Rosso Pomodoro is excellent! Not just the pizzas are tasty and crunchy, but the service is fantastic! Plenty of vegetarian / vegan options and delicious deserts. We may say that it's the best vegan pizza we tried so far in Sydney! Even our non-vegan friends loved it.

Hands down the best authentic pizza restaurant I have ever been to, and I have been to many places around the world. The service staff are extremely friendly and deeply knowledgeable of the menu items, as well as fantastic at recommending drink pairings with the different pizzas. I never fail to come back again and again, and I’m always craving it in between visits. If you haven’t been to the restaurant yet, you’re missing out.

Nice little pizza place to go with your partner and unwind over some Italian cuisine. Staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was good. Pizza was huge for only 2 of us with an entrèe and a side salad

Very tasty and fresh traditional pizzas. Best eaten straight away as they are quite moist and go a bit soggy. I'm sure that's how they are designed to be and it wasn't a problem for us as they were full of flavour from the toppings to the crust. As the food was so good, I won't drop a star for the sound level in the restaurant. It has a lot of hard surfaces that reflect the noise and the music didn't help. Everyone was talking loudly to be heard. Anyway back to the food. I recommend the vegetariana pizza for the great range of flavours including the mushrooms which were really yummy.

Yummy pizzas definitely! Very similar to the one in Balmain in terms of quality. We ordered both vegan pizzas, they were delicious. My boyfriend preferred the tomato based, I preferred the mushroom white base. We still think both of them were yumm! The pizzas are thin and crispy on the bases, lightly fluffly on the crust. We believe it's one of the best pizzas in Sydney! I eat pizzas around Sydney, so you could trust my judgement! 🤭🤭

My wife and I attended Rosso Pomodoro on a rainy Sunday night. The Italian waitress offered warm customer service & excellent menu advice. Both our cocktails were spot on. I had one of the many Negroni variations that they offer and my wife had a classic Espresso Martini - both high quality drinks. Our pizzas had a very tasty base & premium toppings. I highly recommend this authentic Italian place!

WARNING to anyone having a birthday party here or celebrating a function with a cake, we brought our own cake and asked them to hold it for us and cut slices. We were charged $3 per slice. PER SLICE. Nobody said that there would be an extra cost for doing that and we're surprised to find an extra $40 on our bill. Ruined an otherwise good service. The service was really good (the waitresses were really helpful) but was told that this was management rules and their hands were tied.

Rosso Pomodoro is BY FAR the best pizza i have ever had. I used to live at Balmain and often go to the Balmain store. I moved to Waverley and it's so good to know that they have just opened a store just around the corner from me. One thing to note is that the pizza is best when you eat at the restaurant. I'm assuming that's why the Balmain store never offered delivery. You can now get Uber Eats to deliver which is awesome, but don't expect the same as if you had fresh pizza from their restaurant. It may arrive slightly soggy if you live far away or your Uber has another delivery to drop off first. This is out of Rosso's control although the pizza is still amazing!

Great place for authentic pizza. Quick, tasty and very friendly service. Their rucola salad with pears, walnuts and truffle pecorino is very good. The Pizza Regina with mozzarella di bufala is my favourite pizza in Sydney.
