When you walk in to Giardino, the aroma alone tells you that the food is going to be good. I can’t tell you how long I was looking for an authentic Italian restaurant that wasn’t poncy and just served great food. This is not one of those restaurants that has two pastas & three pizzas and calls itself an Italian restaurant: the menu is extensive and reasonably priced. I’ve been here many times and never had a bad meal; even takeaway is the same quality as that served in the restaurant. It gets busy, so remember you’re at dinner not a McDonald’s: take the time to enjoy. If there is one thing I would improve it’s the lighting: definitely too bright and can be a bit “dining hall”, but other than that, great find!

Went to Giardino's tonight for a belated birthday dinner, after it was recommended by a colleague. It didn't disappoint. My friend and I were delighted with everything we ordered (cheesy garlic pizza not pictured as it was devoured too quickly!). We had vegetarian pizza, Greek lamb salad, strawberry crepes & churros. The wait staff were lovely and managed to find us a table even though I'd made the rookie mistake of not booking ahead! The serves were generous and both took some of main meal home, so we could fit in dessert! Will definitely back, hopefully soon!

Great pizza, poor take away service. When busy, be prepared to wait unnecessarily longer while your order just sits on a shelf. Because no one bothers to call out your name. Or have your order forgotten altogether after paying. It still happens from time to time.

Pizza restaurants are plentiful in city and surrounding suburbs. This one has particularly high quality choice of fresh vegetables and other ingredients used to make their delicious pizzas. Admittedly, there is some extreme competition in the local pizza trade, but Giardino's pizza is an incredibly good choice.

Giardinos pizza is a great family restaurant! There is lots of seating, but the ambiance is lacking. The food is also delicious, they have very nice pizzas and pastas, but their vegetarian selection could be improved. One of my favourite pizza places!

Ordered pizza and gnocchi. Good quality food as usual from.this classic Italian restaurant. Pricing is up there but is not over the top. Would have expected some fuller containers with the gnocchi and they wouldn't want to make their quantities smaller. Could also be cause it's so nice that you just want more.

I have been to Gio's for a number of years. Every time they have lived up to their high standards with respect to food and service. Some staff, like Naomi and Venessa have the 'x factor'- fantastic in the way they operate- friendly, professional and provide top service. My fav pizza maker is Joseph! Great food at a reasonable price with a nice atmosphere is what you can expect at Giodarno's.

Me and my friend were just walking on the Glen Huntly Rd the other evening. It was cold and we were hungry. Stumbled upon this restaurant and it's lovely. The pizza was delicious. The service was quick. Would recommend you guys to try this restaurant. I would love to come back and try few other dishes. Pros - Has vegetarian options as well. If not, you can opt to remove any meat.

Best pizza in Caulfield / Glen Eira area. I've been coming to this place for decades and the pizza had always been consistently excellent. There are other cheaper places around but none with pizza anywhere near as good. There is no quality difference between eating in or out and the rest of the menu is very tasty too (I just love pizza). The restaurant itself is a nice, simple old style Italian restaurant without any of the normal corniness you get in a lot of similar places. I got some pizzas here tonight and there was an issue with my order. They were exceptionally busy and stressed but the manager took the time to stop what she was doing and went beyond what I expected. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been here and let their pizzas do the talking.

Best consistent pizza on earth this side of Melbourne. We’ve been coming here for years & never a mediocre pizza. Just ordered a pizza now on Uber eats & despite the driver getting lost and taking forever (& laughing about it)....the pizza was still fresh & delicious albeit lukewarm. Not Giardino’s fault. Just ordered through UberEats - value for money to the max. Could not have been happier with all our meals. We had pasta, pizza, risotto and veal. Only recommendation is perhaps the chips, bit hard to keep fresh and not soggy. I definitely recommend if you want to be full from the comfort of your own home!

Wonderful Italian cooking. I like the thin crust vegetarian pizza in the summer time and the minestrone soup in the winter time. All there other dishes are lovely, but it’s enough food for 2. All the staff are very kind and it’s full of all the local families who just can’t get enough of this place. They cater for everyone.

Always busy for eat in or take away pizza. Have only had pizza and come back again and again for it. Eat in crowds are evenly mixed with pizza lovers and folks choosing pasta meals. Back section usually given over to large families with more than 2 kids. Very much a family friendly place. Bear and wine available also standard soft drinks, waters and coffees.

I dont know what any of these bad reviews are on about. The meatlovers was absolutely delicious. Just the right balance of spices to balance it out my god. I will be back again and again. The pizzas were very nice, however when ordering online using their website, the wait time was something like 1 and a half hours. When I called to see if I could pick up, they said it would be 20 minutes. 35 minutes later my pizzas were ready..

Me and my companion visited this establishment at approximately 7.47pm. We ordered pasta, (myself enjoying the napoli and my comrade enjoyed the carbonara including bacon.) We danced to the music, and although it was peak time at this fine establishment it was still very intimate and I could easily make small and big talk. Although a female youth was consistently looking towards our table 6 we felt comfortable in the inviting and warm environment. Although we had both been to this organisation before we felt the need to write this review to say thank you for a wonderful night that both me and comrade will never forget. This is primarily because we were offered a free dessert the owner UG for looking similar to his daughter. I though and my comrade agreed this this was a lovely gesture. We will be coming back and recommending this fine organisation to our friends and family -Connie

Food nice but they accept smokers outside. One lady didn't light up at our request (four children present at the outside tables) but one man became very aggressive and refused to move down wind. It's hard if restaurants support passive smoking for children which they did tonight.

We arrived late. They made us one of Barbara's (my dance partner and past lover) specials: Light crispy crust No mozzarella or tomato paste Garlic in oil spread lightly on base Feta cheese, Chilli, Goat's cheese and Parmazan Some fine cut red onion Mushrooms Seafood (at my suggestion, an addition to Barb's recipe when I'm hungry) Topped with Feta, Goat cheese Parmasan and more chilli flakes (we like it hot and i have chilli in my bag in case they don't do it for Ceylonese palette) Very yummie. They did a great job of it. We had a wine and a coffee. They allowed us to stay and chat after closing while they packed up and did their books and stuff. Ended another night of solid dance lessons very pleasantly. We often meet up after finishing classes at different schools/venues. Recommended. My first time there. G.

This place was a real banga. I was chockers after the night and the owner is a fairdinkum guy! I had a nice frothy there in the arvo with me mates. And the frothy in me stubby was very nice something expensive you’d find in a bottle-o different from me usual goon bag. The Aussie pizza was a real ripper. I talked to this mate called called Connie who seemed like a fairdinkum mate. No mozzies were found in me meal which is very nice after u have a nice snag watching the footy for Collingwood and me mozzies get in the snag! I brought some chippies from the servo to bring but I left them in me Ute! Luckily they had very nice 8 dolla chippies! Funnily enough me grommet self left the chippies in the esky next to me slab. I got so drunk though that I pash me new mate Connie! But they the service didn’t tell me to get of me bossom for a first! I pulled a sickie just to be there actually from me job being a tradie. I said ta and was on me way!

Went for my niece and nephews birthday party. My husband and I used go there all the time when we lived in the neighborhood 20yrs ago.
