I had take away pizza and pasta on a Saturday night. While the creamy pesto ravioli tasted nice, it tasted like defrosted frozen pasta. The pizza didn't taste too bad but the base was overcooked, nearing burnt. I think there are much better options elsewhere for the same price.

Definitely one of my favourite Pizza restaurants in Melbourne, love their Garlic Focaccia and Supreme Pizza Only small with limited indoor/outdoor seating but well worth a visit if in the area

Excellent restaurant with great pizzas and wonderful pasta in a cosy atmosphere. We had the gnocchi, it was light with great texture and an amazing marinara sauce. Pizzas were really good, the bases were cooked perfectly and the toppings were authentic which reminded me of my many trips to Italy! The staff were all very relaxed and friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

Great Pizza and Great service which unfortunately means they get VERY busy so delivery times are very long - 1.5 hours. Don't know why they haven't sorted this out yet. We stopped ordering from them 6 months ago because of this but I was hoping they may have finally decided to splash out on either more drivers or utilizing a delivery service like Uber eats .. and more staff..but no! If you are happy to wait then it is worth it. If you have hungry kids then go somewhere else...cos its not worth the constant "when are the pizzas going to arrive" every ten minutes for 1.5 hours plus!

Been to Italy and had pizza there, it was delicious. This place reminds me of Italy, small shop front and delicious pizzas. Been going here for a while now and I've never been disappointed. Usually packed for dinner time, you'll need a reservation. Staff are friendly, food is great, limited outdoor seating but a cramped shop.

Been going for years. Original owners were brilliant and although they have moved on and will be sorely missed, those that have continued have kept the friendliness going. And the pizza is awesome to along with their lasagne.

Not a traditional napolitan pizza but the very best of the australian style pizza. Perfect crust, sublime flavour that is the mark of chefs who truly know their craft. I highly recommend this hidden gem to everyone. It is easily in my favourite all time pizzas and it is a blessing that they are so close to my house.

This would be a 5 as first few pizza's were excellent, flavoursome, not too much cheese, then they gave me a pizza which had had anchovies on it, they must have made it, put anchovies on then realised and removed them, but as we anchovie adverse people know, that doesn't work. Can't go back! That's inexcusable.

Portofino is located opposite the Glen Huntly tram depot, and parking can be a problem. But the food is excellent and the staff are marvellous. No EFTPOS (bring cash). Pizzas are traditional with a few embellishments, cooked with skill in a gas oven. Pasta is great. Service is fast, despite large crowds most nights.

Probably the best pizza in Melbourne! I used to live around the corner, but even after moving I still go there once in a while. Staff is awesomely friendly and pizza is awesomely tasty :-)

The staff at Portofino are so friendly. The pasta there is also the absolute best. I drive 15 minutes to get pasta from here because I've never found anything as good.

Love the food and very comfortable there. My daughter and I like return often. Just wish they could do a 60:40 pizza instead of the half:half. (I eat more than my daughter:-) )
