Great food and friendly service. Have been a few times now. The schnitzels are huge and tasty! Pizzas are very good as well. Really want to try the ribs next. Definitely worth stopping in to this family owned pub for a meal and a beer.

Great value for money, a group of four of us enjoyed a meal on a public holiday Tuesday. My only gripe was the poor condition of the beer garden section which left us sitting on the front porch , but the food was really hearty and the service very friendly.

Another great country pub with a good variety in their menu plus vegan if you're inclined that way. Good prices with very generous servings. All the staff were really good considering they had to contend with a very large booking for a friend's 50th. Can highly recommend.

I have to admit that this place did have a rather nice outdoor area, and the building was quite nice as well, being one of those older pubs, where they would build the buildings not only to last, but also have some charm about them as well.

Had lunch here with friends... best schnitzel I've had in a while. I had the chicken outback schnitzel. .. yum. Other variations looked good too! The missus had the burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place almost looks a little run down, but once you are in it is nice enough. Tablecloths would be nice instead of the paper disposable things. All in all, we'll be going again.

Great service, friendly staff, great food! I booked several days ahead specifically requesting the outdoor tables on the front verandah and 'Marv' (sp?) and her crew 100% came through. We spent a good three hours having a few brews, eating lunch and watching the classic cars go past as part of the Bay to Birdwood festivities. 100% would hit it up again. Love your work; thanks so much. It was one of the best days I've had in the last two years. xxx

Very impressed! We had heard this pub was under new management and thought we would try it out. The meal was outstanding, steak done to perfection and vegetables fresh and tasty. The staff were fantastic and even though busy, were super friendly and attentive. The best meal I have had in the hills in a long time. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend this pub if you like quality meals and service.

If you want value for money this hotel has great meals and the size of the serves especially their schnitzels will have you taking a doggy bag home. Have always found the meals to be delightfully fresh and delicious. Prices are good.

Service friendly and top class. Food exceptional. S&p squid so tender no chewing necessary. Yum. Large serves and atmosphere so relaxing. Chicken schnitzel so tender and delicious, fish was perfection. Serve sizes for seniors very generous. We will be back. Thank you for quick friendly service.

Very cute and quirky. Staff are totally wonderful although we felt a little forgotten when the time came to order dessets. We had to flag someone down despite being the only people in the dining room. Food was delicious.

Nice pub. Free pool table, friendly staff, decent clientele. I've been here several times, both alone and with friends, and never heard a complaint. Fair prices for excellent food. My favourite menu item would definitely be the Schnitzel Challenge. After finishing two of them (on separate occasions!), my tactic has changed from 'earn a free drink' to 'pay very little for two meals' worth of food'. $17 for two serves of schnitzel is just fine by me, and the quality of food is great, too. Two of my friends occasionally drive in from as far as Salisbury just for the challenge schnitzels, so that's all I really need to say. Highly recommend. P.S., mind your head if walking out back/on Elizabeth Street. I've banged my head on the low roof a few times.

This is one of my favourite pubs. Quirky decorations in the cosy dining room and great quality good at a good price. The food is a great selection of pub fare, Asian and pizza, and nice cold beer on tap . Large selection of wine by the glass if you prefer . Nice range of desserts for $10 that keep changing

Must visit! The food is amazing and the menu is huge with pub food, Asian food plus wood oven pizzas. A fair share of starters and desserts too. The staff are very welcoming and it has a cosy inviting atmosphere. Christie the waitress is very friendly and she's obviously enjoys her job. Great job guys, keep it up. Will definitely be back when in Woodside again.

The food is fresh and beautifully presented. The dining room appears to have been recently updated and it looks very classy. My only criticism is that from the outside it doesn't look like a place that serves food (I found out about it being a restaurant through the entertainment book) maybe advertise a bit more because it would be a shame not to. Walked in the door for the first time and felt like I'd been here a hundred times before. If you've been to a "country" pub you know what to expect, but they seem to do it just that little bit better. Good number of staff and all friendly and helpful, and a reasonable mix of drinks available given the size of the place (if you're looking for a "boutique" Bar go elsewhere). Given the layout of the pub, and you'll recognise it, they've actually done a really good job of making the most of the available space. Good number of tables out the front, where we spent most of our time, and there's also a good beer garden out the back, with Sunday live music (but nothing in your face if you're not that way inclined), plus some other good spaces. There is a pokie room, but unless you went in you wouldn't even know it was there. Certainly a place I wish was my local. PS. Now we've had dinner here too and it's even better, as good a pub meal as we've had for a long time.
