FIGO was a great choice for our first night out in months. We had plenty of space between us and other guests, so there's absolutely no cause for concern here with regard to "COVID-safe" practices. The staff are friendly and clearly very experienced. The range and portion sizes of the Italian street food antipasti were generous and super tasty. The unfussy pasta mains are highly recommended, too. We'll be be back to try the pizzas. Thanks, team!

Great high class food with the authentic Italian charm. Pricing is great for the texture and flavour you receive, and the service is very friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy and is accompanied by classic music from the 30s.

Great food and very attentive service. Had pizza, pasta and a desert. Unfortunately, their coffee machine wasn't operating so couldn't try the coffee. Ate in the street on balmy evening. Traffic was anmoying at times but the food was worth it. Will be back.

I randomly stumbled across Figo on their opening day a couple of years back. Even though I no longer live in Elwood, I still make a point of visiting Figo as their pizza is some of the best in Melbourne (certainly in the South Side), but also because their wonderful staff treat regulars like family, which is the difference between a meal and an experience. I think the price/quality ratio is probably about right, as the toppings are of high quality. If budget is an issue, however, I believe they do competitive specials on Mondays!

Half take-away joint half intimate restaurant Figo turns out incredible pizza and other delicious meals. The gluten free base (pictured) is astoundingly good with no discernible differences to its wheat counterpart. With a beautiful fire-engine red manual meat slicer on the counter Figo offers great antipasta selection and a small but tasty wine list. I go to Figo weekly- it's so good.

First visit last week - excellent quality food, great atmosphere and fabulous staff. Antipasto, calamari and polenta chips were perfect and washed down with their Sangiovese (a lovely drop), pizza next visit. Have booked for a group of us for this week and looking forward to it. Figo is our local and we love it! Especially good before 6:30pm when pizzas and pastas are $17. The quality does vary a little bit, sometimes it's outstanding and other times just good, sometimes sizes very generous and other times quite small, but overall, very good

I'm so lucky to have Figo as my local! It's my favourite pizza place for sure. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. They gave us the best complimentary bread ever also which we really appreciated. I've tried a few things off the menu here but my highlights would be the Bella Topa pizza and the Gnocchi Pesto pasta. Delicious! It's a very homely type place and is quite small, best to book if dining in the weekends as we had to wait a little while. Good work Figo!

My wife and I had a date night here and it was incredible! We had the banquet and each dish was wonderful. There were so may courses and everything was so delicious, we couldn't bare to leave anything behind even though there was enough food for four people instead of two!! The pizzas were fantastic, thin bases and lots of toppings. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The wait staff were all very polite and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Traditional Italian style pizzas that are the benchmark for the local area (if not Melbourne). Gluten free bases are equally as delicious as the traditional gluteness bases and regardless of the toppings we have ever been disappointed. I have to admit that the pizzas are always better dine in than they are takeaway. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, whoever is in charge of recruitment does an amazing job.

Really nice pizza with a great base and toppings, also some interesting street foods. Slightly higher than average cost if you compare to Aussie style pizza places, but this place is aiming for authentic italian. I think they do this well!

We are very lucky to have this little gem near our home. Great service, amazing food. The gelato is delicious and changes frequently enough that we get to try lots of different flavours over the month. The vibe is probably the most stand-out element. You walk in and feel like you are in a little Italian pizzeria. I love that you can grab a bottle of wine to take home with your meals and the metro pizza is perfect for our family - 3 options on one large pizza. Yum, yum and yum! Very happy and frequent customers.

The food is always excellent, and that is the main reason we love figo, however the service tends to be very slow. All the waiters/waitresses we encountered were friendly and smiling, but drink orders/refills usually take quite long, we often received our pizzas before the beers. To be frank it might be just the bad time we went there but we have been there about 8-10 times since opening and it was usually the case. The food makes it well worth it anyways!
