Photos won't do it justice. Need to try for yourselves. Best pizza I've ever indulged in in all of Melbourne. Plan ahead though, if you're hungry there could be a wait. Rang on different days and the ETA for pick up was 45 and 65 minutes. Great pizza means popular demand. You'll without a doubt get what you paid for. Don't cheap out on pizza, you won't know what you're missing out on without tasting the best.

A very busy little restaurant for a reason, rated as one of the best woodfired Pizza restaurants in Melbourne, it does not disappoint! Incredible pizza, well priced. Atmosphere is a little loud and crowded and we were seated in a narrow walkway which was a bit uncomfortable for me but thankfully I was offered the seat with a wall behind me! Really the food is worth any negatives, if you love woodfired pizza you must try Fratellino!

A place with great atmosphere and even greater pizza. The pizza base is thin and the toppings are very rich. All of the pizzas made here are fresh so be patient as there is a decent wait time. The calamari is also expertly made, not greasy and very tender. Highly recommended if you're looking for an accompaniment to your pizza.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here a few years ago. This time we were driving home and started craving a wood fire pizza with prosciutto that is put on the pizza AFTER its been cooked and we were not disappointed. My husband and I got a large pizza each with the assurance we could take leftovers home (he's a vegetarian)... so I happily ate my prosciutto pizza the next day and he had no leftovers to eat as he scored his pizza the night before. Delightful. This is a great place if you want authentic cheerful Italian food and that's coming from an Italian. The venue is cute too... be sure to sit in the front section.

Really amazing food, and service. Can highly recommend the carbonara, and the Hawksburn pizza and the Cassata for desseet. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently really nice, and there's a good variety of alcoholic beverages available. It's lovely to watch the pizzas being made in the wood oven and the dining area is modern and light filled. Kind of quite noisy when busy. Accessible to a manual wheelchair to dine, but we didn't test toilet facilities.

Honestly mixed feelings with this place. Had really good experiences here pre lockdown however had takeaway last time which was far less satisfying. Had the same Marinara pizza for takeaway as before and they had replaced the whole prawns with a premix version. Would recommend avoiding this place for takeaway. The best bloke behind the counter flipping pizza dough locks eyes with me, a gorgeous beast of man, notices my beer is empty and within two minutes another beer appears as if by magic. 10/10 I'm sure the pizzas are unreal. Edit- Pizzas cannot disappoint, they're playing a very dangerous game here with the sheer quality of service and food.

Loved it. Fresh and light pizzas, entree and pasta mains. Their pizzas are unlike others which when you eat can feel stuck to your throat or belly for hours. This one feels airy, soft and easy to digest. Highly recommended. Do take a second to look at their wood fired pizza making place.

Great local place with not a whole lot of night time competition. Acoustic nightmare with no apparent attempts to address the issue... The group I was recently there with ended up yelling across the table the entire evening. I personally prefer the pizza is cut right through before bringing to the table that and some attempt to make the slices of prosciutto somewhat manageable. Carbonara was tasty and a cream filled situation complimented with well cooked fresh pasta. I'd go again if invited and in the area.

Absolutely love this place! We always make a point of coming here when we visit Melbourne. The pizzas are incredible! The base and crust is perfect and the toppings are genuinely gourmet. They can be a touch oily, but in a good way. I’m sure the pastas etc are nice too, but I always get a pizza! Please note - this place gets seriously busy (because it’s so good). It’s very popular with locals. So if you don’t book, don’t complain that you can’t get a table. It gets pretty crowded and noisy, so if you don’t like that, get take away!! The reviews complaining about the staff are nonsense. They’re always great, just very busy. It’s byo and licensed. Definitely a must visit for foodies in Melbourne

This place is totally no frills like the old days, but the pizza is outstanding. The dough has a sweetness to it that really makes it. BYO, loud, busy and rustic. But its perfect just the way it is! We came and our table wasn't quite ready but they promptly poured us a couple of glasses of wine and we stood outside whilst we waited. Great personable service.

Cute place with really nice pizzas. Driving down Malvern Road one night, I noticed this pizza joint away from the main drag of eateries in the area. It’s hard to find a decent pizza (unless you’re north of Melb) that’s not slapped together carelessly, so I thought I should give this place a try. Read the reviews and they rated quite well so it was worth pursuing. Tried it last night and the reviews were right, the pizzas were amazing. They don’t overload with topping but everything comes together nicely with the wood fired taste and beautiful crust. We ordered other dishes but we were not impressed. I think pizzas are definitely their forte. Yet to try their pastas and dessert. Held back a star as the food took forever to come out. The atmosphere was casual with local clientele of different ages. Also worth noting are the prices which were reasonable.

The staff are somehow so relaxed and yet they have speedy service. you get to watch the pizza being made in the giant wood fire oven and there is also Outdoor tables.

Fantastic pizza including a gluten free pizza, sorry no photos, as we ate it all before thinking about taking photos. I ordered the margarita with hot sausage and asked for the chilli oil and it was fantastic - the crust was burnt as one would expect from a Naples style pizza. My wife can only eat gluten free pizzas and I did taste it - the base was good and crispy. The wine was very good for the price.

In my opinion it is the best pizza shop in melbourne. Every wednsday me and 1 of my mates go to a differnt pizza place. This one is the highest rated one (rated by us 2) in the whole of melbourne. We rate them on value, taste, speed and hospitality and fratellino ticks all 4 of the boxes would highly reccomend to anyone going!!! Great pizza!!!

Fantastic pizza place, standard is as high as any good pizza place. Need to book well in advanced as they rarely take walk ins even though they have tables which they can split. We called to order take away and they said 35 mins. When we came to pick it up 35 mins later they only just started making it. That was a tad disappointing.

Hands down the best pizza in Melbourne, nae the world. I've been here more times than I can remember. Staff are great, service is fantastic. Food awesome and priced just right. Not the usual overpriced Melbourne restaurant. It's BYO for wine and their beers are all priced 6-8 bucks so no problems there. I suggest you phone ahead to book a table as it's always busy, always! The dropping by tactic for a table doesn't work that often. Try the Mexican pizza and the tiramisu for desert. You won't be disappointed !

This is a local for a friend of mine and I've eaten here on multiple occasions. The bases are thin, traditional and great every time. I recommend the tomato based pizza's as on my last visit the Ortolana was a little on the flat and unsalted side. The service was good, friendly and a bit relaxed. If you don't ask for something, you wont get it, the staff aren't mind readers. I still prefer D.O.C in Carlton or Pizza e Birra but it's marginal and may be more my own bias than anything else. Definitely worth a try.

A total of two people visited, and while I was gone, I ordered two pizzas, and I was supposed to leave them and wrap them, but the two of them easily got rid of the two pizzas. You can think that the Italian pizza large size is a little smaller than the Korean large size. There was an oven inside the store, so the pizza makers looked a little hot, but they looked passionate. Because of its popularity, there were a lot of reserved tables, but the staff tends to arrange them well according to the reservation time. (Original) 피자의 가격도 합리적이고 맛도 꽤 좋았다. 점원들도 친절한 편이고 화장실도 충분. 야외 테이블도 있으나 실내는 테이블이 조금 협소. 하지만 크게 불편하지는 않다. 총 두 사람이 방문했는데 간 김에 피자 두판을 주문했고 남겨서 포장할 예정이었지만 두 사람이 피자 두 판을 거뜬히 해치움. 이탈리안피자 라지 사이즈가 한국의 라지 사이즈보다는 조금 작다고 생각하면 됨. 가게 내부에 화덕이 있어 피자 굽는 분들이 조금 더워 보였지만 열정적으로 보였다. 인기가 많아서 그런지 부킹된 테이블이 많았지만 직원이 예약시간 보고 유들있게 잘 배치를 해주는 편임.
