We ordered the vegetarian meal for 2 with vegan lazanga, which taste pretty amazing. Just a little down side it was a very small quantity for the price and then paying for delivery.

Great service from a cute little pizza joint. The burrata and tomatoes we had was excellent - super fresh and creamy. The pizza was also delicious, great bread and tasty topping. I assume everything on the menu is just as tasty!

The pizzas are unbelievable, it’s about quality and best in the land sort of goodness, truly works of art. A staffer sort of dampened the experience by rushing us out without any chance to order dessert and being a bit abrupt but these things happen, don’t let it stop you from going here!

Excellent pizza and smoked cheese. Good crust—perfect balance of chewiness and crispy crust. Homemade chili oil was a great complement to the pizza. Only downside was that it took over 45minutes for 2 pizzas to arrive.

One of the BEST Italian pizzas in Sydney 🥰 they taste really authentic and their DOC mozzarella is definitely worth getting! I would highly recommend getting the DOC pizza ~ the ONLY thing I would criticize is that our pizzas were slightly cold, it felt like they sat out for a few minutes before serving. Would’ve appreciated if the pizzas were served while they were fresh out of the oven

Wow! These guys opened a few weeks before the Covid lockdowns and I am so glad they have survived and I know they will thrive. The staff are amazing, the place is small with a cool vibe, the drinks are great but the stars of the show are the pizzas and everything that is on them. Can’t wait to go back and devour some more!

The best Italian Woodfire pizza in Sydney. Such a homely experience when you visit, you’re treated like you’re family. Staff are very attentive and look after you very well, recommending menu options and explaining what’s good with what. The food is 10/10! You will not be disappointed.

Try a 2018 Gamay from the Valle D'aosta with a fresh, light pizza at DOC. Truely fresh, salty, and wonderful Italian food. Finish with a cheese (you have to flip the paper menu) or two. A delight, transported into a leafy part of old Surry.

My first visit to D.O.C was in Melbourne. Went there everytime when I have business trip in Melbourne. It's a good news they are now in Sydney. Been there for 3 times in a month. Showing my friends how good their pizza is! Specially love their pizza with wild mushroom with truffle oil. All of my friends love this and also the tiger prawns! Another must try is Cheese Burrata and their organic wine. Prosecco is my favourite.

This is the real deal! A new find in Sydney for my Italian partner and I. Very authentic, good veg options (including a special) and service with a smile. We were killing time in the bar opposite and the manager took the time to come over and tell us our table was ready early! Loved it. We'll be back!

Highly recommended!!! The waiter who was looking after us was just great. He explained the menu well, followed up on us every time we got new meals... He was friendly and so attentive (our water glasses never got empty!) Food was amazing too. We enjoyed every single bite... It’s simple, but traditional and so delicious. DOC pizza was my favourite! Take the time to go and visit this amazing pizza restaurant!!!! It is seriously the best pizza I have ever eaten. From the family pizza dough recipe of 1968 to the amazing Margarita pizza and the amazing desserts! (We did all four desserts and they were excellent ) Wine sourced from Italy was full bodied and an amazing taste that a second bottle was ordered. The staff were attentive to your needs, even assisting before your request. Five stars from me and can’t wait to go again!! Gracie boys! Well done.

We left with mixed feelings. TLDR: Good for a quick dinner, definitely have dessert, skip the wine. We had heard good reviews so we had high hopes of a great night. The staff were friendly and our food came out quickly. The food was good, the pizza dough was very good, the rest standard. I really enjoyed the tiramisu, it was excellent and the cannolo was also done very well. As my friend had made the booking I didn't realise we had just 1.5hrs to eat before they required the table back; we were lucky they didn't need our table back quite so fast but they did initially give us the bill right on the 1.5hr mark and we thought we were going to miss out on desert! A reminder at the start would have been helpful. Unless you like partially fizzy wine I suggest steering clear of the wine list. All natural\ organic and all 3 wines we had were average; I appreciate that it's on trend but there are no other choices by the glass. The red would have been ok if it was decanted and we had time to let it breathe but it wasn't and we didn't so we suffered through the bottle. All in all it is a good place to have a quick meal before moving on to a nice bar.

Good location, nice vibe in the place. However pizza took 45 minutes to get delivered to our table and when it did it was soggy and the toppings all fell off. Ordered “bruschetta” and got a piece of bread with cream and anchovies mixed on it, didn’t mention this on the menu. Ordered the truffle pizza and it was not nice, a lot of oil and a bad smell. Overall a far stretch from the Melbourne restaurant.

Delicious pizza and friendly authentic Italian service. Tiger prawn and Zucchini Crema are my favourite. Nice wines, although too expensive for what you get. Wine prices compare to an upper luxury class restaurant which this "bistro" style restaurant definitely doesn't belong to. Sambuca was also overpriced for $12 per glass and varies up to 30% content from glass to glass. They should use a measure cup for their alcoholic drinks so you or your friends don't feel disadvantaged.

Back when things were normal we walked by and heard people speaking Italian inside. This is obviously a good sign and I made a note for next time I was craving pizza. The time has come and DOC Pizza did not disappoint. This type of pie is not as suited for takeout but it was still fantastic. Looking forward to when we can sit down and eat it fresh out of the oven. I've been to the original Carlton DOC pizzeria in Melbourne and I am so glad that it is now here in Sidney. If you like the original napoletan pizzeria with a thick border you'll this one. The tiramisu is fantastic and wished you could get more in the cup. Mozzarella bufala Is delicious and bring you back to Italy. Overall, it's a cosy and warm place with excellent Italian food and service!
