatic Andrea.
G. T.
Went during the week. There wasn't a wait. Very friendly staff and large pizzas. And did I mention, as an optional extra you buy dipping sauce for your pizza crust! Awesome!
R. S.
Love it! Big call but this is personal. The special figs and prosciutto pizza is to die for! Small and busy, get ready to wait. Service is excellent and I like the wine they suggested to go with the pizza.. I'll be back!

Walked in on a Saturday without a reservation and jagged a table straight up. Place was packed, we will definitely book next time. Food was quick and service prompt. We had a lamb ragout and marinara spaghetti. Both were first rate and could not be faulted.
A. I.
Delicious pizza. I'll suggest Margherita with buffalo mozzarella and stracciatella on top... AMAZING I had it with a fruity impeccable Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and for the sweet tooth ones the little pizza with Nutella strawberries and ice-cream is the perfect solution
C. W.
Good service. Great pizza.

Me and my friend have been to this restaurant twice in one week because the food was that good. Very quirky presentation of food and is soooo authentic. Is a must for when u come to Melbourne. Staff also very helpful and pleasant for how busy they always are. Go here to give ur tastebuds the time of their lives init. Also if ur a bloke will get u big brownie points with the Mrs x

Great pizza, comfortable interior, and accomodating staff
T. D.
Thank you for a wonderful evening! Great food, friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere. I would definitely come back again.

Last weekend, we tried this restaurant on friends suggestion. I must say we loved the food and the service provided. Pizza was amazing and so do the garlic breaads. It was not too expensive , we paid like 60$ for 2 persons.
Definitely recommended to anyone who is the fan of pizza and typical Italian style.
D.
Best pizza in Melbourne hands down. Compared to all the other Italian restaurants I been too that sell pizza none of them come even close to +39 pizzeria. Excellent service and speedy delivery of food even when the place was at full capacity. Make sure to reserve a spot before hand especially peak times.
c. j.
One of Melbourne's little hidden gems, amazing food, been consistent for the ten years we've been going ! delicious pasta, fish, and the pizza's are incredible.
Small restaurant, tightly packed tables, always full *any* time of day or week, it's that good. so book early and enjoy one of Melbourne's best Italian restaurants :)
b. m.
I just can't enough of the pizzas. This place really takes the pizzas to a whole new world. They have so many different varieties of pizzas with different flavours that I just feel like having them all... If you guys are looking for a team lunch or a small get together you should really try this place.
S. L.
Reservations are a must. Had the +39 pizza and the lasagne and both were awesome. Service was awesome too. Portions were quite generous as well. The place gets really crowded and tables are a little close to each other. Good vibes though. great dining experience!
B. S.
Food and service are top notch. The Lamb Ragout was a standout. The waiter made an effort to pair the right Italian red with our Aussie palate. Great dining experience. Very popular!!!
C. G.
Average pizza, definitely not the best pizza I’ve ever had. Being Italian, I’m very picky when it comes to pizzas... the place is ok and the staff is pretty friendly, however the pizza is not what I expected: it’s just above dominos. Anyway the service is good and fast. Price is OK

After walking past this place on the way home from work most days I finally popped in for lunch after hearing they make a mean pizza. The fact that this place was a full house at lunch time on a Friday proves how great is. The pizza is great and very authentic. It is now my favourite pizzeria at the top-end of town.
D.
Probably the best pizza in Melbourne. Well worth a trip into the city, you must book, the Margarita was the nicest one I've ever eaten and the quatro fromage with blue cheese just heaven. If there is better in the suburbs, I've never heard of it. Put this place on your bucket list, it's a big two thumbs up from me. Made to a standard not to a price.
S. C.
Ordered pizzas from here to get delivered and my oh my best pizza in Melbourne! Love their crust and love all the pizzas I’ve tried. Need to physically visit this gem because I can not wait to try their pizzas fresh.
J. D.
Real deal pizza and pasta. These guys are all over it. Pasta done well, pizza hits the spot. Chili oil good too. Good selection of wine. Group meal option for six or more people is a bargain. It’s heartening to see a restaurant still doing what it did when it opened.
J.
Cozy, busy venue on Saturday evening, a bit noisy. Friendly and fast service, though at times a bit rushed. Pizza is thin crusted and amazing, can highly recommend the White lover (actual name, perhaps a bit racist?) pizza. The meat stuffed olives were very good (though not able to taste the meat).
S. G.
Been here twice. Everytime I'm in Melbourne I come by for their great pizzas. Try out their spritz beverage, it's the best I've tasted.
Antipasti plates are quite ok, you can either choose between salami plates, cheese plates or a bit of both. Great way to start off.
Must try their truffle pizza with rocket. So wonderful!
A. L.
Great unique and traditional pizzas.
Base was thin and had a great bite to the crust. Eat it quickly as it can get a tad soggy towards the end.
The toppings are generous and fresh. The tartufata was nice and creamy, plenty of rocket on top and the cream of mushroom was delish.
The +39 had a generous amount of prosciutto and the mascarpone was the perfect compliment to the gorgonzola.
Pizzas are quite pricey $20+ and there is a 1.55% surcharge on all card payments
Service was friendly and welcoming.
G. O. (.
Best Tiramisu ever!!! Very good coffee and they have an amazing customer service! Good job.
R. M.
This place is always so busy, as other have said you certainly need a booking or be prepared to risk it. Which we did and managed to get a table straight away. Unfortauntly the tables are so tiny it was very uncomfortable when you have two people with two pizzas and both plates have to hang off the table. Had the carbonara pizza, needed a base like a white sauce or something because it was soo dry.
F. “. I.
Good pizza not the best one. The pizza makers are not Italians and you can notice that in the final touch.
A. C.
Perfect service and wonderful food. Understated pizzas ensuring all flavours are fully appreciated and very quick to arrive. A wide selection on the menu ensured decisions would be hard to come by. Requires a second visit.
K.
The food was delicious and fresh and the service was friendly, attentive and very accommodating to my dietry requirement. I will most definitely return.
J. B.
This is an excellent Italian restaurant right in the heart of Melbourne, and offers something for everyone. It’s a small place so booking is essential, but if you turn up on the fly the staff do try to fit you it (inevitably, the tables by the toilets but thems the breaks) We ordered a range of drinks and food - lamb Ragu, the +39 pizza, Pana cotta and a tiramisu, along with drinks and coffees. Total bill was $152 for 3 people. Totally recommend, the staff were helpful, the food was very filling, and it was an enjoyable meal.
P. A.
One of the best Italian pizza in Melbourne (and I'm Italian),great vibe, great food, great people
N. S.
Wow! Firstly, I rarely write reviews but do when I think something is worth talking about. So let me start by saying thank you for a very lovely meal. I am in Melb weekly for business but this week have been stuck in my room very unwell. Quick delivery via deliveroo and voila, by far the most incredible pizza arrived, I ordered the Capricciosa Pizza, Buffalo Mozzarella Carpaccio and a fab bottle of Italian Red wine (yes they deliver wine!!!!) The base is thin and the right amount of tender chewiness/bite to the dough, the red sauce was a knock out, the crust lightly charred by the wood fire and a good amount of topping. The Carpaccio was incredible, I have never had such lovely fresh cheese like this, even in Italy itself. Well done and thank you for making this sick business traveler very happy and full. TRY THIS PLACE NOW!!!!! These guys win my vote for best pizza in Australia.
w.
Delicious pizza - quick service. Pasta meal didn't have as much flavour as expected....restaurant compact and busy. Not ideal for romantic meal but enjoyed the pizza. Would not define as a cheap eat - thought meal was quite expensive for what it was.
R. L.
My pizza was burnt and tasted bitter. The waiter tried to convince me that how it supposed to be but imho when the crust went from golden brown to coal black, it's burnt. When we finished, there was black crisp all over the plate. They did offer to replace it though but still sticked to argument. The rest of our order was decent so 3/5 rating seems reasonable to me.
S. P.
Went there on a Friday night with family. Very busy and noisey, suffers from the "too many tables in a small space" syndrome.
Pizza was very good with the Truffle Carbonara a stand out. Crispy cheese, proscuitto on a thin base lightly coated in egg. Was sensational.
B. B.
Exquisite. Food was incredible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great experience.
d.
other than the slightly aggressive approach the first guy had, who stomped off when i said i was just looking for a minute (I'm from tassie, bruv, we're not used to being accosted as soon as we walk in), the food was good. The pizza crust was thin and crispy and the toppings were fresh. The Black rice and chicken salad was devoid of any noticeable chicken, but was still very tasty and fresh. Very busy for a Tuesday night.
C. C.
Truffle carbonara pizza was great! So was the ambience although busy. The seafood pasta was a let down however. Would recommend to go for just the pizza :) It is called pizzeria after all.
J. T.
Had the capricciosa with a menabrea beer. both were great. Pizza was cooked well and crust was perfect. Some. Charred bubbles, good thickness, and not too moist amd not too dry. Artichoke hearts were flavorful and black olives had some punch! Whis the ham had a bit more spice, but I got the spicy oil to put on there and it was great. Staff was friendly and environment was relaxed
C. S.
Great food, slightly on the pricey side. Service could be a bit faster but a solid lunch spot.
C. H.
Sensational Italian. A very pleasant meal hosted by lovely staff with a great selection of Italian wines.
S. H.
We love this place. The owner is a champion also 👍
S.
Although the pricing are expensive the food completely blocks that aspect out , delicious from my mouth to my tummy
M. C.
Lovely food & friendly staff. The truffle pizza and lobster linguine was a highlight for me. Only downside is that if you have 8 or more guests, they make you get their set menu.
J. W.
+39 Pizzeria is a bit overpriced and not the best quality when I was there a couple of years. I don't know if this is accurate anymore because I haven't been recently and it may have changed management, but when I was there with a group of 12, the service was quite lack lustre and the food was pretty average quality for what they were charging. To be honest, it seemed quite overrated and that's why I haven't been back since.
D. M.
Everything was delicious. Only down side, my kids ate all my steamed mussels!
A. T.
Vibrate and fast pace. Has an authentic Italian feel and the food is great. A little cramped but that adds to the energy. Staff were friendly and efficient. Went with a largish group and was a little hard to talk to anyone other than the people next to me. Would definitely recommend it.
K. J.
This place is a MUST - we have been coming here for years on the Fri of the F1 GP weekend (March). We are serial REPEAT Customers!
I always book on the Thurs otherwise we wouldn't get in.
The Pizzas, beer and wine are superb, as is the service. I love the overcrowded, noisy atmosphere. Not many people here on their Smartphones, it's an ENJOY place.
F. G.
It's always been my favourite pizza place in Melbourne but I went there last night and I was disappointed. Pizza tasted good, service was good, but they got me the wrong pizza, apologised, changed the topping and gave me back the same pizza base with the changed topping and it was obviously almost cold (which I really hate!)
L. M. S.
Excellent customer service. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Me and my fiancé loved the pizza and pasta. Delicious tiramisu dessert to cap a lovely night.
V. H.
The food in this place is absolutely delicious. We only tried a couple of pizzas and entrees, but we will definitely go back to try the rest. They have vegetarian options. Remember to book in advanced as the place gets very busy.
S. M.
Could use a finer eye for detail on the cleaning (there was a big piece of the last diner's salami on the floor, which put my vegetarian girlfriend off a bit) but the actual pizza makes all other issues immediately forgiven. Authentic and really tasty.
L. S.
Im new to Melbourne, I reside in Sydney and decided to come down primarily to taste the various restaurants in Melbourne CBD. Ive eaten at a fair few Italian restaurants as Italian is my #1 favourite food and culture. Nothing could have prepared my mind and taste buds for the pizza and pasta I ordered last night. Every mouthful was like an earthquake of flavour, every bite a different exciting experience. I would recommend this restaurant to ANYONE who is a pizza and/or pasta fanatic like myself. I will be back on my next trip down, primarily to experience this restaurant again. 10/10 A+ go eat here now.
G. H.
Best pizza (parmigiana) I’ve had in a very long time. The rocket salad was also amazing, and together more than enough as lunch for two.
B.
One of the best pizzas I’ve had! The service was great, the pizza was amazing and desert was delicious! Hands down recommend to anyone in Melbourne
M. T.
If you're looking for a pizza in Melbourne CBD, don't bother going anywhere else. No one else competes with 39+ pizzeria.
My personal favourite: The "Tartufata" a mushroom and truffle combination that just ignites all sorts of feelings on the taste buds, even for the non vegos.
Excellent location, super friendly and attentive staff, amazzzing pizza (nice and crisp base - honestly the best pizza base ever). You can't go wrong.
L. L.
Amazing pizza! Lovely waiters. Definately recommend if you can get in!
S.
pretentious or what? Just have a look at the dinner menu and decide that for yourself. Overrated definitely. Food is ok, absolutely nothing to rave about here. You can get this type of food in any 'pizzeria' in the city. Staff were quite good, and do like to mention they are authentic Italians but service was ok. I would not like to sit down the back of the restaurant unless you like to eat almost in the bathroom. Honestly I would not go back here again as there was nothing to make it stand out from any other reasonably priced establishment. Oh I forgot to mention it is a bit expensive for what it is.
D. S.
As per usual, ok food, below average service.
L. F.
Love this pizza place!!! The atmosphere is lively and service is great, but most of all they have some of the best pizzas ever! The crust is amazing and just the right amount of topping!
J. J.
Excellent Pizza 🤪🤪remind me beautiful Italy 🇮🇹
J. C.
Cute little restaurant that gets pretty busy! Great menu with authentic pizzas! Friendly staff and good vibe. And child friendly!
V. _.
Cant really boast too much about this place. Seating/tables was way too cramped, seats werent comfortable. A bit try hard but a pizza needs a base, not something that is thinner than a crepe and goes to mush. Yes it tasted ok but the pizza wasnt a pizza. Oh and you pay extra for it too, yeah pass. Go try and make up your own mind, wasnt terrible but the pizza didnt fit my definition of one, and no i dont count dominos as pizza either. I know Italians who have gone to Italy to learn pizza making and they sucked hard as they made pizza similar this. Its the in thing for the foodies by the looks of it... service was excellent though, cannot fault them on that.
P. T.
Seriously good Calabrese pizza, super tasty, base is chewy perfection. Polenta chips with truffle mayo a great side 👍
M.
Amazing pizza, highly recommend their mozzarella
M. G.
Excellent service from Paolo and his friendly staff. Top quality food and will definitely return for lunch
D. S.
The food was beautiful. The wine was fine. The staff were friendly. The service needs a little improvement. The cashier shouldn't try to rip people off. Tried to charge me an extra $10 when we split the bill
S. D.
Love the atmosphere and the food. Their pizzas are so special and tasty with good service and friendly staff.
H. S. T. (.
Very nice and special pizza here!
H. S.
That’s my first time trying an italian pizza and they kinda nailed it. It was good, delicious and fulfilling. Looking forward to visit again and try more from menu.
J. A.
The pizza is pretty nice here, crust is very puffy and crispy, just the way I like it, generous amounts of toppings and sauce, bit busy here but it's acceptable - enough said, would recommend to have a try.
F. F.
Delicious food and very well priced. Their specials are usually the best meals to go for. Both pizza and pasta dishes are very well-made, but are sometimes a little small for the price.
J. G.
We went here for a quick meal while in Melbourne. It was packed out and after eating here we could see why! The food was delicious, full of flavour and exceptionally fast service! Even as a busy restaurant the team didn't miss a beat. Well be back! Thanks :)
T.
Magnificent pizza. Decent prices too. Super busy, but I got my pizza surprisingly fast (was only halfway thru my drink). Can't really fault it to be honest.
L. G.
I've got pizza hanging out of my mouth as I give this restaurant 5 stars. Each bite of this incredible pizza upset me as I knew I would have to wait 4 months before I am back in Melbourne to taste this authentic epic cuisine again.. Highly recommended the +39 pizza.
M. L.
I was in Melbourne on business, and was dining by myself. The staff were lovely, the venue was cozy, and the +39 Pizza ordered was perfect: rich and delicious. My only mistake was ordering beer, when I should have really gone with wine.
M. P.
Full of people but I don't have to wait for long.
J. F.
Pretty good pizzas. Lasagna was great. Got really busy from 6:30pm onwards on a Sunday, so get in there early if you can.
T. C.
REAL PIZZA! The pizza Diavola that I ordered was topped with a generous amount of fresh ingredients, thin crusted, slightly charred, and moist in the middle. It tasted absolutely delicious, just like the pizzas I had in my previous trips to Italy.
S. F.
Excellent Italian fare, great staff BUT very busy. You must really book, they do have two sittings, but lucky to walk up and get a table. A couple might be okay, but anymore and you would have a wait.
M.
Loved the pizzas such a good taste. Very loud inside but worth it... We will come back for the regular Nutella pizza :p
T. F. P.
Great food and great staff! Amazing pizza! definitely going to come back if I’m around melbourne. Their 39 plus pizza and the garlic bread tasted amazing!
T. S.
Fantastic service and amazing traditional pizzas that are delicious! A busy little place but the food was still quite quick to come out.
B. K.
Fantastic pizzas and their hot chocolate is a must have! Super quick service too. Will definitely be going back.
E. K.
Pizza was great but other food was quite average. They did have a nice atmosphere with great service.
S. S.
The pizza was delicious and the staff were amazing, we didn't have a reservation but shared a table with another couple which was really good. Love to go back there again
R. D.
Very small space, fast service, food was ok. Frustrating that we had to pay in 1 bill instead of separately when the cost was $800
D. F.
The pizza base!! The pizza base!! Oh did I mention the pizza base!
Devine, mouthwatering, simply delicious, I could eat that pizza base bland with nothing on it, it’s that good!!
Lots of different toppings to choose from and the two we tried were faultless.
Thank you +39, will be returning for sure.
A. L.
Great pizza with interesting ingredients. Love the special apple walnuts option.
Great portion, too.
Staff are friendly and welcoming.
M. A.
Searched for best pizza in Melbourne
Drove 40 minutes
Not only did I find best pizza but also best service
Will not disappoint!
C. M.
Delicious pizza!! I go there all the time with my friends and it never disappoints - the only struggle I have is to choose between an old favourite on the menu and the weekly specials.
S. Á.
Good quality italian-style, wood-oven pizzas. They also have a good selection of italian wines and cheeses. Some of the pizzas are far from traditional, but they are still good.
G. G.
Really nice pizza. Really nice vibe, friendly staff. Only one choice of cider but was a good one. Possibly the destination chilli oil is ever tasted. This value for money to!
R. H.
+39 is one of the other authentic Italian restaurants in the CBD. I believe there's a few. This is the second margherita that tasted closest to what it is in Italy. Got the Fettuccini Alla Marinara as well and cannot complain...!
P. M.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff who really care. Great coffee, especially when it is made by Paulo.
S. W.
Food is super delicious! This is my favourite pizza place and honestly I enjoy it coming. Little pricey but what isn't these days, though this one is totally worth it.
S. G.
Everything from the service to the quality of the food and wine is beyond impressive. Nothing like having your prosciutto sliced right in front of you before being served. Can’t wait to go back.
A. B.
Delicious pizza and great wine. We ordered Carbonara with truffles and Napolitana. One of the best in my life.
R. C.
Best pizza always delicious
B. D.
Tiramisu was great... Wood fire pizza was also very delicious and not burnt atall.... Perfect for a night out.... However it's always very busy so expect to wait for 10 15 mins , but service is quick and accurate.
J. H.
Pizza is amaazing! We had the +39 signature pizza.. more than enough for my gf and I.. Place was very busy and had a great atmosphere.
M. K.
Great pizza and past almost like in Italy! Good atmosphere, very kind waiters, excellent food! I can highly recommend this place!
B. E.
A gem of a pizzeria along one of the CBD's smaller streets. The staff were extremely accommodating of our toddler, even suggesting a kid friendly dish off-menu. (He ate it all.) It's good Italian food, like the raddicchio salad made with pear, walnut and a truffle honey dressing. It's Neapolitan style pizze with well sourced ingredients on top, from the delicate prosciutto to the grilled pumpkin. The waiter was able to pair up a wine that gave the whole thing an extra oomph. Only warning would be to book ahead. We were lucky chancing turning up with the need for a high chair because we were there well before 6
K.
Really enjoy the pizzas and the variety on offer here. Been coming here for years and its always reliable in terms of getting a good pizza.
S. W.
Fantastic atmosphere beautiful food and great service. We were surrounded by Italians eating there so a big thumbs up👍
A truly dining experience
Everytime we visit Melbourne we always eat here.
M. E.
Really great traditional Italian pizza with lovely chewy crust. Staff were great. Good atmosphere.
S. H.
Just having one of the most delicious Tandoori chicken pizza I have ever had. Friendly staff too. It’s worth it would recomming other to eat here the best
A. J.
Food is authentic Italian and wood fired pizza are distinct. Great food, good service. One of the best in Melbourne CBD.
C. S.
Great pizzas, this is a very popular place to eat and was packed on the Saturday night that I went. Staff were friendly and the food was very fast. When I left there were people queuing waiting for a free table.
A. T.
I have pizza restaurants all over where I live BUT my family always want to come to town purely because the pizza's at +39 have no equal, they are the best we've ever had and we always leave so satisfied and can't stop talking about how good our lunch was.
S. S.
Loved it. The 'low gluten' pizza was fabulous (and I have high pizza standards), the service and atmosphere were great. Good spot for a meal!
