Highly recommend Gio's. I've ordered takeaway a couple of times and the food has always been very delicious. I'm not a massive pizza eater so I'm always happy when they've got other options too such as antipasti, pasta etc. Once I had an issue with my order and Jonathan was super helpful and gave me a voucher to order again. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend their pizzas and the Truffle Mac&Cheese!

Pizzas themselves were pretty good. Service was extremely slow. Not sure if it was an one-off. We showed up half an hour after ordering and had to wait an additional half hour when we got there.

Definitely our favourite pizza place at the moment, and we have tried a lot. We have been to the coogee store and waterloo store, but mostly just get delivery. Never had a bad pizza, always amazing. A great variety of pizzas without being to weird. Staff are also lovely. My only negative is $12 for a tiny slice of cheesecake is just tooo expensive.

Really really great pizza I always feel like the best way to compare pizza places is by getting a margarita. If they do that well, then everything else will be great! Well, Johnny Gios passed that test with flying colours. The pizza was delicious, and even travelled well after getting it takeaway. I love how the pieces held their structure as you lifted them up. Really like a New York slice. Can’t wait to go back for my next!

Such an amazing Italian place, the pizza was perfectly cooked and the ingredients they used were so fresh you could taste the quality. They also have the best Nutella pizza! Definitely will be coming back for more.

I have heard amazing things about their pizza. I walked past their new shop in Waterloo everyday! Today we finally had a chance to try it with a group of friends. We are very particular of our pizza choices and they certainly surprised us with the top quality pizza and amazing service! They are certainly the best in the local area. I have ordered this pizza online. The pizza is good but I have ordered truffle (4$) then when received realized it's just truffle oil . Looks quite expensive to be just oil. Also the polenta were chewy and tasteless, probably of the day before.

This place does the best gluten free pizza in Sydney. The dough is so good that it's difficult to believe it's gluten free - I've had so many people try it and they could not tell that it's gf. The gf option is a bit pricey ($5) but it's so worth it. For me, their best pizza by far is Zaza, just absolutely delicious...my second favourite is the Irishman but I've had the truffle butter and few other ones which were good too.

Delicious woodfired pizza. Seriously good negronis and real Italian beer. Staff are warm and welcoming. Service is quick and the pizzas are brought to the table straight out of the oven. Excellent chilli oil for the chilli addicts. I've been back quite a few times.

First pizzas I had there weren't bad, even though like pretty much all pizzerias in Australia, they're stingy on the amount of ingredients. The pizza I had yesterday was disgusting. It was literally impregnated with oil and some pieces of cheese weren't even melted.
