We ordered the Corretto Special Pizza. The large size costs $24. I would say the pizza was pretty average. Even though the topping was generous, I would say there was hardly any cheese in the pizza.

Absolutely amazing!! I got the garlic steak and it was one of the best steaks I've had in my life. The gnocchi is absolutely delicious and the service was great ...the only downfall is I ordered cognac, they didn't have any so offered me don benedictine instead, which is fine but I was charged the price of cognac. All in all would 100% go there again :)

One of the best authentic Italian place in the entire Melbourne. Their wood fired Pizza is a must to have. The bruschetta they make is best in Melbourne. Absolutely love the food and the ambience. One can taste the love in the food they make. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for an authentic Italian food.

I would like to advise you that when ordering steat, make sure if want medium rare or well done, tell them not to serve the steak in a hot plate, because will make the steak over done! And the steak was also too salty but they have lemons for you.

By pure chance we chose this place, mostly because it would easily seat 7 of us at 7pm at night whereas we’d walked passed a few places that had queues. The menu was so extensive it was hard to make a choice over pizza or pasta. Between all of us, we had a blend of everything. Marinara, vegetarian pizza and everything in between. 4 pizza sizes and the small was perfect as an entree and medium enough for most people. House white or red wine was okay and at a good price. Staff were very helpful and meals came to the table in quick time. Sitting outside dining on our meals with little street heaters keeping us warm was a nice end of our staff workshop. Toilets available at the rear but not necessarily wheelchair accessible. Notes: wheelchair friendly, disabled accessible, kid friendly, parking can be challenging in Lygon Street but stick with it and you’ll find something. Thank you to everyone at Cafe Corretto.

Delicious food, drinks and family friendly service. The portion sizes are hearty and generous. The beef parmigiana was amazing and the hugest sized serving. Mine was a GLUTEN FREE PENNE arrabiata PASTA which was a main serve for $22. The food is fresh. I would like to have seen GLUTEN FREE spaghetti and not penne on the menu as it tastes so much better. A great location, easy parking.

For over 30 year's this fabulous family have delivered pizza and pasta to visitors around the world during their visit to Melbourne. Lygon Street is Melbourne's Little Italy. The menu caters for everyone. Whilst your there take a browse at the authentic memorabilia collected over the year from Scuderia Ferrari F1 . Often during the grandprix week you never know who might be dining at the next table.

The best sausage pizza I've ever had. That's really all that needs to be said,though I'll say just a little more. The atmosphere here is great, the food is very, very good as is the service. Cafe Coretto for the many years I've been coming has been the best italian resturant I have ever been to and still is. The food has only possibly not met expectations in one occasion but it was a packed shop and othereise is amazing. The staff are very friendly, helpful and understanding towards customers and are fast at getting food to the table. Both indoors and out the place is relatively safe, clean and welcoming. I always look foward to coming here and picking from their wide range of pizzas, pastas and other delights both now and in the future.

The second you walk into cafe Corretto you are assaulted by Ferrari memorabilia including a replica F1 car hanging from the ceiling. Italian flags hang from every wall and the red tablecloths complete with your own parmesean shaker set the scene for a truly Italian experience. The menu is reasonable with the usual pizzas along with a dozen gormet varieties and the pasta menu has enough for all tastes. I had the Prosciutto focaccia with basil and tomato which is then drowned in garlic oil and the mrs a home made Lasagna. Both were delicious and and reasonably priced. Italian restaurants are always a hard one as they never compare to Nonnas cooking, but this finished a respectable 2nd place.

Delicious food, and generous size meals. I generally fly through a main meal, and felt like I barely touched my meal. The advantage of being able to take the rest home as well made for a prepared lunch for the following day. Highly recommend for someone wanting Pizza or Pasta

We ate here purely because we managed to get a park out the front. The food was tasty and generous in size, however the parmigiana serve was literally the size of the huge plate, and no one should have to decide between chips or salad. Time to re-evaluate and update your menu- halve the meat size, and serve a smaller serving of chips AND salad. Not sure that such a traditional restaurant is open to updated and healthier suggestions. I hope so.

I love Cafe Coretto. I have been going there for years. It has been refurbished recently. I think Coretto is iconic on Lygon St and some of the best racing car drivers like Michael Schumacher have dined there after the Grand Prix in the past. My fav pizza is the volcano but i add mushrooms yum!

It has a Ferrari theme to this restaurant. It adds some character to this venue. Service was pretty good as it well. There is no wood fired pizza here. If you don't mind that then it wouldn't be an issue. I just love how the pizzas are quite rustic when they come out of a wood fire. They have quite a large menu otherwise. This would suit groups where they have a large selection to choose from if there are picky eaters. Pasta was not bad. It just wasn't al dente. Flavours were alright. But it wasn't spectacular either. But otherwise, it was still an ok experience. Not a terrible experience by any stretch.

Went there Sunday evening. Ordered a bruschetta and 2 gourmet pizzas. The bread was probably the best that I have tasted and the pizzas were one of the worst ever. My pizza was heavy on salt but still edible. My partner's pizza was a very chewy, almost like rubber and very very bland. The service was friendly although the waitress seemed to be inexperienced and was handling/touching our glasses from the top. Definitely scope for improvement.

This is one of our favorite places to dine. Excellent authentic Italian restaurant with an extremely friendly staff. When we are here we cant decide which dishes to order, all the dishes here are excellent. They serve nutritionally healthy and feast for your tongue. Honestly, this place was just okay. The restaurant is a simple, no-frills relaxed restaurant. The service was pretty mediocre; it wasn't terrible, but it was pretty busy and hard to track down the waiters. In terms of the food, it was also just a solid okay. Their pizza and pasta were all good, but it didn't taste like anything special, just your average Italian place. Overall I would say that this place isn't a bad choice, everything is pretty decent and I wouldn't say that there was anything that made it particularly bad, it just really didn't stand out either. If someone were to suggest coming here again, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to coming back, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come again (hope that makes sense). I would say overall, there are probably better places on Lygon street.

Had the gnocchi a la pesto. The gnocchi was homemade, tender and light, covered in a creamy pesto sauce. The sauce was a little too rich, so laden with cream that I couldn't help but pity my arteries a little. I opted for a main size rather than an entree and ended up regretting it as I didn't end up finishing my meal. For dessert, I shared the tiramisu, which was served alongside a quaint depiction of the Italian flag in colored syrups. The tiramisu was good, as you'd expect from a proper Italian restaurant, but neither it nor the gnocchi were outstanding in quality. 3.5 stars.

Corretto is the perfect place to enjoy the best Italian food, excellent wines, amazing Lygon street vibe and the Ferraris. I have been a regular visitor here and have never been disappointed. The food is one of the best you can get in Melbourne, the staff is very friendly and it a pleasure to have a conversation with the owners. You can feel the passion with which the brothers run this place. The bruschetta is the best ever, and pasta cardinale is another one of my favorites. Very highly recommended. Also, try the Menabrea beer, a gem from Italy.

If you like red ferrari's, well this place is for you...it's decked head to toe in red ferrari merchandise. Overall food was good, prices not bad. Staff member was helpful. Small issues spoiled the experience a bit though...I saw a grilled chicken salad next to the Caesar salad. So I asked if I could have a chicken Caesar salad and happy to pay extra, but was told this happens a lot, and that the chefs 'wont put chicken on a Caesar salad, as they don't feel it's right'. Y'know as nice as they chefs I'm sure are, I don't really care what the chef thinks, I didn't ask for dog poo in my coffee, and if it happens a lot change the flipping menu. Shouldn't be hard to accommodate the person called the customer... anyway not a drama but just thought that stank a little. Sadly the other negative was the seats are jammed in so tight it was pretty uncomfortable as the people sitting next to us could have been on my lap they were that close. Lygon street is a busy place so unless you want to get extremely intimate and told what you should eat, head somewhere else where the customer is king. (and queen)

Food is average. The price is good though for the quality of the food. The service is hit and miss... you have to ask for water and sometimes go in to grab someone to order food. However, for the price you pay you can’t complain.
