What a great find… family friendly Italian gem…delicious pizza for Grandma…delicious pizza each for the grandkids (kid size) … To top it off Pa loved his Penne Bosciola. The lady that served us was delightful and sooo helpful with our 2.5 and 5 yr old.

Wow just wow, every single pizza and pasta dish just blew me away, such authentic Italian food with a super funky vibe, the staff were so friendly and professional and I can’t recommend this place enough! Highly recommend the Mac and cheese and mash was a hit ! It’s byo too!

This is now my favourite local pizza place! Pizza served piping hot. Highly recommend the palm Springs pizza, Donny diavola and the garlic and cheese pizza which has lots of garlic! Leftovers the next day were just as good!

We have been regularly dining at Donny’s since it opened a few months ago. The atmosphere is very relaxed with caring wait staff so we always feel welcome when bringing our young kids to dinner. All the dishes we have tasted are extremely authentic Italian and fresh (we were told even the pasta is made fresh on the premises) so I know I am feeding my kids a high quality meal. I am the biggest fan of the croquettes and the gnocchi. We have tried pretty much all the pizzas on the menu and have always been really impressed.

WOW!!! You do not need to go to Italy to eat a good, genuine Italian pizza... you have to go to Donny's Pizza instead. After 7 years of living in Sydney, I finally found the best Italian pizza, hands down!!! I had the "Trufflemen pizza" and it was paradisiac. The owner/head pizza chef, Stefano, knows what he's doing, he lets the pizza dough rest for a minimum of 48 hours and you can definitely notice the difference. The result is a highly digestible light pizza. Guys, I found the best pizzeria in Sydney and you, have found a loyal customer.

Me and my husband usually go Pizza hunting every Friday night around the western suburbs where we live. We have been to several wood oven pizza places. Donny's pizza is one of the best that we have tried till date!!

Brilliant! Ordered delivery for my daughters 13th Birthday dinner for 11 people.The quality of the food, generosity and delivery timing could not be faulted! If you haven't tried their food, esp the Pizza, you truly are missing out. Grazie Stefano and Team Donny. At last a genuine Italian pizza joint amongst a sea of inner west pretenders. A symphony of dough and subtle toppings where no single component dominates - a synchronicity of flavours. No wall pics of Italian Starlets, maps of the boot or the quaint little village from whence they've descended and not a single delivery Vespa in sight! Donny's is just about the food. Returning tonight for the 2nd of hopefully many more meals.

Great pizza. Really good crust, thin and crispy. Diavola was hot. The pasta is really good, home made and really tasty. Friendly service and the toilet was very clean. Clean enough to mention. We'll be back.

Fast service from staff and kitchen. Fried calamari was just right with a very thin batter, garlic prawns yummy, and pasta with Italian sausage was delicious! Being a Saturday night the place was packed, so go early or after 7:30pm, bearing in mind the kitchen closes at 9:30pm. Great being BYO!!

I ate here last night and can happily say this place is now my new go to. The quality of food at this place is what you expect at your top Italian restaurants in Sydney. We had the penne bosciolia, spaghetti pomodoro and shared pieros prawns pizza and both agreed we hadn’t had Italian like that in a long time. It’s always nice to have staff to match the food quality as well, always at our attention, willing and with a smile. Absolutely amazing experience here and will definitely be making the trip back ASAP!!

Donny pizza as a caring nieghbourhood resident l feel compelled to talk well of the pizza and the pizza experience l had is opinion only like most pizzeria's there pizza should be eaten on site and that most probably the same for most authentic pizza joint. The atmosphere is great the service is very good and very quick, so there is no reason not to eat pizza there but be prepared to be early or try to book a table as they very busy which add to the atmosphere.
