Absolutely wonderful, great staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and hot when it arrived at the table, big plus. We had a Family lunch and all of us were impressed. The Senior's menue was a hit, with the senior member's and we certainly will return. Lot's of great choices for the younger ones. The Alma didn't miss out as we all enjoy a drink or two. We had a small gathering (7) on Sat. night. A rare thing happened. The evening was almost faultless! The meals were fresh and delicious. Served promptly, hot and without fuss. Drinks service was regular and nothing was forgotten or too much trouble. (I said 'almost...the coffee was luke warm..small thing) A great time was had thanks to you all. Well done....keep it up!

Very relaxed and comfortable pub, friendly staff and good food. Lunch today was very nice, good value and efficient service. My beef schnitzel could have been better in that it had a big piece of gristle running through it and the crumb completely separated from the meat. But very tasty, and really good peppercorn sauce. It's nice that you can choose your side from about 5 different things, which you get as well as the regulation chippies! Hubbys pizza was very nice, could have used another 5 mins in the wood oven though. Have been many times and always have a great experience.

Popped into here for lunch on Saturday to try somewhere different. It's great to see more places offering good quality vegan options. We ordered the margarita pizza, nachos, pad thai and one each of fries options. The service here was really nice. Staff friendly and engaged. It can be frustrating when you go places and stuff make you feel like you're bothering them. So this was good. The food tasted amazing and came put relatively quickly (not that we were in a rush) I only gave 4 stars as I would loved to have seen a vegan schnitzel option. Will be back for sure.

Can hardly fault this place, this is one of my all time favourite pubs in adelaide and in my opinion one of the best pubs in adelaide. The restaurant has a really nice classy, cosy feel to it with the booths and the fireplace. Food is always impeccable, you wouldn't even know you are eating in a pub as the food here is restaurant quality if not better food than some of the other restaurants in adelaide. They have a good selection of beer on tap including a few boutique beers, the barman talked me into trying a imperial pint of furphy, never heard of it before, but i was quite impressed, apparently only a few selected pubs in adelaide stock it. Finally i would like to give a shout out to Kyle who is a waiter, we have eaten in the restaurant a few times now and every single time Kyle is by far the standout, always very friendly and more to the point he knows the food and menu, haven't seen many waiters or waitresses as confident on the menu as Kyle, from my point of view Kyle is a great asset to the alma tavern. Keep up the great work guys 😁

Awesome place to go for the pub quiz on a Tuesday. Had dinner here twice and both times were great. Burgers, schnitzels, nachos etc - all good. Specific shout out to the gluten-free pizza. It's the least-gluten-free-tasting pizza I've ever eaten - they're usually tough and hard but this was almost like eating normal pizza.

The Alma has become a regular for us for a quiet dinner (there is carpet on the floor so you can have a conversation without yelling!) with friendly efficient service and an exceptionally interesting menu for pub dining. The kitchen delivers what the menu suggests and more. Definitely recommend!

Celebrated our daughter’s 21st function at the Alma Tavern (MD room) last night. A really nice space, beautiful GF food platters (no problems catering for coeliac), and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you to the functions manager Sarah for being so helpful organising it.

Dined in the dining room tonight. Great service. Good ambience and not too cold given how freezing it was outside. Good food compared to a lot of pubs I've been to. Would've loved to have the choc brownie dessert served warm. The cocktails left a little to be desired. They could easily be tweaked to have a better balanced flavour profile. Overall a good friendly and decent choice for a Tuesday night out.

I had my 21st birthday/farewell at the Alma in the upstairs function room and would 100% recommend. The staff and the venue where impeccable. Organisation of the food and drinks was super easy (and catered for all dietary requirements) and we where allowed in early to set up all our decorations. I can reliably get zero alcohol beer here, which makes for more, safer, drinking while playing bingo on Wednesdays with our friends. Yes there are great prizes and it’s FREE to play, plenty of space, atmosphere and fun here with celebrity sports identities occasionally attending. The menu is great and there’s also a great dining area, or, if you’re a social organiser, there’s private function rooms.

Have been a couple of times. Chicken Schnitzel for lunch was tasty and tender, chips very nice. Dinner had the Salt and pepper squid, also nice. Food arrived quickly. Staff noticed when water on the table was getting low and replaced without being asked. Checked on us regularly to see if we wanted other drinks, coffee and dessert. Desserts were also delicious. Staff friendly but not pushy. Would definitely go back.

Wow have not been to this place for ages. What a transformation it looks great and really inviting to stay for Sunday lunch. The prosciutto pizza was outstanding, just the right amount of toppings and the crust cooked to perfection. I had a pork burrito which was really interesting as all the fillings were wrapped in together, even the tortilla chips. What a great idea I loved it and actually had cravings for both dishes later in the day. Absolutely going back

Okay. Heard stories about this place but so far several visits have been very good. Sweet Potato Fries are always spot on without issues. The service has always been second to none and it seems like a classy establishment despite its reputation. Range of well priced meals and timely service makes it will worth the visit.

The beer garden is a really nice spot to have a beer or eat something. The fish and chips were really good, but the ribs were a bit plain. Still, good place to eat, the pizza looks very tasty, maybe I'll try it next time.

We attended an event and found the location easy to get to with plenty of parking. The event co-ordination was well managed and well staffed. The sky bar was spacious, plenty of seating, easy to see the big screen with slides, the guest speakers could be heared clearly- thanks to the IT people.

Fantastic selection of food, a lot of variety. We tried the pork ribs and the paella and found the ribs slightly bland. I didn't mind it as this allowed the flavours of sides we got (apple slaw and mashed potatoes) to come out. They paired well with the ribs. The paella was amazing and highly recommended.

From the minute we made our late booking at 6pm for 7pm dinner to the time we left we had exceptional service. Kyle was both accomodating, refreshing and welcoming on the phone. The food here was phenomenal. I am a fussy cow and a good cook. This place nailed it and I don't often say that!!! Kudos to the chef!! The staff were wonderful and the decor is spectacular. We celebrated our son's 21st in the Upstairs function room last night. Polly and Kyle at the Alma were fantastic.From the day I met Kyle then Polly, I knew we were in good hands. They did not fail to deliver. Polly your attention to detail and Kyle for keeping us in the loop rightvup to the hour of the function made this occasion a stress free and memorable one. Thank you both. A big thank you to the security guards who assisted our mother in law (wheel chair) getting up and down the stairs. You guys were amazing. Definitely would not hesitate in recommending the Alma.

There was a decent selection of taps available but no prices listed made me uncomfortable as I didn't recognise most of the beers (Being a new tourist) and I didn't want to order something super expensive. They had a bar menu which listed all the prices for wine, cocktails, etc.. but no beers? We were going to go back on a Sunday evening again only to realise that there was some DJ event on with a queue going from the front door out around the corner..

Have been to he Alma several times in the past few months and are never been disappointed, the meals are fabulous, they do a tapas selection which is more a Aussie style tapas not a traditional but is equally satisfying if you love your pub grub, meals are gastro pub style and thy aren't shy on portion sizes, schnitzels are great I usually go for that, you can't go past a good one. Weather they're slow or busy you always get serve with a smile from the friendly staff, great atmosphere you can't here the bar or the pokies which is refreshing for a pub and the same guy is at the kitchen pass every time I've been there making sure all the meals are to standard. The Alma is a definite favourite of mine and I will continue to return for there great service and consistently awesome food, I would recommend this pub to anyone wanting a good, reasonably priced meal. Always 10/10 and gold stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pictured is the duck my wife had last weekend, she'd said it was amazing!

We decided to go to the Alma Tavern for dinner catch up with long standing friend of 45years plus who now lives happily in Darwin. Firstly we sat in lounge area and enjoyed pre dinner drinks - a great wine and beer selection to choose from. Dinner was thoroughly enjoyed in the dining room - accompanied by a bottle of Bleasedale Sparkling Shiraz. Can highly recommend this venue.

This is more than a Pub. 35 people in our party in the dining room at the Alma. Meals were absolutely excellent as was the service by the staff in the restaurant.
