Fire blackened spots, left behind on fingers. Red salami grease rubbed back into light fluffy crust. Large pieces of mozz, stringy and chewfull. Sounds great to me. Morale of the story. Get the salamanca salami pizza. It's better than the 'njuda, and doesn't wake you up.

LOVE the pizzas here! My favourite is the honey garlic pizza (dno what it is but the honey, garlic and black pepper just goes so well together), followed by salamanca (spicy salami) and spanner crab. Do yourself a favour and pre-order if you're visiting on a Friday or Saturday night!

The customer service here is lovely, we had placed our order in advance for pick up and everything was promptly organised despite the late call. The spanner crab had interesting flavours but I much preferred the honey & garlic as well as the salamanca. Great cook on the pizza, just didn’t love all the flavours

What the hell??!? Im not a fan of pizza but this place is mind blowing!!! I had NO expectations and this blew me away!! My partner ordered this crab pizza and hot salami pizza. They were both DAAAAMN good! I will definitely be back. The broccolini salad is FINE DINING standard(even better I think) !!!

WestwoodNewtown sure stole a pizza my heart. I'm currently still dreaming about this garlic, honey cheese pizza we had over the weekend. 🤤🤤🤤 This tiny little shop seats probably 10ppl max but due to its popularity, most people end up doing takeaway and eating at a nearby park - what a vibe! It's easy to see why the wait for these could take up to an hour during prime dinner hours. While they only have about 7 pizzas on the menu, each pizza has a distinct, drastic flavour profile from each other. The crust is soft, yet chewy and the toppings are fullllll of flavour. You really can't fault it. 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰, 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 was our ULTIMATE favorite -- simple, with a subtle sweetness and salty tang from the cheese; such a great classic twist. Legit, one of the best I've ever had. 🧀🧀🧀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮 (not usually my go-to) took me by surprise was another favourite from our group - although I did find the toppings a bit too oily and drippy. '𝗡𝗱𝘂𝗷𝗮 was surprisingly spicy but balanced well with the onions and ricotta cheese. To be honest, I only recently found out what 'nduja was, and now I can't get enough of it! 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 was another modern classic that totally hit the spot! I did wish that they had another salty element to it. Overall, 100% would recommend this place if you're down to get your hands dirty. I also heard the owner here use to work at Bella Brutta, another nearby popular pizza joint (in love with their clam pizza!) -- so it's no wonder this place poppin off!! Go check em out soon before the lines become +2hrs long!

First time there and pizza was amazing! We ordered a salamanca, margherita and the one with buffallo muzza (cant remember the name, sorry!) Dough is really thin, similar to a NY pizza which we love! Freshly made in the moment and yummy, you can see them doing it. Menu is short and simple but really good :) Would definetely recommend it!

You'll see the glowing reviews...and yes, this place ticks all the boxes of the zeitgeist, in the same way as our local artist Imbi on stage with Beyoncé would stir the outwardly virtuous to pull out, look down, and start tapping gushingly. And the menu is well supported by what you see when the pizza arrives. And it tastes pretty good...not great, but good. More gusto in the sugo would be as welcome as Bernie in a meeting of "youth greens of newtown". The problem is the napkins. That is, our napkins were as soaked in grease as a paper towel ad. I'm sure it's all the good stuff, and good salami will throw some rendered fat for sure. Less expected is the floating pool on the Marguerita. The freshly made xo chili has all the required flavour, but like the margherita pizza, leans too heavily on the salt. The xo has the right chil for am "xo sauce" but more Chilli is expected in "xo chili". I would still have given the place 5* and returned to eat the salads before rating...but here's the thing...I just don't particularly want to return.

This is the best pizza I have had in Sydney. We ordered the Garlic & Honey and the Nouja. They were packed full of flavour, perfectly burnished from the wood fire oven. The chew of the dough was textbook perfect. I will probably dream about this pizza. My new favorite in town.

WOW! Absolutely incredibly tasty and unique pizza's totally worth the 45 minute drive. I have never tasted anything like this, make sure to get the garlic honey pizza it is so delicious, sweet and tangy all at the same time, I dream about it til this day! *drool* After we had finished our meal we had a brief chat with the Owner and he was so humble and delightful to speak to, telling us about his history and how he started out, really top quality guy. Highly recommend this place, we can't wait to return.

The Classic Margarita👌🏽- there is no other who can do it better! As you walk up Australia street be sure to follow the aroma, as you could miss the entryway into Westwood! Ghost kitchen vibes, with limited menu items, but all pizzas done right! Get it takeaway, and enjoy your crispy crusted wood fired pizzas picnic on the park 🧺🍕🍷

Lives up to the hype, delicious pizzas with great, different flavours. I understand what some people have written about the toppings falling off/ the pizza being sloppy. I think that comes from the fact that turnaround it very quick so you are delivered a pizza that is very hot, straight from the oven. I just waited for it to cool down a bit and that solved the issue. Will be returning!

Really good pizza. Like, really good. Loved the mushroom pizza and potato+eel pizza. Their Margherita pizza was the favourite with most of the group. It's definitely on the sweeter side, I just prefer a more tangy tomato sauce. Their base and crust is excellent. Super crisp and airy that doesn't go soft in seconds. There's not much seating and expect around 30mins when it's busy. They take your name and number to let you know when it's ready so not a big deal. Eat in if you can get a seat for the best pizza experience.

Long wait for a pizza that had no structural integrity. Pick it up and half the toppings fall off. Get a few extra millimetres on the base and it'll get a few more stars from me. Great flavours, garlic and honey a stand out .

Not quite as good as Bella Brutta, but some interesting flavour combos. The dough didn't have much rise and the toppings were a little too moist, but it was still a good feed. Very limited seating, so take away is probably your best bet

This is one of the best pizzas I have eaten. They have a paired back selection of reasonably priced delightful pizzas. It’s a small place so it pays to plan ahead on the weekends as word has already gotten out. Keep up the great work. It’s how all pizza places should be.

Simply delicious pizzas. The best in Newtown. We had their mushroom-black garlic and traditional margarita wood-fired pizzas, with a side of broccolini. The was some crazy delicious secret topping on the broccolini. Love that they use eco-friendly packaging too. Thank you Westwood.

I'm not normally a fan of Pizza but my recent visit to Westwood made me think again. Westwood came highly recommended by a very successful young Sydney chef and I was not disappointed. What a gem in Newtown. The pizza dough is soo melt in your mouth good. We ordered the garlic and honey - which we highly recommend (must eat hot as it makes a huge difference!) and the salamanca/salami. Both highly recommend. Will def go back for more slices.

Really good naples style pizza in a nonchalant spot with an old ice-cream bar sign out front. we tried to call ahead but it looks like they might only use their phone to call customers waiting for pizza they already ordered. Expect an hour+ wait. We waited 1hr 40 mins....it was almost close enough to be worth it to wait that long.

I was very excited to hear that one of the chefs to open Bella Brutta was opening up a joint of his own closer to my home in Camperdown. I eagerly awaited Westwood's opening and heavens above...I was not disappointed. There were two salami options. I couldn't decide. I got both. Again...I was not disappointed. Both were uniquely different in an exceptional way. Westwood definitely has traditional foundations, but leaves you with a 'like nothing you've had before' feeling. Easily my favourite new food in Sydney.
